Sound is amazing awesome, no matter if you are listening via bluetooth or wired.
Comfortable as helll usually use it 8 hrs in a business day.
I bought another caring case (hard shell) because I wasn’t confident to carry this with the provided case.
The broken of this promising underdog, lack of dual connectivity. I missed it so much.
Best headphones I have heard at this price point. Easy o. the ears,(after they have been broken in) They were a little right to start. Has the mini xlr cable. And most of all great sound reproduction for mixing and mastering. The Bluetooth is just a added feature. That sounds just as good.

Its really great as it has amazing sound quality with all kinds of mixing in sound track can be seen only on this one. I need to replay all songs in my playlist god damm its in another world as you can’t hear this all kinds of mixing in normal tws or other headphones. Its not overpowering punchy bass as bass lovers must stay. It gives you studio original sound quality and you can hear each and every note. True to be a professional headphones. Its really value for money . AKG is best in this category in still 2022.

E puoi passare ore all’ascolto senza mai avere l’orecchio appesantito… Top senza dover spender cifre assurde!!!
It’s a value for money product with a better than other products in the market. I came across this brand when I had gone for a ear test where they were using the basic model of this brand and I could identify a 15k decibel sound. I prefer using this with the wire on and feel the sound quality is a bit better than bluetooth. Great job AKG
Adatte a musica classica, jazz e pop.
These headphones are amazing. The sound quality is perfect, with balanced frequencies that allow me to listen all the instruments clearly. This is truly superior audio quality, as expected from a professional audio brand.
The build quality is great too. It feels sturdy and the materials used seem to be adequate.
In terms of comfort of use, they adjust perfectly to my head and ears. There is no pressure at all, feeling almost as if they are not there at all.
The sound insulation is pretty good too.
Other good points are: it’s foldable, detachable cable, comes with two cables, a plug adapter for 6.35mm and a bag.
In my opinion this is the best headphones available at this price point.
I had a lot of gaming headsets , and k361 is my first studio headset :
1- Tuning is great .
2- Details are good but it can be better .
3- Its loud no need amp .
4- Bass are good and enough .
5- Its comfortable .
6- For gaming its more sharp than details .
7- For music its great .
8- Build quality are good .
Note : there is one issue with the cover on the right side its moving and not stuck well .
Has some QC issue like the pictures say the pu on the peels right off our of the box. Comfort and fit are okay, Tolerable. The sound incredible fir the price. If you prefer sound quality and compromise on few cosmetic issues. This is great headphone, connectivity is fast no lag. AUDIO IS CRISP. CLEAR. Almost close to neutral Harman target curve. Just slightly base heavy but it’s clean. Excellent sound staging for price and even beyond price for children back. Under 10k no headphone is capable what this headphone can do in terms of sound. Except Sennheiser HD599 it’s good in few ways and bad in few ways. But k371 bt is most preferable due to its versatility. And closed back had good isolation.

It’s a good and versatile entry level professional monitor headphones. The sound is well balanced, at all frequencies. Really long lasting battery life… but it’s not a close headphones, so if you’re looking for an effective close headphones look beyond. In conclusion it’s a good product considering the budget.
I was looking for a wired headphone which isn’t too bulky but still has good sound quality for over a year. This is exactly it. I decided to buy it after some YouTube reviews I watched and I don’t regret my decision. Sound quality is better than I have ever experienced so far (coming from a Beoplay H6) and I love that it’s wired but still portable, lightweight and comfortable to wear for long sessions. Definitely recommended.
Assolutamente consigliate
A sonoridade desse Fone e incrvel
Os mdios so todos flat
Tem um pouco de bust ns Subs
E uns Picos ns agudos
I am a student and used these to study for my online classes. I brought these in March of 2021. Sound quality is amazing, but after nearly a year of usage they’re starting to fall apart. The right ear cuff cushion has loosened and fallen off. The plastic bit connecting the same ear has broken. Still amazing headphones if it weren’t for how fragile they are, so be careful with them.

