I found that the plug sockets are quite tight in use but it works as it should. Conveniently fits under a car bonnet with room to close the bonnet when charging the battery. (Purchased specifically for that task).
Used for extending the area I can cover with a Strimmer, this reel was ideal allowing me to cover the area and then to attach a lawn mower to complete the garden.
The auto cut out helped when used too long.
I bought this 10 metre cable reel instead of buying a battery pack for my Roberts 94i radio.
I normally listen to the radio when it’s plugged into the mains supply in the house and seeing as the only other place I would want to use the radio is in the garden and the battery pack would have cost me 40.00 I thought this purchase was very reasonable at around 13.00. and I can use it for other appliances as well.
Does what it says on the package, with the instant visual aid of bright yellow, with safety in mind.

This made the job easy, plenty of cable for the area I required. The only thing I found a little difficult was rewinding the cable afterwards. It was easy at first, but towards the end when the reel was quite full, it became s wrestling event, but, I’m sure my arthritic fingers didn’t help. Otherwise, perfect for my needs
I needed a long extension cable for use in my garden, so I saw this and ordered it:
– The extension lead came as it was in an Amazon box, which is actually ok as it means less wasted
packaging.
– Quality wise, it actually feels more durable than the other 5m extension lead I have which is good!
– The colours are so much better than blue and black as it’s too dark, whereas these colours are nice and
bright so adds a safety element when mowing the grass etc.
– It extends 10m which is very far for what I need it for.
– It’s been perfect for using with the lawn mower! I finally don’t have to daisy chain!
– It’s also been useful for using my power tools in the garden and not in the shed!
– It does have a kill switch on it just in case, but I always use a plug in to the mains to auto-cut off the
power.
I actually would recommend this lead! It’s certainly heavy duty and unwinds a very long way!
Good quality for the price has got all the safety features that were said on the description. Looks sturdy and l can’t wait to try it out .
Lightweight but perfectly functional extension cable. 10m length with 4 sockets and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Absolutely basic with no extra features. Easy to carry around but not too easy to re-wind. Cable tends to kink and loop around as I rewind it into the body. Use it to take the lawn mower out onto the garden. No problems so far.
had one before…it worked well…..if this one is just as good GREAT !
Maybe pricey but has a safety cut out. Seems good for it’s main job as a hi vis extension for the lawnmower.
This is a great extension cable, great bright colour. 10m wire length is perfect for reaching out into the garden, and yo the car to.
It’s been great use round the house to, i only 2 plug sockets in most rooms of my house yo do it’s so handy.

This is helpful to have as it can be used to help out with jobs that need electric in hard to get places. I have used it with my strimmer and it has worked really well. This saves me from having to use multiple multi sockets to reach the place I need to get to.
This is a decent extension lead. The spooling works well, is easy to unwind and rewind. I haven’t tried to overload the extension, but have used this outside with a plug in lawnmower and it works well with no cut out or overheating.
It looks the part, is easy to see when working around it. It seems very well made and designed.
There’s not much to say about this. It’s a well designed little 10m cable reel, reasonably priced and feels like a good quality item.
I particularly liked the recess in the back for your fingers when winding it back in, a nice touch which shows someone’s thought about the user.
The cable’s bright, so easily seen (and not tripped over) and rewinding feels nice and smooth.

