Muy bueno para su precio. Unica pega que eb fl studio solo funciona como teclado y los scrolls si los asignas. En abbleton funcionan perfectamente todos los controladores

The only flaw … You can’t remap the midi button so you gotta make it work as is
You just plug it in and it will give you external pads for the Kronos, although I’m still wondering what the advantage is over just using the keys. The buttonss are a bit small for drum kits, but they will work. I haven’t got the sliders doing anything, but the Kronos has its own sliders.
Il prodotto robusto, l’ho utilizzato per tutta l’estate, rimanendo svariate ore all’aperto ed stato esposto spesso a umidit notturna, anche abbondante, polvere e anche (purtroppo) a qualche scroscio di pioggia inattesa. Nonostante ci non ha mai fatto una piega, n sui bottoni n sui fader.
L’accoppiamento inesistente su MacOS, nel senso che basta collegare il cavo usb (da tipo B a tipo A, incluso e sufficientemente lungo per utilizzi classici) e in pochi secondi viene rilevato dal sistema.
Il feeling dei tasti buono, si sa sempre se un tasto stato premuto oppure no anche senza guardare.
I fader hanno una discreta resistenza, non sono troppo morbidi da essere mossi accidentalmente e inviano un segnale preciso.
I LED di retroilluminazione dei pulsanti non sono brillantissimi ma comunque abbastanza luminosi da essere visibili in condizioni di media illuminazione diretta del dispositivo. Non sono RGB ma solo selezionabili tra Verde/Arancio/Rosso, sia fissi che lampeggianti (bassa frequenza, mai fastidiosi).
I piedini sotto al dispositivo gli forniscono una buona stabilit su tutte le superfici, raramente mi si mosso durante l’utilizzo e solo per eccessiva “foga” nella pressione di un pulsante o di movimento di un fader.
Unica pecca per ora riscontrata, il connettore usb lo avrei messo sul lato, o sdoppiato per dare possibilit di scelta, visto che un controller creato per occupare meno spazio possibile.

La nica pega que le saco es la poca configuracin con otros softwares, es decir, funciona con Qlab, resolume, Logic… con todos, pero ojo, no se ilumina, eso solo lo hace con ableton, lo cual es una pena, dado que para lanzar en directo vdeos, o para disparar algunos elementos estando en el Show, sera mejor poder ver claramente todo.
Los faders son muy sensibles, aviso que son muy pequeos, si miras la medidas totales del producto descubrirs que los faders son realmente “cortos de recorrido”, no es un problema porque son muy precisos, pero tenlo en cuenta, sobre todo para directo.

Fr mein Ableton Live brauchte ich eine platzsparende Lsung. Und das kleine Akai APC Key 25 war da genau richtig. Akai hat bisher immer gepunktet in Usability und Qualitt. Wobei es auch von Roland mega schne Controller gibt, aber nicht fr dieses Preis/Leistungsverhltnis.
Le funzionalita’ sono quelle promesse.
Il canale Midi mi risulta uscire sul 2 fisso.
La tastiera non da performance, in quanto robusta, ma dura, anche se sensibile al tocco.
Compatibile con il suo costo, comunque.
Je pense que c’est l’un des meilleurs produits de sa catgorie car il est accessible tous tant donner le prix peu cher… Trs bonne qualit par rapport au prix… Merci encore.

Estoy muy contento con este controlador MIDI.
Estaba dudando entre este o el MPK Mini y definitivamente me quedo con este por las perillas de control y porque tiene muchos ms PADs para poder usar en tu DAW. Yo lo uso con Ableton (que por cierto te viene con el controlador la versin Lite) y estoy muy contento. Akai nunca falla.
Los pads funcionan como deberan, y es muy intuitivo el uso con Ableton Live. El teclado siento que est muy duro, y para usarlo al grabar hay que utilizar un compresor midi (que es fcil de considerar, pero ms CPU).

Perfekt zu programmieren mit Ableton, welches auch in der Lite Version mitgeliefert wird. 8 Spuren sind zu je 5 verschiedenen Sequenzen programmierbar. Lautstrke etc. ist direkt mit den Drehreglern regulierbar. Das Keyboard ist gut verarbeitet und perfekt fr das Home Studio.

If you do purchase this product, I would also advise searching online for free samples of the genre of music you wish to produce; although they can’t be used as your own material they are great for learning how to use the APC Key 25 to construct and play songs.
The version of Ableton Live Lite that this device controls is excellent, it obviously doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the full version but it is more than capable of fulfilling it’s purpose, the software can be used to both produce pieces of music which are then loaded to the launch keys for playing as part of a song. The software itself is intuitive and easy to use, and there are plenty of videos available online to help when you get stuck!
This also comes with a few plug-in applications which are used in the Ableton software, these are immense and can turn a basic melody into a behemoth of a noise easily, I have used the Hybrid application in every song I have made so far and have found it to be excellent, it has hundreds of preset effects already loaded and you can quickly and easily make your own effects (again, a quick browse through some online tuition is advisable here to get a feel for what to do to get the type of effect you desire).
I would highly recommend this product to anyone thinking of making their own music, it has been a brilliant addition to my set-up and I am considering using it to play live songs as part of my sets instead of recording them at home and playing them through my dj controller. Quite possibly the best 70 I have ever spent, it really is that good. Kudos to Akai, this product is fantastic.