I’ve had a number of AKG headphones and these are as expected very good indeed. Well built, packaged and presented. Sleek and stylish looking. The oval cups are snug and comfortable. Easy to set up. Gesture volume control is great. All gold tip cables should you need them. Decent battery life. Do note they are closed back and intended for professionals/engineers so they are very neutral. If you want really thick deep bass I’d get over ear open back but the sound quality is very crisp and clear. The upside of closed back is very little sound leakage and good noise cancelling. So for travel – perfect. They don’t sound as good as a 200+ pair of AKG but they’re 100 so you can’t complain.. highly recommended
I highly recommend checking out crinacle.com for headphone stuff, as it was his rankings that made me consider getting the K371.
Definitely the best closed back you can get at the price point. On my shelf I still have my Sennheiser Momentum 1.0- which arguably sounds relatively okay – and momentum 2.0 wireless (oops)
The K371 has a really good build (apparently the design was updated a couple years ago now? But if you’re looking at all of the “bad build” reviews, stop, it doesn’t apply any more.)
It follows the Harman curve, which means a slightly elevated bass response and it follows it very well, which means the tonality is very pleasant too.
Nothing feels bloated and these headphones by no means are harsh; they’re moreso the opposite actually, being extremely inoffensive to listen to, to a point I’d actually prefer if they were a tad brighter, but that’s more of a preference point than anything.
In addition I’d like to add that these are EXTREMELY comfortable. The clamping force isn’t bad at all and the ear pads are soft.
Lastly, if you’re undecided between the wired and wireless versions of these, I know you already know what I’m going to say, but the Bluetooth version won’t sound as good. But no, it’s not because of Bluetooth. Remember, for Bluetooth you need a battery and an actual Bluetooth module. That takes up space in the housing, which means the driver generally has to either be smaller or at very least changes the space that the sound resonates in.
No matter what though you’ll never be disappointed with these.
I was honestly going to send these back after just listening for 30 seconds, but now I’m pleased I didn’t.
I have never come across a set of headphones that need to be placed exactly on your head as these. If you don’t get a seal with the ear pads you will have a very thin sound. I was not impressed with these at all. Then I played about with the placement on my head and found that when you get them positioned correctly they do sound really good. I also let them play overnight and that helped to tame the treble down a bit.
Overall they have a very clean sound with a little bit of sub bass boost, I don’t think that there’s too much bass, but it’s all personal. My music tastes are varied I listen from classical to Jean Michel Jarre.
These are good headphones for the price, I had a set of Sennheiser HD650 which I found was boring, (sold them a few months ago) these are not as flat frequency response but they do make the music sound good, and for me that’s the most important thing.
I have had it for exactly 1 year. It does not enhance sound with bass/treble/etc. Rather it outputs sounds exactly as they are meant to be. Music sounds original and natural. Sound quality is consistent on wired and bluetooth. Works with my android phone and windows laptop. Pairing is effortless. Makes a world of difference on zoom calls. Battery life is as advertised. Cushions are soft and comfortable. Ear cup size is large enough. Seals well to block outside sounds (no ANC). My only complaint is about gesture controls. I don’t want to use them, and they get triggered inadvertently if I touch the headset while playing something. Despite this minor inconvenience, overall a very good buy.
The frequency response is unreal at this price… The AKG K371-BT headphones allow amazing definition for helping to organise the optimal levels in your mix… And having the choice to utilise Blue Tooth or the cable is priceless…
– Build quality: The quality of the plastic is good. It feels strong and it’s light at the same time.
– Sound quality: It’s really good, if you combo them with a good DAC they sound amazing considering the price you’re paying. The soundstage is not the best (you can get better soundstage for about 20-25 with the KSC75, but those are open backs and lack both sound isolation and bass), but you can still feel where the sounds are coming from. They get pretty loud (I use them at about 60-70% volume).
– Confort: They are very confortable. They feel extremely light, and dont have that much of a clamping force (at least for my head size and shape). I live in a warm country so they tend to get a bit hot and sweaty after a few hours of use, but its something that a few minutes with them off can make a big difference. The fact that they are light and don’t clamp too hard also has a downside. For example, when I’m riding the bus and we go over bumps they tend to move a bit. It’s nothing that really bothers me since it rarely happens but it something to keep in mind.
Not so great sound quality compared to normal wired version. But overall great features for the price. For me comfort was terrible and I think its due to bad weight distribution.
Pros –
Great natural sound. no boosted base or anything. hear music way it was made.
At 300gm they are heavier than other products in market, but their cushions and headband are comfortable, and you hardly feel the weight.
Bluetooth connectivity is seamless.
