Having done much research into cordless vacuums, this one came out tops for vacuuming the car which is what I wanted it for. I was wondering how heavy it would be, but it is lightweight, not at all heavy. All the tools fit neatly into the unit, even the hose fits on securely via a magnet. There are two power settings and the higher one is perfect for the car. The battery on full charge gives about 20 minutes. I noticed a couple of reviewers having issues with the cup release button. Mine would not release at first but I persevered until it opened and that put a few drops of WD40 silicon around the hinges and that made the release easier. I have used this many times around the home and outside and I wish I’d got it years ago. There are several Youtube videos showing how it works and giving a full demonstration. Brilliant piece of kit.

Product bought to enable cleaning the car, ideal as it is battery powered, as I have several worx tools, battery power ins no problem. Ideal to use as you hove not to take the home vacuum cleaner, and extension leads to clean the car.

Maybe not so useful for attaching to power tools like saws or sanders but absolutely brilliant for cleaning out the car.
Bought for doing regular and quick cleaning of the family car. I’ve been impressed with battery life and suction. I can do a quick clean of all floor mats and seats with on the most powerful setting. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because the narrow tool attachment is not slim enough to fit between the front seats and the door opening – that narrow strip that collects bits – meaning that I have to get my hoover out to finish the job which isn’t ideal, but with the right attachment would be perfect. Overall, it looks, feels and operates better than other cordless vacuums on the market, but this is also more expensive
You know when you purchase something and from the first time you use it, you wonder why you waited so long to buy it. Brilliant piece of kit and does everything you want it to.
In terms of downsides? the button to open the waste requires some force, and opening the filter to clean it can be finicky. I’d recommend using rubber gloves or something with a grip to open it as you may find the filter bending instead of opening.
Really impressed with this little guy, easy to carry about I like how handy the two attachments are just being there and has pretty good suction, it won’t replace your main hoover but it does the job, great for the car and the batteries are readily available.
Perfect for cleaning your car, only thing I would change is to have the full power mode on first.
Battery life not too good but can buy bigger batteries that last longer apart from that a good wee hoover for the car.

Great vac. I have use it to cleaning after some DIY jobs done in home, also car cleaning inside and clean PC’s inside.
Battery life is good. Basically I have all tools from worx and can share battery if needed, this is great idea same battery for all tools.
Size and weight is perfect. Not too big, especially in car is helpful, can reach every space.
Suction power – what expect from this size and weight vac ? Of course will not pick up from floor 1 inch metal ball, but is more than enough to do some basic clean. Easy pick all little stones and sand from car floor or if You cut some wood is also pick up all dust.
full battery or below half charge, do not make any difference, suction is stays same, just when battery is empty it stops working, nothing like slowing down or loosing suction.
Works pretty much as expected, suction is ok for a small battery operated unit. And the battery has an inbuilt charge indicator I only just realised, which is useful. Downsides are 1. Neither of the two tools are well designed for vacuuming carpet, this is a big omission. I had to adapt an old nozzle from another vacuum to do this job. 2. Common with this type of design there is no “cyclone” action, so every single piece of dust gets sucked straight into the small filter, which very quickly clogs and reduces suction to almost nothing. So Every time I use it is have to take the filter out and clean it which is messy. Amazingly there is no other better option on the market that is this small and handy with a hose.
Great little machine. Not sure it is worth the money as I feel quit expensive. Great for getting in all those small spaces especially the car. Love the size so storage is easy. Good suction. Overall excellent.
I bought this for the car for which it’s ideally suited. It has a flexible hose with the accessories at the end so it’s easy to get to the little nooks and crannies, and it isn’t necessary to wield the whole machine about, as is the case with most other portable designs. The suction power is perfectly adequate for a general tidy up, but for cleaning the carpets it’s a bit of a chore (I these take these out and use the wife’s ‘beats as it sweeps as it cleans’ vacuum). It could do with a larger brush attachment; I use the one from an old ‘Henry’ together with an adaptor but it’s still not as thorough as the house vacuum. For a quick clean however it’s so much more convenient than an extension lead and the wife’s chunky machine designed for a house. The shape makes it neat and easy to store.
Great little hoover if you can’t get near a electricity source as it uses battery power. Bit on the pricey side but does the job well and is well made so should last a long time
Good compact design, so easy to store. Suction power is good and the tools, which fit into the case work well. Plenty of uses including dusting computer keyboards and other electronic equipment, inside the back of film cameras plus general use around home and car.
Lovely design, hose is held magnetically, tools clip into body, very neat design.
Suction is as good on high mode as a home vacuum cleaner.

