I use it for everything except the external screen. So I only have 2 cable to connect to my laptop, the screen and this. For that purpose it works really great and you avoid all the display issue that you normally get with a hub. Doesn’t become too warm or anything. Been using for 6 months without issue.
Der Anker PowerExpand 6-in-1 funktioniert an meinem MacBook Air M2 nur, wenn er ber den USB-C Power Delivery Anschluss (des Anker PowerExpand 6-in-1) mit Strom vom Apple Netzstecker gespeist wird.
Das heit, man muss sich noch ein USB-C Kabel von Apple kaufen, damit der Anker PowerExpand 6-in-1 funktioniert.
Aber:
Wenn ber den Magsafe Anschluss Strom zum M2 Macbooks fliet und an dem Anker PowerExpand 6-in-1 kein Strom ber den USB-C Anschluss fliet, dann funktioniert nichts am Anker PowerExpand 6-in-1.
Fonctionne bien avec une steam deck.

Le produit ne fonctionne pas du tout. Il y a un faux contact et je dois donc le renvoyer. Cependant lorsque le produit est branch au secteur il n’y a pas de faux Contact. Le produit ne semble donc simplement pas compatible avec le MacBook air M2 2022.
J’aurais du regarder de plus pres, mais je suis deu que ce produit ne marche pas avec mon Mac M2. Par contre je l’ai test sur un Mac M1 et il marche nickel.

Acquistato per collegare Steam Deck ad una TV: perfetto sotto tutti gli aspetti. Collegato contemporaneamente anche un controller un controller USB senza riscontrare alcun problema. Lago inesistente e ottima velocit. Davvero ottimo!
Davvero molto funzionale, con tutto quello che serve per gestire al meglio i vari accessori che si possono attaccare ad un Mac che ha solo le USB-C. Molto bello anche il design dell’oggetto e i materiali con cui costruito fanno percepire un’ottima resa del rapporto qualit-prezzo. Comodissima anche la disposizione delle varie porte che permettono di utilizzare pi device contemporaneamente. Utilissima anche la custodia in tessuto con cui arriva.

Acquistato come mini dock per la postazione di telelavoro, ha fatto benone il proprio lavoro nell’ultimo mese e mezzo.
Per sfruttarlo totalmente anche per l’alimentazione del portatile ha bisogno di un alimentatore da 65W, alimentatori pi piccoli potrebbero dare dei problemi con alcuni portatili visto che la potenza passata al pc meno di quella in ingresso.
All’inizio lo utilizzavo con un alimentatore da 65W a due prese, che per abbassava la corrente sulla porta principale a 45W quando attaccavo all’alimentatore un secondo cavo, ad es per caricare il cellulare. Questo portava a errori sul portatile di lavoro (un HP Elitebook 13″), invece continuava a funzionare sul portatile personale (Lenovo X395).
Ho risolto attaccandolo ad un alimentatore 65W dedicato, l’anker nano II acquistato sempre qui.

I love Anker products as they mostly just work. This one is no exception and performs all its tasks without issue. HDMI is limited to 4K 30Hz (or 2K 60Hz) but that is normal for these types of USB-C hubs (it’s not Thunberbolt 3). It does get too hot for peace of mind though when used in power pass-though mode so there is one star lost for that. I stopped using the power pass-through function and connect power separately to my MacBook to prevent this hub from getting uncomfortably hot. To be fair the hub comes with a note stating that it is normal for it to get hot but I am still uncomfortable to use this as a 24/7 solution running at these high temps.
Small but one of the few hubs organised for USB C. Works great, although charging is slower than direct 45W input. Aside from that it’s perfect and really compact.

I brought a cheaper version and although in mist day to day use it was fine if failed badly when downloading large files Nd streaming. This product passed in all respects. Recommended.

I have two screens and only one monitor port on the laptop. This it would seem is the answer and is great in the home office when I have a work and personal laptop and don’t want to change all the cables every time.