As with most Amazon products it arrived in good packaging. Product itself has been packed very well.
Cons –
Touch function is not fully accurate or sensitive. but that hardly matters as you can control everything from phone anyway.
I was looking for a replacement for my Y50BT headphones which have served me well for four years. The K371 do not disappoint in the sound quality stakes. They are up there with the mighty K240 in terms of long term wearability so let’s get the minus points out of the way. You can’t receive/answer calls through them. Personally, I have no problem there. Plus points: You get studio quality wearability and sound dynamics in a pair of cans that won’t attract your average mugger. Also in the box is a mini XLR to 3.5 Jack lead for if you want to hard connect. Recharging is via a standard mini USB lead. (Supplied). I suppose I’m biased by having four pairs of AKGs around the house but you’ll be hard pushed to beat them for the price.
Before the actual review I would like to mention I tried the headphones as a Casual User for playing games ,movies ,video editing and I’m no professional soundguy.
This headphones is made up of good quality plastic ,so little to no creaking sounds .As you can see the band adjustment has very little support its doing fine but I do worry a little bit
The wired mode is 2x times better than the Bluetooth mode in terms of sound , Bluetooth sounds little better than Bluetooth headphones which cost 4k , But I’m totally impressed with the wired sound . Bluetooth doesn’t have the latest aptex codec but AAC does the job and there is little to no lag in watching videos and playing games .
The ear cushions are comfortable you can use them for 3 hours full sessions and then a 2-3 min brake will again get you the same comfort. The cushions provide good passive noise cancellation.
In Bluetooth mode ,after 10-15 min of inactivity the headphones turn off which is a little bummer but not a deal breaker for most of us .
Speaking of sound quality it don’t have heavy bass as it’s an studio headphones, but everything is balanced !
I was able to hear some sounds which I was unable to hear in my old cheaper headphones.
Mic is decent, but you can use it only in Bluetooth mode, when wired you can’t use your mic !
Overall the product is nice ,it’ll definitely be a upgrade if you come from cheaper headphones or new to headphones!
I absolutely love it , but some of you might be experiencing that your left ear is touching the driver of headphones (if you have big ears ) so in that case I suggest you to change the stock pads to something more thicker like brainwavez ear pads !
I give it only 4 stars cause at first I got an refurbished product and was little sad ,then I asked for a replacement and got a new product in 2 days and absolutely loving it !
I’m speaking all these with one week of daily use for atleast 6-10 hours everyday ,will post an update later a full month of use !
I bought the K371 headphones from Amazon, for listening to music at home and added some sheepskin pads, because some reviewers recommended them, but I have not fitted them because the K371s sound and feel so good already, plus there are serious issues with the delivery that require me to return them to Amazon (which Amazon I am not sure!). I bought the headphones for listening to music and for work, so that I can concentrate without too many distractions, but to do that, I need the 3m cable that will allow me to move around my workspace, without having to take them off (or throttle myself with one of the shorter leads supplied). I have only given the headphones 3 out of 5 for noise cancellation because they block sound in an above average way, but have no electrical circuitry for providing noise cancellation which alters the sound of the music, but may be acceptable to some people if using on a plane, or similar
I was suspicious as soon as I opened the package and found that the headphones had been taken out of their AKG box and re-packaged. The soft bag, plug adapter and two cables were included, but the third cable, the 3m straight cable was not included. I then had to start the laborious business of getting in touch with Amazon to let them know that they had not included one of the cables that are listed as being part of the supply with these headphones and for me an essential part of the equipment which I had looked into in great detail on many different audiophile forums, before choosing the K371s. I had typed AKG K371 into search engines several times and found that Gear4music sold them at 109.00 and Amazon were selling them at just a little less, or so I thought. So, because I have an Amazon account and there was also a small saving, I checked them out a couple of times, reading all the blurb, specs etc again, before deciding to buy them, because the price was good and I needed them for work. So one night after clicking the link to show my wife, it said in large green letters “Only 1 left in stock”, with “used (a number in brackets) from…” and a lower price next to it. So to avoid missing the deal I clicked buy now, for the last item in stock (lucky me) and then arranged a method of delivery. At no time did I go onto any other Amazon site, at no time did I click on the “used (number) from X”, at no time was I informed that the purchase I was making was second hand, used, returned, or whatever, but that is exactly what was delivered, in an Amazon cardboard box, wrapped in a bubble wrap bag, with no packing note, no manufacturer’s paperwork etc and most notably for me, no 3m straight cable.