Nice and easy to charge with the removable battery pack.
I am very impressed with the power of this little vacuum cleaner and as long as you don’t run full speed continually and only use it when you need it, I managed to vacuum out both of our cars on less than a whole battery charge. It is powerful when you ask it to be and pulls up dust and debris as quickly as our cord vacuum cleaner. There have been comments about the size of the dust container, but I am finding it’s capacity to be adequate and it is easy to empty.
Surprisingly it came with the Worx top 2 amp charger which charges a 2.0AH battery to full in a couple of hours. I am surprised because our Worx strimmer came with a 400 milliamp charger that took several hours to get to full charge, so having one of these fast charges for our Worx stable is a real bonus.
I can definitely recommend this for cleaning out cars and other small places, but this is not suitable for general household cleaning because of the lack of suitable Attachments. This last point is not a negative, it has its place with what it will clean and fits into that nicely with its portability.

I already had loads of Worx tools, and also batteries, so just waiting for a vacuum to come along. Great shape and size, with a couple tools built in to the unit. Easy to empty and clean out.

Brilliant in every room for those books and crannies. Drawers, skirting, kitchen, hob, drilling, DIY job cleanups.

I have a few worx items now and they are all good and being able to use the same batteries is also a huge benefit. In my experience battery powered car vacuums have been poor but this little device is genuinely really good, the key good points are :
– the suction is more than adequate
– it’s very lightweight
– the two attachments are really good especially the thin one which had a rubber end and so you can suck up bits of leaves etc along the window seal without worrying about scratching the car
– the button and mechanism to empty it works really well
– although it comes with the smaller capacity battery it has been more than enough to do both mine and my wife’s car
Cons
– not many but sometimes if you have the vacuum sat in the seat and are cleaning the floor , because the hose isn’t that long and the vacuum is very lite it can topple over
– I prefer a power switch where you can switch it back wards to turn off rather than cycle through the power options and then off
Compact, lightweight and powerfull even on low setting. Lasts for a good 25 minutes on low setting. Quick to charge up battery, approx an hou.r Even the kids enjoy using it to clean their bedrooms, which is a bonus. 10/10.
when using the extendable nozzle too much pressure can push the two parts back together, so be careful. However am pleased overall. Would recommend.
Solid construction. Replaceable battery that is of high quality. Very compact and easy to store. I’ve had a few small vacuums and a lot of them are poorly made but this is well made and well worth the money.
I was a bit skeptic all at first in how good this will be after trying other rechargeable/car hoovers. But this blows them out of the water! Genuinely impressed by this obviously not as good as a plug in but definitely does the job!! I would suggest getting spare batteries though if you’ve got a big job to do
This is quite a good piece of kit. During the EU era any decent level of suction was taboo; however, this little hoover doesn’t just make a noise, it actually collects dust and other debris. My household hoover, which is the size of a small bulldozer, doesn’t have half the puff. I haven’t experienced a flat battery, yet, but there’s plenty of charge to thoroughly clean a car and it’s ideal for hoovering carpet edges. Charging is quick (though, as said, I haven’t charged from flat). It’s well-designed and feels robust. The part which will see most action is the hose – it might pay in the longer term avoiding stretching it too much by keeping the unit in close proximity to the area being hoovered, whenever possible.
Reasonably easy to use – like the way the suction ube stows, not so ken on positioning of on-off switch and it would be nice to have a separate switch for high power – I often find myse;f turning it on again when I am trying to turn it off – but these are minor compaints
Brilliant for what I needed it for, daily cleaning of dark velvet sofa when I have children and cats. Super suction on even lowest setting, you don’t have to carry this all the time, hose is long enough so you can place down.
We are very impressed with this hand held vacuum cleaner. We’ve never had a hand held this powerful and it sucks up bits from all of our carpets really well. The battery lasts well too. It looks a bit odd and the on/off switch is a bit clumsy, but that’s a tiny criticism. This works very very well!
i bought it for the stairs, i hate doing the stairs with my up right vac, its hot and awkward.
this thing isn’t the strongest but a few passes gets the dust up.

