Easy enough to set up, and the remote unit quickly connected to the display even although some 50m away and through a wall. The display itself is very clear and nicely bright with options to set various display modes. The only problem I encountered was with the radio controlled clock in that it wasn’t picking up the signal. Tried leaving fir several hours and moving the display as ly to window to try to improve reception but still no signal picked up. Left it another day to see if anything happened but no. So set it manually which was fine ( it has auto changing daylights saving) left it and then next day it had picked up the signal! No idea why but I guess setting the time did something. So all good and very happy with unit. It seems accurate to me but I’ve not checked it.
Easy to set up, no major issues, works well. One small problem, sometimes the device stops receiving data from the weather station and hangs, so you need to hit the reset button, which has the device up and running in 60 Seconds. You will notice when it hangs, because the wind speed won’t have changed recently, and generally it should always be changing, or at least where we live.
Bought this when my Oregon Scientific went to the great weather station heaven. This is a good little station and I especially love the fact it gets the atomic clock time signal so I know I have a totally spot on clock in the house. the readings compare well with my Barograph and other sensors I use t=for weather monitoring so overall a decent enough station.
I have the YC9390 version of this, bought at the end of 2018. It was reasonably straightforward to install and set up. It worked fine for the first couple of years and I was very pleased with it. Then, early 2021, the outdoor temperature and humidity readings went haywire (showing 42.5C and 99%). Everything else, outdoor and indoor still works fine. I suspect the hygro/thermo sensor has failed. I have emailed Youshiko UK about it (Service department twice, and Customer Service, again on two occasions) but have not received any reply whatsoever. I did then email their sales dept who did at least respond, but only to a small part of my email concerning the possible purchase of an auxiliary sensor, nothing regarding my queries about the problem I was experiencing and the possibility of obtaining a new hygro/thermo sensor. There are many other reviews commenting about how good and speedy their response is. Just not my experience. If it weren’t for the problem, it’s been a good piece of kit.
The weather station is very comprehensive and easy to set up and use. Only one minor disadvantage .. the weather forecast seems to be a little vague and does not always reflect it accurately. It does tell you that it is only75% accurate but our previous weather station seemed to be more reliable. It is otherwise very good and easy to read.
Have had a weather station for ten years and decided it was time for a new one. This weather station is top class with bags of information. I consider I have made the best choice.
I’ve had this unit Youshiko 5in1 model YC9386 just over 2 years, very pleased from the off set, just the last couple of months started to notice incorrect outside air pressure, air temperature and humidity, so I got the manual out to find a reset of some sort and by press and hold for 10 seconds the history button, this cleared the held data and now normal services is resumed , I checked with local weather app and all the numbers, readings matched. So still a 5 star rating .
I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife who is a keen amateur gardener. We set it up on a 2 metre pole in the back garden and started watching the display. It is a really clear and interesting display – clearly a lot of thought has gone into it. The outdoor sensor also appears to be well made.
Unfortunately after a few days it became apparent that the rain sensor wasn’t working (everything else was fine). Youshiko sent a replacement sensor quickly with no fuss – perfect service.
With hindsight I would probably have bought a different model that enables you to download data to a PC – but that was perfectly clear in the description and I knew what I was getting .
This appliance was a Christmas present and was easy to assemble and was quickly in use once a suitable location had been identified. In urban areas finding a location high enough and away from obstructions that might affect the readings is not easy. It will not be straightforward to change the batteries on the sensor stack. The display is comprehensive and easy to read – I did not realise that the display had to be connected permanently to the mains thus reducing its flexibility – the supplied button battery is purely to preserve data when the display is being moved and has to be disconnected from the mains. As with all appliances like this there is a data lag and accuracy is difficult to confirm – I suspect that the rainfall gauge is probably the least accurate of all the sensors.
Overall, given the cost I am pleased with the appliance and happy to recommend it to others
The weather sensor has to 1.5m off the ground plus needs to be pointed to the north & needs to be level. The sensor is battery powered & the monitor is powered by mains with battery back up. The monitor needs to within 150m from the sensor.
Bought in october for a socially distanced birthday present for my father. Delivered on time. Review from parents was that it’s brilliant. They encountered a small issue in setting up. Resolved by phone with excellent remote support from the company. Followed up by a further phone call from their remote support team to ensure every thing had been resolved. Further to my initial comment (below), the outside sensor has now failed twice. A reset allowed the rainfall guage to commence working again but now practically nothing works anymore: the outside temperature is false and the rain guage doesn’t work (again). Instead of sending a new sensor, Youshiko want me to send back the sensor so they can test it. Quite shocking lack of trust! I’m tempted to just bin it and buy another product!

