Bought one and went down so good that someone else wanted one

This is the first drawing tablet I have used. I struggle with using illustrator on my laptop. Mastering control of the tools has been tiresome and it was suggested I might get on better with a drawing tablet. It was at the top of my budget for a new piece of untested equipment 249, before 30 discount offer (thankyou – very nice), so 219. After a bit if research, I worked out I definitely would be more accurate faster with a tablet that duplicated my program image rather than a blank tablet, which would certainly require more hand I co-oordination than I have patience for, especially on detailed work. Best decision made in my book. I have only tried out for a few hours but so far very impressed. I am sure higher budgeted models and brands must be amazing, but this seems to be all I need for my illustration work at this time. Very simple to set up. I have a old laptop with MS windows 7, and use old Adobe Illustrator CS program. I was concerned initially that a new gadget probably would not be compatible, but as this xp-pen said okay for 7,8,9,10 versions, I thought it would be worth trying. It worked instantly without downloading additional drivers, but I did download a newer version off their website when I could not locate the pen tablet setting box to configure my preset buttons. Once downloaded newer version all appeared as it should. Still learning control but all is very comfortable. The screen 11″ size was another factor I am glad I went for. If I could afford to go bigger I would, but this for me is the minimum workable size. Eying off the 24″ when upgrade time comes. Screen colour is good. The pen is very nice. I read about people saying had to be careful with and I would not want to drop it for fear of damage. Replacements are@ 25, so annoying but not the end of the world. It comes with a stand, which I find the texture of quite rough. I think it could be abrasive on the tablet back if you keep putting on and off in due course. I use a fold away adjustable one from amazon I actually bought for laptop, and sit laptop in the xp-pen one. I can then adjust my working angle to suit. I have ordered screen protectors as I think the screen contact with pen will eventually leave marks, just from repeated actions. Currently left the initial packaging protector on while I practice. This model must be connected to laptop to operate. Some makes and models are compatible with Android (not this one), so if being mobile is important, you would require a different tablet. As my illustrator only works on this laptop, being portable was not a consideration for me. The only peeve I have discovered in this short time is the 3 to 1 hmdi/usb leads. You need all to be engaged or functionality is effected – IE pen does not work black usb is disconnected, so it has used up all my portals – hence the 4 star rating. Not a big deal, but a little annoying for me as I can’t use my mouse on laptop. Probably not a issue on a newer laptop. Mine is 8+ years old. Aside from that, for price point it appears to deliver everything I need it to for my digital artwork. Highly recommended.

Great device, easy to setup when connected to my Windows 10 laptop. Good value for money given the accessories which include the angled stand, artist glove and pen holder. Now following some YouTube tutorials to get the best out of drawing with Adobe Photoshop.

I got it on sale and I’d say it’s worth it! The screen is great with a really good colour range, etc. Drawing on it is smooth and very accurate.
My only issue is that the driver stops working after I shut down my PC for the night and switch it back on when I’m using it again. I have to keep reinstalling the driver and it’s easy enough to do, but that means I can’t assign any buttons on the tablet because they’ll always be reset upon reinstallation. It might just be an XP Pen thing, but it can get annoying.

Apesar de ser a minha primeira mesa digital deste genero, a diferena enorme para a outra que tinha.
Yo vengo de trabajar de una tableta grfica y de un iPad Pro, pero decid evolucionar a esta herramienta debido a que por mi profesin (Diseo Grfico) utilizo todo el da la suite de Adobe (Principalmente Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AE) y funciona al 100%.
La mica tiene un tacto suave un poquito similar a la textura del papel bond.
Lo nico que veo medio mal, es la base incluida, pero nada que unos libros no levanten y lo dejen en el ngulo que tu necesites .
Ah y por ltimo, es super fcil de configurar, no hagan caso a los que dicen que tiene un desfase grande, el problema normalmente radica en que el usuario hace mal la calibracin. Yo te recomiendo que primero pruebes la tableta antes de ir a la opcin calibrar. 100% recomendado!!

