A revelation, after all those large ‘desktop’ PCs, this one has all the functions, and more, of my previous PC which sat under my desk. This one sits perched on it, under my monitor.
I highly recommend this little PC, amazing value at just under 360.
It is quick, has plenty of storage (500GB SSD) and memory (16GB), very fast start up, excellent graphics, and runs silently, no noisy fans running all the time. Also fast Wi Fi, and built in Bluetooth.
I’ve attached an inexpensive USB soundcard and an external USB hub to extend its connections.
Love this everything works from it but it is compact, ideal if you have only a small space or if you want space for other things. We are very pleased with it.
Tiny which is just what I need, very well built and functions perfectly.
Good performance, good reliability, fan “noise* is not a problem, just took a while to work out the strange, quiet, pulsing was in fact the fan. Would like a remote on! off switch, as have to lean over monitor to turn on. Connected USB web cam, alexa speaker via bluetooth, and two HDMI monitors and got a really good spec PC for fraction of the price.
This Mini PC consumes very little power and runs quietly; perfect for school, home office work and software development.
The SER4 model is also capable of some light gaming. Xbox 360-era games should run ok at 1080p low/normal settings 30-60fps. If you can stomach 720p 25-30fps low/very low settings then most PS4-era games will be accessible to you. There are some tuning utilities that tweak the power and graphics clock speeds but these really don’t deliver much improvement and in my opinion are not worth bothering with.
In general this Mini PC is quite well-optimised out-of-the-box. You might change the graphics frame-buffer size to 3 or 4 GB and tweak some fan settings in the BIOS but that’s about all I would recommend.
* The unit I received had a very noisy fan that worsened as the Mini PC warmed up. It was immediately obvious there was something mechanically wrong with it. I got in touch with the seller who provided excellent customer support, organising a replacement part without any fuss. The replacement fan was delivered a couple of days later and was easy to fit. This solved the issue.
If you have a problem don’t hesistate to reach out to their customer support using their Seller profile page. Click ‘Ask a Question’, when prompted click ‘An item for sale’, click ‘Others’ and leave a message to the seller. They can take up to 48 hours to respond but in my case I received assistance within 12 hours.
I bought this to replace a tower that I built about 7 years ago. I was sceptical but needn’t have worried.
I am a software developer and use VS and SSMS alot which this PC can handle no problems. Unless you are into gaming this can replace any PC.
The one downside which is often mentioned is fan noise but to be honest, it is hardly worth consideration. I would also assume that support is not great through Beelink although I luckily havent had to test that out.
I love this thing and would certainly recommend if you are replacing your old desktop although if you are only surfing the web and other light use activities then maybe consider cheaper models?
A little apprehensive when purchasing as going from a tower system it seemed a lot for the mini to do. Absolutely completely no worries at all. It was a doddle to set up with Windows 11 installed, just a few updates. Switch it on and it is almost instantly ready to use, just seconds. I haven’t used it for gaming so can’t comment but if it works as fast as it does for normal PC use it will be fine. I honestly can’t say how pleased I am with this purchase and can highly recommend it.
Great mini computer, a little expensive but worth the money
What a beauty! Small form factor with fan that kicks in when really busy but hisses like white noise. Added 2.5″ hdd for extra storage – simple. Dual HDmi out (but can get confused if using vga/dvi converters. Good performance for office tasks and came with win11 Pro installed (instead of 10). Replaced a 10 year old i5 tower and I’m not looking back!
Very little additional rubbish software, so easy to get clean and configured. Fast, quiet, all the necessary ports. Simple mounting.
Very small, the size of a box of tissues so a little unstable with usb attachments
Like the small size and its fast but the built in wifi is poor had to use a wifi dongle to get a good connection tested it on two different routers poor connection, 2meg plugged in the dongle 60meg on two separate networks.