I am fed up of the shenanigans that Amazon put you through to avoid getting “Prime” for “FREE”! :), then paying for it a week, or a month later after forgetting to cancel, because they go to so much trouble to steer you down the Prime route, yet, on this occasion, there was nothing done whatsoever to tell me that I was being fobbed off with second hand, returned goods, for just a few pounds less than I could have paid for a brand new pair, with all the accessories, from Gear4music (a company registered in the UK and therefore you would hope, paying the tax that every company should do when people in the UK pay for something in the UK). Try going through the FAQs on Amazon, clicking on the laughingly titled “Customer Service”, search the site map etc and you will discover, as I did that, as of last year Amazon can no longer be contacted by email when you need to let them know any of the many things that may have gone wrong with your order. After trying the, “Chat”, option where you get the even more annoying chance to waste even more of your life trying to explain to an unpaid computer, what has gone wrong, I tried the phone call, to a human being option. Unfortunately the person at the other end started off by being a human being, but while working for Amazon, they have to follow the same rigid options that the computer had been given! I had to stop them and explain my options to them. I was quite happy to keep the headphones as, despite being second hand, they were almost as good as new and were only missing the cable which should have been included, but was not. When the operator checked this on the website, I was again presented with Amazon’s stock options, which were basically keep what you have got, or return it! I advised the operator that this was unacceptable and that all I wanted was the cable that should have been delivered, as described when I bought it. I am not going to be ripped off for second hand goods, bought in good faith on my part and bought as new, with the accessories that were listed. I have since gone back and checked the order and discovered that I have been sold used equipment. So although I had no idea at the time and was not informed at the time of purchase, without changing site or clicking on the “used” option I had purchased an item, not from Amazon, the site I was logged onto, but from Amazon Warehouse, with no warnings about how this affected my rights, warranty or anything at all and that I had been provided with an incomplete order for second hand goods which Amazon (who are said to be fulfilling the order to Amazon Marketplace), are not now prepared to fulfil by providing me with the complete supply of equipment that I have paid for, even according to their own rules of “Used” items, which I have now read through on their Marketplace pages! The item that I bought is described as, “Condition: Used – Very Good – Item will come repackaged”. This means that it comes complete unless stated otherwise. There is nothing that I can find on my order, or the order notification to say that there is a cable missing and so it should be supplied! Over to you Amazon, because I am returning these headphones and expecting full compensation for the return delivery, a proper apology and a change to your dubious practises of selling people incomplete and second hand goods without warning them first!
I have bought a brand new pair for a few pounds more, from Gear4music, with a full 2 year warranty and I have extended that to 6 years for a 6 single payment, just in case and it is still way below the manufacturer’s recommended price!
Not too sure about these yet – despite some of the earlier build quality negative reviews, overall they seem reasonable for the price – longevity of course remains subjective. Sound quality is my issue – accepting of course, they need a few hours to run in and loosen up the drivers.
Out of the box, certainly, they have attack – but to me it feels like instruments are being thrown at you all at once – everything is upfront ie. everything louder than everything else! To be fair the detail is good and you can separate instruments quite well, they are quite easy to drive, plenty loud even off my phone – but….. harshness creeps into the treble a bit too much for my ears. Soundstage is about average for this price, but lacks wow factor.
Surprisingly, they are not as bass rich as other reviews led me to expect, and I’ve tried them with multiple systems to confirm this; they yield a bit more bass extension than my AKG K92’s, but I find the harsh treble distracts you from this, and steals from the mid range, which if you concentrate is otherwise well handled.
They are apparently calibrated to try and give the best overall sound across the audible frequency spectrum – known as the Harmon calibration apparently. For me the jury is still out; the sound signature is definitely distinctive, but of course, that also makes it subjective. I’m tending to think because of the Harmon calibration, the K371 may be more love ’em or hate ’em headphones as they come out of the box.
I’m still tending towards a preference for the more rounded sound of my older, cheaper AKG K92’s; those are more relaxing to listen to, even if they sacrifice a bit of detail; of the 2 sets, those are the ones I’m more inclined to reach for presently.