Installation und Anschlu waren relativ problemlos. Die Nutzung / Softwareabstimmung mit KRITA war ebenfalls leicht.
Eine leichte Zeitverzgerung zwischen der Strichfhrung und der Darstellung der Linie ist am Anfang etwas ungewohnt, aber man gewhnt sich rasch daran und nimmt sie irgendwann nicht mehr wahr.
Nach einigen Monaten wurde die Bildschirmoberflche durch die Nutzung mit dem Stift etwas rauh. Dies merkte man zwar nicht unbedingt beim Betrachten des Bildschirms aber die lokal unterschiedliche Reibung des Stiftes auf dem Bildschirm war deutlich zu spren und strte beim Malen. Es war nun schwer eine passende Panzerglasfolie zu finden. Eine “normale” Schutzfolie habe ich erst gar nicht versucht da ich davon ausging, dass sich bei eienr weichen Oberflceh nach krzester Zeit das gleiche Problem einstellt.
Nach einiger Recherche nach einem 16:9 Bildschirm fand ich die Folie fr das Produkt Chuwi UBook (11,6″) und habe es mal “auf gut Glck” bestellt. Die Folie passt recht gut auf den Bildschirm des X-Pen. Tabletts. Der aktive Bereich der zum Malen genutz wird wird vollstndig abgedeckt. Lediglich ca. 5 mm umlaufend am Rand der Scheibe werden nicht abgedeckt. Das ist jedoch unerheblich, da dieser Bereich auerhalb des Bildschirms liegt und nicht zum Malen genutzt wird. Auch das kleine Loch das eigentlich fr die Kamera vorgesehen ist liegt auerhalb des aktiven Bildschirms und strt nicht besonders.
Fr die Panzerglasfolie habe ich eine separate Rezession erstellt.
Dopo averla usata per diversi giorni penso di poter dire che questa tavoletta fantastica. Purtroppo non sono ancora riuscita a capire come collegarla al computer fisso (forse ho un modello troppo vecchio, non saprei), ma con il portatile non mi ha dato nessun problema. Il sito ufficiale del produttore permette di scaricare gratuitamente il programma necessario per collegare il PC alla tavoletta e le istruzioni presenti nell’apposito libretto sono molto chiare. Nella tavoletta sono presenti alcuni pulsanti rapidi che possono essere personalizzati a proprio piacimento, mentre nella penna sono presenti due pulsanti utili per selezionare rapidamente la gomma (se ritenuti fastidiosi si possono disattivare tranquillamente). Lo schermo molto sensibile, il che lo rende ideale per il disegno. Per chi non avesse mai disegnato su una tavoletta grafica, sottolineo il vantaggio di poter cancellare in continuazione dei punti precisissimi che vogliamo correggere e il fatto di non rovinare il foglio a causa delle continue cancellature. In ogni caso, su internet possibile trovare molti programmi da disegno che possono dare il massimo con la tavoletta. Per i mancini c’ un piccolo problema nella visualizzazione dello schermo in quanto, sebbene la tavoletta possa essere ruotata tranquillamente tramite le impostazioni, quando la tavoletta viene capovolta ruota anche la schermata del PC che di conseguenza proietta il disegno capovolto. In realt si tratta di un difetto trascurabile poich chi usa la tavoletta guarda esclusivamente la tavoletta (il cui disegno viene visualizzato correttamente) quindi la visualizzazione nel PC irrilevante, ma ho cmq voluto sottolinearlo per evitare brutte sorprese.
There is a learning process for getting it to incorporate with my classroom computer and the projector, but I think I have finally figured it out! With kids in class and learning at home this will be a great addition!
Definitely worth it if you’re looking to move into digital art. I got exactly what I was looking for. Hell, I got exactly what was advertised. It works great and I’m enjoying every bit of it. No complaints from me. Lol

The artist in my house loves this device. They prefer this to the 2019 IPAD pro with Procreate installed. This tablet has worked well for almost 2 years now.
I use this solely for my business needs and it is great for graphics design, for those times where I have to illustrate, and for times where I need to plan and quickly sketch design ideas.
The pen pressure feels good, the pen nib feels okay against the screen and the monitor device doesn’t appear to get hot at all.
The stand is not very sturdy however.
Screen quality is good.
i got this to work on getting in to texture mods and stuff and i have to say i like this verry much that i may go and buy a second soon for my other pc