Compatible mac book air m1 mais le connecteur rentre difficilement dans le mac, il est ensuite difficile a extraire. Probleme de tolerances de fabrication?
Wasn’t 100% sure on it’s compatibility with the original 13″ MacBook Pro charger which is rated at 61W, information I could find online appeared to conflict.
I can, however, confirm that I am still able to charge my MBP using this hub and the original charger, albeit slightly slower. Using a USB meter I can see that the hub uses around 12W of power, and I had no complaints from my MBP about the slower charge rate.
Anker also say that the non PD USB-C connector is not suitable for charging, however when connecting my iPad Air via this port, and using Sidecar for a second display, it does appear to pass charge to the iPad without issue.
All in all, although it was a slightly hesitant purchase it has proved to be exactly what I needed, and has given me a much needed extra USB-C port for my MBP, and will be replacing an Anker 5 in 1 USB-C Hub I had previously purchased.

Be aware of the limitations:
– You cannot charge a phone via the hub
– HDMI is a “pass through” so will not give you a second monitor on Macbook M1 (you’ll need to get a USB to HDMI box such as Pluggable UGA-3000 for that)
– The USB-A and USB-C data ports do not support media display or charging.
Met name grote aanrader voor laptops gevoed worden via de (speciale ingaande) usb-c voedingspoort erop. Handig voor het opladen van je laptop/tablet en voedig voor de aangesloten USB apparaten die veel stroom nodig hebben (bijvoorbeeld externe roterende harddisks).
Ethernet en usb-a en usb-c poorten werken perfect (enkele weken in gebruik), iedere keer weer. Ook onder Linux en daar zijn mijn ervaringen met andere soortgelijke adaptors zeker al minder geweest. Andere poorten heb ik er niet van nodig maar verwacht dat die ook goed werken.

Das Gert ist einfach eine Klasse fr sich. Solides Metallgehuse und ummanteltes Kabel. Die Anschlussmglichkeiten sind fr den Preis super. Having bought a laptop with very few ports, but having a USB C port, I found this device handled my network, video, DVD and USB devices all in one go. Very portable, even comes with a poach. Excellent value for money.
Good quality, very compact and all functions works well.
Downside: high energy consumption 15w, you will need a powerful charger the one that comes with iPad won’t power the hub and the iPad.
The shape is odd all curved it is anatomical but hard to Velcro glue into the back of ipad
I use this on a Dell Latitude 7285 and I don’t have any complains really. It charges my laptop through the PD, I connect to an external monitor via a regular HDMI cable, external webcam, and mouse and Cat6 cable. Been using it daily since October. My only complain, which is really insignificant is that I can’t charge my Apple watch via the hub – found the reason why, moved to another power adapter, all good.
I purchased it for my M1 MacBook Air (having two USB-C/Thunderbolt ports plus one 3.5mm jack only). For this type of MacBook this Anker hub is the perfect companion.

Great little device to connect my new laptop to monitor and network with one plug. No setup needed it was plug and play. Allows me to easily switch between work and home laptops. Video went a bit fritzy after a couple of months but a quick email to Anker support and a replacement arrived in a couple of days. Couldn’t have been handled better. Just be aware you will need a decent power supply as this sucks up some power leaving less for powering your laptop.

Handy device for sharing screens mouse monitor and keyboard with two different computers (one Mac one Windows). I have not checked the power delivery but performs well for what I use it for. Nice compact device. Looks good. I would prefer a longer cable but cannot complain as the product is as described.
Anker hat sich ber die Jahre zu recht einen guten Ruf fr Zubehr erworben. Der Adapter tut am Macbook (2018) exakt was er soll, ohne Gemache und Gefummel, fasst sich gut an und ist praktisch in der Handhabung.