Overall I’d say the K371 are pretty good value for money and they are of adequate quality for the asking price – I just haven’t learned to love them yet. I’m inclined to persevere for the time being, see what they sound like after a few hours. If I decide to keep them I will update this reveiw in due course.
1 Month Update: Re-read my previous thoughts above – good news, under use the treble harshness has evened itself out, and these are now much more relaxing to listen to. In fact, I’ll go further and say these have really grown on me and become one of my favourite pairs of cans – once they bed in a bit, and you get used to the sound signature, you realize their best trick is that they are extremely versatile – rock, pop, classical, jazz all dealt with competently with good dynamics and accuracy, evening the sound stage is still a little lacking. But, for half the price of a pair of my Meze Neo’ Classics ( my personal reference headphones), comparatively I get 95 percent of the musical experience – that’s impressive at this price point.
Even so, I’ll be honest, I wobbled about sending them back for a couple of weeks, but I just kept coming back to them. Even though I was initially inclined to deconstruct them for their faults, I just couldn’t let them go for some intangible reason – the X-factor of headphones? Maybe.
On balance, I have decided I really do like them – in fact I REALLY like them, and they’re turning into my default go to’s – slow burners, but they’re definite keepers for me.
These have a warm rich very natural sound with a satisfying resonant bass thump but without the boxy coloration or one note boominess pitfalls of some closed back designs.
For me, against the Audio Technica ATH-M50xBT, Beyer Lagoon ANC and Shure Aonic 50 this really is the pick of the bunch for sound (recordings of how they sound against eachother are on my Amazon profile)and while the Beyer edges it on comfort the Lagoon’s plastic and construction feels much more fragile and I prefer the functional industrial aesthetics of the AKG.
There is only passive noise isolation rather than active noise cancellation however this is adequate for me and the ANC on its competing studio sound wireless headphones is in any case somewhat below the class leading Sony WH-1000XM4.
They can be used with one ear free like the HD25 though are over-ear rather than on-ear so more comfortable over longer listening sessions. I do find I need to reposition the cups to let my ears breathe from time to time however the clamping force and space in the cup for the outer ear is more tolerable than with the ATH-M50xBT. The Shure has the most comfortable ear cups with sumptuous padding and space however that headphone’s headband and weight cause discomfort from pressure at the very top of my head.
The headband design means that the cups do not fold flat on to your chest so together with the clamp which keeps the cups together they can’t be slid down to and worn around your neck.
These go loud – maybe now AKG are owned by Samsung they don’t have to comply with EU regs and can allow you the freedom to deafen yourself.
Some reviewers have reported build issues and while mine have shown no issues in the week I’ve had them I’d recommend buying from somewhere reputable.
The controls work fine with a simple switch for power and touch controls for play/pause (double touch), skip (swipe horizontally) and volume (swipe vertically).
Some have said K361 sounds better but I suspect it may be a similar story to the Shure SRH440 v SRH840 where the cheaper 440 sounds more immediately appealing since it highlights female vocals but in fact over the long term and a range of music the 840 is more accurate and ultimately satisfying unless you have an aversion to bass.
Some may grumble about the mini xlr audio and micro usb power cables however a generous 3 audio cables (short, long and coiled) are supplied.
So in summary great studio quality closed back sound in a convenient, fairly comfortable and in the main functional and attractive design with responsive controls at a very reasonable price.
The hype is deserved - great sound in a convenient form
I used to own a pair of Austrain made AKG 63s which were sadly stolen, so I have been hunting for a suitable replacement with the same trademark harmon curve.
I saw these AKG K371s and to begin with, I was turned off by the quality control issues at the start of their run. Several months later I then decide to go for it. Oh boy, am I glad I did.
I guess I must have lucked out and gotten a newer build because the build quality was stunning. Very robust, nothing loose or wobbly at all. The sound on these are brilliant with the 50mm titanium coated drivers. Bright, crystal clear, not lacking in bass or sub-bass and is relatively punchy. The mids follow the harmon curve up to 2hz almost exactly. The high end gets ever so slightly choppy, but which closed back headphones don’t? Still, there’s no harshness at all to the high end. Just glistening clarity. These also provide exceptional instrument seperation and have an incredible sound stage, especially for a closed back headphone giving the presence of flat near-field studio monitors. Please be aware that these are perfect monitoring headphones and may not be suitable for casual listening. You’re not gonna get the proper skull crushing thump from the bass, but it will be articulated very clearly.
