Having had a RR Evoque stolen after 3 weeks of buying it, I wasn’t taking any chances with my replacement car. With the key in the pouch I walked right to the car and it did not unlock, however the small flap has to be closed otherwise the key will be vunerable. Very satisfied
It worked well for a year, couldn’t open or start the car with the key in the pouch but after a year I found the car door would unlock with the pouch close to it, whether this was because putting the key in and out of the pouch had damaged the lining and the RF filter but I had to buy a new pouch. not expensive for what it does but I hoped it would last longer.
These pouches actually work as described.
I stood next to my keyless start vehicle and failed to gain entry into it.
I would recommend them if you’re worried about your vehicle key being “scanned”
I ordered the medium size, for my friend.
They really work, as they tried to start the car, with the key inside the pouch and the car wouldn’t start.
Well worth getting, they arrived the next day, value for money
I bought these to help improve my security with a key less entry car.
These seem to be very good quality and performed very well when I had the keys and I tested them.
Very easy to use nothing to do other than putting them in the pouch.
We live in an area targeted for keyless entry car theft. 45 seconds to get the neighbours’ car using the right tools. After months of putting my car keys in the microwave to jam the signal; and nearly cooking them a couple of times, I gave these a go. They most definitely work.
Purchased these as brought a new car and a friend told me to get one of these to safeguard my keys as your car can be cloned if left out. Worker great. A couple of times I’ve taken the key in the wallet into the car and the engine won’t come on as it can’t detect the key unless it’s out of the wallet. So all good! It only fits the key in and nothing else the size I got but that’s all I wanted.
This product works 100%. I stood next to my car keyless entry doesn’t work. It blocks the signal well! You get two pouches so convenient for the spare key too. Really happy to use this with prevention of a steering lock to keep car thieves away. Best 8 I’ve spent.
Unfortunately you have to have this ( not proven yet ) but peace of mind purchased the largest size available because I keep house keys on the same ring plenty big enough
Very happy with this purchase. I tested it out by putting my car key in the pouch and walked around the car. The car stayed locked. So it serves it’s purpose and is great at blocking the signal from car keys.
Very pleased with my new faraday pouches, l originally bought some from another seller but ordered medium instead of small and was too big for my car key fob, so ordered these and they are a perfect size for my key and perfect fit for my trouser pocket, good quality and great price you also get 2 so one for my spare key, they do work if I go to my car with the key I pouch the car won’t unlock
This bag blocks the key fob signal even near the car – good! It has metal swivel hook on the outside and a metal chain with key ring on the inside – I want neither but they cannot be detached without cutting some of the material. The longevity of the bag remains to be seen but seems reasonable for the job.
We have used these protect our electric car keys fobs and purchased more for parents as well. They are perfect size, small enough to fit in a handbag or pocket. Even comes with a ring loop to attach inside your bag for extra security
Bought these for when on holiday trips in the UK when staying at hotels. At home the car is in a locked garage and the key is kept in an RFID box (any metal box will do) but when out an about and I’m still near ish the car but its out of site a relay attack is still possible if the key is still near enough to the car. Say in a hotel room unless locking it in a safe all the time. I keep on in the suitcase and another one in the car, the one in the car is handy when I pop into the marina or the office and the car is still pretty close to where I might be, same goes for maybe the pub or restaurant car park if out for a meal and the carpark is close to the building. It can work at home too if you like but a bit of a PITA to keep putting the key in and out. Its not needed all the time just when you are within maybe 100-150 M of the car where the Relay attack boosts the signal between key and car allowing the car to think the key is present, this is how most keyless entry cars are stolen, the alternative is if you car has the option is to disable Keyless Entry but not all cars have this. This isnt really needed when parking up and being quite a way from the car but handy for when you nip down the local shops and park out front or the DIY store. The thieves mainly operate at night to be fair but in busy supermarket car parks when you would be away for a while its more likely unless you are in Chelsea and the car park is full of the same cars! for the price is well worth keeping one in the car and one in the travel bag. Hotels are a good place for thefts like this as the guests wont be far away and no one would know the car being driven off isnt by the owner.
I’ve stood next to my car with my key in a pouch and tried the door – it wouldn’t open. Took the key out and the door opened. So these pouches work.
I bought the medium size, which is quite roomy for a standard car key fob, but not really big enough to put the spare in too. Probably I should’ve got small, but I’d rather too much room than risk it being too snug and tricky to get the key out again.
It does the job! If car key is in the pouch while you are in the car, the car will not start which means intruders cannot detect the key from outside.