This is a nice long 4 way extension. The yellow colour makes sure that it stands out and is highly visible.
The plastic is not the type that can take many impacts and will crack as it isn’t very flexible, but as long as you don’t drop it you should be fine.
Great extension lead. Four sockets and very easy to wind in. Ten meteres is a generous length and this has ticked all the boxes I required. Great value.
At 10 mtrs, this extension cable is incredibly handy. While feeling a little flimsy in construction, there is no issue in use, and it’s bright yellow cabling makes it easy to see when hung accross the back yard.
4 sockets are handy, but suffer the usual design issue of layout, in that if you use devices that have larger plugs, they will block the opposite socket, reducing the available plugs to 2. However standard plugs fit fine, and if you regularly need to use all 4 plugs then you may need to think of a better solution than an extension roller. The safety cut out is also a good point.
Overall, nothing special, but does everything you need it too.
This is just what I needed for the lawn mower and it worked great. Its very visible being yellow and the 10m cable allos be to mow the whole carden without having to change it to a different plug. The plugs are spaced out enough so you can even use those big ac adaptor plugs if you need to. Winding in the cable was easy – it has an easy wind feature so its smooth and effortless. The thermal vut out is important and a good safety feature especially when using power tools outside on it. There is a safety test switch as well. Comes with 13amp fitted plug and ready to use.
This is a perfectly good 10-metre extension lead with four 13 Amp outlet sockets. It has a total rating of 13 Amps and has a thermal cut-out. The rewinding of the full ten metres can be heavy as the cable binds against the case requiring a partial rewind to complete the exercise.
Overall fair value for money for home use.
Very good extension lead got for when we are away in caravan and when need power out of my garage to cut the lawn. Not to big so doesn’t take up much room to store
Extension cables are something that we forever seem to have a need for, and really useful to keep to hand.
This type (compact reel) is a really good alternative to trailing type, very convenient and easy to keep in a cupboard or drawer without cable to tangle and get caught up with other stuff. Trailing type are fine for say up to 3m, but beyond that are more awkward to store.
This wind-in reel one is 10m, heavy duty, 4 gang (13A), with decent quality (correctly sized) cable, and decent quality plug-top. The extension reel has thermal cut-out protection (with reset button), which is good — and necessary with this type of extension due to heat under load if not fully extended. Ideally, this should always be extended when in use. This isn’t is surge protected, which for this type of extension reel you generally wouldn’t expect it to (as opposed to trailing type which tend to be ‘permanently’ placed / positioned). Surge / Spike protection will protect against spikes and transients that can shorten the life of electronics, which is ideal for PCs as well as general consumer electronics.
Quite likely to be used outside (therefore outside of the equipotential zone), it is ESSENTIAL that the socket outlet connected to is (30mA) RCD protected. This is well-made, using good quality reasonably impact resistant (not brittle) plastics, and reels open and retracted easily.
Oddly, the cable is yellow, and the product description notes as being also ideal for use on construction sites. Er, no.. This is an odd colour choice, since yellow is associated with 110V power. This is of course standard 230V. 110v is used on construction sites, and designed specifically for high workload areas, like large sites. A transformer (typically bright yellow) is used to convert typical ‘domestic household’ 230V power supply to 110V, the reduced voltage cable also being bright yellow, thus easily identifiable. Site used equipment (where single phase) is 110V (eg drills etc) with yellow CEEFORM plugs (which connect to the tf CEEFORM outlet(s)).110V site transformers are centre tapped, which means that the 110V output is actually 2 x 55V. This lower voltage and current is much safer to use, and far less likely to cause serious harm if a wire were cut, stepped on, or otherwise damaged. Whilst not (oddly) a legal requirement, 110V is the accepted standard for construction sites, and will likely be enforced by insurance companies who insure the site, but in all cases it will be a requirement (in the same way PPE is) for working on that site.
Overall, good quality, and well made. As an Electrical Engineer (who has worked on large sites in my earlier Electrician days — before further study / qualifying as an Engineer), the yellow cable makes me a little uneasy. Recommended, just KEEP IT WELL AWAY from construction sites!

I used it today for my car pressure wash and the 10 meter cable was just perfect for the Job. For this job, I wrapped the extension unit in a strong plastic bag for extra safety even though it was a safe distance from water.
I will be using this for my house vacuum cleaner so I can clean everywhere with the extra 10 meter length.
It will be handy in more different situations indoors and to outdoors.
The unit is made from ABS plastics and is strong and durable against impacts. The thick yellow cord is eye catching and handy for when I am using it for my lawnmower.
This is a very good extension cable unit which also has a thermal cutout feature.
Excellent value for money.
This extension lead is quite compact for its length. It’s 10 m long , Perfect for our garden (front and back) when cutting thr grass.
You have to manually pull the cord out and then manually wind it back in. It’s easy since you an have a convenient grip with your fingers at the back.
Yellow colour makes it easy to spot in the garage. The price is reasonable, quality is satisfactory. I can’t really fail it at anything hence 5*.

Needed to reach end of garden, so bought this, having measured the main area 7 metres and thinking 3 extra would be enough to reach plug. However, it’s a bit tight reaching. Assume it has correct length, but haven’t measured it yet. Biggest issue was it wouldn’t unwind. It came with no packaging, and the cable was very badly wound. Took me a good 10 minutes to untangle it and unwind. The unit does come apart making the job harder. Makes me wonder if it was brand new or not as I would expect it to be neatly wound from production. As for performance, it did the job.
This does what it is supposed to do and works well. There are 4 plug sockets and I like that the two sides are pointing towards each other so that they are less likely to interfere with each other so can actually use all 4 sockets at once; plus it has the thermal cut out so you should be safe doing that too. It is easy to pull the cord out and easy to wind it back in again. The bright yellow makes it highly visible, so this isn’t one for use in the home as a permanent thing, unless your room is yellow, of course, but it is good for out and about in the garden or when doing things around the house, you won’t lose where you put it.
This is the kind of item that every home needs at some point and hubby says that you can’t have too many of them.

Otherwise worth getting. I liked the yellow cable – highly visible to reduce tripping hazard.