Ich habe die Dockingstation light jetzt seit ein paar Tagen im Einsatz und bis jetzt funktioniert alles sehr gut mit meinem Business-Notebook. Die PowerSupply kann ich aus nachvollziehbaren Grnden nicht ausprobieren, auch das Ethernet habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Alle anderen Anschlsse (Maus, Keyboard, HDMI) funktionieren prima. Das Anschlusskabel ist fr meinen Geschmack etwas kurz geraten und der Powerexpand braucht durch die Anordnung der Anschlsse auch relativ viel Platz auf dem Tisch, obwohl das Gert an sich sehr schmal ist.
This is an excellent product. The build quality is great and it has a small footprint. I have a surface pro 7 plus with a terabyte SSD but the usb power output of the surface pro’s are very limited. With this Anker device, you do not need a Microsoft Surface Dock 2 that will cost you a fortune. The Anker costs but a fraction of that, is way less bulky and allows you to connect an external screen and two large SSD drives to move files around, there is also a ethernet input connection (and a wired printer).
I bought this to for work and travel and I have a surface dock 2 at home that I am seriously thinking of selling to buy another Anker and put money in my pockets.
Ich verwende Anker-Produkte bereits seit Jahren und nachdem ich vor ein paar Monaten auf einen Laptop mit USB-C gewechselt bin, brauchte ich so langsam auch mal ein Adapter fr USB, Ethernet und DP-Port bzw. hier habe ich eine USB-C Schnittstelle gesucht.
Die meisten Artikel, die ich mir hier auf Amazon angesehen habe, waren etwas zu gro oder nicht optimal dargestellt oder waren zu viele Ports dabei.
Dann gab es bei der Konkurrenz auch noch Rezessionen, bei denen das Abwgen zwischen Artikel schwer war.
Ich habe mich nach langem suchen dann einfach wieder bei Anker umgeschaut.
1. Top Auswahl, da es X Versionen gibt fr quasi jeden Nutzertyp
2. Etwas teurer als der Markt aber dafr wei ich das die Qualitt stimmt
3. Ich wei das Anker einen sehr guten Kundensupport hat.
Nachdem ich den Artikel jetzt mehrere Wochen in Nutzung habe kann ich nur sagen, dass mir nur 1 negativ Punkt aufgekommen ist.

This is the 2nd Anker hub I have purchased. Unfortunately the 8 way hub I bought previously was out of stock. This one has all the ports of the 8 way minus the card reader. Only downside is this one is 5gbps where the 8 way I have is 10gbps. Nice form factor & I have tested all the ports successfully on an Apple MacBook Pro M1.
Especially no a days when laptops don’t some with HDMI or even Ethernet, this hub comes in real handy, allows me to quickly connect my Surface or even Android phone to a local Lan via ethernet to get online or to project over HDMI. It’s entirely made out of aluminum (or some sort of metallic material), I’m more afraid of it damaging my devices than it being damaged.
It’s a little on the pricier side, but it’s good!

Dotazione di porte unica nel suo genere, uno dei pochi ad avere doppia USB-C, utile in un periodo in cui i dispositivi con questa uscita stanno aumentando e inizia a sentirsi il bisogno di avere hub con pi porte USB-C che USB standard.

