Very easy to use people complain about about the safety catch but it doesn’t bother me I’ve found it very easy to cut a straight line and it uses the same battery’s as my old erbouer drill which were sat about doing nothing so I’ve got 2 extra batterys
Added this to my Worx collection and have not been disappointed.
Must have tool if you like DIY. I’ve used to use cable ones but since I’ve got this baby life became a lot easier.
Cuts too shallow to be much use, given timber used is typically 47mm for many projects.
I had a project that required trimming lots of tongue & grove sheets. The compact circular saw performed faultlessly. Unlike my jigsaw, it naturally wants to cut a straight line and is easier to control than a full-size circular saw.
Ideal for cutting large or small panels or lengths of timber as long as its no thicker than 26mm. Easy to use and requires no physical effort.
I liked the weight and ease of use, I used it to cut 9mm ply to build drawer units then trimmed them when they were too big.
This has very quickly become my preferred tool for cutting. Lightweight, easy to handle.
The only downside is that there isn’t a battery power indicator.
It’s just what it says on the box, I think the best thing I like about it was the option of paying in instalments which I’ve never seen before on Amazon so it’s a nice touch, will but other items as they all use the same battery
Really great tool, have used everyday since purchased. Used the tile blade for chasing out brickwork and wood blade for panelling (MDF) and putting Ply down (18mm) and it’s been great, however, you MUST buy a bigger battery as the thing will run out of juice really quickly. I would suggest a 4.5.
Great little saw. Easy to handle, I have not felt any kick back as you can get on a regular circular saw. I am very happy with it, ideal for diy use, might be bit weak for tradesman daily use. Was great cutting kitchen cupboard side panels, blade did not tear the finish just left nice smooth cut. Would buy again.
Not top spec as price would suggest but far more than just your average tool
More powerful than you might think, makes short work of cutting through wood (that’s all I have used it for so far). Depth gauge allows accurate cutting of flooring without risk of cutting any pipes/wires under! Well recommended!
Got this when fitting kitchen to cut sheets very impressed good quality and great value
Great little hand saw. The cordless power provides a nice biting point.
I am no DIYer but this helped me build my own cold frame for the garden.
Great purchase at a good price
Bought for DIY jobs, so far hasn’t let me down, cuts through 22mm chip board easily, used for on and off for a day on one battery charge.
I’ve used this saw on a number of projects and found it to be very useful, I have found that you need to make a slower cut than other circular saws I’ve had, if you go to quick the saw blade tends to stop turning
Battery life not the best but good for small jobs and fast charging
Got it for my husband’s bday he luv it and very useful without cable peace of mind
Power is awesome, battery life is good even from a 2Ah, stops instantly when trigger released, good LED.
Powerful little circular saw, so many uses. Could possibly do with a bit more depth of cut but it literally just cuts thru panels like butter with the correct blade in for the job.
Can be a bit long when in a tight space.
Battery life obvs depends on what battery, but no worse than a drill or impact driver.
Great compact saw.
Fantastic piece of kit. Very maneuverable and lightweight but sturdy.
Really really great tool, will cut through anything.
Have been using this now for a couple of home projects and this tool makes light work of cutting wood. The cut edge is really nice and smooth also.
Battery life is good. No complaints!! Will recommend!!!
hi, I am pleased with my Worx saw I very nearly didn’t buy as someone posted a review saying it couldn’t cut decking well it does. not tried on wet decking but on dry it cuts fine. see video. not easy to hold the phone and cut wood at the same time. only used it a couple of times just to test. I would say give it a try.
I was putting down some laminate flooring, and since the power was going to off in the house, i decided to go for one of these as i already had the batteries at home.
I have other mains powered tools that could have done the job if the electricity was on in the house, and i wasnt expecting much from this saw.
Wow i was amazed at how light this is and how easy it was to cut the laminate planks.
Once you get the hang of it, it does save a lot of time, no wires to move out the way and not restricted to be by a power outlet, extension cable.
Very impressed.
