I like the fact it is easy to assemble, very sturdy and the birds love it.
I bought this for my brother when babysitting and Pooch sitting, as he didn’t really feed the birds and I think it’s important, especially in urban areas. Item arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble with straight forward picture instructions, good if you can’t read.
It’s not as sturdy as I would have liked and quite light, meaning it was swaying slightly, despite the stability pole. It had a watering station. It’s just as important to give birds water as feed, especially in very dry it frosty conditions.
A thrush appeared almost immediately and house sparrows and blue tits. I was thrilled. Lovely to watch, it’s soothing and makes for good mindfulness. Considering the price I don’t think it’s too bad the birds loved it and feed well that’s the point.
They say pay peanuts and you get monkeys this is a step up from that. If you want a feeder that’s cheap and cheerful and does the job. This will do.
Easy to assembly very good strong metal. I orderd a second one for the other side of my garden would recommend to any one.
Easy to assemble and also very easy to alter position of hanging feeders to detract pigeons from reaching individual feeders – they were taking over my garden when I had a regular bird table – but now cannot land and feed on this one!
We have a total of seven feeders hanging from this station plus feeding tray and water dish. This permits us to offer the birds a variety of foodstuffs – sunflower hearts, peanuts, suet balls, a bug and berry “cake” in the supplied holder and three suet-filled coconuts. The ground feeders gratefully accept the dropped offerings from above. A very successful addition to our garden that has enhanced our birdwatching greatly. We often get woodpeckers visiting for a feed and even jackdaws will hop on the coconuts to peck at them. It did attract squirrels but sunflower oil and Vaseline smeared up the pole dissuaded them from coming back!
Good height, lots of hooks for handing on nut and seed holders, also places for bird to perch. Water dish and dish for nuts etc. very well used. Overall, could have been a bit more sturdy, but birds love it!
Really easy to assemble and the birds love it….so do the cats!!!
