Most important for me was the absolutely fantastic customer support. I bought four of these great cameras and one wasn’t working. Turned out to not have enough charge. The support I received via email was outstanding and problem was all sorted. The cameras are solar powered and have replaced wired ones I had. These cameras work perfectly and attached to my phone I have no problem seeeing who’s coming and going from my house. An added extra is that these cameras can also be an intercom.
For the price this is a good little camera the problem I have is the battery charging , at first the battery started charging with the solar panel now I have to take it down every three weeks to charge with the mains which is a pain.
Bought the security camera to use on our holiday home. Found it easy to install but the solar panel does not appear to be charging. Vera, at Anran has been excellent in dealing with the after-sales and arranged to send a replacement solar panel (received but not yet to be tested). The CloudEdge app was also easy to install and configure and seems to be working. Sometimes the motion detection has not been triggered, but not sure if this is just another setting that we need to modify. Will update review after we’ve managed to replace the solar panel and re-test the motion detection. So far, we are happy with the quality of the camera, the pictures and specifically the after-sales customer support.

What a great cctv this is! very easy to set up and have found to be reliable, one thing I have noted that as the sensitivity is increased there is more loading on the battery power so if you don’t need the camera to trigger that often or for minor movement within the captor area set it a bit lower, it will still trigger when needed in event of a trespasser etc.

This is a brilliant solar powered camera at a very low cost. It has the clearest of pictures and swivels to give a full 180-degree cover. The intercom is loud and clear. A conversation can be had with visitors. Mine is located 300 miles from home and my alerts are immediate.
This camera gives me peace of mind that my monitoring works 24/7.
For the price it does what it says I’m hoping it will carry on when we get to the darker evenings as it’s solar panel powered.
This is overall a really good camera. Works really well and great quality! Only issues is the solar panel stopped charging it after only charging it once we have to charge it with the charging cable it came with. But other than that would recommend this camera

here was a little problem though Anran was very quick to remedy I couldn’t praise Anran enough, I Highly recommend them and the after care staff were Brilliant.
Be careful with the sd card, mine got jammed in the housing, and could not be removed but I was contacted by customer service who have now offered to replace the camera, which is very impressive.

Purchased 1 camera then another as quality was very good and clear, solar charge is very good, had an issue setting up on first camera but called support and resolved there and then. Support also resolved a issue with recording to cloud very quickly. Was a simple update. Working perfectly now. A excellent option for wireless camera’s
setting up was okay once i worked out what to do, sharing was a little complicated but okay once i found the qr codes and watched the videos
only thing i wasn’t really happy about was the panning as connection was a bit slow to respond and couldn’t see any return to centre option so had to fiddle around a bit to return to the normal positio
Very impressed with this piece of kit. Stunning picture quality and so easy to set up. I’m as technophobe as they come, but I had this up and running in about 10 minutes ( that includes screwing it in place) The only criticism I can even think of is that it would be great if you could adjust up and down with your phone instead of just left and right, but in setting up you get to set it to right height then so no problem. Overall very impressed, unfortunately I just can’t think of a reason to get another ‘cos this one covers everything I need it to.
Had it installed for a few weeks and really happy. Charges to 100% every day (although summer at the moment).

‘Detect zone’ works really well. I.E it doesn’t trigger when my neighbour goes past it, if I set it to ignore his part of the ‘zone’ (although to be honest, he’s happy to have it cover his property as well as ours).