This connects my MacBook Air to a monitor and a few extra bits and pieces while also getting me on the sired network.
My _only_ gripe is that the PD feature does not seem to register on the Mac.
Livraison le lendemain; bon emballage. Ce produit correspond entirement au descriptif fait par le vendeur ; trs peu encombrant mais assez lourd (le prix a payer pour la qualit ?). Parfait en complment de mon ultra portable Asus Zenbook Flip muni de 2 usb C thunderbolt; me permet de le raccorder au rseau filaire et de disposer de 2 sorties usb a supplmentaires (en 5 gb/s) en plus de 2 usb c dont une permettant la recharge Manque un lecteur sd/micro sd mais j’ai prfr le port ethernet. Il est toujours possible de lire un SD via une cl adapte la lecture d’une sd/micro sd brancher sur un port usb a.
If using iPAD pro for video editing great for additional (external) storage. Could really do with a 3.5mm headphone phone socket too though as many iPADs now are only wireless and some of those can have latency which is really a problem for video editing with nice but old headphones. HOWEVER be sure to read the warning about requiring a 65W power adapter for pass through charging. The iPAD charger which comes with the iPAD Pro is only 20W so doesn’t work hence additional bits are needed as video editing on iPAD is very power hungry…
Bought to use with an M1 Mac – and the constant need for dongles. Useful, providing USB-C with Power Delivery (but not video on USB-C), HDMI, USB-A and Ethernet, all work well with the Mac. My configuration generally uses PD, HDMI and USB-A chained to a secondary hub. Could do with a couple more ports as standard (there are more expensive versions for that). Can get a little warm during PD (noted on the sticker attached to it), but not hot. Also works well as a portable unpowered adaptor. Good device and have had no issues.
I bought this to connect my work macbook with my monitor, charger, usb keyboard and lan primarily. It works perfectly and is small enough to take on trips. I use this in my office and have bought another of these but 5-in-one as slightly cheaper to avoid having to disconnect cables each time i go travelling.
As always, Anker delivers a great device. Very well built, compact and easy to use with plenty of ports. Can’t fault it.
Utilis avec iPad Air 4 (fin 2020) et MacBook Pro 15 pouces (2019) : je confirme qu’il fonctionne trs bien. Aussi bien en lecture/criture sur clef usb ou disque dur externe au formats FAT32 et ExFAT, uniquement en lecture sur disque dur externe au format NTFS (mais ce n’est pas une surprise, a ne vient pas du HUB d’Anker).
J’ai test galement le port HDMi pour afficher l’cran de mon MBP et de mon iPad sur ma tv, et tout tait ok sans prise de tte. rien rgler, juste brancher et a marche.
La raison pour laquelle je n’ai pas mis 4 toiles et que je pensais que le port USB-C “PD” me permettrait de recharger mon iPad tout en l’utilisant (par exemple en lecture d’un disque dur externe), mais malheureusement non :((. Du coup, je ne sais pas trop quoi sert ce port …

As other reviewers have noted, the Anker does get hot during use. But, I have checked it when the M1 is sleeping, on stand-by or while the screen saver is running and it is barely warm so I am not concerned. To be super safe, I managed to arrange the various wires at my desk so the Anker could hang in the air versus heating any surfaces it might be lying on.
I’m happy it came with a storage bag and is small enough I can throw it in my travel bag and take with me on trips. I’ll probably buy another one and leave at my cottage. I’m very happy with the product.
With laptops getting smaller and having fewer ports, this is an affordable way of retaining functionality without the expense of bespoke docks.
I have so many thunderbolt docks, USB C adaptors, USBC – Displayport, USBC – HDMI, USB docks. I suspect I may have actually spent more on cables to connect my macbooks to the outside world than I have on macbooks over the past 15 years or so.
Here’s the thing – MOST things you need to connect your mac to don’t need a thunderbolt port. I’m writing this on a macbook pro with this Anker dock connected. Also connected to the anker dock is my Macbook power supply, a gigabit ethernet cable to my router and a USB-C connection to my ipad to drive sidecar and a USB 3A connection to the hub in the back of my monitor that drives my webcam and charging connections for trackpad/keyboard etc.
I use the USBC port on the dock to power my screen via a USBC-HDMI cable (for some reason my screen wasn’t liking a cable connected to this device’s HDMI port)
With this setup my macbook runs perfectly well. Just as well as it does via the 130 thunderbolt 3 adapter I use upstairs. I get full gigabit ethernet speed, no screen glitching and my USB remains robust.
The device gets pretty warm but I can vouch that (for me) it works – why am I going on about it? because this has to be the 5th USB-C dock I’ve plugged into a thunderbolt 3 macbook over the last few years and they have all, without fail crapped out at some point. I don’t blame the manufacturers, or well meaning employers who have provided me with cheap docks – after all, they don’t have to spend 250 to get their PC users top be able to drive two screens so why would they spend that on a mac user? No, the buck for this issue stops with apple. They’ve put all their eggs into this thunderbolt cart but haven’t explained how those of us who need to connect a lot of peripherals to our macs can do so efficiently. So we go through this depressing rigmarole of buying endless docks and dongles never quite knowing how long they’re going to last.
tl;dr – don’t get ranty like me, buy this dock 😉 it works.