I find this tablet as being excellent value for money. I previously used a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet (no LCD screen, same size as my new XPPen)
I bought the Wacom second hand and it cost me more than the price of the new XPPen (with LCD screen). Also the express keys and wheel are much easier to use on XPPen in my opinion. It’s excellent for me for graphics design work. I enjoy it so much that I plan to buy a bigger size XPPen in the future.
Normalmente non lascio valutazioni a caldo, ma ci passa un po di tempo per testare bene il prodotto. Devo dire che sono pienamente soddisfatto, la prima volta con una tavoletta grafica a di questo genere, ma il prezzo e quello che ti offre non regge confronto. Principalmente faccio grafica web, quindi un utilizzo diverso dall’uso per cui vikene generalmente acquistata, cio illustrazione e disegno.
La tavoletta arriva in una confezione molto bella. E’ super accessoriata, funziona con o senza alimentatore esterno (se il tuo pc sopporta il carico sulle USB), ha incluso il supporto inclinato incluso, contiene inoltre prolunga USB, guanto, panno, astuccio porta penna molto stiloso con tanto di punte di ricambio. LA tavoletta adatta anche ad un uso professionale, precisa, comoda e maneggevole. Il formato 12 pollici un ottimo compromesso fra portatilit e praticit, devo dire che riesco a lavorarci alla grande.
Sembra un prodotto di ottima fattura, aggiorner la recensione in futuro se ci saranno sorprese, ma vista la qualit mi aspetto una vita duratura.
Compared to something like a Cintiq the price that I paid for this was completely worth it. I use this tablet primarily for 3D design and it works wonders for what I do.
The colours and brightness of the screen coupled with the Matte screen allows me to work without any issue when doing colour work, whether it’s at night or during the day.
The pen itself works nicely for any sort of photoshop work, or sculpting but I haven’t used it too much for sketching. Overall set up is pretty easy with it using just one USB-C port that I can just unplug whenever I want allowing me to pack away the tablet into the drawer.

Je cherchais une tablette graphique qui coutait environ dans les 200 euros, et celle ci est clairement la meilleure que j’ai pu trouv a ce prix ! Les couleurs de l’cran sonts vives, le stylet est prcis et ractif et le tout tait bien emball. je n’ai pas vraiment trouv de dfaut a cette tablette. Si vous cherchez une bonne tablette aux alentours des 200 euros je vous recommande cette xp pen !
Premetto che la mia prima tavoletta grafica e che non sono un professionista n per quanto riguarda la fotografia n per quanto riguarda la computer graphic o il fotoritocco. Detto ci per la mia esperienza d’uso la tavoletta veramente divertente e ben funzionante e permette di fare cose (con Gimp o con Photoshop) che altrimenti non sarei mai riuscito a fare. L’installazione stata molto semplice (basta inserire il cavo hdmi + le 2 USB nel PC e la USB type C nella tavoletta DOPO che si sono scaricati ed installati i driver della stessa dal sito ufficiale). Il mio portatile piuttosto datato ma non ha avuto problemi di sorta nel “reggere” la tavoletta: non ho nemmeno avuto bisogno di usare l’alimentazione esterna (cmq fornita nella scatola). Anche la penna, infine, comoda e leggera e la sensazione d’uso abbastanza simile a quella di una matita su carta. Nel complesso, almeno al momento, sono soddisfatto dell’acquisto.

I love my XP Pen Artist Pro 12. It’s exactly what I wanted and needed.
This tablet is literally my pride and joy I don’t know what I would do without it. Unfortunately, I had to return mine after a few months due to screen issues but the company was quick to offer me a replacement, I’ve had my new one for months and it works amazing! My only issue with it is the colours are a bit off compared to the computer screen no matter how much you change it but you can get it to a point where it’s accurate enough to work well. Comes with tablet glove, pen pressure is perfect and doesn’t get to heated and slow when using it.

