Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersMy deck is 10×10 and I needed to get the 12×12 to fill the area. Their measurements are from corner to corner not wall to wall. It protects you from lite rain but it’s not waterproof and you will need some kind of support for the roof if you plan on leaving it out in the rain. Don’t expect it to be fully bug-proof but it’s better than sprays or any bug repellent. I recently has a windy storm and it flopped out around a lot but bounced right back up. Make sure to use all the tie-down ropes and loops.

Beware, once you open it, it will not fit back in the shipping box. They ship it “folded” 3 times but they designed it to be stored folded 2 times. You will need to figure out how to force a 3rd fold to get it back in the shipping box.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis shelter nearly sets itself up. It has tension built into the flexible support the ensures it stands tall. The roof will sag when it rains. It is tall enough that we put it over the table and umbrella and it works great. Two separate entrance controlled by dual zippers. Doors roll up and tie off to make for easy entry and exit. Screen seem durable and fine enough to keep bugs out. We have also put it over the hot tub to eliminate bug slapping.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersSeriously. 360 degrees surround views. Light weight webbing/netting to keep out bugs. Hexagonal, so no tight square corners. Instant pop-up and down – less than a minute with a little practice. Too good to be true? Nope. But know this… The speed is for the tent/house only. It will take some time to stake it properly and sandbag the corners, which I highly recommend. This will give you a sturdy, no worries screen house. I recommend getting some cheap play sand from Walmart, etc to fill the included bags. In order to take it to the next level, get the optional sunblock panels and center pole to re-direct rain off of the tent. Add the custom fit footprint for a dry and more comfortable floor. The vendor even offers optional custom lighting for glamming. Also, included in the original purchase, is a screen repair kit for your boo boo if it happens. No – It’s not water resistant – It’s a screen house, not an armored tent. And for that purpose, it’s about as good as you can get.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI absolutely love this tent. We use it camping with our teardrop trailer. It works great over a picnic table (since there is no floor) so you can place over it. It is soo easy to set up. Or we use it as a sitting room. We bought the 10×10 and it’s plenty big for 4 chairs and a table. Pops up and put into place within 1-2 minutes. We purchased the flooring made for this tent, which I highly recommend, as it is a nice base for the tent so the floor stays clean and provides a quick template of where to stake down the tent. I actually like that the base is not attached to the tent as it makes it much easier to clean! I do recommend using the stakes if you have even a tiny bit of wind as the unit is not very stable without stakes. Love that it’s freestanding without the stakes so it’s easy to move to different locations. Only bummer is it”s terrible in the rain. I wish they made a rain fly!!!! Please, please make a rain fly for this tent then it would be 5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersLove it for it purposes however there was no information on how to open which was the first think i did… there wan 2 envelopes that were found which neither were information on or about this product! Upon unleashing the strap 3 adults and a dog were injured!2 were hit in the face and bruised…the other awas hit in the arm and the dog in her back quarters! It wasn’t till we folded the tent to put away that the strap held the dangers of opening!! So to the company …. please put instructions how to in a booklet with this warning so a child or any dog or adults get hurt!! This definitely could have gone a lot worse! But with all that …we love what we bought this for and will be using it. Not made to be waterproof… is a screen tent and has to be trapped down for the wind will collapse it …it keeps the bugs out and we can have our dog confind to the area of the tent while camping so she doesn’t have to be on A leash inside the tent.

Easy to set up and tear down. I do feel that it could be a little sturdier but overall it’s a good product. We use it for outdoor movie night to keep the bugs off us.

Opens quickly and easily. Two of us set it up the first time. Think I could open it by myself the next time now that I know how to do it. 2 adults and one kid closed it up after watching a YouTube video. Again now that I know how it’s done could probably close it up myself next time. Was up when it rained and the water did pool on the top. So like the description states, this is not waterproof. Only used it once so can’t attest to the sturdiness yet. Looks to be well made.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this because so we could eat outside without being “bugged”. It is super easy to set up. We put it up and then slip it over our patio furniture so we don’t have to drag the heavy furniture in and out. We weight the sides down by using jugs of water in the flaps. It keeps it from blowing away, but the sides tend to collapse if there is even a slight breeze because we can’t use the ropes to secure them on the patio. If this was on grass or any type of ground where the sides can be staked it would work much better. But since we have to take it down each night the super easy set up is a plus to this one. It doesn’t even come close to folding up to fit in the bag which does make me wonder what I am going to do with it this winter.