I just needed a basic hub to be able to use USB-A on my Macbook Air and this product has done that and more.
One thing to note is when you connect it to your Macbook, the click is very satisfying, small thing but shows the build quality of this product.
Strong metal case. Thin and light design, also comes with a little pouch to keep the product in when your not using it.
I’m using this to bring power, and Ethernet to my iPad pro. I also use it for HDMI out and for additional SUB ports. It performs flawlessly. The cable going to the USBC port on the iPad is just long enough. It’s a pity the carying bag doesn’t close to stop it falling out when thrown in the laptop case. But aside from that, this product is perfect for what I wanted it for.
Solved … for me at least ….Disk Utility -> First Aid
I have two Seagate 8TB drives, both formatted as eXFAT, which worked perfectly on my 2015 Macbook Pro Retina and an aged Dell M6800 running Windows 10.
No matter which drive, no matter how connected (Anker 6-in-1 PowerExpand usb-c hub. or another dongle usb-c to usb-3), I would …
a) not see the drive in Finder
b) In Disk Utility the drive would be seen as not mounted, and would not mount manually
c) powering up with the drive made no difference
Following an Apple Tip, I ran First Aid on the drive using Disk Utility, but…
FIRST: attempt a Disk Utility -> Mount, wait a while and close the error message that says can’t mount …. important step.
Then Run First Aid ……
a) select the show details tick box so you can see what’s going on then proceed
b) Accept any “can’t mount” or “unmount” messages if they appear
c) after very few minutes the drive was “repaired”, mounted, visible in Finder, and all files & folders seemed intact.
d) continued to work when drive disconnected & reconnected
Most importantly, after the “repair” the drive still worked perfectly on my old Macbook & PC
I’ll check out that the drive works with the other dongles and also do the same on my other 8TB drive.
I’ve just done that with the same results.
Really nice product. OK, it’s a wire adapter but the case is all aluminium, the cable is braided and nice and thick, there are cable strainers on the plug ends. The engraving on the anodized aluminium is clean and clear.
If you are questioning the price and can afford it then do go for it. A genuinely nice bit of kit for any connoisseur of pc / mac accessories.
Oh, and like all Anker products it comes in a little colour coded grey alcantara bag to stop it getting scratched. Nice.

Sometimes I fell hesitant on buying products not from the brand of the product I’ll use it on, with Anker is not the case though. It fells much more expensive than the actual price, works very well on my MacBook and my iPad Pro. Can’t use my computer without anymore.
Works great with 2021 Dell Xps 13. It does provide a charge, but is not a fast charge which is fine. HDMI works as does USB features. Some of my older laptops require a bit of tweaking to get the HDMI port recognised but overall it works well.
Build quality is superb, it feels like a really high quality piece of kit.

This is an excellent, versatile hub for my MacBook. My only complaint is the high price. There are several other cheaper options out there and I’ve tried some of them which proved problematic and ultimately failed. Ankler is a very reliable brand but expensive. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
Works fine. No lag or anything and no dodgy conndctions. Does exactly what I expected it to, and has the good quality I’ve come to expect from Anker.
It does what it says on the product description. It works perfectly fine with MacBook Pro M1 chip model.
However I was hoping to work with Nintendo Switch but unfortunately not compatible.
Der Adapter ist an sich gut. Er ist sauber verarbeitet und wirkt qualitativ hochwertig. Das Kabel – obwohl braided und gut – ist doch sehr kurz und lsst sich nicht austauschen. Der Adapter wird im Betrieb sehr warm. Darauf wird zwar hingewiesen, es bereitet mir doch etwas Unbehagen.
Tried a few with ipad air 4 2020. None except this one worked. And it works flawlessly. Had a number of Anderson products over the years and none have let me down. I connect usb dj console and small format usb mixer and bought a 65 watt psu to power it all as apple psu is too low in wattage.

Highly recommend, I am able to connect HDMI monitor, portable SSD, USB-C Charger and connect it all up to my tab s7 plus to use as a PC replacement. I also plugged in a bluetooth USB dongle for my logitech mouse. Works really well, i’ve used other similar hubs before that stopped working after a short while so I’ll keep this updated if I have any troubles in the future. The build is really good quality so I don’t expect any problems.
This hub allows me to connect the Macbook to one monitor, multiple USB peripherals, and to Ethernet, all via one port.