Tip, remember to press far enough down as you get started to ensure you get a proper cut at the beginning of the item you are cutting.
Had one of these for a few years now and it is a really useful little saw. It isn’t the deepest cutting or the most powerful, but its light, easy to use, accurate and really handy to have. Useful for light trimming of wood, plaster and woodwool boards, skirting etc. I have cut worktop and 25mm marine ply too. The worktop was slow and needed cut from both sides, but I’d managed it. Having had one, I wouldn’t be without it.
Slight update! I have finally used the diamond blade in this saw and was cutting through 25mm thick sandstone with ease. Not the fastest cut but clean and with very little dust. Also good for chasing into sandstone walls to run cables.
Very pleased with it . A Handy cordless saw with plenty of power.
Very good staff for home if you like to work your own hands, not noisy, accurate, manoeuvres.
Really easy to use, so light in comparison to wired saws, super easy to use, my only regret is I should have bought one ages ago. I also have other Worx tools that use the same battery system, great saw even if you don’t, a must have if you do.
Ideal for cutting up timber and tiles easy to use very versatile bit of kit.
Really handy little tool and blade is really sharp. Excellent.
Defo recommend this life saver. Great finish of wood cuts and cuts fine cuts where needed. It is accurate and not bad at all as some mentioned. I have even bought a replacement spare blade so a good investment. Thanks for the quick turnaround on both Amazon.
This is a very nice circular saw in the handling and grip department. however, the speed is not adequate for cutting wood.
Typical proper worx tool excellent build and really easy to use. One downside ,if like me you like to keep your stuff in the case supplied then you need to remove the blade every time or it doesn’t fit in the case.
Used a couple of times so far and very impressed. With the TCT blade cut wood, MDF, OSB, and kitchen worktop to various depth and it did it all easily – I’m impressed.
Love Worx as a brand and this does nothing but improve their reputation. The saw is easy to use, light, manoeverable, and will accurately attack any job you throw at it.
Watch out for small splinterschunks if wood fowling the inside of the blade, especially on thinslim cuts, otherwise it’s great…..
A great tool, light and easy to use. Makes a good clean cut, made light work of some sheets of 3/4″ ply and surprisingly easy to keep in a straight line
Got this to complement other Worx tools and just as good as the rest. Battery lasts forever and it cuts pretty much anything you throw in front of i
Quick set up but have to get an adapter for the dust extraction nozzle
Used it for chopping pallets, cutting chipboard and plywood. Very easy to use, cuts perfect.
Why didn’t I buy one of these earlier? Delivered today and I’ve used it all day, plenty of power to cut though a 38mm work top, hardly any chipping, easy to control and light. Made my day so much easier. I agree with the other review about having to remove the blade so it will fit back in the case, but it only takes a minute.
Plenty of power with a 4amp battery and last a good amount of time, used to cut plenty of 18mm ply and floorboards no to mention a couple of small trees maybe 100mm thick gets through everything just fine, will cut off if you twist it. The tile cutting blade worked great on some 900×900 11mm thick floor tiles small amount of chipping roughly a millimetre whilst cutting as you would expect with a slitted blade. Do like the brushless stuff they are selling also have the brushless impact driver that is awesome, might replace the old worx combi driver with a brushless next.
Exelent light saw, very versatile.
But what lightweight thought it was a good idea to supply a case that requires the blade to be removed every time to allow it to fit back in.
I like the size and quality.. did what I needed it to.
Simply better than I even expected, will be well used. Now looking for a range of blades to go with i
partner was delighted when it come since then it sat in box he will use it im sure just another gadge
Good quality long lasting battery and comes with a spare
I got this as a birthday gift, I primarily use it for chopping up wood for my log burner but have used it for diy jobs around the home, great for cutting skirting boards , floor boards but is limited on its depth, fairly powerful motor, even straining it doesn’t slow it down much. Only bad points is it doesn’t come with a charger but I managed to find an erbauer charger on screwfix that will charge the battery.