Over-all if you need a pair of quality studio mixing and monitoring headphones, get these. If you need a pair of every day headphones for listening to music, you COULD get these, but I would suggest something with a more pleasing eq.
Definitely an upgrade from my old gaming headset which was the Turtle Beach Atlas one headset. I use them for gaming as well as listening to music, and the quality on the AKG’s is a huge improvement.
Although they sound a little bit ‘tinny?’ which I think is due to the difference in bass of the two headsets (Altas Ones are a lot bass-y as they are typically used for mainly gaming, whereas AKG’s are used for music production) , the surround sound and quality of music and games in general makes up for it.
Being closed back as well really helps me out as my background is always loud and so they can really help block out most of the sound so I can really get lost in music or play games without distractions. Definitely a good set of headphones and I don’t plan on changing them anytime soon.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants decent gaming headphones or headphones to listen to music on but do not want to spend 100’s of on.
Sonido premium, excelente comodidad, excelente volumen y conexin bluetooth fantstica.
Tried a lot of over ear headphones, likes of Philips 802, Audio Technica, Sennheiser within 10k range, trust me nothing fitted like this AKG ones, really love the comfort it offers and the sound quality is great for BT headphones. If you want monitoring buy the wired ones or use a wire, it does gives a little difference in the audio quality which makes the difference for audio engg/monitoring.
Just a lilttle con >> BT connection goes to sleep after 10min of no use. Have to switch off and on again to connect devices. Hope if AKG can fix this. Wrote an email to AKG but its been 6 months with no response.
I have had these a week now, I needed something flat for mixing and production, these are superb, good soundstage, nice and flat, comfy enough and actually not terrible if driven thru BT (of course thats not really what they’re meant for, but its a nice add on) way better thru a cable, and they’re included 2 of them! bonus!
If you don’t mind blowing another 25 bucks then hit up Brainwavz and get some decent cups, the 50mm pro’s (sighted as being for audio technica) fit fine and alter the sound for the better along with comfort.
All in all a brilliant set of phones, just to note though, I’ve flicked thru a few 1 star reviews on here, it seems a few people have bought these without really knowing what they’re for, so before you hit the buy button please heed my warning.
It should be said if you’re buying these as a cheap way to listen to Britney Spears on your iPhone you’re not going to be impressed, these are studio headphones, or monitors, they give a pretty flat response, they do this so we can hear an accurate representation of what’s being laid down, what you hear thru these is essentially how the track sounds before you add your salt and peeper (Bass & treble) So if you’re one of the bright peppy sound brigade I’d likely stick to something from the apple store
UPDATE 21.09.2021: after less than 1 year the mounting mechanism give way. The plastic headband cracked rendering the headphone unusable, therefore 4 stars. But the sound and comfort were superb.
I’m not a HI-FI enthusiast, but I was surprised by the sound quality compared to any other headphones I had before (including Sennheiser RS 165 which are supposed to be decent).
The Bluetooth adds considerable latency, so for gaming wired mode can be recommended (I just use my “analog” wireless headphones for gaming instead). But for music K371-BT are completely next level. If using on Linux make sure to install AAC codecs though!
The only issue is the mounting mechanism, we’ll see how it holds over extended period of use…

4. Fazit
100% zu empfehlen: Top Preis/Leistungs-Verhltnis.
Very pleased with this purchase. The depth of the ear coverings is sufficient, contrary to previous reviews. Comfortable to wear.
I use them for listening to meetings and taking notes/minutes as well as participating in online meetings, and they are perfect for that.
Great price/quality ratio.
These studio headphones come with Bluetooth connectivity. The advanced battery technology guarantees up to 40 hours of undisturbed wire-free operation. It has an in-built mic too.

From my personal experience, I would recommend this product to everyone, especially to the professionals out there.
Was seeking a comfortable, good quality set of headphones primarily for VOIP conference calls via Microsoft Teams with overseas clients during the lockdown from home. Budget was about INR 11-12k. Bose was most suited but the price was prohibitive. Sony WH-1000XM3 @ 19k looked good but was again, over budget. Ones over INR 15k on Amazon India were more tuned for a superior music listening experience. Professional grade, noise cancelling ones for calls were either on the Amazon US store or on the Microsoft US store. Importing them to India would have equaled the cost of a good laptop.