This has come at such a needed time in the UK heat wave warning and it provides a nice shade away from the sun. The mesh on the sides allows a nice breeze but also keeps flies away. I got 10×10 and assembled it alone easily. It also folds away easily when not needed and don’t take much space. It’s value for money for such a good item and you can move it around the garden and set it anywhere you want depending on the sun position.

I did a lot of research for a screen house to use while camping. This was amazingly quick to set-up and take down. I couldn’t rate it higher for water resistance as we had no rain while using it. For the ease of set-up, quality and price I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase.

If I could change or update this item another side or two for venting/airflow. The netting definitely keeps bugs out but on a hot summer day could’ve used more airflow. There is no bottom which is nice because you can put it over yourself and chairs. If for kids, a tent base would’ve been nice to have in my situation.

Flaps for additional shade. I was able to push a stroller and carry this for a mile on may own but if there were 2 straps to carry like a backpack it’d have been easier.

I was quite sceptical about this product even though I had read all the reviews and looked at the Alvantor site, but it is really easy to put up and it folds away very quickly and easily back in to its packaging. It’s robust and we found it great last summer to shelter in and read our books etc.

This is one of my favorite finds I put it on my deck with a hot tub and large hammock chair and another chair and put lights on the outside. I should have gone for the 12×12 or 15×15 but the 10×10 was affordable and fits for what I need til i can afford the bigger one and I will surely get the same type and brand!

If you’re looking for something that’s quick to assemble and quick to break down, then this is for you!! One person can handle this. It’s lightweight to move and lift and keeps the bugs out! It’s not waterproof. Not intended for that. I like that it’s sealing from top to bottom. Unlike typical pop-ups and screen houses, there’s no gaps for bugs to fly in.

I have the 10 x 10. Three adults, three folding chairs and a bistro table can fit comfortably. Four people, a card playing table and chairs can work too! I love the carrying bag too! Easy to take with you anywhere.

I love it!! A little pricey, but what isn’t these days. Nothing like anything I’ve seen.

he 10 x 10 fits a round tabela and 4 chairs with room for maybe one more. if you put and umbrella in it, it will help with the rain if you are leaving it up. it has already rained and it was fine. I also put bricks in the sandbags to keep it anchored and the winds did not even move it. we used it the first night we had it and we were bug free. that is the reason i got it. we could never sit outside at nite and now we can. i am looking forward to a bug free summer and i plan to only take it down when it starts to get too cold to stay out at nite. i am very happy with my purchase and i would recommend whatever size you need to buy it if you do not want bugs to bother you

High praise for the inventor of this tent!

This tent is sooo easy to put up! 30 seconds to pull it out of the bag and put it up. Same time to put away. And a 10 year old could do it. Sure if you want to secure it for wind, its more effort but that should only be needed in some situations. I also like how i can change the shape with a flick of the hand.

I do wish it had a floor. It seems technically feasible to have a floor. I guess the only issue with a built in floor would be you would loose some of the shape flexibility and could be a durability failure. Maybe it could have some elasticity. The floor wouldn’t want to be waterproof. Just dirt and bug proof. I guess i would buy a zip-in floor for it if given the option.