It really does have good suction with low and high setting and, perfectly adequate for what I use it for. I would stress it’s not for heavy use and I use it mainly for clearing the mess around the cat’s food bowl. Also bread crumbs and other food deposits. I’ve not tried using it for a prolonged period but then I only intend to use it in quick bursts and saves me lugging out the bigger vacuum all the time. Very happy with my purchase.

Delighted with is compact cordless vacuum cleaner. I bought it initially to clean the car, yet I have found it useful to use around the house without getting my usual vacuum cleaner out. It is lightweight, two-power suction and emptying the dust out is easy. The battery life is good too. I would highly recommend this product.
Very happy with this as it is so convenient to use and has two suction settings and two tools. I gave a 4 for lightweight because it has some sturdiness to it, which is good. It’s not heavy. Great for getting into crannies.
Despite resembling a Borg spaceship, this is a very effective portable hoover. It’s not in the same league as my old Dyson that gave up the ghost recently but it’s definitely a more affordable alternative.
I prefer the charging system (a removable battery). There’s no need to attach it to a wall near a socket, so it can be hid easily when Picard pops in for a cup of tea.
This has been an absolute godsend with the kids. Suction is excellent and it’s great as a mini hoover. Not too heavy and has all the attachments. It’s also great for the stairs and the car. Highly recommend
I am an electrician and stumbled across worx by accident really, my erbauer drill charger stopped working and you can’t buy them anymore but after looking online I found that the worx charger is identical so ordered one and it works very well. This got me looking at the worx powershare range, not necessarily for work but to see what else they do. Found this vacuum, watched a couple of reviews on YouTube and ordered one.
I am blown away, the suction is great for the size and perfect for hoovering out the front of the van. Actually tried it out by hoovering the stair carpet at home first and very impressed. In fact it’s going in the van and if I do a small job where maybe I just have to drill a few holes and need to hoover the skirting board then I will use this and the Henry can stay in the van. Well impressed with the design and performance and quality. This would be perfect for someone who has a caravan or boat etc, because it’s small size makes it easy to store. Have already ordered the worx cordless buffer for polishing van and considering the hydroshot pressure washer too. V. Impressed!!!!
It cleans the car well but not of much use inside
Its a great unit – so far it does the job I wanted which is in the car. Attachments work well and the two speed suction is nice to have, although its always on full. Battery life seems good enough to run round the car. I also bought a second battery incase I needed a longer time.

This little baby does the job. It’s not a Dyson, it’s not a Hoover, it’s a little Worx hoover that does the job for what it’s meant for. I cleaned my car out with it, the first time in 10 years believe it or not, and it picked up every crumb and stone and hair. It’s not meant to suck a golf ball up a garden hose, but it does the job of light cleaning. Don’t moan about it if you bought it and you never read it’s specifications.
The GOOD the BAD and the UGLY.
..The Ugly: it’s not, its compact, modern and has a nice finish.
..The Bad: setting 01 is pants, doesn’t do much, but press the button a second time and its great. The battery isn’t great, only used it a few times and needed to charge it twice.
..The Good: It’s a great weight, shape and size. These only two attachments which I like, as I don’t need to find a place in a couple for bits of plastic I will never use. The bottom is completely plastic, so I can see any reason why I couldn’t place it on the floor outside.
Strange design when compared to others but you understand instantly when you need to get into a tight space. We reach for this little vacuum over our full size one for the small or high areas. The car is also cleaner than ever thanks to being much easier to keep on top rather than dedicating a few hours to cleaning.
Love the battery sharing with the other batteries we have.
Won’t replace our “big” hoover but a great little vacumn used for cleaning upholstery and mats in the car and for little messies around the house. So lightweight and easy to get into nooks and cranies with the on-board tools. The battery lasts well and re-charges quickly and it has two speeds for extra suction.
One thing that could be better is the chamber where the dirt collects is opaque so you have to guess when it is full and although easy to empty I usually end up having to fish out some dust stuck to the filter by hand (although used to this as exactly the same with my main Dyson hoover so not a big problem).
Very powerful handheld vac. Even on low power it does a magnificent job of getting those pesky crumbs up. It is also very good for the car, especially for use in a garage with no electrical point.

