I bought this as I have had a few trespassers on a remote part of my farm, so no electricity or internet. I wanted to use it for a few weeks before leaving a review as I noted a few negative comments regarding battery life. My experience has been entirely positive, I charged the camera to 100% before putting it up and so far the charge has held, this is even more impressive as I have had to put it in a very shady location so it can point at the gate.

For the price, the camera is pretty clear (might struggle to read number plates) and notifies my phone when something passes. It does have night vision but it also has a very bright LED that you can turn on and off remotely. It also offers cloud storage, a must as an SD card (it does a have slot for one if you wanted that too) is pretty pointless in a remote location as an intruder could just steal the camera), I have got the cheapest option which I found to be very reasonable.

Bearing in mind the price this can only be a 5* review. If you want a cheap camera you can leave in a remote location to warn you of potential incursions this will be perfect.

This camera system was installed in a wildlife hide as its fully self contained. I initially charged it up fully, then mounted in a place with direct sunlight most of the day, the solar panel then trickle charges it to make it last longer. The video quality is decent during the day and night and its triggered by motion which means it conserves power well. The 4G element worried me, after using the trial I would personally get a super cheap sim to install or not use the 4G element, just check the camera regularly. I opted for the latter, while this option does mean you dont get instant messages regarding motion I was not prepared to pay for a 4G connection.

Perfect CCTV for a remote location where is no WIFI signal available however it’s required a sim card with mobile data plan if you wish to have a live preview.

Arrived in a small stylish box, with heat-sealed protection foil around, so I was 100% sure this is a new item and never been used. The box contained the camera itself with the solar panel, a USB cable, a nano sim card, wall mount and a set of screws. User manual was also included.

Installing the camera is easy, I’ve used a drill with 8mm drill head to make to holes on my garage wall and with the provided screws and brackets to fix the camera on position pointing to the fence with the main entrance and the driveway.

To get out the most from this camera you need to download the UBOX app from Google Play or Apple store, register an account and then add the camera by scanning the QR code on the back and then all the great features will be unlocked to use like, motion alert, 2 ways talking, live preview via mobile internet connection whenever you are at home or away or to save the video footage on the phone. The app is easy to use and very intuitive, it has a greet UI and it seems like they regularly update the app, as I already had an update since I use it.

What really impressed me is the built quality and the great picture quality. The robust built unit is waterproof (IP65) and looks like it will resist in any weather condition. It has a decent solar panel attached to the top of the camera which seems to generate enough power to run the camera and to charge the battery as well so it will work overnight too. There is a micro-USB slot in the unit to store the videos if you don’t want to use the dedicated UBOX app or to subscribe to a cloud storage. It would work with up to 128Gb microSD card, the bigger is better (SD card not included in the box).

The Video quality is superb, it’s a truly Full HD quality. It has the motion sensor detection, this gives you the option to receive an alert/push notification when somebody or something moves in the area where the camera records, but I have turned this feature off as I was keep getting alert when wild animals was running around. The night vision is also great, I can clearly see everything in my garden but it’s not good enough to read cars plate number if the car is more than 30-40 feet away. Also it’s not 5G compatible only works with 4G

All in all, I’m happy with this camera, and highly recommend, great product.

Durable outdoor CCTV camera that has colour night vision

A must-have CCTV camera that is easy to install and is very sturdy. It has a two-in-one full-color infrared and night full-color infrared night vision mode, providing perfect security for my home.

The solar outdoor surveillance camera that supports 4G-LTE with no Wi-Fi, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor areas with limited or no Wi-Fi access. With built-in microphone and speakers, it provides a two-way audio with yourself and any guest.

This camera is waterproof therefore it can work smoothly even in heavy rain. Also, with heat and cold resistance, the camera can work effectively in any environment. When PIR detects the presence of the human body, it activates the recording, pushes a notification directly to your phone, and if the alarm is triggered, the device uploads the video in real time and synchronizes it to the cloud. The entire process is encrypted to protect the information. Video clips will automatically save to the SD card once inserted, and when the SD card is full (up to 128GB, not included) the oldest video file is automatically overwritten.

I have installed this outside my house to keep an eye on it when no one is home. It is great as it provides a crisp, clear image resolution of 1080P HD which makes my family and I feel much safer at home. The built-in battery recharges throughout the day due to the solar panel equipped on the top of it which is very convenient for me.

Overall, I recommend this camera if you want added security with good features. It does the job well and is priced reasonably.

This is good for down my garage as there is no wifi, I could probably get wifi extenders but this is so much simpler as it uses a 4g card and only consumes they say around 1-2gb a month though I’ve not tested those claims yet, the image quality is good and for viewing my garage it’s perfect, so far no issues with the solar charging too and we’ve not had any sunny days so it does charge with regular light cloudy days well enough to keep the camera running fine, all in all, no problems so far at all, 5 stars from me.

I have been in the need of a security camera for a while now but just couldn’t be bothered with the whole installation and wiring, Im not really clued on with all that stuff. Plus I live in a rental so I didn’t want to make semi-permeant add-ons to the home. When I sore this I thought I would give it a go due to its promise of being a pain free setup.

They weren’t lying the setup is very easy. I just had to connect it to the same network as my phone and it was good to go. Luckily my house faces the sun so it was never in short supply, however I can’t comment on those who may suffer short sunny spells. Mine seem to operate throughout the days without problems at all.

The night vision is decent for a small camera but with limited distance. It is located by 2 solar street lights, so vision is improved to the extent of the lit area. You can see clear outlines and somewhat of peoples facial features. Nevertheless its pretty good for the price and ease of usage.

Battery life seems to be pretty great. Its battery only loses about 10% over night and stays at 100% every day its on. Very impressive and easy to install. I think i will add one more on the back of the house in the future. Motion detection works ok. Was a bit sensitive at first, but after tinkering with the settings in the app, I got it to ignore traffic and sense people.

Easy installation and easy to use app. I had everything completely done within an hour. So right now everything works as it should. I’m still playing around with the app to learn more about the camera.Highly recommended!

    Impressive quality