For what it is and does it’s a pretty flawless design. It does buckle in a stiff or gusty breeze but if properly tied down it will pop back into shape. We have our tied to the deck railings and only take it down when there is going to be a lot of wind. Future weak points will probably be the zippers. 5 STARS if they come through with the $30 dollar gift card you’re supposed to get when you activate your warranty. Also cats love i

Very happy with this product so far, easy to assemble and seems well made, material and frame made of durable material . Only surprise was it will slightly collapse on the windward side and will need to be pulled back to shape, perhaps the poles could have been slightly thicker, to enable it to stand back up on its own? Otherwise, keeps the flys out and it is pleasing to the eyes. Well done Alcantara.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI thought it would be hard to fold back up but it takes 30 seconds to set up and 2 minutes to fold back up and put in the bag. I was very pleased with this. Doesn’t weigh much. It is a little awkward to carry around because it’s about 3 feet wide folded up, but totally worth it for easy set up and fold away. The bag has a carrying strap to throw over your shoulder. You can order panels to hang up on the sides to block the sun, which was perfect because the sun is not always directly above us. Sooo much better than those 60 lb portable canopies threat break my shoulder trying to tote.

I’ve bought several gazebos this year due to wind issues.
I’m currently using the bubble tent for my portable hot tub. Since the tent was not waterproof, I bought another gazebo for my outdoor furniture.

Purchased the Alvantor Screen House Room Outdoor Camping Tent Canopy Gazebos 10’x10′ in size several weeks ago. It is a truly instant Pop Up & Pop Down Tent. After removed from shipping box, it took about 3.5 minutes to set it up. However, it should be very careful for the first time to open it up because the tent was wrapped in factory very tight. After the first pop up, you can just use figure 8 method to pop down the tent for storage. This tent will block the insects for sure. There are some sandbags (empty) and metal stakes come with the tent also. It is noted that it will get little hotter inside the tent due to the screen walls. It would be better if you use a small fan inside the tent. Recommend!

This tent has been great for my backyard. It is very easy to assemble and can be put up and taken down in a few minutes. I have left this tent out in a few rain storms and severe weather and it has held up well. I love that the tent keeps the bugs away from me when I am outside and provides shade on sunny days. On windy days the top of the tent will move with the wind, but it stays put as long as it’s tied down properly.

We bought this to surround our new 2m x 2m hot tub to stop the bugs in the evenings.

It fits perfectly, is sturdy enough, flexible with the dual openings, and so easy to “open”.

No idea how to put it away yet, but probably wont be.

    Comes with everything you need.

You get what you pay for in a positive way. Not a cheap chinese product. Very impressed.

I’m using the screen tent as my “Living room” while car camping. It provides essential shade from the heat of the day and for that I’m grateful. The instructions tell you to use every corner steak and every tie-down on all six sides. I do that!
Without wind this is a great set up and I even bought the shade panels which are semi easy to hang but don’t always stay up!
The real problem is even with all six ground corners and ceiling corners attached, if there is wind it collapses! I haven’t had it yet in any rooms but I’m suspecting because the sides are slanted out, rain would get it.

My overall rating is that it is OK but problematic at times.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWell let me say first off my #1 concern was how difficult it would be to take back down and get into that carrying case… I figured it would take me 30 minutes to figure it out… but honestly 1st time without even really looking at instructions it took me like 5 min… the next time 30 seconds… You just have all the stakes out of ground, and the door zipped closed, push it back into itself… fold the left and right closed over the door and twist into figure 8 and voila… you are ready to strap it and put it in the bag… (Way EZ Shockingly)….

QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY… This thing is built extremely well from the mesh (extremely high quality nice tight micro fiber that definitely looks military grade and i think would keep out noseeums which is saying something)… the zippers and connecting materials are solid and do not feel flimsy… It comes with ground stakes and sand bags…. and a nice carry case for the stakes as well as a nice carrying case for the entire screenhouse… The only minor minor minor wish is there aren’t enough stakes to leverage all the tie down points and ropes on the screen house. (That’s ok i just added some)…. You have i think 7 stake/sand bag points on the base and then another 4 or so upper tight lines for windy situations… Which is fantastic just wish they threw in a few more stakes to leverage them all.

The specs say 22 lbs… but it sure doesn’t feel like 22lbs.

