Blackview Tab 8 is awesome. I have always been an Apple girl and still love apple but if there is any other tablet to buy its Blackvieq. It is solid, quick, easy set up. Awesome capacity. This is the second one I have bought because they are value for money. Highly recommend

In my appinion it’s just as good..easy to use screen quality just as good..the battery does go along way too.. packaging great came on time.. impressed to say the least..
Purchased 4 so far, seem to work well, easy to use. Limited backgrounds, you have to download more if you want a bit of variety. Doesn’t respond very well to a stylus , however, the touch screen is fine otherwise. My last Tab bit the dust, this is a very good replacement. Definitely recommend. Sorry this is not a very techy review but I am not particularly technically minded, saying that I am very happy with the Blackview Tab so far.
I was a bit sceptical at first of spending so much on a brand i had not heard of before. But i am really pleased with my blackview tablet. And it has great specs. Easy to use. Really good battery life. And with a bigger screen i can see things a lot better than if i were to use my phone. Would recommend.
This is a great tablet for anyone on a budget. I’ve actually had iPads and Apple products before, but have now been converted to Android. You get the same stuff for so much less money.
This tablet comes with a fantastic smart cover, which also wraps round the back for full protection and acts as a stand if rolled back.
I also bought the compatible keyboard which, when set up, makes it into a laptop.
I recommend this product.

So, as tablets go, samsung and apple have had their day, this is a nice, sturdy, decent all rounder for web browsing, watching netflix, and kids homework, i would say its the best of the non mainsteam bunch, at 169 quid, take the plunge, Blackview seems to be a really make, the 64 gig of upgradable memory makes it a good and reliable choice.
The tablet came with a protective case and had the option of buying a magnetic keyboard.
It has 2 sim slots but I only wanted it for pictures to paint from.
The front and back cameras take good quality pictures and the resolution is sharp enough to see details with vivid colours and a good backlight. The full HD and 16:10 allows for better vueing on the Internet.
The tablet has the latest Android 10 installed and updated once it was connected to the wifi. Once my Google account was set-up it added my account info from my backup without any problem and extremely quickly.
The touch screen is responsive and can be altered to meet your needs. The sound quality and video resolution is a good quality.
The battery life is high capacity although I’m not a heavy Internet or video user.
Verdict. It’s a good quality piece of equipment at a reasonable price.
Good little tablet for my son to play with and watch YouTube had a amount of Ram with expandable memory and capable of tethering and using its own sim.
I never heard about it before, until I was looking on Amazon for something else.
I saw it and fell in love with it.
Although I later found it cheaper online!
Very happy with this tablet. It is quite fast and has a lot of storage. I was quite impressed with the included screensaver and case. Also I received an extra gift included with the offer which was the keyboard. I like this keyboard as it does not connect to the Type C USB port allowing me to charge while while using it.
Some have mentioned that it is heavy but I don’t think it is too bad.

I really like this tablet.Have’nt had any issues with it.
The only thing I would say could be better is the keyboard response on the touch screen..but that yet maybe adjustable.
Love this tablet, two things have issues with, face recognition does not work, also WiFi drops and although WiFi is connected and working, this tablet can not connect, so have to ask hubby come offline, so then boot router and tablet connects again. Our other tablets and phones are connected no issues. Apart from that tablet is fine, little slow sometimes, but no lag running games, had no issues there. Can comment on phone use as no SIM inserted.
I have read on other media of the issue with keyboard connectivity, the only solution being to return the products, unfortunately only after I encountered the same issue and was seeing possible solutions.
A great tablet, the picture is excellent and the sound is great . Easy to use, watching a movie on Netflix or running Apps.
I use it along with my guitar, the tablature music is big and clear. What more can I say?