Great product & really easy to set up. I had a problem with the indoor temperature so I contacted the service dept and I was sent a replacement within a few days which worked perfectly. Highly recommend this weather station.
Unit arrived when expected. The items were very well packed in a custom made box. Explanation booklet is well written and easy to understand. I did have an issue with the weather forecast at first (completely wrong) but emailed the service department and received a prompt reply detailing the procedure to adopt to regulate the problem. Weather forecast is now spot on. On reading their procedure I realized that I had tried to jump ahead of the written procedure whilst I was setting up. Moral – Follow instructions to the letter!

I did not want a unit that connects to the computer and records everything ,my diary does that so this is the model I chose
It took me a couple of hours so mount on my shed about 6 meters high.

Custerm Service is the best I have experienced in my life. E-mailed issue ,half an hour later a phone call from Youshiko put me right.I didn’t follow the instructions in order they were written .
Arrived with in a few days, set it up easily but found screen was flashing, left a message to seller, within 10 minutes he had called me back and after disconnecting from power, removing backup battery, plugging it back in after a minute and pushing the reset button it was fine, then replaced backup battery. Sellers customer service was excellent and other than this minor hiccup everything worked well.
Had a problem after changing the batteries in the sensor in that the sensor and the LCD display wouldn’t talk to each other. E-mailed Youshiko who came back very promptly with excellent and clear instructions as to what to do and the problem was solved.
We replaced our worn out 10 year old weather station with this model in January and it was very easy to set up. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks we had an issue with the LCD display so I emailed the service department. Within 2 or 3 minutes they had phoned me to help. The guy gave us instructions of what to do, left us to follow his instructions and after 15 mins or so he rang again to see how we were getting on. A few more instructions and discussion and it was decided our display unit was faulty. Another one arrived in the post the next day. We installed it without any difficulty and it’s now up and running. What fantastic customer Service! If you’re thinking of buying a weather station, then do purchase one from Youshiko – I can’t fault them.
We had problem setting up station and pairing it to sensor outside so sent an email to service department and within an hour had a call from a very helpful gentleman who got us sorted in 10minutes. Wonderful service.

Really good weather station with extensive data displays. You pay for the privilege, but well packed and delivery prompt . A bit fiddly to set up, needed a couple of attempts to get the signal working and displaying. I’ll know more when sender unit battery replacement time comes around, but certainly a quality item.

I did a lot of research before settling on this weather station, price was very reasonable the readout is excellent you can have different colours but only one colour at a time on the readout, but the screen is extremely clear easy to read and full of information, I have had it running now for about two weeks signal has never dropped out and I spend more time looking at the screen than I do at the TV !! Just put it this way if anything goes wrong with this one in the future I would happily replace it with the same model
The station is great fo general or professional use. Has a clear illuminated display, needs to be plugged into power for it to work. The display can be switched off and a button cell keeps the station working, but unplugged the station loses contact with the wireless outdoor sensors, and you have rescan for a signal again. The display’s illumination can have different colours, but some make the display dull to read. The station is easy to set up. Recommend the sensors to be high up and in open area to give accurate readings .A press of a scanning button on the rear of the station soon makes contact with the sensors. The station gives good detailed information and 24 hour review of the weather. The temperature might be a problem, as the sensor will be exposed to direct sun light so would heat it to higher than the natural temperature .
Delighted by the device – easy to set up, clear display and good range of outputs. I did have a problem, after about 6 months the batteries in the sensor lasted only a week or so – surprisingly, this leads to a 5* rating! I emailed Youshiko with the fault and within two days I had a replacement sensor installed! Hopefully I will not need to try their service again too soon!!
So far so good, I have owned several weather stations none of which have lasted for much more than a year or so !
Hopefully this is the one but only time will tell ?