Just chill in the garden with ours. Quality ok. You need to use the guylines as a stiff breeze causes parts to fold in, but they pop out easily enough. Be warned, dogs and cats can’t see the mesh netting and will run into it, so get them used to it being there and show them the entrances.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersEasy to carry and travel with. I bought a small suv and wanted something that can fit and was lightweight. Easy to carry and assemble. It just pops up fairly easy with little effort. Just stablize it to the ground. If it is windy be sure it is secured and staked to the ground. The design makes the wind pick it up easily. The top doesn’t really block the sun much so using the sun shade on the sides is a must. Also not going to do much to protect you from rain, you will have to attach a cover on top if it rains, a light drizzle is okay though. When zipped, seems to hold in heat, so during summer it may feel hotter inside if placed directly in the sun. Insects seem to be attracted to the material. I have used this about 3-4 times and each time flying insects seem to be attracted to it (mostly gnats) Easy to take down and place back into cover. I get lots of compliments when I use it in public. Haven’t tried it at the beach yet but would love to try it next time I go.

Golden Review Award: 80 From Our UsersI adore this gazebo. We have the 12×12 one, which in my opinion is the best option for two people with furniture – you can seat four – but you don’t get a lot of extra space that way. It is very easy to assemble. You will need to ensure its tied down properly if its windy as otherwise it may start to fold itself up again, but once tied down it maintains its shape well, even in quite gusty weather.

The cream roof apppears to attract the insects, so I recommend leaving the doors down.
In the rain, it’s not so great, So far , we haven’t really had a problem with rain collecting on the roof and the collasping inwards as other reviewers reported, although we do give the roof an aoccasional prod with a broom handle just to be on the safe side. The main issue is that the rain will come through the gauze sides, so you need to pull yourselves and the furniture directly under the cream roof space to stay dry.

I’ve talked a lot about negatives, but really I wouldn’t swap this for anything. It pretty much assembles itself when you release it from the bag and comes down just as easily, It’s a very good-looking piece of kit and its got hooks inside where we hang fairylights at night and it looks really magical. Highly recommended!

But apart from that I totally love this gazebo I got the 10’x10′ which doesn’t give a great deal of room to move about with my furniture in it so I wouldn’t be able to get 6 people in like it states but I still think it is amazing.

Golden Review Award: 168 From Our UsersWe used this gazebo while camping as extra space/kitchen area. Unfortunately in the first 24 hours we were caught in 2 thunderstorms so we got to experience first hand just how useless this is in heavy rain as the centre of the gazebo collected rain very quickly and collapsed one side of the gazebo dumping all the water inside. Luckily everything inside was already in watertight containers as we knew mesh sides wouldn’t keep even a light rain out.

That being said however, in fine weather this thing is a gem. Measuring 8’x8′ inside it has decent space for almost any use and is lovely to sit inside and enjoy the fresh air without providing the local insects with a feast.

Very easy to put up obviously and not too much trouble to put down (we read comments and watched the YouTube video first!) I’ll certainly be keeping hold of this but probably for the garden with a patio umbrella inside rather than extra space while camping. Be aware you’ll want extra space around this gazebo as you will definitely need to use the guy ropes to keep it secured in place.

For me this scores a solid 8/10 and only misses out on a higher score purely because it needs some way of pushing the centre of the roof up to avoid collecting the rain.

Terrible in the rain but great in fine weathe

Golden Review Award: 170 From Our UsersBought this gazebo for when we have parties we use it to layout the food there is enough space in side to layout a six foot table and for people to use to select food from the table and because the food is inside the gazebo it keeps unwanted flying nasties out the gazebo was such a success we have lent it out so many times beginning to wonder if we will ever use it again or are we just driving it to different places but a really good gazebo almost puts its self up just seen the review asks if it is waterproof l don’t know we have only used it when sunny

Golden Review Award: 352 From Our UsersThis 15×15 pop-up screenhouse tent was fairly easy to set up alone. However, it did pop out as soon as I released the strap – so be careful when first removing the strap. It would have been best for me to set up with another person. It is a large size with plenty of space to move around. It is made well and durable. Included in the carry bag are metal stakes and empty sand bags. It was simple to take down as well. It is portable and fits back into the bag. It is a great value for the size, easy assembly, durability, functionality and price. I recommend this large screenhouse.