Thought I would treat myself to a new gadget for my birthday as lockdown sucks, been working through all of the lockdowns and didn’t get to see any of my family or loved ones, so thought I deserved a treat :p
This is my first drawing tablet and I must say, I was not disappointed! I am so glad I never went with a non-screen drawing tablet as I originally planned as I would’ve been missing out!
Arrived next day (A day early) Great display, I have only used it with AutoDesk Sketchbook and Paint 3D so far, I am using this with Lenovo V15 windows 10 15.6″ laptop, tablets acts as a mirror screen to my laptop and I can navigate my laptop easily with the pen and tablet. You can easily draw and create anything your imagination can come up with.
Took me a while to decide what tablet to choose, it can be quite overwhelming as a newbie to drawing tablets, I looked at many other brands including the non-Pro Artist 12, but I went with the XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro as the reviews were better in comparison. I have been using it constantly for a week now and have had no problems with it, takes a while to get used to (which I am still doing and learning what it can do). The 11.6″ screen surface has no scratches or marks on it after using it constantly for a week, which I was concerned about as others have said in reviews that their screens were showing wear after a week or so. Nice big clear screen to work with.
– Portable stand — Plastic but sturdy, tilting the tablet helps (reduces neck pain from hunching over)
– XP Pen – Stylus pen, holder with 8 spare nibs.
– Cleaning cloth — good size and we like to keep the screen clean and pretty!
– Drawing glove — great added extra as helps your hand glide over the screen making smoother drawing lines and helps keep screen clean from oil from skin and hand prints.
Setup was easy, no instructions needed to download drivers just go to the website and find the one for your system (mine was windows 10 64bit), few clicks later boom, done!
Set up guide included (which tells you where what USB/HDMI wires go where (but again easy to do)
My tablet did work with basic functions out of the box (move cursor and click on stuff, maybe draw a few lines in paint or sketchbook) but do install software from XP website to use it to its full potential and access the pen and tablet settings so you can do everything with it and collaborate the pen and customise your 8 short keys and dial.
Pen is quite accurate and no lag as far as I am aware. You can collaborate the pen in settings if the cursor does not line up with the pen.
Easy to customize function/shortcut buttons and dial.
Colours slightly darker on tablet than laptop screen, but I think you can adjust tablet contrast etc. in settings? (I haven’t tried to yet).
I can power the tablet from my laptop, I haven’t had to plug it into the mains/wall socket.
Can trace drawings/letterings etc. stylus still works through the paper (tried this to test it works as people have asked the questions before)

Overall I am extremely pleased with it and it has exceeded my expectations. I am like a kid with a new toy at Christmas 🙂

Bought for 9 yr old he has used it and enjoys it , seems to be able to work it easily enough , it’s not a toy though and u have to make sure pen is looked after or whole thing wouldn’t work
Works great so far. We have had to call tech support so I can’t speak for that but my 13 er old son loves it.
Excellent product for the price. Had everything up and running within 10 mins of setup. Handles pen pressure perfectly and works on all my programs like ClipStudio and PAINTTOOLSAI. included stand is good, but if you want a steeper angle you will need to invest in another stand.

Am unfortunately returning mine as it has a small scratch on the display which was very easy to miss to very annoying once it has been noticed. Would have preferred to exchange it but unfortunately amazon only allows return so will now have to pay postage.

Es ist als Anfnger-Grafiktablet absolut ausreichend. Bei der Bedienung muss man sie bei allen , neuen , technischen Gerten Geduld haben, bis man alle Funktionen herausgefunden hat. Die Farben sind toll ud die Farbpalette sehr gro. Es gibt tolle Bilder.

This pad is excellent. Bought it for my husband in February or so, and he’s used it almost everyday since. He loves it! It’s great for clip studio paint, and the display is nice and bright. If you’re starting out as a digital artist, it a good price for the hardware as opposed to a Cintique

Excelente acabado, fcil de instalar y usar. Funciona a la perfeccin y es un brinco recomendado de las tablas normales a las tablas con display. A mi ya me est redituando.
Equivalente di una tavoletta wacom dal triplo del costo, punti di pressione altissimi, il drive semplice da installare.
Great product! Did my research for a drawing tablet and this one is a keeper! Very responsive and just as good as the expensive wacom and huion counterparts. For advanced artist and beginners alike this tablet is a must have if you do not own a drawing tablet yet. Don’t buy one without a screen display if you want to draw decently