Great little product. Versatile, sturdy and easy to use. So convenient being cordless and good value with the three blades included.
very happy with this so far and never understand why i have not had one before now
I brought the saw to replace a chop saw the I paid many hundreds of pounds for and the works unit is as good if not better than my last saw this is worth its purchase price but if you need longer running buy the larger batter for the works unit.
Does what it says
Wife got it me for xmas and I love it. Great because it’s cordless.
Bought this item for a Christmas present (not myself). No issues as far as Im aware.
It takes a bit of getting used to the fact that you have to push the saw down to.the stop .to cut
You can’t lock the table and blade depth in the position and cut
But saying that it’s a great little saw
Very good as a Christmas present my u cle will love i
Not had a chance to use it yet but the only thing I would day is its a little pricey but not complaining happy with purchase.
Very good tool very easy to handle, if you are doing general d,i,y, round the home it is a very practical saw. I used it to trim 25mm off a stud wall when fitting wardrobe doors as the new ones were 20mm too big and it saved me a lot of time and hassle.
This is a great tool with great build quality, the only downfall is the instructions are not particularly good.
Useful for what I need it for. Do not expect it to cut anything thicker than the blade I have used it to cut thicker wood, IE cut one side then turn it over and cut from other side. But it does struggle with this but remember it is not designed to work like this. I only added this in in case other buyers were toying with the same idea…………….
Good tool. Small for carrying on the job. Worth the price tag
Bit difficult to see cutting blade but nevertheless a good bit of kit !
Excellent piece of kit, Use it for what it is intended and its brilliant.
I liked it because it cut stuff I used it to cut stuff
The saw itself i would say is pretty impressive but yes as suggested you need the upgraded battery as the one supplied is very poo
Received one for my birthday easy to use even one handed
Build solidly. Comes with three blades. The battery holds a solid charge and it cuts really well. Very happy with it. It ripped sheets of 20mm ply wood accurately and effortlessly. Easy and quick change of blades. Very happy
I love this saw it is brilliant in my opinion battery life good no effort is needed to saw, just let the saw do all the work
This is really great, great value for money will definitely recommend you
Bought for doing the decking cuts, works is still in progress but so far so good. Laser is good, definitely needed as otherwise difficult to see blade line.
Brilliant comes with case is easy to use and does the job
Performs well and gives a nice clean cut. Slightly bigger than I imagined from pictures on the web site.
Absolutely brilliant, lives up to the claims made. highly recommend.
This item was exactly what I wanted and does the the jobs perfectly. So glad I bought it.
This is such a useful little skill or circular saw. So good at ripping down big sheets to manageable size sheets ready for the table saw.
Great item if ever I needed another I will be ordering from same company
Nice and easy to use. I do wish it would tilt to 45 degrees angle, however its been really useful and easy to use and saw the heavy 19mm plywood sheets into smaller sizes so that I could carry them easily and store them indoors.
Great product. Works really well. Keep in mind it is not big. It is pretty effective
In a fond way I call it the little rascal. You just need to assess its size and know just how and things to use it on, and it will never disappoint.
Pleasantly surprised how well this wee saw cuts, good power output and battery lasts very well, easy to handle one handed and the laser is great so no real complaints just a pity it doesn’t have a deeper cut.
Great Product but the battery lets you down, very little staying power which comes as standard with the product. Needs higher powered battery otherwise great to use, lot better than heavy cumbersome Circular saw. It would be even better if it could come with rail platform to give accurate straight cuts.
I know it was a Christmas present from my better half but the power of TV advertising Worx for me in this instance as I saw it on Amazon at the lowest UK price and as it was in and out of stock quickly I grabbed at the chance of getting the order in.
Having tested it and found it to be quiet and smooth to operate with a nice travel case, I feel it is a great little product that I am sure I will make good use of it when the weather improves.
Seems a little under power but does the job we needed. Might look at getting a larger ah battery.
very good powerful saw only problem for me that is its awkward to operate the safety switch to start saw if the safety switch operated in the other direction would been an advantage for me that is
Brilliant tool – can confirm that this is the UK 3 pin versio
