With the CableMod Black Vertical Graphics Card Holder consisting of a PCIe riser cable and a special PCI slot bezel, a graphics card can be installed vertically into all standard tower cases. The adapter slot is attached to the slot faceplate of the case and is compatible with all enclosures with an open PCI slot design with at least seven free slots. The graphics card is used by approx. 3.1 cm further into the housing. The riser cable connects the graphics card to the motherboard PCIe slot. Its x16 slot is electrically connected to full 16 data lines and thus provides the full bandwidth for graphics cards. A flexible ribbon cable is used for data transfer. In addition, a strongly angled DisplayPort cable and an HDMI adapter are included. Important note: The total length of the graphics card is increased by 3.1 cm by using the vertical graphics card holder.

I installed this vertical bracket into a Phanteks P600S case, graphics card being a Gigabyte 3080 Ti. Pretty easy job, fits perfectly, keeps temperatures down compared with Phanteks standard vertical mounting solution which pushed the card too close to the glass panel. Needless to say that also looks way better vs horizontal position.
First off, this product is worth the money if you want to vertical mount your GPU. There is one major feature that I feel sets it apart from the competition and makes it worthwhile. That said, it is not without its problems.
First, the good. The product is quite sturdy and stable. There are some reviews calling it flimsy, but they are being unfair. The unassembled pieces do flex and twist, but you cannot evaluate stability on a disassembled product. Once properly assembled, the mount is very sturdy, and exhibits little to no flex or deformability. Next, The mounting position gives the card plenty of room to breath, so the mounting position does not negatively impact thermals. In fact, it improves the GPU core and hotspot temps a few degrees under load in my testing. Finally, the big feature that sets it apart from the competition is the cables. The cables have a flat, 90-degree connector that when combined with the depth, allows the cables to pass through the rear of the case with no modification. I did have to bend the crossbeams of one of the slots out a bit to create some room, but I was able to bend it right back after the connectors went through. And while it’s not specific to this product, the bonus of vertical mounting means making clean, attractive runs with your power cables much easier.
Now to the negatives, which I feel are significant, but not deal-breaking. The first negative that you will quickly notice is that the gap between the back of the case and the back of the mount is not filled or covered. It is just open and is hugely jarring and unattractive. I found that a piece of foam packing material that was inside the package was the perfect width and height to fill the gap perfectly, so I just cut to length and jammed it in. It’s an inelegant solution, but it works. The other big issue is that no matter what I did, I could not get it to sit perfectly straight. The mount tilts slightly outward as you move toward the front of the case. It’s slight, and isn’t obvious unless you are looking for it, but it’s there, and there is no way to get rid of it. The case itself may be a factor, but CableMods should have known different cases would fit slightly differently and provided a method to adjust the angle of the lower mount to compensate. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the cable is PCIe 3.0, so if you have a PCIe 4.0 GPU and motherboard, you will need to go into your UEFI settings and set the PCIe slot to gen 3 or you will get crashes. While it does cause you to lose a very small amount of performance (1-2% in most benchmarks), I’ve found that the improved thermals more than make up for it. You can always replace the riser cable with a 4.0 cable, but I don’t think the extra money is worth it.
So, is this the bracket you should get? If you don’t have crossbars between the slots on your case, you may do well to get a different brand, but this one is just fine, and gets my recommendation as long as you understand the issues and limitation.
Good product if you understand the inherent issues
My case is the NZXT 510. I bought this kit because it mounts my gpu as far back from the glass to give maximum airflow with this case. Bracket quality is thick steel with a flat black powder coat finish. Instructions are online only and pictures are of an older version of the product, but still very easy to follow. There is one hdmi extension with the special angle plugin to the card. The DP cable however is NOT an extension but an actual 8ft cable, the cables are of the best quality as well. Installation is easy just remember to not aggressively bend the supplied riser cable. Once assembled and screwed into place the card is solid and will not move or sag.
—-Things to think about before buying this product —-
Be aware of the install and the type of card you are using. The kit will extend about an inch and a half to the length of the card installed due to the cage that holds the special cables, so check to see how much space you have to make sure it will fit in your case.
This product takes up SEVEN slots in the case, and with my case that is all of my slots! If you have any PCI-e cards ie. sound card, capture card, streaming card, or dual gpu’s this will NOT work.
Overall, expectations all met and shipping was super fast. Pictures attached to show what I am babbling about.

