We use this as a stage monitor. Lightweight,well made and excellent value
Good for small gigs I would say 100 people. I use it through a mixer Which improves the sound in mid and bass ranges. Very lightweight compared to other similar speakers. No sound control to rear, hence better playing through a mixe
Was looking for a stage monitor for our drummer and this seemed to fit the bill, Surprisingly loud , compact with a big sound, works well as a monitor wedge. Only gripe is the build is rather plasticky and feels cheap, but then i guess it was cheap. But it sure does the job.
These seem nice speakers, very light and sound quality is good. Think perhaps the 10 inch ones would have been a better option, but mostly use for stage monitors and they do the job. Compared with the other 12 inch ones I have these are no match, but if you need small, light speakers with a bit of punch they do the job ok. Just a narrow directional spread of sound due to small size.
Bought this to replace a more expensive, dedicated drum speaker and this is far better in every way, sounds are great and the volume is fine for me in my practice room, 5 stars
Good – but I’ll be getting the matching sub at some point to for a little more depth. At the moment am using a 500w bass cab to compliment the sound :-/
Wasn’t expecting much but for what they cost these are surprisingly good. Seriously loud for something this small and quite clear at high volumes.
Impressive power and sound quality for the price. The bass coming out of it is not that bad either. I absolutely did not expect much on the lower end even though I got the 10″ model.
Don’t expect it to sound like a speaker that costs 300 and above and you will be very very pleasantly surprised by this speaker.
Well I bought these little beauties a couple of months ago. Good clear sound..loud without pushing it.
I also got the alto total Bluetooth, as I say mint.

Powerful yet small. So far really impressed
I bought these to replace a 300 w KAM powered speaker system, mainly for the reduced weight and excellent price. My KAM system weighs a back breaking 18 kilos (mainly the sub woofer). I use two speakers from a mixer line output for performance of four piece band and also solo acoustic guitar / singer gigs and open mic nights. I also run background music through the system. I was frankly amazed at the quality of sound of these speakers. I was also amazed at the weight, they are light as a feather. My last experience of powered speakers, was two 15 inch 200 watt speakers which weighed 20 kilos each. I needed a large car to carry them and loading them onto stands was back breaking and dangerous work. I got rid of them basically because they were too big and too heavy. I was worried when I ordered these, as I thought they cant possibly give the Bass projection from 8 inch speakers, so I expected to need my powered sub woofer if they proved too toppy. Well I was wrong. The sound quality is frankly amazing and I am glad I didn’t go for the heavier 10 inch models. I usually play pubs and small halls, and these were ideal for this purpose and pack away in the boot of my car. If I ever play a rock stadium I will use my sub woofer, but I doubt I will ever need too. At my first gig two people asked what they were and how they could get some. Match to a mixer desk and you have an excellent, light weight, high quality, PA for almost any pub or medium size venue. Add a powered sub woofer and you can do anything. For the price they are simply the best (thanks Tina).

Different class, excellent sound and power, use for music and microphone will be getting a couple more soon. 10 out of 10 and really pleased, great value for money also.