As with all of the worx products we have purchased so far, this is a really useful item. Its good to clear up small areas of mess taking away the need to get the big hoover out.

I really suggest this product. Everything is amazing with this vacuum cleaner. The battery can be changed/removed, almost 45 min without charge, it’s working. The vacuum is very strong. I don’t write reviews very often but I LOVE THIS VACUUM CLEANER.
Hoped batterie would have lasted longer on full power. Suction power on 1 speed not very good, 2nd speed works very well.
I bought this to replace a Dyson battery hand-held vac. This whole unit was about the same price as a replacement battery for the Dyson. So far, no-brainier.
I use it mostly for cleaning around the wood burner when getting rid of last night’s ashes. Suction on full power is superb but it drops away quite quickly when this fine ash clogs the filter. The filter is easily accessible but cleaning it is a bit of a faff, compared to the simple washable foam filter in the old Dyson.
For more standard jobs around the house or car, cleaning grit and fluff, this clever little stylish vac is unbeatable value.

Really neat bit of kit. Ideal for all those nooks and crannies that the usual hoover can’t reach. Good suction and easily charged. Once charged battery life is good. Although used only occasionally battery lasted a good 2-3 weeks before needing a recharge.
Much better than I expected, and really portable too. Glad I bought it.
All in all a very lightweight compact hoover, of which my single critisism is, that there could have been a thinner nozzle to get into the cavity between the seats and the central armrest.
But that aside i’m satisfied as the suction is excellent and the battery recharges very quickly.
On the point of pricing, I think this unit could fairly be 20 cheaper looking at the totality of the unit.
Bought this to vacuum the car as tired of fighting with a dyson hosed having to plug it in. It’s nicely made, extremely small (when one opens the box it doesn’t seem that it couldn’t possibly have enough power – but it does. On the higher suction setting it is very good. Very quiet. The tools are a great size for getting in to all the nooks and crannies and the battery when using on full power lasts about 15-20 mins which is enough to do one car thoroughly. The main benefits are it’s portability and flexibility.
Had expected the standard small portable vacuum but this is much better. It has two speeds and all the power that I need in a small package. Would recommend. I don’t know about battery life, I just charge it after every use.

Charges fast with great suction. I’ve used many different vacuum cleaners on my car in the past & I would say this product is one of the best results I have had. I have never used Worx products before but I would definitely recommend this
Bought to replace a wired BD model that although has been ok, it never really had much omph and took longer to unravel and then put away than the time cleaning the car.
This on the other hand is great on most fronts.
No cable to get in the way, no need to have the car engine running so more environmentally friendly.

I actually bought a 4AH battery as well incase I wanted extra time cleaning and it fits perfectly.
Overall really impressed, the only concern for me is the mechanism to empty the vacuum, seems quite stiff to open and some pressure is needed to close the flap which is made out of flimsy plastic and imho could easily be broken if not careful.
Apart from that it is otherwise we’ll designed and I like the fact the tools neatly store into the unit.