The good –
Going by the description and a few reviews, went in for the AKG K361BT (this product) at about INR 9.5k. Been using since mid June 2020. Absolutely great for client calls using MS Teams. I use the provided audio cable to connect to my laptop. Clients have never complained about any background noise since I started using this. The built-in mic is powerful enough to capture one’s voice clearly. The cable can be detached for pairing via bluetooth, to a laptop or phone. Audio, when paired to a phone via bluetooth sounds amazing. Additionally, the over ear cups are comfortable for long use. The battery life is just amazing. Easily lasts a week. And this comes with a cloth carrybag for storage, in the box. And fInally, it has gesture control, which I don’t use much.
The bad –
Quality of the over ear cups is flimsy, The headband also feels very light. The headphones need to be handled with proper care. Also, I need to manually pair with my iphone every time I turn my phone bluetooth on and off. Can be a pain sometimes. Also, I don’t consider this set of headphones to be ‘noise canceling’.
The verdict –
These headphones are also touted to be of studio recording / mixing quality but that is something I cannot validate. But if you are looking to buy a pair of over-ear ones for MS Teams calls using your laptop, this will fit the bill clearly. The fact that it sounds brilliant when paired via bluetooth to an iphone, is something that should appeal to audiophiles. A flimsy headset notwithstanding, this should last long if handled with care (kept out of the reach of toddlers, that is). Does it’s job well and is a value-for-money product when compared to the likes of Bose or Sony. Just go for it.
I bought this headphone because I had a pretty good impression of other akg headphones. I’m a big fan of sound from akg n700nc and samsung galaxy buds+ (which is toned by akg), and when I saw these with 50mm huge drivers and excellent frequency range, a pretty high expectation was built in my heart.
Build&Features:
There isn’t qc issues on my particular pair (which is good), but the headband design concerns me. There are only two little hinges connecting earcups to headband and I’m afraid they may break over long period of using. Battery life is amazing, it has a longer battery life than nearly every other headphones I have. There is a touch pad on the left earcup, but it’s unresponsive and usually when I want to change the volume but end up skipping songs. On the other hand, I have nothing to complain about the bluetooth connectivity, it’s fast and stable.
Fitting:
Unfortunately right out of box fitting is sub par, the earpads are not deep enough to prevent your ears from touching the driver, and they are not soft enough to provide good sealing either. One benefit of this design is they do have a fairly wide soundstage for a close back headphone and bass is kept away so it won’t rumble around and disturb the overall track. If stock earpads won’t please you there are also many other earpads to choose for k371bt, and most of them definitely improve fitting by a lot.
Sound:
When I received the headphone and put these on, my first feeling was not so impressive but overall good. On stock earpads they sound neutral, maybe a little bit on the warm side and lacks some excitement of clarity I was hoping for. However all these features would change after swapping earpads. In fact by swapping earpads sound changes so significantly that it almost feels like a different pair of headphone.
Earpads Suggestion:
I tried several different earpads, basically they all improve fitting and comfort but they all have some extend of interruption to the sound. I finally decided to stay with brainwavz perforated prostock earpads for m50x, after swapping fitting and sealing improves dramatically, original neutral sound is kept, but it’s a touch brighter and instrument separation is greatly improved. Just have a try on these earpads and you may release the full potential of this headphone, before it sounds kinda boring for me but after swapping earpads it actually becomes one of my favourite sounding headphones.
Headphone that has great potential but also some flaws
Sounded amazing at this price, but issues with quality control, as headphone adjustments wouldn’t stay requiring constant adjustment or correction every time I put it back on.
I’m very new to headphones. I always used earphones prior to this purchase. After using these headphones for the first time, I felt they are sounding same as my earphones in a cleaner tone.
Later upon listening to various music tracks, got the hang of these headphones. They sound good. My opinion is relative, as I didn’t use use any other headphones before.
I was thinking what is great about these headphones and headphones in general?
I started playing GTA 5 and then I got to realise its true potential. Los Santos came to live. The game felt really different than I played earlier. I could literally feel the vibe of car radio from Franklin’s house. While driving, the engine beat felt really great.
I tried listening to audiobooks and it is good experience to listen. In general, while listening to any sound I get this lively feeling. Vocals are great on this headphones.