Absolutely love this weather station, use it everyday for temperatures both in the house and outside, windchill and local forecast. So much information available on the screen. Be careful where the outside station is located as it if sheltered wind speed and wind chill etc will not be recorded properly. Also make sure the outside station is located in a place so that batteries can be replaced when needed. My children constantly use it for temperature before heading out to school.
It is a good system but there are a couple of complaints.
1. The wind speed is recorded in meters per second rather than the normal mph.
2. It has no connection for retaining full records on my laptop.
Always wanted one of these, but couldn’t decide which one to go for. Looked at reviews on Amazon and this one came in first place so went for it! So glad I did. Fantastic piece of kit, easy to install and load….refer to it every day, not sure how I lived without it!!
Great weather station and amazing customer service. My sensor developed a fault after 7 months (rainfall measurement stopped working) and I received replacement within couple of days and now it works perfectly again. Would highly recommend, it does what it says on the box (miss the moon phases though, I think it would be a great addition) and installation is easy.

We love our weather station – tip: try to set it up away from direct sunlight. The range of readouts and information is fascinating and the wind chill factoring on the temperature readout is really useful. We’ve had it for 14 months and only just had to change the battery for the outside part.
I had a small problem with it recently. I contacted the service department and I received a reply straight away and it is again working perfectly. Very good service
First I lost the manual, but after emailing Youshiko they sent one by return within the hour.
Second I fitted the wrong batteries & again I was swiftly helped out by customer service!

Regrettably the display unit failed to work after I had unpacked it. I posted a report to Amazon. I received a telephone call from the seller shortly after the posting. He asked me to carry out a number of resets and checks but it soon became clear that there was a problem with the display. The seller immediately posted me a replacement after checking that it worked. I received this shortly after and the weather station is now working very well.
I have had a number of weather stations over the years. This unit was easy to set up. In addition the wireless range is excellent – far better than any of my previous “well known” purchases.
To summarise- excellent service from the seller and an excellent product.
The weather station was very easy to erect and to set it going. I have it on a 2.5 metre mast on my garage and it works perfectly. Haven’t found out yet if it stores the monthly rainfall or at the start of the next month overwrites the previous month. Very pleased.
My previous weather station (from Maplin) died after 2 years. I looked for a replacement and decided the Youshiko looked to be a professional outfit, giving me much more data than my previous one. Ordered from Amazon and arrived within a couple of days. I set up the station as per instructions but sadly was unable to stabilise the screen. I contacted the supplier via Amazon and within 10 minutes got a request from the supplier for my telephone contact number. I duly supplied and got a call from them within minutes. The chap I spoke to was very helpful and professional and talked me through a setup procedure which reset the station (the procedure he took me through was more complicated than that described in the supplied manual). The RCC function kicked in within 15 minutes and the display was complete. I like the fact that you are able to change the display colours. All in all, I’m very pleased with the product and would highly recommend this station for anyone looking for a weather station. I would also highly recommend Youshiko, particularly for their professional help and support.
Home use, easy to assemble, had a few teething problems getting the outside unit to link to the display but a bit of re-reading of the booklet sorted the problem.
A first class product, which I have now had for 2 months. The display had a minor fault, it would not display 1 for January. I sent an email on a Sunday and to my amazement received a replay that evening! A replacement display was sent and I free returned the faulty one, all in a couple of days. The only thing I would change is the forecast display, which I would replace with. probably, rainfall. Modern apps are so good at the weather forecast. Also, the Snooze button does the opposite to that I expected. It switches the display on, rather an off.
This item was up and running in about 1 hour.
I bought it to donate to my local lifeboat station.
The build quality is excellent, and the wi-fi header unit connected immediately.