I am very happy with this tablet, it is great value and comes with a soft case.
The blackview Tab8 is decent with good build quality and has a basic case included . The Tab8 screen protector spoils the fairly good display quality making it look speckled so I removed it The Tab8 is reasonably fast and the battery life is fairly good.
Touch screen good but did crash once using touch memory game. Camera not very good, disappointing as i bought it for the camera. Otherwise, good value for money if using social media and zoom recordings.
This is a nice budget tablet with pros and cons. The speakers are ok only.. a bit quite and tinny, but plug in a pair of decent head phones and you will hear a much better sound. MP3’s have ‘dropped out no and again during play back but not too much. Picture quality good with movies but camera photos not so good. Cannot access internet using virgin sim??? I have to use Bodaphone and now ok to surf or make calls. Battery life pretty good. Would buy agai
Set up proved to be painless, good screen display. It’s early days to judge performance and longevity, but at least I can use Android Google apps and games, which other providers grown upon. I have high hopes for this device.

Have had it for less than a week, so still exploring its capabilities.
It has very good GPS.
Slight disappointment that it doesn’t have a magnetometer sensor (e-compass) which restricts it’s usage on Astronomy apps where you use it to actively align up and view the night sky. (A number of the online sources indicate it has a compass: they are incorrect; probably informed by people who don’t understand the difference between GPS and a compass; and why you need both for some applications.
Haven’t been able to set up face recognition access, despite a number of attempts. It is either quite finicky, or simply doesn’t work.
Additional cable connection provided in the box (usb 3 (male) to usb ( female)) does not fit.
Despite these annoyances/ teething troubles, generally happy with performance.

Seems like a good tablet. However, when it came it was completely dead which either means it hasn’t been tested or just left to die. Had to change to a different plug and charger as it was taking forever to charge and the plug was getting extremely hot which is a very bad sign. Other than that it seems a decent tablet for now.
I had to replace Amazon fire 10 as they kept not charging -no fault of mine. So gave up with Amazon fire. Came across tab 8- Just got the tab 8, so far I’m loving it. Love it comes with a case and the earphones. Seems a really good tablet!