Awesome bit of kit. While I wish there were separate dedicated buttons for some of the functions, such as record-arm, I can understand that doing that would hurt sales of Akai’s other equipment such as the APC40 MkII. However, for the money, it’s superb – I was particularly impressed to discover that the keys are velocity sensitive, which at this price point I thought was maybe a bit of an ask.
Love this thing. I use it to launch clip in Ableton and it work just fine. Small and solid build + The launch buttons feel great. No problem recommending it!

well, these things are all down to taste at the end of the day, there is so much variety out there that you can pick the features you want on a midi device, I enjoy having the clip launcher, keys, and pots, all on the same device, my workflow is easily managed live, and thats why its worth the investment, my only wish is that it was bigger, im a fan of akai kit, it works, is well designed, and you know it will pair with Live and vst’s without any hassle, worth the buy if your looking to be able to launch clips and run synths at the same time.

Funktioniert super mit Ableton! Achtung Ableton Live Lite ist nicht im Paket und muss extra auf Ableton (4free) geladen werden. Macht richtig Spa Kontrolle ber so viele verschiedene Track Kombinationen zu haben! 🙂
Allerdings arbeite ich lieber mit Reason. Hier gilt: Es gibt keinen Treiber fr Reason der mit der LED Beleuchtung des Pads klar kommt! (Ggf gibt es Bastellsungen fr die, die sich mit Python Programmierung auskennen im Net.) Ansonsten aber gilt: Alle Regler lassen sich zuweisen wenn man im Reason dem Pad 2 Midi Controller zuweist, halt komplett ohne beleuchtete Pads. Ich habe: LPD8 fr die Pads und dann einen standard Midi Controler fr die Schieberegler genommen. Und schon kann man ordentlich live performen mit Matrix pattern Seq. Auswahlfeldern oder Dr. Rex. Man muss allerdings alles manuell einrichten whrend das bei Ableton schon direkt geht.. ist halt an die Ableton Seq-Programmstruktur angepasst, whrend Reason da wohl zu variabel ist.
Fazit: Wenn man doch nur die LEDs zum Laufen kriegen knnte auch ohne extra Treiber und Applikationsrckmeldung, dann wre das Teil perfekt. So, aber dennoch gut zu gebrauchen und die vielfltigen Matrix Kombinationsmglichkeiten machen Spa! 🙂
(AKAI: Bitte macht noch einen Reason Treiber fr die LEDs!!!)
Transportable ; pour dbuter c’est vraiment le top, bien entendu ce n’est plus suffisant au bout d’un certain tempsmais peut toujours tre utile pour s’amuser, fonctionne parfaitement avec Ableton, je recommande, de plus le prix reste assez raisonnable 🙂
j’utilise ce contrleur USB depuis plus d un an maintenant , il est trs sympa pour ce faire la main en musique lectronique via Ableton(version gratuite fournie ) , les touches et les squences sont entirement paramtrable …Vous pouvez l’utiliser aussi en Mode DJ et programmer vos morceaux sur les touches et ainsi animer vos soires !
pour complter votre cration il existe une multitude de VST ( instrument de musique synthtique) contrlable avec APC KEy 25 et en tlchargement libre et gratuit ..
je conseil ce produit pour une bonne initiation Ableton !
This was a present for my Grandson and he is thrilled to bits with it.
good controller for Ableton, nice to have the trigger buttons and other controls to break away from the mouse a bit. Reduced one star because the buttons are a bit cheap and rubbery and there’s a knack to triggering accurately with them, you kind of have to anticipate slightly and press them slightly earlier than you’d expect. This messes up your connection to the beat somewhat, at least initially. Note that it is not as well suited to use with other software as it is specifically adapted for Ableton. Also there is no mod or pitch wheel. i dislike the little keys more than I expected but that’s on me, It is what it is.

So I can’t comment on the function with Ableton, although I’m sure it’s great. But happy to recommend the build quality and the great value for money.
Die Software erkennt das Gert automatisch und die Belegung ist auch vorkonfiguriert.
Die Tasten knnen aber auch individuell den Wnschen angepasst werden, die die sich auskenne, wissen wie es geht.