This was my first weather station and it was really easy to setup and use. Time and forecast synchronisation can take up to a day, so be patient with the initial installation.
having decided my old weather station was now not fit for purpose and after a lot of researching online, l decided on purchasing this model. Very pleased with the speed of delivery and equally so with the well thought out packaging. Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse when trying to pair up the outside sensor with the main indoor unit whilst both still sat on the table, the signal connected then after a few minutes signal failed, this went on several times whilst l had the outside unit bolted onto a mast, necessitating resetting the code each time it failed . Both units had a clear line of sight being only ten meters away from each other. A frantic phone call to the suppliers didn’t really help, except that l was given the choice of a replacement or my money back. By rebooting the main unit several times, l suddenly found a transmission signal on the screen and connection restored. It’s only been one day, but fingers crossed!
I bought this to replace a failing Aercus Watson style unit sourced from the now defunct Maplins store. This unit seems to promise much better build quality and I note that you can also buy it under another German brand name (Bresser) with a five year warranty – all be it at a similar though slightly higher price. I went with Youshiko because they had the unit in stock and ready to ship. Too early to comment on reliability, as I only installed this today 5th Jan 2019 – but setting it up was straight forward – instructions are in proper English (rather than Chinglish!) and quite comprehensive it being particularly easy to set up the Weather Underground link NB I did have an issue with my browser of choice (Chrome) not displaying the required mapping info – so switched to MS Edge and the map appeared instantly making the installation as straightforward as the instructions suggested it should be. One feature I like is the ability to easily clean out the rain gauge and temperature sensor – Spiders are my worst nemesis went it comes to the rain gauge packing up – their webs are enough to completely stop the rainfall gauge from working – at least with this unit they are easy to clear out and restore function as intended. So early days, but thus far I’m impressed with this unit and it appears that it is a very worth while upgrade of my previous Aercus Watson type unit – in particular the LED display is a joy to behold and much larger (x2 approx?) than my old unit.
Mounted this in the back garden on a 2.5m galvanised steel pole hammered into the ground and clear of walls and obstacles, and so far, 1 month in, it works flawlessly with the internal display unit. After using much cheaper weather stations bought from local stores with 3 year guarantees that consistently failed within 12 months with no service backup, I have high hopes that this one will provide years of trouble free service. It is well constructed and although the unit struggled initially to find the radio signal to set the clock, it has been fine since.
I will try to remember to provide an update in 12 months or in the event that problems occur.
I bought this weather station for my partner, our old one had a faulty transmitter. It was just three years old.The Youshiko weather station is so much better, it is neater and much easier to put-up and install.My partner is a dedicated weather watcher and is really pleased with this one. The coloured display is very easy to read and we are especially pleased with the wind chill info as I then know to wether to wear a hat or not! It is very interactive which is a plus.
This is not my first weather station, but certainly the easiest to set up. Had a slight issue with the RC clock but it eventually sorted itself out. In a weak signal area it seems it can take up to a couple of days to get the time signal. First class customer service from seller who sent replacement base unit as soon as I contacted him but by the time it arrived, the original unit was fully operational.
Very good product, looks good, nice functionality. I needed to use the reset button on the sensor to get the external functions to work, but once this was done it has worked well. The screen is too bright, even on the dimmer setting, to have on in the bedroom so I leave it off overnight. The history function is useful though would be nice if the data could be downloaded and stored. But these are minor gripes about what is a really good weather station.
The quality and ease of operation of this equipment look to be very good so far, as I have only had it a few days. I know the after service is very good from experience because I had a problem when I installed it. They replied to me the same day and told me how to rectify the problem.
Our old weather station died so we purchased this model to replace it with. It is far superior to our old one and exceptionally well made and it certainly does very well indeed what it says on the tin. We are very happy with it because it is plugged into the mains so is always illuminated which is brilliant so you can see at a glance what you want to know. Another good point is you can select what colour you would like the display in, or if you fancy select random and let it surprise you. We can not sing the praises high enough for this piece of equipment, what more can I say it is brilliant and so was the service we had when purchasing it.

Clear and detailed display on the main unit. Outdoor sensor slightly tricky to site in my small garden, so have mounted it on a free-standing pole in a weighted parasol base, working well so far!
Rain gauge did not work but replacement sent quickly and seems ok. Have to toggle between rainfall and barometric pressure only displays one at a time.
Been after a weather station for a while and when I got this, I was elated!!! It’s so easy to set up and you get real time weather for where you’re living. The reading of the screen is very easy, setting the alarms means, you know when the weather is going to extremes, like the hot weather we’ve been having. Would definitely recommend to anyone starting off
This is a solidly built weather station and looks identical to the Bresser version, except this one is for UK users.
The sensor itself is substantial and appears well made and is adjustable, you can either attach the sensor to a wall directly, onto a horizontal wooden beam directly or attach the bottom plate to the other base mount which is included and then put both onto a metal mounting pole (a metal mounting pole is not included).
I secured my sensor onto a 3 wooden plank which I got from B & Q (much cheaper than a metal mounting pole) having sealed the plank with some Cuprinol furniture oil. I then attached the entire piece onto an existing wood fencing.
Word of warning: in order to get the outside readings you need to pair the display with the sensor by bring them close together. I initially got two horizonatal lines for the outside temperature and humidity readings so I got a bit worried. I had to reset the sensor and the display and once I did I got the outside temperature reading which said it was like 30 degrees !
So far an excellent product. Clear display and easy to set up (you must press both RESET buttons to make it communicate). Customer service when I had a small issue was excellent and very quick response. I shall enjoy following the weather from the comfort of my lounge. Would recommend to others.
This weather station is the best one I have purchased, and I have had three. Straight out of the box no interconnecting wiring between components, just three batteries, fitted to mounting lined up and its working. Indoor monitor is great and the mood back lighting on the display is excellent.
Great product and very easy to setup. If not mounting on a flat surface then a Ariel pole is required in order for the weather station to rotate and point north, as is comes on a fixed square pole. Had a slight issue after nine months and the outside unit was replaced with no quibbles in three days. Customer service is excellent.

