Anteriormente dibujaba en una wacom cintiq24, la xpen artist 22r pro ha sido un gran descubrimiento calidad-precio. El lpiz se siente muy preciso y la medida de la pantalla esta genial si trabajas en programas d ilustracin/animacion2d… Los botones laterales en la pantalla son muy cmodos para trabajar de forma ms hagil.Hace 4 meses que la tengo de momento no encontr problemas.
Cette tablette de qualit professionnelle est vraiment superbe. L’cran 22 pouces (21,5) est gnreux, les couleurs parfaitement ajustes. Moins chre que les Wacom du mme calibre et tout aussi excellent, pouvant largement rivaliser avec.
Marche parfaitement sur mon Mac mini M1 via connection USB C – USB C. Pilote tlcharger sur le site Xp-Pen + Bonus, un code d’activation pour un logiciel partenaire.
Le stylet rpond trs bien, sans latence marque. Il est aussi bon que celui des Wacom en plus fin et maniable.

Scenario
Cardiac image analysis for clinical and research application at an imaging core-lab in London.
Design and Connectivity
The imaging tablet is large with a 21.5 inch screen — big enough to compete and retire the standard monitors we have in the office. The benefits of a screen of this size are hard to explain without viewing it in person — the real estate afforded by such a large display makes multitasking so much easier and really allows us to view medical images without squeezing them into small spaces. This is likely to improve quality and accuracy of analysis.
The large tablet has a built in angle-adjustment mechanism which is really thoughtful ergonomically and allows detailed adjustment to find the most comfortable position.
The connectivity options are straightforward out of the box — 3 wires to connect to power, the computer and the HDMI for the computer. On first connection, the HDMI immediately detects the monitor as a screen — downloading the driver and installing it from the XP-Pen website took less than 1 minute and allows the pen input to be detected on screen. We were up and running in literally under 2 minutes on a Windows 10 machine. For comparison, we tried it with a MacOS laptop and it was again instantaneous. The tablet also works with a USB-C to USB-C input for a cleaner, less cluttered desktop experience which is excellent if your computer has USB-C and you don’t need to fiddle with the HDMI input. The great thing here is XP-Pen include this in the box so you don’t need to go digging around for additional cables as it is available out of the box.
The software is quite well thought out and allows the incredibly useful re-mapping of the 20 shortcut keys and the two dials (including individually within specific applications) to really make the tablet your own and make your workflow efficient by adding keystroke combinations to shortcuts.
Image Quality
The 22R Pro has excellent image quality supporting a high contrast ratio of 1000:1 at full HD at a 16:9 aspect ratio and covers a wide 120% sRGB coverage. The tablet comes with an applied anti-glare screen protector from the factory — noticeably this is of a much higher quality than usual, not only reducing glare but significantly preventing hand smudges from frequent use. The viewing angles are excellent and actually significantly better than the LCD monitors at our office by Acer and Dell, suggesting an excellent use of components. The viewing angles are a key factor here because as anyone who has worked on monitors like this is aware, slight adjustments in neck and back and seating posture can really impact how the screen looks and workflows — lower quality displays are far too rigid in this respect and in our experience these inevitably lead to neck and back discomfort because you have to hold yourself in a particular position to view the image. The brightness and contrast are adjustable as expected but the default factory settings here were sufficient for us to view our medical images sharply for analysis. Overall we were very impressed with the product.
Stylus
The stylus is an improvement from previous models being battery-free and is far superior to lower quality competitors in the market, that is definitely noticeable on first use. This, paired with the outstanding image quality, makes drawing much more accurate and fluid.
The drawing overall feels fast, fluid and precise with a low response time and high degree of precision. The software allows recalibration very easily but we used it on factory settings out of the box and found the pre-calibrated settings to already be incredibly precise. The size of the drawing surface combined with this degree of precision allowed us to draw much finer details than we have ever been able to in the past. As our work heavily depends on being precise, the Artist 22R Pro has found a central place in our workflow for detailed image analysis.