Easy to set up and it worked great for just over 3 weeks… then it lost contact with the network and that was it..kaput. Tried for a whole afternoon to set it up again to no avail. Pretty useless. Threw it in the back of the shed, not wasting any more time on it. Not recommended.
As an update, I have since been contacted by Vera from Anran who looked into the problem with the camera. A new camera was sent out to me within days and it is now up and working. So, from assuming it would be a waste of time contacting the manufacturers and just absorbing the loss myself, I was pleasantly surprised when they made contact after reading my review. I now give them 5 stars for customer care and satisfaction. Thank you Vera!
The camera works fine and is easy to set up. However I had an issue that it didn’t appear to be charging from the solar panel, contacted the support line left messages no reply. I eventually found the issue was that I hadn’t pushed the cable in firmly enough. It would have been nice to get a reply giving some guidance hence the 3 star. Since the reviews has been published Vera from Anran contacted me to apologise for the lack of service and to leave me her direct email address if I should have any further issues. With that in mind I have increased my review to 5* as the camera works excellently and the solar panel charges perfectly, so the reviews that say it’s not sufficient I would say the panel isn’t aimed correctly, mine is in alignment with my house hold solar panels.
This is the second solar powered outdoor security camera that I purchased from Anran. I like this camera because it is solar powered so no more hardwired power is required. This is an essential factor for being a wireless outdoor security camera.
This camera has an almost 180degree pan angle that gives it a great functionality of covering a large viewing angle.
The video quality of good when selecting the HD resolution. It has a mic and speaker to communicate with people outside.
It comes with a 32GB SD card which is handy. The app can be found from android and apple stores.
Finally the price is friendly that I will consider buying another for the back garden.

I’ve updated the stars on this review after some excellent help from customer services.i was constantly losing signal and after some help from c,s I put a a booster at rear of house and all working as it should.as in original review I was really happy with solar panel charging and it has still never dropped below 80% before recharging again.motion detection can sometimes miss a quick entry to the door but any longer than a cpl of seconds catches everything ie someone prowling in your garden.worth the money for the solar charging and pic quality.
Camera is extremely easy to set up using cloud edge app, app talks you through the process. Camera works using WiFi and is solar and battery powered so no wires. Fixing is easy and all screws etc are supplied.
The images, as in the photographs are good both at day and night and detection sensitivity can be altered to reduce false alarms. The app also allows multiple settings such as alarm detection periods and sound levels as the camera also contains a speaker. Overall the camera is good value and is recommended. Support from Anran seems to be good.
I must admit that I was a bit worried about previous reviews of this camera. I could not fit it where I had originally intended, but found a great place attaching it to my solar panels. The picture quality on zooming in is a little bit grainy but overall I am very happy with the camera and the solar panel that comes with it seems to work well. Of course it could be a different story come winter, but you always have the option of charging it from the mains.
It seems to have a 0.5 second lag from actual to viewing, but that is quite acceptable.
So delighted I am ordering a second camera, possibly a third.
OK, picture quality on your phone is good during the day but only OK at night, at least on my network. The field of view also has a bearing on picture quality. As you can see, it’s well over 90 so at even 1080, it’s still leave a little to be desired but overall, these are great cameras from a company, in my experience, provide fabulous customer service.
Installation.
Comprehensive kit that doesn’t really need instructions even though it does come with a nice booklet.
First thing I did was to charge the cameras up full. The red light by the charging socket goes from red to blue when charged.
Now insert the TF card into the slot next to the charging socket.
Download the Cloudedge app and create an account.
Tap add a device and scan the QR code on the camera.
Turn the camera on and see if it’s working the Cloudedge.
Once it’s working turn off the alarm (in the app) and move on to the installation.
With the camera turned on, position it where you’re thinking of installing and check on the app to see if it’s working. Use wifi range extenders if needed.
Comes with 2 stickers with the holes marked on them so all you do is stick them on the wall, drill the holes and fasten the bases to the wall with the screws provided. Remember to only loosely screw the camera base to the wall so you can pass the wire from the solar panel behind it in the groove. Simple.
Next assemble the solar panel and bracket and screw it on to the base ensuring it’s pointing upwards to the southern sky (or as far south as is possible) and with the wire outlet pointing down. Only release enough of the cable to plug into the camera to save unsightly wires waving around in the breeze.
Feed the wire from the solar panel behind the camera base and tighten up the screws making sure you don’t trap the wire. You should be able to pull the wire freely.
Prepare the camera by opening the silicone ‘door’ and push out the silicone plug so you can push the charging connector through.
Fasten camera to the base tilted roughly where you want it to point and tighten up.
Turn the camera on, push the charging plug through the hole in the silicone ‘door’ observing the correct orientation so you can plug it in to the charging socket on the camera and push the silicone door into place to keep out the weather.
Now set up where you want the camera to point by using the app and adjusting the camera . Once in place, you can turn the alarm back on.
Job done.
Handy camera to have, I set it up over my front door to monitor activity and deliveries, cheaper than a Ring doorbell and does the same job, the intercom function is handy and so is the panning function, for the money I think you will struggle to get better, image I’ve attached shows clarity of the camera view.