In urban areas finding a location high enough and away from obstructions that might affect the readings is not easy. It will not be straightforward to change the batteries on the sensor stack. The display is comprehensive and easy to read – I did not realise that the display had to be connected permanently to the mains thus reducing its flexibility – the supplied button battery is purely to preserve data when the display is being moved and has to be disconnected from the mains. As with all appliances like this there is a data lag and accuracy is difficult to confirm – I suspect that the rainfall gauge is probably the least accurate of all the sensors.
Overall, given the cost I am pleased with the appliance and happy to recommend it to others
The weather sensor has to 1.5m off the ground plus needs to be pointed to the north & needs to be level. The sensor is battery powered & the monitor is powered by mains with battery back up. The monitor needs to within 150m from the sensor.

Bought in october for a socially distanced birthday present for my father. Delivered on time. Review from parents was that it’s brilliant. They encountered a small issue in setting up. Resolved by phone with excellent remote support from the company. Followed up by a further phone call from their remote support team to ensure every thing had been resolved. Further to my initial comment (below), the outside sensor has now failed twice. A reset allowed the rainfall guage to commence working again but now practically nothing works anymore: the outside temperature is false and the rain guage doesn’t work (again). Instead of sending a new sensor, Youshiko want me to send back the sensor so they can test it. Quite shocking lack of trust! I’m tempted to just bin it and buy another product!

Custerm Service is the best I have experienced in my life. E-mailed issue ,half an hour later a phone call from Youshiko put me right.I didn’t follow the instructions in order they were written .
Had a small problem with setting it up which was resolved in minutes by a prompt telephone call from selle
Arrived with in a few days, set it up easily but found screen was flashing, left a message to seller, within 10 minutes he had called me back and after disconnecting from power, removing backup battery, plugging it back in after a minute and pushing the reset button it was fine, then replaced backup battery. Sellers customer service was excellent and other than this minor hiccup everything worked well.
Had a problem after changing the batteries in the sensor in that the sensor and the LCD display wouldn’t talk to each other. E-mailed Youshiko who came back very promptly with excellent and clear instructions as to what to do and the problem was solved.
We replaced our worn out 10 year old weather station with this model in January and it was very easy to set up. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks we had an issue with the LCD display so I emailed the service department. Within 2 or 3 minutes they had phoned me to help. The guy gave us instructions of what to do, left us to follow his instructions and after 15 mins or so he rang again to see how we were getting on. A few more instructions and discussion and it was decided our display unit was faulty. Another one arrived in the post the next day. We installed it without any difficulty and it’s now up and running. What fantastic customer Service! If you’re thinking of buying a weather station, then do purchase one from Youshiko – I can’t fault them.
We had problem setting up station and pairing it to sensor outside so sent an email to service department and within an hour had a call from a very helpful gentleman who got us sorted in 10minutes. Wonderful service.
Station seems very good lots of information and clear display. Love the radio setting of the time. Pricey but for service alone well worth the money.
Really good weather station with extensive data displays. You pay for the privilege, but well packed and delivery prompt . A bit fiddly to set up, needed a couple of attempts to get the signal working and displaying. I’ll know more when sender unit battery replacement time comes around, but certainly a quality item.