Mi primera experiencia con un controlador y estoy realmente contento. Muy intuitivo y con muchas posibilidades, a penas he empezado ha sacarle partido. Se sincronizo con Ableton si necesidad de hacer nada. Lo recomiendo para personas que como yo se inician en este mundillo. No se si ser suficiente para satisfacer a todo el mundo, pero por este precio no se puede pedir ms. Gran compra.
If you are seeking to simply harvest the controller functions, and map them to your Traktor or DAW, then you are fine. The buttons cannot be used as drum triggers, as the only MIDI message the buttons send is 0 OR 127. Each button is a MIDI note (Like A#3 or C3 etc.). So the buttons are merely note ON/OFF controllers. Even the round buttons are merely MIDI notes ON/OFF. Only bummer for Traktor, is no knobs. You can map the faders as knobs, nevertheless.
For Ableton tweakers:
What I do is use columns 1-7 for clip launch, the top right button for tap tempo (mapped) the 8th fader to control the Send A channel fader (Reverb for example, but I have a delay plugged into it instead). Turn up all Send A on channels 1-7. Use the mapped 8th fader to bring in Delay (but this affects the delay tail if you have to turn it down to mute it suddenly, that’s the only bummer). Finally, Column 8 I map the next 7 buttons down after the first one to turn on and off the chopper effect placed on each track (column) associated with a button in column 8 (button on rows 2-8) except for the tap tempo button on the top right.
My point is, that this thing is very versatile if you are not afraid to map midi.
Even without mapping, it is still very workable.
But I only use this to launch and mix songs for event DJing (if you want to call that being a dj)
Sono molto soddisfatto, il prodotto, solo per il prezzo supera nella qualit e praticit molti altri prodotti di questo tipo.

This is basically an extension of your Ableton screen. Super easy to use. I’m pretty new to Ableton but had no trouble getting around this keyboard. Light, fun, easy, playful.
Partiamo innanzitutto con fare i complimenti al servizio Amazon che me l’ha recapitata il giorno dopo! (con Prime)
Per quanto riguarda il controller, beh che dire, per me QUASI perfetto. Perch quasi? Perch purtroppo integrata alla perfezione con Ableton ed gia configurata con quest’ultimo (dipende anche dalla versione di software che state utilizzando, con le prime dovrete scaricare la configurazione da internet e aggiungerla manualmente) mentre con FL Studio non proprio il massimo. Io utilizzo principalmente quest’ultimo, e se gi un p una rottura il doversi configurare tasto per tasto, c’ da dire che ad esempio l’illuminazione dei 40 pad clip non funzioner in nessun modo, quella solo con Ableton a quanto pare…E poi le varie funzioni con il tasto Shift (controllo del pan, volume ecc) ad esempio non potrete controllarle, cosa invece possibile in Ableton (che comunque anche qui pecca perch sar possibile controllare solo una funzione per volta con le varie manopole…)
E allora perch do 5 stelle?
Perch per 80 euro, non c’ controller migliore che integri comunque sia tastiera, sia pad clip che manopole.
Perch la qualit costruttiva sebbene sia in plastica, sembra davvero molto molto buona.
Perch i tasti della tastiera (scusate il gioco di parole) sono a pressione
Perch compreso nel prezzo, una volta registrato il prodotto sul loro sito, avrete un bel pack di suoni da scaricarvi gratuitamente e in pi Ableton Live Lite
E perch spero che venga integrata in un secondo momento con Fl Studio cosi come hanno fatto con le altre Akai…
Quindi sinceramente consiglio l’acquisto, se utilizzate FL Studio pensateci due volte (io se tornassi indietro comunque la riacquisterei) consci comunque dei “limiti”, a questo prezzo difficilmente troverete qualcosa di meglio!

Keys give a lot less tactile feedback than I’d prefer, but everything works as advertised.
Ho acquistato per conto di mio figlio la tastiera: mi dice che perfetta per ci che intende fare. Dal canto mio sottolineo l’arrivo in anticipo del prodotto e l’imballo che ha consentito l’arrivo in perfette condizioni. Non lo potr usare, ma ho trovato anche un bonus di 15 euro su un acquisto successivo di almeno 100 euro. Quindi, sono rimasto pi che soddisfatto.

Sehr gut verarbeitet, mehr als der Preis erwarten lsst. PC findet das Ding anstandslos und es kann mit praktisch jedem Musikprogramm als Miditastatur verwendet werden. Viele Vst. lassen es auch zu, dass man einige Funktionen auch ansprechen kann, somit ist es nicht nur fr Ableton-Nutzer interessant….