They are comfortable to use, the padding over top for head and cushioning for ears is good. I felt sweat after using for half an hour but it didn’t felt uncomfortable. For the first time looking at the headphones felt premium. Liked the design and build.
The gestures work fine and call quality is also big thumbs up. Mic and gestures work only during bluetooth connection. Aduio via bluetooth is also great but dips compared to wired.
A big go for gaming, listening to audiobooks and to feel the music.
The audio quality is simply awesome, way much better than a pair of bluetooth headphone I owned before. It really isolates the surrounding noise so you can concentrate on your music. Pairing with my android phone was quick and the music can be controlled by swiping the left cusp. Though I did find the gesture control unresponsive sometimes, but overall it was okay. The cusp are soft and super comfy and can be worn over a long duration. However I did have to adjust headphone from time to time especially when you are on the move, but there is an adjustable hinge on both side for fitting. The overall experience was great.
THANKS AKG AND BIG CONGRATULATIONS AKG

Love it! Brilliant sound quality, so dynamic. The bass is rich and clear. The build quality is super premium, extremely soft and comfortable on the ears. Bluetooth pairing was fast, I’ve used it for just about 15-20 minutes so far but am extremely delighted and content with this purchase. I preordered it on 1st June and it got delivered in a day after it launched. Will come back later again with my views after using it for a few days. But great job by AKG with this pair of headphones.

I bought these after my AKG K550 MK3 developed a fault. I loved the K550 for their reference response, but always felt they were a tad lacking in the treble. Enter the K371….. They have a very nice flat response and to my delight slightly improved treble. I wear them with glasses and no issue with getting a seal for nice bass. The pads are soft and mold nicely around them. To sum it up, I fee Like these sound very similar to he K550 with a bit more treble (dont confuse “more treble” with brightness!) , they also have a bit more very low end sub bass.
I should say I tried the Mezo Classics 99 at ~270 before committing to these. I found the Mezo too dark with boosted low end and low mids. Not the accurate response I wanted. I didnt think the fine details were a match for these either to be honest.
Overall an utter bargain at ~100 considering the original K550 were 180 for years. I think at 200 they would be a very good purchase, I would certainly happily pay that after trying out many other headphones up to the 350 region.
Trs bon rapport qualit prix.

Sound great – very accurate, neutral sound. Easy to drive – ten notches less than AKG K550s on an iBasso DAP. Comfortable, good seal., look good. Great for travelling. Metal571’s youtube review pretty much tells you what you need to know.
For the price i don’t think you would be able to beat it easily over ear check has some noise cancelation and most importantly great audio quality
E uns Picos ns agudos
good sound , great mic , i use them for work and so far they have been great , Bluetooth range is ok
Muy bonitos, muy buen diseo, espectacular espectro y muy buen sonido. Son bastante planos. Materiales de primerisima calidad.
Very happy with these headphones. Good clean sound and very comfortable. Mini jack and adapter very handy.

4. Fazit
100% zu empfehlen: Top Preis/Leistungs-Verhltnis.
You are not going to get a better product for this price.
Pros:
Bluetooth is kinda handy
Mic works well enough
Sounds good enough for the price.
Cons:
Sounds half as good over Bluetooth when compared to over cable.
Bluetooth functions are kinda garbage but you can make do.
Spare Cables and earpads dont really appear to be available in the Indian market.

Sounded amazing at this price, but issues with quality control, as headphone adjustments wouldn’t stay requiring constant adjustment or correction every time I put it back on.
sehr guter, klarer Klang, gutePassform, viel Zubehr. Ein extrem gnstiger Preis .
I am excepted more bass because it’s 50MM driver’s so very big dispointing
And
Thank u very much to the seller’s my refund accepted

I should say I tried the Mezo Classics 99 at ~270 before committing to these. I found the Mezo too dark with boosted low end and low mids. Not the accurate response I wanted. I didnt think the fine details were a match for these either to be honest.
Overall an utter bargain at ~100 considering the original K550 were 180 for years. I think at 200 they would be a very good purchase, I would certainly happily pay that after trying out many other headphones up to the 350 region.
Positiv:
1. Sehr gute Sprachverstndlichkeit beim Filmton.
2. Tiefer und sehr strukturierter Bass beim Filmton.
Superb sound when used with Dragonfly Red DAC and reasonably comfortable to be able to use all day.
Trs bon rapport qualit prix.