This is my second build using this. Makes it nice to showcase the now most expensive item in the build. Requires moderate PC knowledge to attach correctly.
My GPU looks great thanks to this kit, the online instructions were easy to follow and the included display port cables were a life save because for some reason I thought my pc had an open back! No tilting or leaning of the GPU either, and I have a large Aorus 1080ti!
Ich habe ein lteres Chase wo man nicht viel rumexperimentieren kann aber auf jeden Fall 7 Slots, also sollte auch nichts schief gehen. Der Einbau hat knapp 15 Minuten gedauert inklusive auspacken und ich denke das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen Punkt das Riser Kabel ist auch in Ordnung es lassen sich keine Leistungseinbuen beobachten und auch meine Frontplatte erwrmt sich nicht wirklich in irgendeiner Form . gut ich habe ein etwas lteres System aber wenn man die Abmessungen beachtet dann lsst sich auch eine neue Grafikkarte einbauen . insgesamt trotzdem etwas teuer fr ein bisschen Blech und ein Kabel aber erstens steckt da schon eine Idee dahinter, zweitens gibt’s das halt noch nicht so lang, drittens bei einigen Anbietern komplett ausverkauft und viertens ist mir wirklich einmal lieber unkompliziert auspacken und einbauen von einem Markenhersteller lieber als stundenlang an Chinesen Ware rum zu bastel
I got this to show off my RTX 3080 and it does a great job of it. All white computer with an all white graphics card. The only drawback is the HDMI and display port connections are recessed into the case now and kind of hard to get to. You need a 90 degree connector to make it work for the most part. Other than that it’s great!
Probably the best vertical GPU bracket out there and provides far better cooling position than some of the other vgpu brackets on the market because it’s sits further back in you case and further away from your PC’s glass side panel.
Temps are very good thanks to it’s positioning and I am getting around 72c with my zotac 3090 while gaming.
Cables were a bit fiddly to get in the right position when mounting but with a little patience I got it sorted.
This bracket suited all my needs. Shows off the new fancy 30 series gpu without having to do any cutting or modifications on my tower. Whats not to love and its not even that much more expensive than the other brackets that require you to do some cutting. Granted that brackets are already kinda expensive for what you get but if you are in the market for one already the cablemods bracket is definitely worth your money. Took only 30 minutes to install. Would 100% recommend it.
This product does what it’s supposed to. My graphics card is on the larger end of the spectrum, and this does a great job of supporting it without substantial sag. It keeps my 2.5 slot gpu about 3 inches away from the side panel, so plenty of room for airflow, and I like that it pushes the card closer to the center of the case. Makes the space feel better utilized. If you have a smaller case though, it’s going to seriously limit the size of the gpu you can fit. In my old Corsair 540 case, I could not fit an 11.8 inch card in vertically with this mount and front case fans (no radiator). If you have a tower cooler and a tall GPU, you may have clearance issues with this mount.
Since the kit includes a riser cable and angled display cables, I feel the price is fair. The construction of the mount seems to be fine and doesn’t look janky when looking from the side or back of the case while installed. One think to consider, the ports on your gpu are very inaccessible while mounted this way if the case has expansion slot rails which go in between each slot cover. To avoid having to remove the gpu every time you want to plug in a cable, you might want to consider cutting those rails off. That being said, if you pursue that option, there are cheaper kits on the market which do the same things without pushing the graphics card closer to the front of the case.

Works absolutely perfectly. Really easy to manufacture. Online manual easy to understand. Looks great and also comes with hdmi extender and spare display port cable. Just ensure that you have space as it adds 3.1cm to the cards length.

It’s perfect. It functions, looks, and was designed perfectly. Not only does this allow the GPU to breathe better than traditional vertical mounts, but it also seems to really center the card in the middle of the case.
It’s extremely sturdy (as long as you tighten it down properly), does not sag, and includes everything required to mount your GPU. This was the final touch I needed to finish my system.

Top sache durch das vertikale verbinden ist mein prozessor und meine grafikkarte besser gekhlt was mir 11% mehr leistung im Heaven Engine benchmark gebracht hat hab jetzt 2900punkte stat 2600.