Golden Review Award: 175 From Our UsersVery easy to pop up and covers the kids paddling pool perfectly. We can peg a sheet to the outside providing shade. It’s really an 8′ diameter as the pool we have is 8′ long. Kids had great fun and they are safe from the sun and any mosquitoes or other biting bugs. The mesh keeps it getting hot in there and lets them play with water through the tent. Exactly what I had hoped.

Golden Review Award: 177 From Our UsersReally pleased with the popup gazebo. It is incredibly simple to put up and I was able to do it single handed. DO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS as it does unfold quickly! The instructions for folding it back up were not so clear, but I worked it out in a matter of a couple of minutes. Again I was able to fold it back up and put it in the provided bag on my own. waiting now for a dry day to properly try it out. The key design features that made this our choice was the simplicity of erection and putting away and the fact that all sides are made of a fine mesh, allowing the air to flow through freely but keep flying insects out.
Other reviewers have mention that it’s not great in a shower as the centre of the roof is not supported so can fill with rain. Not yet experienced that, but will report back on that as and when! It was never our plan to use it as a rain shelter! and I do not think this was a design criteria! Strongly recommended.

Awesome, airy, insect free garden shelte

Golden Review Award: 189 From Our UsersPut this up the day it arrived, its great, would be better if there was a pole to keep the roof up, as rain pulls it down, they do a product which is available in America. if you have a garden table with umbrella, open it and it keeps the roof stable and the rain drops off, make sure you tie it down with the guide lines, and use the sand bags to keep it stable. Its a great asset to the garden, and looking forward to many bug free meals outside.

I dont usually write reviews but credit where credit it’s due. This is an excellent product. You walk in out of the sun and it’s instantly cooler, this past week it was cooler in this tent in direct sunlight than in the house. My garden is a sun trap and I have artificial grass. As a childminder I have lots of little ones and crawlers, burning grass isn’t ideal. I looked at loads of gazebos/event shelters but everything required 2 person assembly. This I have assembled myself, it was really easy. I have managed to get some of our bigger toys in it as you can see. Mine is the 12ft x12ft. I brought sun panels to go with it however I don’t think you need them, the mesh is so dark it easily keeps the brightness of the sun out whilst keeping it cool. I love that I can shut the doors and keep the children in the safety of the shade and coolness whilst we enjoy this heatwave. It’s been a bit windy here and it’s not moved either. Haven’t had to fold it back down yet though so can’t report on that but it’s just such an amazing product I felt it deserved a review

Golden Review Award: 51 From Our UsersUPDATE: Added a short video to show how it handles heavy rain. As you can see, water collects on the roof until there is enough weights to drain itself. Then the tent resets itself.

We purchased this pop-up screen so we could enjoy our backyard pond without the threat of those pesky mosquitos. We also live near the beach and thought itmight be handy to have there as well.

The tent is very easy to set-up – basically just take it out of the carry bag and stand back! It practically opens itself. One person can set it up, but it is definitely easier to have a second person, especially for the larger tents. And you will need a hand folding it back up to put it away in the carry bag.

The build quality is good, but keep in mind it is not meant to serve as a permanent structure. If you leave it out all summer, the sun, wind, and rain will likely take it’s toll. And that would the case with any tent or screen tent. They simply are not meant to be permanent structures.

But, since it is so quick and easy to set up and take down, it is no problem to take down and store it when you are not using it. I just would not recommend leaving out all summer long in the elements if you want to be able to use it for the seasons to come.

It is lightwieght, so you will want to use all the tie-down ropes. These will add stablity if the wind picks up. We left it out in a really stong thunderstorm and of course it buckled and collapsed as the wind blew. But as soon as the wind died down it just popped back up into shape. Water will accumulate on the top of the tent, also causing it to eventually collapse from the wieight of the water. But again – as soon as it that happens, the water just drains off and it pops right back up into shape. You can see this in some of the videos posted by other reviewers. I don’t see this as a problem since you would not want to be out in it during a storm anyway.

Bottom line: if you are looking a simple, effective, low-cost solution to being able to enjoy being outdoors without pesky bugs, we can recommend this tent. Just keep in mind this is meant to be a quick and easy screen tent for when and where you need it, not a permanent structure.