It was really easy to install and the ctronics app is very straightforward. Good quality camera, easy to manage connection and app, very surprised by the good image quality at night, the daytime image is impeccable too. The solar panel was easy to charge and connect, so far, no problem with power. I love that it alerts us when there is activity outside so its perfect for what we wanted it for.
Well packaged and very well built. Mount is sturdy and well designed to protect the cable from the solar panel.
Easy enough to set up once the app has been downloaded and can be accessed and operated easily from the app. Can be moved through 180 Deg from side to side and switched into night mode.
The proximity sensor can also be turned on or off remotely or have it’s sensitivity adjusted.
If the sensor detects something (person/dog etc) a notification is sent to the app along with a picture.
Pictures and video are clear.
The rubber covering the charging port and switches should keep out moisture.
Had a problem reconnecting to it one day but reset the cameras WiFi through the app and it worked fine again. All round it’s a great set up and is priced well too.

”CloudEdge” is the app you need to down load, then your able to sort what settings you need and personalise it to suit you.
Only hiccup I’ve had so far was installing the sd card. When put it in. It didn’t go in the actual compartment. So needed to used the mini screw driver set to access the screws to take off the backing to find the black hole the card fell into. I’ve not got a clue how it happened but it did. Something I’m guessing shouldn’t happen really.
I’m not able to see and record exactly where and when my deliverys are comeing and are being left, if not in.

This is the real deal. A surveillance camera which you can rotate, speak through can be charged by batteries or a solar panel.
Out of the box the cameras rechargeable batteries need a charge. Installed at a decent height away from unscrupulous hands with the solar panel adjoining and facing the sun with minimal leads between the solar panel and the camera (though cables are long enough to have the solar panel on an adjacent wall to the camera) and Bobs your uncle.
Used on my external office I can see, day and night who or what approaches. It connects to your phone through an app and with the speaker and microphone you can talk to the
“intruder”. The camera not only goes from side to side, but it can be raised (just in case Spider-Man comes in for a visit). The alarm is effective to give out a loud volume.
Storage of the images can be stored on a SD card or buy the cloud storage. I use both.
I found the resolution for both day and night good (though I do have motion activated floodlights too which helps but the camera was tested with and without the flood lights).
This is an excellent security solution at a reasonable cost. My previous set up camera and video recorder cost me 700 pounds so this is a bargain.
Okay, the picture quality is good, clear for a decent distance. My drive is about 30ft and it detects with good image all the way to the road. That said, the detection itself is a bit quirky and the PIR sensor needs to keep kept clean, more so than say an outdoor light. The mounting is also a bit situation specific. Fine if mounted to a wall, but if you want to mount from above like under eves then it’s awkward to adjust. The solar panels are very good, they keep the batter topped up very well for their size, especially in direct sunlight and there is a decent length of wire. Signal strength is fine, at 20 or so feet the strength is about 40%.