I have previously had Black and Decker and Hoover models and have been very disappointed with their performance.
I have just started using this one and so far I can’t fault it. It’s compact, easily transportable , suction is powerful even on the low setting and battery is excellent. So far have used it for about 20 minutes and it’s still going strong. I will update this once I have used it a bit more. I’m just so thankful to have found something that’s fit for purpose. It saves getting the big vacuum out which I’m finding quite difficult now due to health problems.
Liked the design of the lightweight vacuum that could be held in one hand while using the flexible hose with the other for ease of access to places like window frames and furniture surfaces. Gives very good dust removal, is easy to empty, good battery life with rapid and easy recharging
Looks good, feels well-made and does a reasonable job. The hose is a bonus over most alternatives though it does mean you can’t use it one-handed. Capacity isn’t brilliant but then again, what do you use a cordless hand-held for?
This is a great little vacuum cleaner. Fantastic for all those little jobs. Two levels of suction, obviously, on the higher level uses more power. The battery lasts about thirty minutes and charges in about forty minutes. I bought a spare battery so I’ve always got power.
I would add this is quite noisy so if you’re looking for something quiet, then this is probably not for you.
I was a little apprehensive if this would be powerful enough for my needs, but I’ve recently had to go from a large workshop to a tiny shed so needed something very small for quick clean up jobs, having already got a couple Worx 18/20V machines and batteries I bought the bare unit and must say I’m very impressed with it especially considering its size, a 2Ah battery sits well inside the confines of the unit while a 4ah battery sticks out by around 10mm but battery life appears very good so a 2ah battery is good enough for my use, emptying is also very easy, well please with it.
Other than that it is perfect for all my small DIY projects.
I drive a taxi and frequently need to vacuum the car. Definitely not as good as the 18v black and decker. The filter is extremely fiddly to clean and the hose is too short. Convenient if you have other worx products.
If you’re looking for a vac for a taxi get the black and decker 18v. The worx vac just isn’t as versatile although the removable battery makes it easy to keep fully charged as long as you buy a spare.
its lightweight and having the same battery as other worx devices makes it very useful, This means you are never without power.
Good piece of cleanup kit but had trouble making ‘one touch’ emptying button work and am concerned button will soon fail. Good size, suction, attachments. Useful for car.
Bought as I wanted small cordless vac for man cave and car and already have several Worx tools so have plenty of batteries. Buying Worx means I don’t have to bother with a different charger/battery. That said at 80, albeit with another charger and battery, for what it is I think it’s about 20 overpriced. Unit is small and so takes up no room on shelf or workbench. Doesn’t hold much but fine for my needs to tidy up after odd jobs. For bigger jobs I have mains wet/dry workshop vac but don’t always want the hassle of getting this out just for quick tidy up. If you have other Worx tools so have spare batteries then this is a handy addition to have.
Love this product, bought to clean the car .. both lightweight .. has an attached hose with attachments that can get into areas other car vacuum cleaners can’t get, the cordless aspect makes it ideal even those I wish the charge would last a little longer than 20 minutes on full powe
Great tool for little jobs like sucking up dust after or during drilling holes in the wall. I also is it with my small circular saw. Battery life is great but I empty it after each use as it’s so easy to empty.
Good little vacuum for size. Could do with larger dust carrier. Battery life good so far.
amazed at the quality of the design and build. This is ideal for the car, the filter after removal comes into two parts for easy cleaning, the nozel attachment extends to a slimmer shape for those awkward crevices. if treated properly its a little gem. yes you do have to touch the dirt to clean it out, but its your choice, how long this will last. would never attempt to clean the house with it that would be crazy, but for the price good value.
I have been using a standard Black & Decker cigarette lighter corded car vacuum for the last 15 years.
I am not fortunate enough to be able to use the normal house vacuum to clean the car, so these portable vacuums have been my solution for years.
The problem with those portable corded vacuums is that the power cables can get damaged over time due to cord wrapping and occasionally it can cause the main car battery to go flat too.
When the Worx WX030 vacuum popped up via a YouTube advert one day, I thought this looks pretty neat.
Its not a new idea, there many cordless vacuums on the market these days, but this little cube vacuum seems to be quite unique.
The size is very portable and light weight, whilst containing all the attachment tools within its body.
This means no extra bag to carry them in. The hose rests on top of the handle and is securely kept in place via a magnet attachment.
The battery attaches to the side and can be removed very easily with a click.
Overall the build quality is very good. It feels great to the hand when being held. The filters can be easily removed to be washed and cleaned
The suction of the unit on full power is very good indeed, and will do a good job in vacuuming the car. The amount of dirt and debris I sucked up from my car was impressive.
It has a large debris capacity with a one touch empty release.
By all means, it’s not perfect.
-The filter gets clogged pretty quickly and whilst most vacuums are pretty messy when emptying, this one is no different and some would say worse.
It really could benefit from a much better filter design where you don’t get too messy whilst emptying.
-The battery only last approx 20 mins on full power, whilst this is good enough for most applications and cars, it may not be enough run time for a large SUV or MPV vehicle. You can of course get another battery or if you have other Worx tools, the batteries are all swappable.
Although batteries aren’t cheap. Costing around 40 for a genuine and around 20 for generic copy.
-Its not cheap. Around 90 (at time of writing 04-07-20) for this unit with a battery and charger.
There are lots of other cheaper alternatives. This unit really falls into the novelty nice to have section.
Despite the flaws, would I recommend it? Oh yes I would.
Perfect if you have kids, it can be quickly used to clean up that odd crisps spill in the back of the car.
Even around the home, vacuuming the odd drawer or even your tool box.
Go on treat yourself. The suction is excellent, the build quality is great and it’s a joy to use.
Incredibly lightweight and fantastically portable.
Battery life has been surprisingly great (even on the high suction setting). Use case scenarios include; cleaning the car (no cables required), crumble collection in the kitchen and dust harvesting on DIY projects. Not cable means it can go easily anywhere and the swappable Worx batteries mean that should you run out of battery, you can quickly change.
Have already bought in the Worx system, so this was a no brainer.