Simple, effective, easy to set-up and take-down.

Great product, quality in every aspect of this tent. It comes in a nice carry case. Unzip it and up pops the tent like magic. NOTHING to put together it’s ready right out of the bag. Alvantor has included bags to fill with sand and use as extra anchors. It has tent stakes and the tie down ropes are at the top and bottom of the tent. Since it’s on my deck I have tied it to my deck railing and used the sand bags. Works perfectly. I’ve had it up for three days and it’s still perfect. There are nice sturdy zipper pulls both inside and out. It has two zippered openings. It’s great to sit outside, feel the breeze and have NO BUGS! Love this product. Don’t hesitate, buy it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our Usersfirst off, this pop up is well made. I was impressed with the manufacturing of it. It looks really nice and truly is manufactured to the best. Attention was given to the details and it is sewn very well. I think it would last many seasons. If I could afford to replace it with the 15X15 or even the 12X12 I would buy it again. Pandemic prevents that additional purchase. I just want you to use care, be aware of the difference in size due to shape, and know it is well made. Also know that we have had a day or two to check this out .. 🙂 I really like that the screen is small, very small holes and this allows for limited viewing of the screen. You feel like there is not screen surrounding it. You really do feel like you are in the outdoors. It does not interfere with your view. We did get the side covers. I am feeling the 12×12 or 15X15 would of been better for us but that is our mistake. If you are replacing a square tent- remember that the square tent will offer more room, due to the shape of the tent. HOWEVER, this tent rules in the fact that this design bears up much better with windy conditions. We just had some really windy days and this tent did not budge or collapse. This tent is just to convenient not to buy it .”Take it out of the box. Sit it down in the location you want it and pop it up” Done. Eliminates all that hassle of set up. I will keep you informed on how this item works out for us. Right now I would rate it 4 out of 5. Would I buy it again? Yes, only a bigger one 🙂 as I really wanted that extra room in it. Really need to be aware …this tent will feel smaller and have less usable space due to it’s shape. BUY BIGGER. Also the screening rules. It is made so you truly can barely see it when looking through it. Very strong. The only drawback on this tent for us is we did not order the correct size. THIS WAS OUR FAULT. But this tent. It really is worth the money. So much less hassle, looks great, well made, sturdy…you name it and this tent provides it. Update: we live in the NE. Now is the time to take down and secure things outside. This was so easy to fold up and put away. Could not be simplier!! This baby restood so realy challenging rains and storms this year. No damage, no blowovers, not a tear in the screen. This was one of my best buys ever. Wish they had trade ins as the only complaint I have weighs on me. I got one too small for comfort, for us. I like to put chairs, at least two, preferrably 3, two small tables and some plants inside of our gazebo. It is a squeeze to do it with the 10X10. Keep in mind with the design of it you do need a larger one if you want to do as I do. We can not afford to buy another one. If we could I would. It truly is that great of a product. Buy it, have an enjoyable summer knowing that you will not find tipped over or ripped by the weather. I could go on and on but I will not 🙂 I just feel very strongly this is one of the best outside rooms made. That is all, folks.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersWhat can I say the service received from Alvantor has been second to none. After me contacting them regarding shipping (I needed this item by a specific date) they guaranteed that delivery would be made and dispatched the item as soon as I placed my order! Kept me up to date with its progress also!

As for the screen house well it’s just perfect! Self assembles within seconds; excellent quality and sturdy!! Even the sandbags are designed to match and branded.

We were a little worried about taking it down – things never go back in the bag! – but didn’t need to be. It was so easy and just folded right up and slotted in to the bag! Easy peasy and light weight.

We have the 10×10 which easily fits 4-6 adults with tables and chairs!

Can’t wait to show this off to friends and family!

