Microsoft are taking the absolute p*so I suggest changing to a ps5 and saving a complete fortune, 12 months changes to less than 4 months

My daughter uses her xbox every now and then – not enough to merit an ongoing subscription and I am not trusting her with any access to my card details on her account. This is much easier, safer and slightly cheaper – than the online monthly subscription with Microsoft themselves (6.99 per month) so I can highly recommend this for untrusting parents of a gen z teenager.

I play online with my mates everyday so Xbox Live Gold is totally worth it for me. Also you can’t buy a 12 month subscription on the Microsoft store anymore (I live in the UK so it might just be for the UK online store) so this is a good option to buy a 12 month sub

The code works fine – once you find it – but why oh why has amazon buried it in a place you can’t get to without digging through their support pages?? Ridiculous! I should be able to select the order in my main order list, and be taken to the manage downloads page automatically – not waste 30 minutes looking at YouTube videos and digging through support pages to get to my purchase!
So for that reason, I won’t be buying any more digital game stuff from Amazon.

Purchased for my grandson who was Fortnite mad at the time of purchase. Now he doesn’t play because some school bullies said only gay people play it.

The Xbox live 12 month Gold membership that I brought on the 03/11/2020 and activated on 26/12/2020 stopped working yesterday 08/08/2021
Im not interested in the ultimate plus, so gold does me just fine. Be warned. Anyone who has ultimate and buys this it will be converted to 4 months ultimate instead of gold. If you want the full 12 months gold wait till the ultimate runs out then use the code. The code has a expiration date of 12 months from the date of purchase. Hope this helps

This was so easy to buy and set up. I was a bit dubious to begin with but glad I bought it this way.
Ok just a heads up for the people that want to use Xbox Live Gold on their series x, now what happened with me is that I only wanted Xbox Live Gold to run for 12-months in order to do this you have to fully wait until your current membership fully runs out I had Game Pass ultimate and a couple of days before it ended I wanted to add a 12-month subscription and because the current subscription hasn’t ended everytime I punched in the code to get my 12-months it would try to convert it to 4 months of Game Pass ultimate which I don’t want, if you don’t want that don’t press the button to convert to Game Pass ultimate when it gives you the option just hit cancel and wait until your current membership of Game Pass ultimate ends. And then type in your code again for the 12-month subscription and now you’ll get the full 12-months displayed as a subscription option instead of them trying to give you you only 4 months of Game Pass ultimate because you haven’t actually finished the subscription that you’re on before you try to to add another one I hope this helps some people that that are unaware or are dealing with this issue, in terms of ordering the voucher from Amazon it was perfectly fine as you would expect you purchase the voucher it goes directly to your email in like 1-minute and then you just have the code displayed in your email which you can type out out onto the Microsoft store or through your Xbox, very simple and easy purchasing and receiving the code, just make sure you type all of the characters in the correct order, or it won’t accept the voucher.

So Microsoft in their infinite wisdom have decided that you cannot buy gold membership for a full year, and if you can it’s at a ridiculously inflated price than before. I can’t recall which one. This is exactly what I needed. Thank you.

Bought it few days ago as our membership expired. Just redeemed code as explained on the email sent by amazon after purchase. I have encountered to issues. Great price if compared with xbox prices.