Arrived promptly in time for Christmas. Had a small set up issue on Boxing Day, emailed seller who contacted us back immediately by phone and fixed up in less than 3 minutes. Fantastic service, five stars, thanks folks.
The station is great fo general or professional use. Has a clear illuminated display, needs to be plugged into power for it to work. The display can be switched off and a button cell keeps the station working, but unplugged the station loses contact with the wireless outdoor sensors, and you have rescan for a signal again. The display’s illumination can have different colours, but some make the display dull to read. The station is easy to set up. Recommend the sensors to be high up and in open area to give accurate readings .A press of a scanning button on the rear of the station soon makes contact with the sensors. The station gives good detailed information and 24 hour review of the weather. The temperature might be a problem, as the sensor will be exposed to direct sun light so would heat it to higher than the natural temperature .
Delighted by the device – easy to set up, clear display and good range of outputs. I did have a problem, after about 6 months the batteries in the sensor lasted only a week or so – surprisingly, this leads to a 5* rating! I emailed Youshiko with the fault and within two days I had a replacement sensor installed! Hopefully I will not need to try their service again too soon!!
So far so good, I have owned several weather stations none of which have lasted for much more than a year or so !
Hopefully this is the one but only time will tell ?

Absolutely love this weather station, use it everyday for temperatures both in the house and outside, windchill and local forecast. So much information available on the screen. Be careful where the outside station is located as it if sheltered wind speed and wind chill etc will not be recorded properly. Also make sure the outside station is located in a place so that batteries can be replaced when needed. My children constantly use it for temperature before heading out to school.
It is a good system but there are a couple of complaints.
1. The wind speed is recorded in meters per second rather than the normal mph.
2. It has no connection for retaining full records on my laptop.

Home use, easy to assemble, had a few teething problems getting the outside unit to link to the display but a bit of re-reading of the booklet sorted the problem.
I bought it to donate to my local lifeboat station.
The build quality is excellent, and the wi-fi header unit connected immediately.

This was my first weather station and it was really easy to setup and use. Time and forecast synchronisation can take up to a day, so be patient with the initial installation.
I bought this to replace a failing Aercus Watson style unit sourced from the now defunct Maplins store. This unit seems to promise much better build quality and I note that you can also buy it under another German brand name (Bresser) with a five year warranty – all be it at a similar though slightly higher price. I went with Youshiko because they had the unit in stock and ready to ship. Too early to comment on reliability, as I only installed this today 5th Jan 2019 – but setting it up was straight forward – instructions are in proper English (rather than Chinglish!) and quite comprehensive it being particularly easy to set up the Weather Underground link NB I did have an issue with my browser of choice (Chrome) not displaying the required mapping info – so switched to MS Edge and the map appeared instantly making the installation as straightforward as the instructions suggested it should be. One feature I like is the ability to easily clean out the rain gauge and temperature sensor – Spiders are my worst nemesis went it comes to the rain gauge packing up – their webs are enough to completely stop the rainfall gauge from working – at least with this unit they are easy to clear out and restore function as intended. So early days, but thus far I’m impressed with this unit and it appears that it is a very worth while upgrade of my previous Aercus Watson type unit – in particular the LED display is a joy to behold and much larger (x2 approx?) than my old unit.
I will try to remember to provide an update in 12 months or in the event that problems occur.

Very good product, looks good, nice functionality. I needed to use the reset button on the sensor to get the external functions to work, but once this was done it has worked well. The screen is too bright, even on the dimmer setting, to have on in the bedroom so I leave it off overnight. The history function is useful though would be nice if the data could be downloaded and stored. But these are minor gripes about what is a really good weather station.

The quality and ease of operation of this equipment look to be very good so far, as I have only had it a few days. I know the after service is very good from experience because I had a problem when I installed it. They replied to me the same day and told me how to rectify the problem.
This was bought by my husband and he is very pleased with it. He had it up and running the same day it was delivered.
Found signal with ease, clear screen features, now waiting for the weather to check it out!
Rain gauge did not work but replacement sent quickly and seems ok. Have to toggle between rainfall and barometric pressure only displays one at a time.
The sensor itself is substantial and appears well made and is adjustable, you can either attach the sensor to a wall directly, onto a horizontal wooden beam directly or attach the bottom plate to the other base mount which is included and then put both onto a metal mounting pole (a metal mounting pole is not included).
I secured my sensor onto a 3 wooden plank which I got from B & Q (much cheaper than a metal mounting pole) having sealed the plank with some Cuprinol furniture oil. I then attached the entire piece onto an existing wood fencing.
Word of warning: in order to get the outside readings you need to pair the display with the sensor by bring them close together. I initially got two horizonatal lines for the outside temperature and humidity readings so I got a bit worried. I had to reset the sensor and the display and once I did I got the outside temperature reading which said it was like 30 degrees !