I was very impressed by this camera. The installation is simple. The trick is to make sure you have a good wifi connection. It connects easily to the WiFi network in your home or office. once connected you can access a live feed, access recordings,a simple solution for remote monitoring, wherever you are and whenever you need it.The image quality is exceptional. The fact that you dont have to charge it its a really big bonus. justplace the solar panel in direct sunlight you can place it anywhere in seconds.
I highly recommend it great value and looks great up.
I am impressed with this security camera which has let me install in a location that does not have power (as it is solar powered).
Installation is simple as with it being solar powered there is no need to drill holes though walls to get to a power supply. Template is included to drill to a wall and fixings are included. The unit does appear relatively heavy (I guess due to the rechargeable batteries) for its size but appears to be of premium quality.
Unlike my other security cameras this one is only set to record when the motion detection is activated. You do need to buy an SD card separately to enable recording to take place. It will though send notifications to your phone if the motion detector is activated even without an SD card .
I would recommend you fully charge the camera before installation via a standard USB charger as whilst the solar panel is effective at charging it will struggle on cloudy days if you have a lot of motion detection activations.
Day time picture quality is very good with night-time vision being very acceptable. Mine is mounted some distance from the back of the house and still gives a reasonable image.
You control the camera via the Cloudedge-Application which lets you can do the usual things such as watch live video & take screenshots, but with this one you can also pan the camera left and right to view other areas.
In use you can you can receive real-time motion alerts pushed to mobile phone or send snapshots to email. There is a built-in microphone, which allows you to communicate with your visitor or intruder and even has a siren that can be set to trigger on motion detection.
Overall, I am very impressed with this security camera as picture quality is good and has the solar recharging has given me the ability to mount in an area that it not near a power supply.
This is a review of the S02 security camera and not the more compact, and at time of review, more expensive. Q01 camera.
With the camera itself you get some brief instructions, the solar power panel, hardware for mounting both the camera and the solar panel, a sticker for each to allow corrected positioning for the supplied screws to attach the mounts, a USB cable to link the camera to the solar panel, a separate USB cable to charge the camera battery prior to installation or to recharge it if the solar panel is insufficient to keep the battery topped up and, finally, a 32Gb micro-SD card. You’ll also need to download the CloudEdge App from either the iOS or Android App Store. So, in other words, apart from a drill you have everything necessary to install the camera.
Installation is relatively straightforward helped by the sticky tabs to guide drilling. The location needs to be chosen with some care though as the solar panel really needs direct sunlight to keep the camera powered. This camera may well need regular removal for indoor charging if it’s placed on a north-facing wall. The app is pretty standard for this sort of camera.
Rather than repeating comments in other reviews I’ll concentrate on what’s innovative in this camera and what’s not so good.
In terms of innovation, most notably you can adjust the direction of the camera through 180 horizontal degrees. This means that if you want to view a particular area of your garden, for example, and the camera isn’t facing that way you can adjust it. I think this is rare for outside cameras, particularly at this fairly low price point. It’s much more common of course for indoor cameras. Second, the bundled solar panel makes the camera still better value and hopefully means the battery will remain fully charged. Finally, with the included 32Gb micro SD card this kit really is stand alone. You need nothing more apart from a WiFi signal for it to work. Plus as well as recording locally you can pay for cloud storage so if the camera is stolen the recordings of the theft are not lost as well!
Less positively the video quality is not outstanding. It only records at standard 1080P high definition. This will be suitable for most but bearing in mind this is an outdoor camera detail in the distance is difficult to see. The camera only uses 2.4Ghz which might be an issue, and you need to have good signal strength for the camera to work. Finally, the camera does not appear to integrate with Amazon Alexa, Google, Apple’s HomeKit or SmartThings so it is a standalone device. I’d much prefer an integrated software solution
Overall though, particularly for the ability to change the direction of the camera in real time, the camera offers good value for money. For a small installation this camera offers a good solution. Four stars.
This camera and solar panel was extremely simple to set up and once the app was loaded on my phone, everything was up and running in no time at all. Overall, the picture quality is excelent the video is very stable even though the setup is at the bottom of the garden, over 20m from the router.
Another useful aspect of the system is the feature to swivel the camera during live viewing. This was found to be very useful as our fixed camera never located where a fox was entering the garden… now I know it’s sorted!
I would definitely recommend this system and I plan to replace a few older cameras with this system.
This is value for money and easy to set up the on /off reset compartment is a bit fiddly to get into with fingers but possible comes with a 32gb memory card. You will have to download an app to set this up it works straight out the box with no charging but I recommend attaching the solar panel soon as possible just in case . The motion detection gives you an alert on your phone when motion is detected and you can view what’s happening has a two way intercom similar to others but note this doesn’t track the person or object it only moves when you control the left and right from your phone it dosent go up and down so will need to be fixed to see the area you need but does have a wide angle. You can change between SD and H cable length between camera and solar panel is around 9ft long so plenty to place in a suitable location.
This camera is a brilliant product, newly released from Anran. Having my entire CCTV from Anran which is excellent quality, I could not doubt this product would match expectations. Packaging was very well done, with all components secure.
I connected the solar panel to the wireless camera, downloaded the app on my phone and paired everything up. Instructions were clear, concise and everything set-up flawlessly
Image quality was very good, no lag in connection given it is only running on Wifi and very intuitive app being able to access recordings etc. Another very nifty feature is the PTZ control, being able to move the camera remotely directly from my phone is very useful, and the operation is extremely smooth.
Can’t fault this product and would definitely recommend, especially if you’re not keep on running cables around for a wired CCTV system.
The motion detection on this camera is very good. It seems to pick out humans very well. It took me a little while to get used to the app and it took about a day to settle down to our wifi but now I am confident that the camera will give me reliable notifications.
This battery-operated Anran CCTV system is of very good quality, also has very clear two-way audio. I love the pan (move the camera left or right) also the night vision is very clear. The battery seems to charge even when it’s not, especially on a sunny day. I have this at the end of the garden more for wildlife but also as security as the night vision is very good. I would recommend this CCTV system.
Cameras work as expected. Trully waterproof. A bit low charging power on shadowed part of property but still 20% of battery after couple months. Its realy easy to take recorder of the wall and recharge it at home if needed. Easy setup. Very good pir detection and auto recording. Nice video quality even on night mode.