Final thoughts
After using the this tablet heavily for three weeks as a daily work-horse for cardiac image analysis, it is evident that the designers of this tablet had a clear understanding of what needed to be done for their users to feel the most comfort when drawing on their tablets. There is evidence of clear attention to detail for a professional user in all aspects of this tablet — the screen protector applied at the factory is not only high quality and oil-resistant but has a wonderful texture that feels like one is drawing on paper, not glass. For analysts who are working 8 hours in repeated shifts this is a massively thoughtful inclusion. The height adjustable stand makes the tablet really wonderful to use in long sessions. The hand glove that comes with the tablet is another accessory that has added to the already ergonomically well-designed tablet as it makes drawing much smoother and more comfortable. This is clearly a quality product that will be worked hard through a busy clinical department and we are entirely confident it will fit for purpose for years. We have previously used the older generation XP Pen Artist 16 from 2018 and it is still going strong after years of heavy use, while our experience with alternatives has been very poor with pixel failures or pen breakages after a few months. This tablet is a massive step forward from the older model we have in every conceivable way and the company deserves credit for delivering such an outstanding professional product which we can wholeheartedly recommend — especially to any group looking for a tablet for medical image analysis.
Been using this for a few weeks now and it’s great. So much better than my old screenless. Im left handed and the buttons on both side are great. It’s just a shame that I have to remap some of the buttons every time. The pen is comfy and I like the glove thing, I’ve sort of worn out the glove already though. Overall this is great if your going profesjonal but I’d recommend something a little cheaper for people starting out.
Ich habe den XP-PEN Artist 22R Pro “auf Verdacht” gekauft, in der Hoffnung, dass er vielleicht doch kann, was hier nicht in der Artikel-Beschreibung steht. Und ja….. wenn man sich etwas mit PC Einstellungen auskennt, dann kann er tatschlich auch mit einer Auflsung von 3840×2160 arbeiten. Und.. was mich ganz besonders freut – nicht nur den Hauptbildschirm spiegeln, sondern er kommt auch mit Monitor2 zurecht und der Stift spricht dann dort an.
Als Tipp kann ich vielleicht noch erwhnen, dass es eine Frage der Reihenfolge der Einstellungen ist, ob der Monitor das Signal des PCs erkennt und wie man im Endeffekt zur 4K Auflsung kommt.
Also wie schon im Titel gesagt: Nicht wie beschrieben! BESSER!
La sensacin de uso y las caractersticas de esta tableta son las propias de tabletas que suelen costar casi el doble, en mi opinin esta es la mejor para diseo en relacin calidad-precio actualmente.
Adems, el producto lleg incluso un da antes de lo esperado.

Ich schreibe meine Rezession fr Leute die ist vllt vorwiegend in Blender benutzen mchten. Der Inhalt der mitgelieferten Stifte ect. ist fr den Preis sehr ordentlich siehe Produktbeschreibung. Das mitgelieferte USB-C Kabel finde ich ist leider sehr kurz. Werde mir eine Verlngerung zulegen mssen,da ich nicht stndig am Pc sitzen mchte und das Tablet auch mal auf den Sofa ausprobieren will. Ansonsten erfllt es voll und ganz seinen Zweck. Ich habe mir das 22R deswegen zugelegt, da es seitliche Tasten besitzt und ich pershnlich ohne diese meine Programme schwerer nutzen knnte. Daher wrde ich jedem empfehlen, dieses Modell zu holen, egal ob man modeliert, animiert oder sculpten mchte. Man kann seine Tasten beliebig einstellen und das Profil auf dem Rechner speichern und somit egal was man macht das dementsprechende Profil wieder laden.
Fr Anfnger und Fortgeschrittene eine tolle Investition. Ich liebe es, Darauf zu zeichnen. Vor allen das Rad ist einfach unbezahlbar, fr einen angenehmen Workflow.
I have been using a Surface Pro as a Pen Display for the last couple of years, and I worried a bit about the lack of touch function in this tablet. Truth is, with all the customizable buttons and the two wheels, I don’t miss the touch function.
Even though I prefer the Surface Pro 3:2 format to the 16:9 and the superior DPI, the XP-PEN 22R Pro screen is big enough to compensate for that, and the matte finish in the display makes for a better drawing experience if you work in a well-illuminated environment.