Ich habe mir den Adapter fr mein Samsung Galaxy Book S gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden. Alle Anschlsse funktionieren super und sind gut zu erreichen. Das Kabel ist nicht zu kurz und nicht zu lang.
Homeoffice ist mit dem Adapter problemlos mglich. Man kann auch eine LED Lampe ber USB bedienen, zieht allerdings sehr viel Akku, wie ich feststellen musste.
Mir gefllt besonders das schlanke Design und die einfache Handhabung.
Fr meine Zwecke ist er vollkommen ausreichend.
It’s a really good bit of kit, but it skims 12W from whatever power supply you plug in. The 65W it advertises would need a 77W charger!
I had a very specific requirement for my USB hub, including slim size and Ethernet connectivity. This is a great little product and has everything I need in terms of USB standards, and performance. I have a Macbook Pro 2019 4-port and during the WFH era, this has allowed me to connect a proper 4k webcam and a bunch of other peripherals necessary for my job.
Great product, well made and packaged – quality product. Typical of all Anker cables – why buy anything else – I don’t now!
It works exactly as intended and is very good value compared to others on the market. Bear in mind the hub draws close to 10W, so charging times will be slightly longer and you may receive a “low power charger” warning (but you should generally be able to ignore that). It’s a little longer and thicker than it probably could be, but its still pretty darn portable – it’s not much of a problem to pack into my laptop cover’s front pocket. It definitely looks very nice aesthetically and feels of excellent quality (as you come to expect from Anker).
Used with many deives, its ability to provide USBC power as well as other connectivity is attractive because I can use it with my laptop and mobile devices.
Mein konkreter Anwendungsfall: Der USB-C Hub soll mein iPad Pro an das Netzwerk anschlieen (stabile Ethernet-Verbindung), einen Mikrofonverstrker (EVO4) ber USB-C anbinden und mit Strom versorgen und gleichzeitig das iPad laden. SD-Katen-Slots brauche ich absehbar nicht.
Bei anderen Adaptern hat es an der Stromversorgung des Mikrofonverstrkers ber USB-C gescheitert, diese war nicht vorhanden oder zu schwach, sodass diese leider zurckgehen mussten.
Mit diesem funktioniert jetzt endlich alles. Eindruck ist sehr robust. HDMI habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert (brauche ich aktuell nicht, ist aber nice-to-have fr Prsentationen, wenn man wieder unterwegs ist).
Wenn ich mir etwas wnschen drfte: Thunderbolt in Verbindung mit einem weiteren USB-C-Port (Zukunftsfhigkeit) und einen Kopfhreranschluss, wenn man das iPad doch mal an eine traditionelle Anlage anschlieen will.
Aber fr meinen Anwendungszweck bin ich absolut zufrieden! Top!
i can’t find any information about how much power is the hub using if it supports a quick charge or fast charge power supply (that would be helpful) .
it’s too bad , the product it’s great , i just have to find another way to power up my setup .
Ordered this for my Dell laptop because my wifi connection wasnt stable. Ive had no connection issues after using the product with an ethernet cable. It does heat up a little bit but nothing concerning. You wont be able to connect a screen with this via the C hub so HDMI has to be used. Would highly recommend.
Neat little hub with all the ports I need which are missing from my MacBook Pro, and it just worked out of the box. It gets quite warm (as others have said, it reduces the power going to the laptop). But it’s slim and robust, and keeps itself tidy in a travel pouch when not in use.
Den Beameranschluss konnte ich leider noch nicht ausprobieren. Mit allen anderen Anschlussmglichkeiten bin ich vollauf zufrieden, nichts wackelt und die Datenbertragung erfolgt sehr schnell. Sehr angenehm finde das textile, etwas lngere Kabel, das sich den Schreibtischgegebenheiten gut anpasst (flexibler als das von einem Kollegen ausgeliehene Kunststoffkabel seines Adapters). Auch bleibt der schlanke, dafr etwas schwerere Adapter gut auf dem Tisch liegen. Der etwas leichtere Vergleichsadapter mit dem krzeren und starreren Kabel hatte die Tendenz, beim Verschieben des Laptops gerne an diesem anzustoen mit der Gefahr, es zu verkratzen, was mich sehr gestrt hat.
Den anderen Rezensionen kann ich jedoch beipflichten, dass der Adapter einiges an Wrme entwickelt, v.a. wenn man versucht, das MacBook Airs ber den PD-Anschluss aufzuladen. Hier erscheint die Anzeige auf dem Bildschirm, dass das nicht ginge. De facto wird es mit dem von Apple mitgelieferten 30W-Aufladekabel seeehr langsam aufgeladen. Da aber noch der 2. USB-C-Anschluss am Computer selbst frei ist, habe ich diesen zum Laden verwendet.