This is a great piece of engineering and I love the quality and design of the bracket. It’s very self-explanatory but I would say to put the cables in before mounting the GPU and if you get clearance issues they route the cables, in my case DP, on the bottom run of the cases rear as you will likely get just enough space to work the card into position.
The only really weird part is that there were not that many screws and I had to use my own (thankfully as a PC builder I have a lot laying around but if you don’t, keep in mind that you may need to order some extras) but aside from that oddity it works flawlessly! The riser cable itself is excellent quality and delivers a fantastic image from my experience so far.
Definitely a must-buy if you want the look but not the price tag a new case with this design included demands. The case I used is a Corsair Graphite 780T and it looks amazing!
This bracket and riser cable combo is a great addition to any case. Be prepared to either modify the back panel of your case if it has crossbars for your PCIe slots or hook the cables to your GPU before installing the bracket to PCIe slots of the case. Only issue I had with the riser cable was a faded screen. This was corrected by going into NVidia control panel and resetting my refresh rate for both monitors and then switching back to 144hz. The bracket does push your GPU back into the case about 2 inches. If you have a long GPU and a compact mid tower case such as the Meshify C, this may not work for you. I run a Zotac 2070 Super Mini with a 360mm AIO no problem though.

It was easy to set up and displays my new GPU Perfectly. The kit comes with every thing you need but a screw driver. It also comes with digital display cables.
Unlike other GPU mounts, with CableMod’s bracket you won’t need to cut into your chassis. I would have had to do that to my Corsair 570x, between the PCI slots with a Phanteks mount (which is a good product in itself). Slots into the chassis securely and holds the GPU well
Took me around 15 minutes to install. Overall pretty easy although bending the PCI-e extender felt ugly – with the card being set further into the case at rear and side, the PCI-e ports are not aligned.
I realise it seems expensive, but you get what you pay for. The materials and finishing are good, you get a PCI extender (generally not cheap) and a custom DP and HDMI cable. I think the price is reasonable.
The major plus for me was the drop in GPU temps. At heavy load it’s come down 10+ degrees, so now I can play games without opening the case side panel! Good times.
Bei der Cablemod Grafikkartenhalterung handelt es sich um ein schnes Gimmick, mit dem man seinen PC optisch aufwerten kann. Dementsprechend muss jeder selbst wissen, ob er/ sie es braucht und dafr Geld ausgeben mchte. Falls ja, halte ich den Preis von 60 angesichts der guten Verarbeitung und Qualitt sowie des Lieferumfangs inkl. HDMI- und DisplayPort-Kabel fr fair und angebracht.
Der Einbau ist etwas tricky, aber ohne allzu groen Zeitaufwand gut machbar. Eine bebilderte Anleitung gibt es auf der Cablemod-Website.
3 Tipps zum Einbau: Als erstes die mitgelieferten 45-Kabel durch die Gehuserckseite nach auen fhren, damit erspart man sich spter die Fummelei. Die Halterung zunchst ohne aufgesteckte Grafikkarte einbauen, dadurch lassen sich die Slots im Gehuse besser “anvisieren” und man muss nicht blind herumstochern. Dann das/ die HDMI-/ DisplayPort-Kabel bereits in die Grafikkarte stecken und diese erst danach auf die GPU-Halterung aufstecken. Auch das erspart unntige Fummelei.
Abschlieend lsst sich sagen, dass der Vorteil dieses Produkts darin liegt, dass die Grafikkarte nicht wie beim vertikalen Gehuseslot (falls vorhanden) direkt an der Glasscheibe klebt, sondern weiter mittig verlagert ist und somit eine bessere Luftzirkulation stattfinden kann. Nach dem Einbau liegt meine GPU-Temperatur im Schnitt nur ca. 2-3C hher als vor dem Einbau. Im Benchmark lsst sich kein relevanter Leistungsunterschied erkennen. Ruckler im Spiel habe ich noch nicht erlebt, falls sich dies ndert, passe ich die Rezension an.
Great piece of kit. Love the look of my graphics card now it is vertically mounted. Give great clearance from case and doesn’t effect performance. Only downside to this product is the access to the ports on your card. You get 2 cables included (right angle adaters) but if you use more than 2 monitors, you can always buy more cables.

Been using this for the past 7 months and hasn’t failed me, there has been no sag whatsoever and makes my pc look that extra bit special. I mounted my Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2070 Super with it and had no problems.
This is hands down the best “universal” vertical bracket I’ve seen. The quality is great. The build is sturdy and even with heavier gpu’s it still supports fine. The only problem I found came with the heftier price point but you get what you pay for.