They are kind enough to include the glove to rest your hand against the screen, and a spare pen with extra nibs inside a protective cylinder. The pen is passive, which means you don’t have to worry about recharging it, or having to replace a difficult-to-find battery (Surface Pen’s AAAA batteries are a pain to find).
The pen has a very good sensitivity, detects tilt, and has a good amount of drag on the screen, but not too much. definitely more drag than the Apple Pen in the iPad Pro, and about the same drag as the “HB” tip on the Surface Pen.
The colours look well in the screen, probably not as well as on the Surface Pro display, but good enough for drawing (advanced or professional photo editing or publishing might require more, but I think this should be enough for 90%+ of the users).

Vendue ici 739 euros, la XP-Pen 22R Pro prsente, je crois, le meilleur rapport qualit-prix sur le march. Mais 739 euros, a reste une somme… Grce au black friday, j’ai pu la commander pour seulement 591 euros.
3/ Ce que la 22R Pro apporte de plus par rapport la Artist 12 Pro (que je possde par ailleurs)
Une zone d’affichage beaucoup plus grande, 4 fois plus de raccourcis, une roulette en plus. Certains se sentent plus l’aise avec des formats “medium”, par exemple 15 pouces. C’est selon la sensibilit de chacun. Personnellement j’apprcie de pouvoir utiliser la fois une tablette 12 pouces en dplacement et une tablette 22 pouces chez moi. Du tout petit pour bouger, du trs grand domicile.
4/ L’cran entirement lamin rend le parallaxe quasi inexistant et bnficie galement d’un traitement anti-rayures trs apprciable
5/ L’installation est extrmement simple, que ce soit sur Windows ou Linux (il en est trs certainement de mme sur MacOS) et j’utilise le mme pilote pour mes trois tablettes (Star 03, Artist 12 Pro, Artist 22R Pro)
6/ Il est important de comprendre que certes, le simple fait d’utiliser une tablette ne fera pas de vous un meilleur artiste. Mais utiliser une gomme non plus… La question se poser c’est : “est-ce que cet outil me permettrait de surmonter ces obstacles qui ralentissent ma progression ?”. Il ne faut pas comprendre obstacles et difficult. Une difficult, quand on la surmonte, devient un enseignement. Bien marier les couleurs peut par exemple reprsenter une difficult. Un obstacle, en revanche, n’apporte rien du tout. Perdre trois heures corriger un mauvais choix de couleurs, ou devoir racheter des toiles parce qu’on ne parvient pas rattraper les prcdentes, a prend du temps, a dcourage, a fatigue, et a reprsente donc un obstacle qui ne vous enseigne qu’une seule chose que vous saviez dj : quand on se plante, c’est pnible, surtout s’il faut attendre le week-end suivant ou les prochains congs pour s’y remettre.
Donc mon conseil final, le voici : si vous voulez utiliser une tablette cran mais que vous avez un petit budget et/ou que vous souhaitez pouvoir l’utiliser en dplacement (peut-tre pas dans un bar mais chez un ami, la fac ou dans un htel, que sais-je), optez pour la Artist 12 pro qui fait le job merveille. Si vous avez un peu plus de ct et que vous voulez accrotre votre confort d’utilisation et ainsi diminuer encore plus votre aversion au risque, la nouveaut, l’exprimentation, optez pour le 22R Pro. Si vos ressources ne vous le permettent et/ou si pour quelque raison que ce soit vous tes plus l’aise avec les tablettes sans cran et surtout si votre lieu de vie vous permet de dessiner dans de bonnes conditions (c’est–dire sur une surface plane, confortablement assis bien devant son cran), alors vous pouvez essayer une des tablettes sans cran de XP-Pen (j’ai t pour ma part trs satisfait de ma XP-Pen star 03 V2).
Verpackung:
Das Gert war sicher und platzsparend verpackt. Auen befand sich der groe Amazon-Karton. Innen ein kleinerer mit Produktlabel und in diesen kleineren hinter Polstern versteckt die Originalverpackung des Grafiktablets.
Das Auspacken war unkompliziert und ging schnell.