HDMI worked without any lag or issues, which I’ve only tested through an LG TV. Everything worked so far. Came in its original box unused.
The pouch it came with is two sizes too big (see picture), which for me it’s mostly useless since I’ll just toss it in a bag unprotected without thinking twice.
On the device itself there was a sticker with a warning label about the things it can not do: The two USB-A and USB-C data ports are not intended for media display or charging. A Nintendo switch or Apple Superdrive are also reported to not work with it. It’s in the extended description which I ignored when buying and luckily not an issue for me.
Great USB C hub in a very neat package. It does not pass through the full charger watts to my Dell laptop, keeping enough charge to power the other USB ports. The laptop says “slow charge” but it makes very little difference and the Dell warning can be switched off. I would buy again.
I use it on my Pixel Slate which due to lockdown is now a permanent laptop. I have connected the power lead, ASUS screen via HDMI, Western 1TB drive USB3, and Magic Trackpad USB3. The spare USB-C charges my Brydge keyboard, overnight. All seems to be working well. I don’t use the ethernet connection.

J’ai test beaucoup, mme trop de hub ou adaptateur de ce type, de grosse surprise, et de grosse dception. Celui ci correspond parfaitement mon besoin, il est un peu plus cher que la concurrence (10) mais bon a les vaut… juste pour le tarif je baisse d’une toile.
D’ailleurs quoi qui en dise, il supporte trs bien la charge de mon iPhone 12 et mon iPad (usb-c), en dpannage bien sr ce n’est pas sa fonction de charger !
I have bougfht a few USB-c interfaces which have overheated and failed. This Anker is reliable and stable . .
I haven’t had much chance to use this yet but I bought it to use with my Pixelbook and ipad air. I have used it to connect to the TV and to charge my devices.
Really useful hub, small with power delivery functionality. Unfortunately, they are now out of stock as I would like to buy a couple more!
Well built, to the point of being a bit heavy! Nicely compact though, and all functions perfectly with my MacBook Air 2020 (i5).
HDMI works without lag, and unlike some cheaper adapters it knows the difference between cable connection/unconnected. USB seems stable and fast.
Pass through charging works well, but it skims 12W from your charger to operate so make sure you’re not using the Air’s stock 30W charger!
Ethernet connection is also reliable and a nice reassuringly secure fit.
All works out of the box without any drivers or configuration needed on macOS. Recommended.
I’m using it to play with a Controller on my OnePlus 8, and there’s no lag it works great on a TV.
General feel and construction is great, it’s quite small, and it feels premium because of its metal housing which gives it some weight.
Delivery in Germany was timely as you’d expect with prime.
Bought this adapter as I needed a hard wired network connection for a MacBook Air 2019. I required one that would pass-through power so the laptop could be charged at the same time.
The adapter performs very well! Using the charger that came with the MacBook Air, I was able to charge my laptop while having a wired network connection and have a 2nd display via the HDMI output. Unlike some other reviewers, I found there to be zero noticeable lag on the 2nd display.
The adapter gets a little warm, but no more than a mobile phone would while charging. I was using the 29W Apple charger that came with the laptop, so I would expect if using a higher wattage charger, the adapter would be much warmer – like other reviewers have experienced.
Overall, I’m very happy with it. If you need a simple way to add networking, HDMI output and additional USB ports, all while allowing charging, look no further.