Das erste mal das ich eine Rezension schreibe, aber macht ja nichts.
Ich wollte schon lngere Zeit eigenst ein wenig Musik produzieren und ein bisschen rumspielen. Da ich schon am Handy einige Apps ausprobiert habe wollte ich das ganze in gro am Laptop mal ausprobieren. Das Akai APC KEY 25 schien mir dafr passend, auch dank seiner grozgigen Matrix.
Ich bin ein absolut blutiger Anfnger und manche wrden meinen, man sollte sich daher vielleicht eher einen kleineren MIDI Controller kaufen. Meine Meinung dazu ist, wer Lust darauf hat, lernt auch schnell.
Zum APC KEY 25, es ist fr mich persnlich ein hammer Gert um ein bisschen mit Sounds herum zu experimentieren. Man versteht schnell die Logik hinter allen Knpfen und ist ist top verarbeitet. Wer auch schnelleres drcken von den Pad Tasten abfhrt sollte sich aber vielleicht doch berlegen einen anderen Controller zu kaufen, da man doch eher “fest” auf die Pads drcken muss wie bei manch anderen die ich schon ausprobieren durfte. Mir persnlich gefallen auch sehr die kleinen extra Buttons wie “Sustain” und die Oktaven Verstellung. Damit kann man noch vielfltiger sein.
Mein einzig negativer Punkt ist, dass der Lizenz Code bei mir anscheinend schon vergeben ist. Wollte meine Ableton Lite Version autorisieren und dann kam eben diese Fehlermeldung, dass angeblich schon ein anderer User diese verwendet.
Ansonsten fr diesen Preis und fr Einsteiger ein Top Gert!

La tastiera si e’ rivelata ottima, i tasti rispondono bene. e testato col software in questione OK. Premetto che la tastiera funziona anche con qualsiasi software musicale, oltre che con Ableton Live 9, meglio se ha il supporto per i Pads. Vi allego alcune foto. Tra l’altro la tastiera e’ di facile portabilita’. Acquisto consigliato. Spedizione Amazon buona, come al solito.
Its pretty amazing especially for the cost, having a midi key board really aids in making your music production more organic and this is perfect for your entry level musician who’s trying to up his game. This little controller is an absolute joy to use, and yes its better than a launchpad, akai were the pioneers of these controllers and it shows, its half the price of a launchpad and does twice as much AND is smaller, lighter and much better to use.
Im happy knowing now that i only need 2 controllers to make meaningful music, this and the akai Lpk25
Granted my computer wasn’t cheap neither was ableton live but i wont need to buy another bit of gear ever again as these controllers do the lot, and better.
I can fit this and the other akai lpk25 in the space where my pc keyboard was on my desk without filling the whole room with hardware synths that never got used, and i certainly dont miss meters and meters of cables everywhere, i dont care if you own 50 synthesizers, you wont come anywhere near to the sheer power of ableton live it does the lot, from recording/sequencing to vst synths you are only limited by you imagination.
I bought mine from Juno in london, this is the best piece of gear i’ve ever bought for getting the job done, its rock solid in every way and its faders are awsome to work with especially for track levels. now im on the subject of faders, you wont need a seperate mixer now with this!
A fantastic tool for making mash-ups aswell, you can do the lot basically computers have no boundaries.

work brillant on ablenton 9 live suite but i wouldnt post your tunes on sound cloud there taking them down at the mome
The sleek design looks great with my setup and the backlights for the pads are much brighter and full than the APC40 mk1. No need for a power cable, just plug right into any usb. The faders feel sturdy and have good resistance when being moved, plus they’re indented in which helps if you need to keep this APC Mini on the go. Just pop it in the same bag with your laptop. The pads feel great and are a good size, plus the 8×8 grid on the $99 APC Mini is larger than the $399 APC40 MkII’s 8×5 grid. It baffles my mind that Akai didn’t upgrade the grid on the new APC40…
If you’re worried about the shift button being a nuisance or hindrance to your creative flow, don’t fret. Just like anyone that used the APC20, it becomes second nature navigating Ableton with this new controller, plus the small size makes it soo much easier to control even with one hand when using the Shift button to fly around Ableton Live. Many times I play guitar while controlling Live with the APC Mini and the convenient small size helps so much for quick changes during a performance.
There are a few simple draw backs compared to the apc40, but for 1/4th of the price of the new APC40 MkII (when it was released / when this review was written) there is no need to complain. The APC Mini only works with Live 9.1.3, any earlier version and you’re just SOL. You will need to remember where faders were located when shifting back and forth between volume and device control (the same issue was with the APC20). Though a good thing is the device doesn’t change the volume level in Ableton when you switch back from controlling a device until you move the fader a good amount. Also it’s just a three color grid like the old APCs, unlike the new multi-colored grid on the Mk II. Another drawback is that the arrow keys only move by a single track, but give the Ableton faithful a few months to get their hands on this device and custom scripts will be available for the APC Mini and APC Key 25 just like the first APC40 and APC20 has now. Also the pads are not velocity sensitive, but no APC has that functionality.
I combine the APC Mini with a Korg NanoKontrol2 and I have all the functionality I need.