Rien dire, la carte se trouve 7-8 bon Cm de la porte.
Installation assez simple, juste le branchement du riser un peu compliqu, car il faut tenir le bloc carte + support et brancher le rider en mme temps.
Hatte mir letzte Woche die Cablemod vertikale Graka-Halterung gekauft, leider war bei meinem Paket das Riser-Kabel(von Mainboard-Slot zur Halterung) nicht vorhanden.
Durch kurzen Mail Verkehr mit Caseking wurde mir am Mittwoch ein neues Kabel dazu geschickt und heute ist es angekommen. Sehr guter Support! Gerne wieder!
Trs bon adaptateur PCI-E vertical ! La carte graphique n’est pas colle la vitre ce qui permet d’avoir des tempratures normales comme si elle tait positionne horizontalement.
ATTENTION: avec le branchement de votre cble HDMI/DisplayPort, brancher le cble fournit AVANT le montage et passer le bien l’arrire du botier, moi j’ai fais l’envers et j’avais du mal le brancher aprs.
if you want a mount that is as close to perfect as you can get, get this. this mount supports the heaviest of gpu’s with no GPU sag what so ever (supports my msi 2070 super gaming x perfectly). only downside is if you have fans mounted below your gpu there is a risk that you will need to remove them or at least the fan closest to the back of the case as the mount might not fit. my 011 dynamic case had 3x fans at the bottom but the mount meant i had to remove them. overall a solid support tho

Fr absolut jeden zu empfehlen der was aus seinem PC inneren machen mchte, die Halterung besteht aus 2 Teilen die sich einfach zusammenschrauben lassen und dann schn ins case passt, ohne grossen Aufwand lsst sich die Halterung anbringen und fr so wenig Aufwand ein so schnes Ergebnis zu haben lohnt sich meiner Meinung nach sehr. Qualitativ absolut hochwertig, Empfehlung an jeden der seinen PC verschnern will, die Grafikkarte hngt dabei nicht durch oder sitzt locker. Mein case ist ein nzxt 710i das schon Ausgnge fr eine vertikale gpu hat, diese jedoch so nah an der Scheibe liegen das ich zu hohe Temps bekommen habe, mit der Halterung von cable mod sitzt die graka ca mittig und bekommt schn Luft, hab zur senkrechten graka 2 Grad mehr und das lsst sich absolut verkraften.
Alles im allen macht es was es soll , einbau war einfach Qualitt finde ich auch super (nicht so ein dnnes Blech wie die anderen aber der preis knnte ein bisschen billiger sein . aber wenn man sich umschaut ist der fast noch ok. schneller Versand war auch noch 😉

This is a very good vertical mount for your GPU. My enormous Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080 ti card fits in this bracket. Please make sure you read the description of the item carefully as there are some restrictions. I’ve seen some negative reviews about this mount not fitting their GPU, but in the descriptions it clearly stated that this mount will not fit cards with 3 slot I/O. Other than that the item works as advertised. The included display cables are a plus too!
PSA: If you want to use this in a Lian Li O11DW case, just know that you might not be able to fit 3 fans at the bottom.
In a standard ATX case with 7 PCI slots, this will occupy slightly past the botton slot and block installation of anything past that slot, if space is tight. My example is in the Lian Li PC-O11 where with this installed I could not install fans in the bottom of the case. Didn’t work for me, so I returned it, but may be better in a case with a bottom mount power supply.
Love mine! Previously bought the hdmi version and the riser cable in that was a dud (wasted way too much of my time troubleshooting that). Figured I’d try one more time and ordered this.
Works perfect and fits great in my h500i with rtx 2080 and wraith prism cpu cooler above it! My idle temps are actually lower!!
If you want to show off the underside of the gpu this is a great one! Especially since it offsets the gpu further from the glass window panel, allowing your cars to have proper ventilation.
Only problem is it takes up a LOT of space, you won’t be able to fit other things in the pcie slots. And you also needed 7 free open slots on the back of the PC to mount it. Might not fit bigger 3 fan gpus in smaller cases. So do your due diligence and see if it’ll fit.
The kit is super easy to install and fits in nicely once you remove all the PCI brackets from the back of your case. It positions the card a couple of cm from the brackets and provides an angled DP cable and angled HDMI pass-through so that you don’t have to saw off the bracket rails on the back of your case, keeping everything intact. The PCI raiser cable is sturdy with limited flex but, you will have to bend it to hide it behind the gpu so that everthing looks neat.
The kit does suffer from gpu sag and I think the 2 retention screws CableMod provides to secure the gpu are way to small for the job. Would prefer to use normal thumbscrews as there is a bit of wobble when screwed in.
If you are going to buy this, make sure you have enough length in your VGA power cables because you will have to loop them behind the gpu, again for aesthetic reasons. If they have enough flex, they should tuck nicely behind the gpu so only the connectors are visible.
Also, shout out to Overclockers.co.uk who sold me this kit on Amazon. Delivery date was scheduled between the 7th and 10th of June and the package arrived on the 4th!

j’avais command ce produit chez LDLC mais comme il n’arrivait pas se faire rapprovisionner au bout d’un mois j’ai dcid d’annuler la commande pour le prendre sur amazon qui me l’a livr en deux jours ouvrs. j’ai pris ce produit car ma carte graphique tait trop lourde et la carte lectronique commenait se tordre, le gros point fort de ce produit c’est que l’air n’est plus projet vers le bas ce qui amliore le flux d’air dans le Pc et les matriaux sont fins mais trs largement suffisant pour supporter toutes les cartes graphiques.Le point faible c’est qu’on est oblig de dcouper les petites barres d’origine sur le boitier pour pouvoir connecter les cbles mais a n’est pas un gros problme.je recommande grandement ce produit.