    Absolutely perfect!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt was quick to assemble one person can completely set up. I find the unit is very flimsy for the price. I have put it up and left it up it has rained since so we shall see how the material holds up. I think the first thing to go will be the zipper it tends to catch if you are not careful. I just want it to keep the black flies at bay or most of them, they are just starting for the season.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI read reviews and weighed the positive and negative. This tent has been amazing for me. I live in Savannah south. the bugs are horrible. Sitting outside at any time of day would leave me with horrible bites everywhere the next day. Likely no-see-ums…cause I never seen a mosquito on me. This tent I pop up on my patio and sit for hours with no problems. The netting is super small. I have the 10×10 and fit two large egg chairs, a small table and plants. I LOVE IT!! There are things to be aware of. A wind will blow it away if you don’t secure it. It comes with a couple ways to secure. Bags to fill with sand and stakes. I use my plants and the legs of the chair currently. Taking it down is so easy. if you don’t fight the natural fold, it literally folds itself back together. I wouldn’t take it to the beach, or somewhere i know the winds will be high. But that’s not where you need it anyway cause the bugs are not going to bother you in the winds that this would blow away to. I was not paid for this!! I ask for it for mothers day from my kids…and its perfect.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is amazing. Just taking it out of the box and seeing every accessory that it came with to make sure it always stays up, was incredible. I have to say this is a great idea. If it’s anchored even remotely properly it is not going to blow over. We just had a wind and rain storm and it was still perfectly intact.

The sides the roll up have attachments. You have to roll tightly but it’s not hard at all.

Only con is my own error. I thought each section unzipped. Only two opposite ones do for excellent breezes. I wouid still have bought it, but this is good information.

    Comes with:
    1. Ties attached to the tops and bottoms of each side. Excellent stitching.
    2. Strong bag so you can fill with sand or other objects to weigh down the sides if needed.
    3. Strong metal spikes for the edges. The metal ring is sturdy for each one as well.
    4. Carry case
    5. Extra bags and a few spikes

Finally- I initially bought this to be used as a Catio so my Persian cat could hang outside. They should advertise it as one. He loves it. I can zip him in if I want for safety. That’s a whole other use I recommend.

It’s sturdy and Another use- CATIO!!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSo let my first start off by saying, I looked at several Pop up tents, Gazebo’s. Pergola. Then I ran across the Alvantor Screen House. After reading every review and photos I decided to buy. I purchased the 12 by 12, the Sunshade and the lights… I absolutely love it. It fits my furniture, table and fire pit table with room. Most importantly it keeps the bugs out totally bug free. Now given it’s a tent and the wind was showing out big time so I decided to put up an umbrella w/stand which immediately changed to 10 stars for me no more blowing. It’s now the perfect peaceful Oasis’s. Also the umbrella allows the rain to run down as to sinking in on top. I plan on leaving it up till late fall or cold temps. The sunshade is definitely a nice touch of privacy and keeps rain out (altho it’s mesh all around and not waterproof. Beware of when opening up it literally pops open definitely need 2 people but it’s lit up in 3/5 min. And same for closing it back down. Definitely a great buy!! Highly recommend. Oh btw~ I filled the 8 sand bags that’s included w/sand and spaced them out inside just as precaution for windy days along with the stakes.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our Users***Update = We did receive the replacement screen room. It is undamaged and in good shape. Our neighbors saw us opening it and came over to see what it was all about. They were impressed with how easy it is to use. I’m updating the star rating from a 3 to 5 stars.

We received the first screen house room. When we opened it we found holes in one of the screen panels (as pictured above). We really liked the item when it was open and are optimistic that the replacement item will not have any issues. It unfolded very easily, but forcefully. So be careful. Closing it was fairly easy once we figured out how to fold ii into a “figure 8.” The screen house did fit into the storage bag very easily. But there was no way in God’s green earth it was ever going to fit back into the box it arrived in. I had to pay $22 for a box to return the damaged item. Again, we were very impressed with the product itself. We got the 15’x15′ room and it was spacious. My 6’3″ husband had no problems standing up inside. I will update the rating once we receive and open the replacement room.

**Update = All is good. 👍

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe purchased the 12 X 12 canopy for use while camping to reduce or eliminate being pestered by bugs while sitting outside at the picnic table or around the fire. As advertised, the canopy was super easy to put up. All you do is carefully take the folded canopy out of its very spacious, oversized caring bag, and it pops up in seconds. Be very careful to read the warning label on the bag as it unfolds with quite a bit of force. We purchased the floor pad and sunscreen shades as well and everything fits perfectly together. We’ll probable get more sunscreens to fill the entire canopy at some point.