Zu dem Gert lag ein Zettel bei, der beschreibt, wo man die passenden Treiber finden kann. Eine Treiber-CD lag nicht bei, was aus meiner Sicht gut ist. Heutzutage sind Treiber-CDs oftmals bereits beim Ausliefern veraltet und daher eher eine Belastung fr die Umwelt als ntzlich.
Wie sieht das Gert aus:
Der Standfu ist bereits im Tablet integriert und lsst sich solide verstellen. Das Display steht rutschfrei und standfest. Es wackelt nicht. Lediglich das stufenlose Einstellen hakelt etwas, das ist aber kaum der Rede wert.
Insgesamt sind zwei Folien angebracht: Eine grobe Folie, welche man an einer markierten Stelle abziehen muss und eine mattierte Schutzfolie, welche sauber und grade ohne eingeschlossene Luftblasen angebracht ist. Dadurch muss man sich keine Sorgen um das Anbringen einer eigenen Schutzfolie machen und das Display ist sicher vor Kratzern sowohl beim Ausliefern als auch bei der Nutzung geschtzt.
Das Gehuse des Displays ist aus Plastik, wirkt aber insgesamt wertig verarbeitet. Es gibt keine scharfen Kanten. Sowohl auf der linken als auch auf der rechten Seite sind zehn programmierbare Tasten und jeweils ein Bedienrad angebracht. Dadurch ist das Gert sowohl fr Linkshnder als auch fr Rechtshnder geeignet.
Lieferumfang:
Wer keinen USB C Anschluss hat, ist beim Anschlieen des Tablets nicht im Nachteil: XP Pen liefert den Adapter mit! Dieser befindet sich bei den Kabeln. Ein Schraubenzieher liegt auerdem in der Packung bei, um den Stifthalter seitlich am Tablet anbringen zu knnen. Dies ist variabel auf der linken oder rechten Seite mglich. Zudem ist ein zweiter Stift mitgeliefert und Ersatzspitzen! Auerdem liegt ein Handschuh bei, mit dem man leichter ber das Display whrend der Bedienung wischen kann, allerdings nur in Gre S.
Installation:
Wie bei den meisten Tablets dieser Art muss dieses auch mit einem speziellen Kabel angeschlossen werden, welches gleich mehrere Anschlsse abdeckt. Einmal angeschlossen, kann das Display vom Rechner bereits ohne Treiber erkannt werden. Fr eine vollstndige Nutzung ist die Installation der Treiber zwingend notwendig.
Der Treiber lie sich problemlos und schnell downloaden und installieren. Da keine Anleitung zur Treibersoftware vorliegt, muss man auf intuitive Bedienung vertrauen. Anfangs mgen die Einstellungsmglichkeiten noch etwas kompliziert sein, vor allem das Einrichten der Express Keys. Man wird sich jedoch schnell reinfuchsen knnen! Nach der Installation des Treibers ist das Gert sofort einsatzbereit. Eventuell muss der PC einmal neugestartet werden.
Bedienung:
Die Kalibrierung des Pens ist einfach, unkompliziert und funktioniert sehr genau. Das schne ist, dass man bis zum uersten Bildschirmrand kalibrieren kann. Die Parallaxe-Probleme”, die fast jeder Artist gut kennt, sind hier so gut wie gar nicht vorhanden. Zumindest habe ich kein Versetzen des Mauszeigers auf den Monitor in Relation zur Stiftspitze bemerkt. Der Stift reagiert sehr weich. Die Druckstrken sind bei verschiedenen Programmen, die ich getestet habe (Photoshop und CorelPainter), jeweils gleich gut umgesetzt: weiches verwischen von Farben und eine sehr direkte Reaktion des Stiftes beim aufsetzten aufs Display sorgen fr ein schnes Arbeitsgefhl. Die Funktionstasten bernehmen eine Neubelegung ohne Treiberneustart!
Die Oberflche des Monitors fhlt sich fr die Hand gut an. Der beigelegte Handschuh verbessert das Gefhl beim Arbeiten am Display. Schade, dass es hier nur eine Gre S gibt. Die Druckknpfe und Drehrder haben eine sehr direkte Reaktionszeit. Das Gert wird nicht so hei, wie ich es von anderen Gerten verschiedener Marken gewohnt bin. Das reduziert das nervige Schwitzen an den Hnden.