I bought this for an area that I need covered but it doesn’t have any electric supply available.
Good decent quality build when I removed from the box and set up was easy once I installed the app. I have other anran cameras that are ptz and was impressed with their quality so was sure that this would do the job well. It has remarkable ability to pick up on the Wi-Fi signal outside so the aerial recievers must be good as our internet is not good to say the least (no fibre optic) . I was receiving live footage from some 250 metres away from the house although I do have a range extender. It pans but does not tilt or zoom. Perfectly good to get faces and or number plates if needed, I would say from a 10 to 20 metre distance. In conclusion, I am buying one for my mother who has battery cctv that constantly needs replacement batteries, to cover her oil tank and drive gate. You can increase or decrease the motion detection rate. It does have human recognition on it so it will pick up larger objects like cars, humans, dogs etc but by placing pointing in the right area this is fine, could even be great as a wildlife camera if close enough to the Wi-Fi Recommended for the price, the lack of need for electric supply and the excellent aerials for connecting to you home Wi-Fi
This security camera by ANRAN offers a lot of features for the price — currently around sixty-five pounds from Amazon — and it is straightforward to set up and to use. Although it has a solar panel to charge the built-in 10,000mAh battery, it is recommended to fully charge the battery before the initial installation by using a USB charger, then do the setup to your Wi-Fi and the Smartphone app indoors before finally mounting it in the permanent location. The big advantage with this model is it can be fixed anywhere in range of your Wi-Fi router independent of any power requirements — as long as the solar panel faces the sun for as much of the day as possible you should get reliable battery operation. As well as being able to monitor the camera in real time via the app it can also record motion-detected video on the supplied 32GB memory card or cloud storage for viewing as required. This model can pan video through 180 (but not tilt) and features two-way audio communication. My only slight disappointment was that the camera did not work with the Smart Life app with my other cameras — but it never claimed it would and it’s own app is fine, it’s just another account to remember. There is a low battery warning so you can charge it again yourself if there has been insufficient sunlight, but this hasn’t happened to me yet. There’s not much to dislike about about this outdoor surveillance camera by ANRAN — it offers a very good specification at a budget price and deserves five stars for value and ease of use.