The canopy looks to be built well and of high quality. The canopy also comes with plenty of ground stakes and sand bags to help secure it if needed due to inclement weather.

Folding it back up was a little challenging until we got the hang of it. The oversized bag is great! We did not have to try to squeeze it back in!! Nice feature.

Overall, we are very pleased with this product. The setup is super easy with the innovative pop-up feature. Love it!! We highly recommend it if you’re looking for a great canopy shelter to keep out the bugs while enjoying your favorite campsite.

    No more bugs!!

My husband and I have a truck camper. So space is rather limited. We recently set off on a large trip and quickly realized we need more shade and some bug protection while eating. Because space is a huge commodity for us, we began shopping for screen rooms that were compact and lightweight yet large enough to comfortably hold both of us, a couple chairs and/or a picnic table. We also wanted something that we did not need to spend time putting together and taking down when that unexpected monsoon hits.

This shade / screen room is amazing and fit our criteria perfectly!!! It stores flat so it fits splendidly behind our truck rear seats which means it takes up virtually no space at all! I’m 5′ and I have no trouble picking it up and popping it out without the need to ask for assistance (something that is really important to me). Folding it back down is just as easy, once you get the hang of the figure 8 concept. It has a nifty zipped case. It includes tie downs and even sand bags for beach going. If big wind does come along it’s quick to drop to the ground until it passes.

We could not be happier with this product. It’s good quality and price makes this one of the best purchases we have made in a long time.

Our campsite is quite windy and our plan is to keep it set up for the summer months. It is great for the buggy Canadian summer and does not take up too much space. It is small enough to travel with as well. Very satisfied with produc

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy husband was skeptical when I popped up this 10/10′ screen tent in the shade of the avocado tree, but he quickly became its biggest fan. By day, the pod (as we call it) serves as his covid outdoor office, equipped with table, laptop and chair… even a fan; in the evening he lays down a quilt and the office-pod transforms into his yoga space. Only the mosquitoes dislike it.

Being July in coastal Florida, I have been impressed at how resilient the structure is: I’ve seen it nearly flattened by wind and rain, but it just pops right back into position with only a tiny bit of help. Water will collect on the “roof” if it isn’t pummelled by wind, but it’s no trouble to poof it back up. The sand bags were a surprise bonus, but so far the tent pegs do their job just fine. The screening even survived the climbing efforts of our portly cat (but I hope this won’t happen again!)

The only suggestion we have would be to add some sort of velcro closure in addition to the zippers – although they work fine, it can be irritating to zip between each quick trip inside for coffee or bathroom breaks. We haven’t taken it down yet, so I can’t address the ease/difficulty involved in folding, but am sure it will be worth the effort!

    Tough, versatile & bug proof!

We purchased the 10×10 Screen House to use on our deck. It was very easy to open. It fit over our rectangular patio table with 4 chairs. It would be too crowded if we tried to add chairs at the ends of the table, so this tent is good for seating up to 4. We used it last night and had a very enjoyable meal on the deck. It totally kept the bugs outside, and yes, we’re getting bugs already. I am disappointed on the size of the 6 sand bags, as I was expecting them to be bigger. I had all 6 filled and in place. It was a very calm and windless day. Suddenly, a 15-second strong wind gust came up. The tent was blown free of the sand bags, over our table, and landed partially folded on our lawn. Fortunately, the screens were not torn. We now know we will not be able to use the tent even on lightly windy days. At the end of the day, we were able to fold the tent and put it back in the bag fairly easily. I suppose one person could do this, but it helps to have 2. All in all, I believe we will enjoy this tent all season, as long as it’s not windy!

Golden Review Award: 765 From Our UsersVery nice and big, but make sure you tie it down good because high winds will collapse it, but it is designed to collapse so it doesn’t get damaged in the process. UPDATE we had 50 plus mph winds and I found if you add a patio umbrella to this product it will stabilize even more.