Die Stifte sind angenehm leicht und ohne Akku.
Display-Eigenschaften:
Das Display berzeugt mit einem hohen Farbraum
(Farbraum: 88% NTSC, Adobe RGB 91%, sRGB 120%)
Die Farben sind sehr klar und schn dargestellt. Allerdings wrde ich mir einen hheren Kontrast bei der Farbe Schwarz wnschen. Diese wirken leicht grulich und verwaschen. Auerdem hat das Display eine maximale Auflsung von 1920*1080 (Full HD). Bei einer Diagonale von 22 Zoll ist eine solche Auflsung aus meiner Sicht noch verkraftbar.
Vorteilhaft ist, dass man die Helligkeit direkt am oberen rechten Displayrand einstellen kann, ohne in das Men vom Treiber wechseln zu mssen.
Im Treibermen hat man die Mglichkeit den Farbraum einzustellen. Bei mir war die Kalibrierung der Farben aber schon sehr gut im Voraus eingestellt.
Aufgefallene Probleme:
Leider muss ich den USB C Anschluss immer wieder dann aus dem Tablett ziehen und wieder einstecken, wenn mein PC in den Sleep-Modus” gewechselt ist. Sonst reagiert der Stift nicht mehr.
Es gibt leider nur eine Art von Stiftspitzen. Das Bild wirkt nicht so scharf auf dem Display wie auf meinen Monitor, dies ist aber kaum bemerkbar.
Es gab in meiner Testphase” keine Schwierigkeiten mit dem Treiber. Auch konnte ich ohne weiteres die Funktionstasten benutzen. Sie haben zuverlssig reagiert. Selbst bei groen Pinseln und programmierten Pinseln war die Umsetzung der Druckstrken und die es Neigungswinkels problemlos!
Meine Meinung:
Ich bin qualitativ von diesem Modell berzeugt, obwohl ich selbst eher weniger von XP Pen gehalten habe (Aufgrund einer Erfahrung mit einem alten Modell mit dickem Glas)!
rgerlich war, dass nur einen Tag spter das XP Pen Pro Artist 24R im Store im Angebot war. Dies htte mich nur 100 Euro mehr gekostet und ist mit einer 2 K Auflsung sicher noch spannender als das 22R Modell.
Fazit:
Insgesamt wird das Gert wertig verarbeitet ist mit 22 Zoll angenehm gro und bereits kurz nach dem Auspacken und der Installation des Treibers einsatzbereit.
Die Bedienung ist einfach, das Zeichnen mit dem Stift weich und es gibt auf beiden Seiten mehrere Tasten, welche man frei konfigurieren kann. Falls ein Stift mal nicht mehr funktionieren sollte, ist gleich ein Ersatzstift mitgeliefert. Auerdem laufen diese ohne Akku, weshalb man diese nicht aufladen muss. Leider gibt es nur eine Art von Spitzen, die man allerdings nachbestellen kann. Die Full HD Auflsung mag fr einige Artists eventuell zu wenig sein aber fr Einsteiger und angehende Profis durchaus noch vertretbar. Es sind keine nennenswerten Probleme bisher aufgetreten. Nur funktionierte der Stift manchmal nicht mehr, wenn man den Rechner aus dem Stand-by-Modus weckte. Als Workaround hat sich da fr mich ein Abziehen des Kabels und wieder Anstecken bewhrt. Das Problem tritt nicht auf, wenn man den Rechner ganz herunterfhrt oder neustartet.
For the price of this graphics tablet its does a really good job. Draws well, you get a lot of accessories with it and the screen size fits well. It’s super easy to setup too.
Also comes with a anti-scratch screen protector which I honestly didn’t except though was a nice surprise.
I love the screen and the layout of the buttons. Its a very well made product. Only issue i have is that the pen doesn’t always line up fully after turning off and then on. recalibration is needed but still somthing easily done. So happy with the product. Great price for the product and easy to set up