Where it comes into it’s own is for the small jobs round the house such as a sofa or a bit of dust in the living room – rather than a big hoover for a small job.
Compact and good quality. It sits in the storage compartment of the car and works realy well.
Self contained little unit, everything fits neatltly into itself but has good sucktion for a small vac. Iv’e had the hand held dustbuster type before but they cant get into all the nooks and crannies in a car.
I’ve tried three different rechargeable vacuum cleaners now. The Worx WX030 has been by far the very best. It’s a fantastic little cleaner. Suction is great and the included tools are all that’s required for the kind of cleaning jobs I wanted this machine for. I love that the tools are all stored within the machine too.
I thoroughly recommend this cleaner. I think it’s a bargain at this price.
Not designed for “upright” use but some sort of extension tube would be a bonus.
Overall though I am impressed with its performance and recommend it.
Lightweight easy to use even a child can use it easier than getting the bigger hoover out if any spills like bits the dogs fetch in from the garden and its smaller than you think gets in all those awkward places with all those extra extention bits comes with the Hoover Sonia from Barry
Great little unit and use it all the time for cleaning up DIY and in the cars.
But if you use it on full power the battery life is not great. Maybe 15 minutes at the very max, less time to clearly notice less suction.
Have many Worx tools which do not quickly drain the battery but this vac appears to be one of those that do.
This isn’t mega powerful but it’s enough to be good. It’s flexible hose make it’s SO handy and it’s small and lightweight. I use it with DIY for dust and wood shavings pick up as the Dyson is a nightmare to properly clean. This is easy.
Overall I’d buy it. Handy for the car too.
Seen this advertised a lot. Needed something for cleaning the car which wasn’t like our main vac that needs plugging in and is a fiddle around to get out of the cupboard, plug in and use. Also need something for getting crumbs from down the sofa.
I was dubious of its suction power but when it arrived and I got it out of the box it was pretty good despite the battery not being fully charged. MAKE SURE YOU CHARGE FIRST! Because after fully charging it was really very very good. Much more powerful than I expected and definitely more powerful than you’d think for a vac this size.
In terms of size it’s as wide and tall as my average adult hand. It’s smaller than it looks on screen in the ads. It is therefore very very light.
The cleaning tools slide on top so there’s no chance of them falling out of the bottom.
It has a button you press and the bottom flips open and empties the dust out straight into the bin. No banging it on the bin lid.
Oh I forgot to say that when you first press the power button it comes on with good suction and when you press it a second time it’s on boost mode. Super suction. Will reduce its running time but you should get 58 mins from the included battery. Much less in boost mode and switching on and off all the time. able to clean your car fully with this.
The battery has lights on it so you can see how long is left on it. This is good for seeing how long you’ll have left before heading out to the car to start cleaning. The last thing you need is it running out after five mins.
This is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend. Anybody moaning about suction is clearly expecting way too much from a small device like this. But don’t let it fool you. It’ll do most cleaning jobs quickly with power and empty easily afterwards. We have still kept our main hoover for the big jobs but this vac is great for 95% of other jobs. Love it. I also use it on our blinds. I hate using dusters. It makes the job so easy! Recommended
A useful addition if you already have Worx equipment so extra batteries are available if required.
Love how all the attachments compact and store down into the body of the vac. Also love the one touch empty system, no bags, no mess!