A light gaming pc, does take up much, definitely speedy, easy to get going and value for money
This little PC and i mean LITTLE has more power than my desktop and that has a ryzen 7 in it as well, i use the mini PC with my LAZER Projector as a multi media unit to stream films and photos, it has no problems with 4K films and they run flicker free with no lag.
It can play games and they do well but the big boys that need lots of storage and speed are not forgiving so i leave that job to my desktop.
All in all you wont be disappointed with this MINI PC.
Great machine fast and quieter than expected.
I bought a GPU Dock to AAA game on the go.
Love it .
I have used it much at the moment but from the few times I have I can say it is just what I need
They are not cheap But the value for money is what we are prepared to pay for our gadgets
It is very clear a good screen experience
Bought this for a media centre to run Kodi with an external HDD. It’s great, boots up quickly and runs 1080p movies happily. Well worth spending the extra over the budget Mini PCs.
It’s a great little pc but a little costly, it is great for me, I don’t play games, but I do all the YouTube and the surfing around the internet and I use Firefox and this browser eats up power if you have all the add-ons and security. I have said to the makers of this pc that I thought 12 months warranty was way too short if they trust their product, it should be 3 years or at least allow you to pay for an extended warranty, I still love it and what amazes me is the size of it well done Beelink
This appears to be a solid, well made device. Good finish and well laid out inputs. Setup was really easy. Connected a wireless keyboard and mouse, switched on and was looking at the Windows desktop screen in about 10 or so minutes. Don’t connect WiFi until you are in Windows and can set it up from the taskbar. Now the niggles. I find that the wireless mouse can occasionally be a bit glitchy and won’t move until it suddenly jumps a few centimetres. I’ve tried 3 different mice with the same result. The keyboard input has been a bit slow on odd occasions so that the occasional letter is missed. The bracket to attach this to your monitor is quite small and won’t fit most TV vesa holes which are to far apart. Other than that I have no complaints. 4K video runs smoothly and the sound is fine via HDMI on my TV. Worth a punt if you can put up with the odd niggles.
Update.
Bought a Logitech MX master laser mouse and connected via Bluetooth and the glitches seem to have stopped. May be the fact that the keyboard and original mouse were connected via a unified dongle. Only a guess but the keyboard is fine and no mouse judder. Also did a Google search of the issue and discovered that, because of the size of the device, the USB ports are fairly close to the bits and pieces inside and this can cause the interference. Got a short USB extension cord and placed the unifying dongle about a metre away and have had no issues since.
Seemed great on arrival, nice quick little machine. However I ordered an additional ssd and no matter what I tried ( command prompt diskpart, Windows disk management, 3rd party software) it just wouldn’t format the drive.
It could have been the ssd itself but then I had the same problem with an external USB, formatted that on another machine fine, but then when connected to this machine it intermittently disconnected. No hardware errors, updated drivers, even updated to Windows 11 but no joy. Ordered a replacement and will see if that is any better
Edit: replacement had no problem formatting the drives so must have been a hardware issue originally adding a star in reflectio
First boot up was very quick but obviously had to do the obligatory Windows updates. Very pleased. Took around 3hours to set up three separate user accounts and install O365 and sync Outlook etc but now it boots within seconds and sits neatly behind a 32″ TV
I have a little music studio set up in my attic, and when I tried to upgrade Windows I discovered that I was using a really old pc! I decided to give this a try.
First off is the size. It’s crazy small! Set up was easy, and it does everything I want to do. It’s fairly quiet (useful when recording) and if I had to find any negative, I would want more usb ports – but for the sake of a 20 hub I’ve dealt with that. All in all an impressive piece of kit and ideal for my needs.
My only reasons for not giving this five stars is very occasional screen flicker and (so far at least) no way to leave in standby – but maybe that is just me. Otherwise, astonishing.
Really delighted with this product. No problems with initial set up ….. No issues logging into Microsoft account ( No problems with ‘Finders International’ mentioned in earlier reviews) …. No bloatware! smooth updates – ready to go.
Really pleased with initial performance and quality – everything looks good to go.