This is the 4th camera I’ve tried and by far the best. It’s on max sensitivity and it doesn’t give any false alarms. Starts recording as soon as something enters the frame like a little pigeon 5 metres away. Very happy
This is a truly wireless camera system where the included batteries are charged via the solar pannel which so far seems to work perfectly despite the rather dull days we’ve been having so I expect on bright days this will charge up to full capacity, they claim 120 days use of a single charge not that it will matter as they solar pannel will keep charging it so, in theory, I will never have to touch this once set up, apart from the occasional cleaning of the lens and camera and pannel, it all worked well and has good wifi range because the connection so far has been totally drop out and trouble-free, image quality is good and I can also pan the camera remotely via my phone which is a great feature giving me even more coverage, all in all, good value, easy to set up, and works perfectly, 5 stars.
Not bad piece of kit, everything worked as instructed in the manual. Just there is a one downside to this CCTV. The Live Feed can be laggy and s as any Video History thats recorded when played back is laggy and it isn’t a smooth motion picture. Otherwise does it’s job. Purchased this CCTV as got another CCTV which uses the same App so I opted for this one as well to connect to the CloudEdge App as I was already using it.
I decided to purchase this as the reviews were quite high on this, so far so good. I recently got a new vehicle and my area are filled with a lot of chavy kids who vandalise the streets and cars, so I made sure to position this CCTV direct on my car as we have been having some anti-social behaviour in recent days in the area we live in.
I already have a battery powered system which works reasonable well but the frustration has always been how often I need to climb up a ladder and change the batteries. The fact that this has a solar panel is a welcome relief. Setup was very quick and hassle free – very easy to follow instructions. Picture quality is excellent and so far everything is good.
Look as a quality camera . good night vision and good day vision .plastic quality really good and easy to instal .
I was very impressed by this camera. The installation is simple. The trick is to make sure you have a good wifi connection. It connects easily to the WiFi network in your home or office. It’s a simple solution for remote monitoring, wherever you are and whenever you need it.The image quality is exceptional. The fact that you dont have to charge it its a really big bonus! I highly recommend it !!

So let’s start by saying that Anran IMPROVED A LOT from previous models.
I wasn’t happy with the camera I got, so they replaced it for a new one.
And dammm this new one it’s so awesome !
2k image quality, 60hz refresh rate, smooth live video stream.
Very good night vision quality, works with Alexa and Google.
Very easy to setup and user friendly also.
Sound quality also good
Overall I’ll give this new camera 5 starts.
Highly recommended.
If you need to purchase a new camera, make sure to get model Q3 it’s awesome.
I own serval cameras from different brands, and now Anran it’s even better then the ones I use.

Was easy to fit onto the outside window ledge.
The camera seems well built and connected very easily to the cloudedge app on my phone.
The image quality seems very good and latency is minimal…captured video footage of a fox visiting my garden at night!
The battery life is excellent. The camera has been up almost a week and only 1% of the battery has dropped. Very easy to charge via micro USB or you can connect the solar charger.
The pan via the app is very responsive as you can see on my video and covers a large area.
Motion detections are prompt and send withing seconds to you phone notifications.
Highly recommended this camera especially for the pan feature.
The device has a wall mount kit for quick installation, it’s simple and easy to connect to the WiFi using the phone app and there’s a QR code to the app download page in the manual. Once setup you have the ability to view and download footage to your phone, change settings and do two way audio calls via the camera.
The device has a 180 wide angle of view, it has really good video quality both day and night and it has PIR motion sensors that can trigger alerts to your phone and also notify you in the event that the battery does get low. Price is fair and reasonable and overall I’m very happy with the quality of the camera for the price.

I ordered this last week and was sceptical at first but was pleasantly surprised. I needed a camera in the porch which I can check on parcels or knocks on the door. This is perfect for both day and night, you get a ping with any motion detection (it’s great as it doest go off when cars go past but only when someone enters the front porch). The main feature for me is the voice control which I can now hear people but even better speak back to them (I don’t even have to go to the front door even if I am in.
You can even swivel the camera 180 degrees which cover the front and right side of my porch if needed so perfect for what I need. I have the 32gb sd card in it and use that but you can subscribe to cloud storage (which I may do) for a low monthly or yearly fee. The best I have kept for last I don’t need to worry about cables it’s solar charged and uses surprisingly little power and I have been using it quite a lot at the moment and the battery hasn’t even gone down. Great piece of kit, I believe you can add the cloudedge app to google nest also but haven’t managed to do that yet but fingers crossed.
Purchased to use as covert CCTV at a remote area on our farm. It’s the second time I’ve purchased an Anran camera – currently using CCTV with a hdd around our home. I’m not experiencing any signal issues which is good when it’s in a remote area.