Disappointed as there is no instruction manual supplied with it and I have been unable to set it up, should there be a manual with it?
Following communication with the seller, i happy to update my rating as i have since worked out how to set up the tablet.
Easy to set up and transfer all of our existing android apps and the android 10 operating system appears to be free of bloat ware. Very impressed with the quality of the screen, our photos positively sing when viewed on the tablet. Only one problem that we have noticed so far is on startup the tablet always says that the SD card needs inserting, but in settings the card is shown as inserted and available.
I’m sending mine back simply as I brought it for work and needed something to take decent photos, this unit does not do that despite the 13mp camera. Also it is very heavy so would not recommend holding this for to long and would advise wearing safety boots just incase . Saying that for the price ,if your not that fussed about the camera then I would say good value for money.
Well after a couple of weeks of owning this blackview tab 8 have to say I am impressed screen resolution is good bearing in mind I’m only using it for the likes of Amazon and eBay the only couple of things I’m not happy with is the sound quality and battery life other than that it’s a real good pad if you’re after something cheap ish and cheerful I would definitely recommend …..good luck
but I very easily adapted to this one. So all in all, very easy to use. The camera is pretty good. Much better than my old Samsung but obviously nowhere near the picture quality on today’s mobile phones. Comes in a case already which allows the tablet to stand. I chose the gold tablet and it’s lovely. It only had 2 games already loaded, instead of all the junk that’s usually on devices when you buy them. Already uninstalled these 2 games. I haven’t got anything bad to say about this Blackview tablet. Very fast delivery in a classy white box. The only problem I’m having, is getting a screensaver that actualy fits. Bought a 10.1inch screensaver but it over-hung all the way round. Very, very pleased with my tablet !!
Bought this tablet as my kindle fire was running slow it is a far better tablet than the kindle runs a lot faster and takes better pictures at first I wasn’t sure as the price seemed cheap but the quality of the product is far better than I thought . Exceptionally easy to set up and use ,I have a black view phone and have used that for more than two years without any problem
honestly this thing is immense for the price!!! this thing is fast with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM (WHICH IS ALSO EXPANDABLE) running android 10 and it has an Octa-Core Processor which means games dont lag and apps run s smooth without crashing
I have recently purchased a Blackview A80pro smartphone which I find to be excellent so I had no hesitation in buying this Tablet.
It arrived very quickly, I immediately unboxed it to set up. I found it very easy & straight forward to do so.
The graphics are very good & the unit is perfect for what I need for in respect of emailing etc as well as photos & music.
Would highly recommend as it a fraction of the cost of an iPad.
I ordered that as a gift for my mom. She is very happy, tablet is great quality, it was easy to set up and easy to use even for my mom which is not best with tehnology. Tablet has a good screen size, pictures and videos are good quality and battery last for about 2 days
Everything was of Great quality, delivery packaging and the tablet, Coming from a iPad 4 that became obsolete this is a no brainier, every bit as useful for what we use it for if not more. This is not cheap rubbish, very happy with my Tab 8 and have no problem recommending it.
This is superb tablet for the money. i already own a blackview 9800 pro phone and seeing the build quality of the phone, i knew the tablet would also be great value for the money.
An all round excellent tablet picture quality build quality are amazing and the fact it comes with a case included is brilliant can’t fault it I had one for myself and purchased the second one for my siste
The tablet I received was faulty – a corner area of the screen would not respond to touch and after going through troubleshooting with Amazon rep it was agreed that it was faulty and should be returned. OK, I realise that this sort of thing does happen, something developing a faulty after going through quality controls.
But what was really annoying was that the tablet was clearly not a new one as marketed. The screen was covered in very fine scratches as though someone with long fingernails had used it extensively and then returned it because of the fault. Looks like it was simply repackaged sold again without correcting the fault.
As for the tablet, it is really quite a good one for the money and I would have happily bought a replacement had I not found that you could be receiving a used one with a defect.
Amazon should investigate and stop this sort of thing happening .
UPDATE – After Sales service from the company supplying the tablet contacted me apologising for the tablet supplied and offered another one at a reduced rate. I accepted the offer on the understanding that it would be fault free and brand new. I now have it and it looks to be new and working fine. As I said in my original review, the tablet is very good for the money and I am now happy to upgrade the overall rating to 4 star given the company took reasonably quick action to remedy the situation.
Will update further on performance of the tablet after I have used it for a while.
No issues experienced as of ye
It runs on Android 10 platform , no issue with downloading and installing school programs and applications.
It has clear front and back cameras , once kids competed their homework’s they can take picture or video with back 13mp camera and upload it to their teacher.
It also takes SIM card , personally did not tried it, as no need , kids using it at home by connecting home wifi. Good feature to have if used away from wifi signal.
It also has quite impressive battery life, with combine use it last kids all day with single charge, on night they leave it in charge ready for next day.
Ideal for homework’s, fast and reliable with clear front and back cameras. Also has internal 64GB build in memory, can be increased by adding external micro card upto 128gb.
Kids so far happy with performance.
Even when standing in my back garden in direct line of sight to the mobile mast 500m away this tablet will only give me H+ and not 4G. This means download speed is a laughable 5-6 Mbps. My old Tablet gets 65-70Mbps download!!
When I had a dig around in the settings the is no option to set VoLTE/Enhanced LTE or whatever they might want to call it. Digging even deeper the tablet does not even have the functionality – see the seen shots.

Star rating updated after being contacted by Blackview customer service and offering a solution.
It came next day and was well packaged. Obviously the tablet but also wired ear phones. A charger, which is USB C so can easily be used by most phone chargers. It also comes complete with a free case. Its not the thickest but it certainly does the job.
Operation wise, it has the latest Android 10 installed. It did an update to this once it was connected to our wifi. I had already created a backup of my old tablet to Google and once I had added my account to the tablet it happily searched the Google servers and installed that backup. I just sat a watched how fast it is compared to my old tablet. Once it had completed I was off and running again.
I also had been using my older tablet as a tv and sat nav etc. This new one is so much faster and feels more stable with the hot spot wifi connection in a moving vehicle. It does have twin sim cards you can use if you want to have it as a phablet, but thats not my choice.
In all its a great tablet so far. I have linked it to my car easily with the bluetooth. Installed Alexa upon it and now using my music apps it just plays away to my hearts content and is pretty quick in finding a track that is a little obscure. I am very happy with this tablet. Time will tell if its upto the job next year or maybe the year after. But great spec and fast to boot. Great screen quality, I do watch TV on it and again the quality is very good. For the price and spec its well worth the money.
