This is one of those products that you don’t know you need until you have it.
My wife and I like to winter camp. We have a 7-berth tent for the two of us because of this, so we have the space in poor weather to still enjoy our time away, have space to cook, have a toilet etc. We’ve always used sanitiser for hands, and never even realised a product like this was possible.
It’s quite bulky to store in the off-season, which isn’t helpful, but also isn’t a reason for me to mark it down a star. Just be aware that it won’t “collapse down” easily. Because of this it’s a sturdy item, good quality, easy to clean down. Works effectively and is especially great for a sink wash in the morning when it’s raining and you don’t want to traipse to the toilet blocks.
Missing cap for tap but other than that I’m happy.
As a family, We used to rough it with the bare minimum of equipment, Which was fun but ended up being rather exhausting after making the food, Attending to the fire and dealing with the kids. Gadgets like these really make a huge difference in the quality of our camping experience, With most of the basic needs met, Allowing me to focus on good quality time with my family.
The camping sink feels solid and study but is very lightweight. Putting it together was easy enough and setup was done within minutes. The sink can hold a decent amount of water, Which makes brushing my teeth and washing my hair more comfortable in the cold, Brisk mornings. It can also attach via hose to a portable toilet, So the waster is reused and not wasted. Thumbs up from me.
We have friends we go camping with a handful of times a year and they camp much more often.
We decided to give this to them to try.
They said it made them feel posh. Having a proper sink while on the campsite was very useful and much better than having to use the caravan on campsite amenities.
Some parts are a little fiddly to put together but otherwise it’s ok.
They said they probably wouldn’t pay this much for the pleasure but if they had the money spare they might’ve been tempted.