Other then that the only bad thing I don’t like is that you’re not able to install more than one GPU or any PCI-e slots since it takes the whole bottom space. so if you have any other pci-e slots that need to be used, you’re SOL.

Other then that the only bad thing I don't like is that you're not able to install more than one GPU or any PCI-e slots since it takes the whole bottom space. so if you have any other pci-e slots that need to be used, you're SOL.
I would say that this product is the best vertical GPU mount for your PC case. The fit was very nice and the 8 screws or how many there are alleviate the stress of the weight of the GPU so there is no GPU sag.

Bueno, el diseo es lo que ves, realmente lo nico que es realmente es una plataforma metlica y un riser del pci para poder extender el conector al soporte vertical. Aunque es de metal, es maleable, as que te recomiendo que no juegues demasiado con l. Una vez instalado todo bien. Te viene con unos cables de vdeo que son LOS QUE TIENES QUE USAR, s o s, debido a la propia construccin de tu caja de del invento este.
** Instalacin **
La verdad es que es un poco infierno instalarlo. Adems de seguir con cuidado las instrucciones, si eres de los que, como yo, tienes un sistema de cables ya configurado que pasan bajo los muebles con bridas y todo eso, vas a tener que desmontarlo todo para poner los cables que te traen porque son los nicos que se van a adaptar bien. Y, no slo eso.
El cable de vdeo NO puede ser desconectado del ordenador sin desinstalar la grfica del soporte vertical. As que si tienes un sistema de cableado custom (como ya dije antes) y no quieres desmontar la grfica para sacar el cable, te toca deshacer el cableado entero cada vez que quieras mover por el motivo que sea el ordenador de sitio porque slo le vale ese cable, ahora es como si el cable fuera una parte ms de la caja de tu ordenador y la nica solucin que veo es coger una sierra y cargarte las bahas y limarlas luego para poder usar tus propios cables o simplemente para poder desconectarlo con normalidad…
Si ests dispuesto a aceptar esas condiciones y su precio, cumple su funcin perfectamente, que es la de poner la GPU en una muy estable posicin vertical.
Conclusin:
Si no tienes otra manera de poner tu grfica en vertical y quieres hacerlo s o s sin ponerte a moddear tu caja, sta es la opcin, pero a un precio (sobre todo el precio de no poder usar tus cables y perder movilidad, ms que lo que cuesta).

Great product, fit as advertised. It adds a great look to your GPU. I just finished a custom watercooling loop in a mid tower case and the only downside to this is where the bracket mounts to the PCIE slots. It seems awfully big and makes your GPU stick out further than it needs to, taking up more space. Other than that it looks amazing.
First I’d like to address that I am running a ryzen 5 1600x cooled with a Cryorig M9 CPU cooler, with a kit of ddr4 Team T-Force Night Hawk 32gb ram, a MSI GTX 1070ti, a (M-ATX) ASUS B350M-A motherboard, all inside a Corsair Spec 06 case. This product worked perfectly fine except for that fact that it came into contact with my Cryorig M9 cpu cooler (specifically the heatsteak touching the gpu). I can only blame myself for the incorrect measurements I did and for also buying the big and bulky MSI series of GTX cards. This product would’ve worked fine if I hadn’t messed up but my main gripe with the product is how my gpu (MSI GTX 1070ti) seemed to slouch a bit to the right. I wasn’t sure if it was because of my MSI GTX being too bulky but then when I decided to instead put my Zotac GTX 1060 in it, it also slouched to the right a bit. Not sure if I got a defective mount since other reviewers of this product seem to have theirs more straighten out. Either way I wouldn’t remove a star for it. Overall this is probably the best solution for getting a vertical gpu mount without having to mod your case. ALSO A BIG SUGGESTION FOR MSI GTX CARD USERS if your planning on or currently using any MSI GTX cards with this vertical mount just go with AIO or Water Cooling for your cpu to avoid the “cpu cooler heatsink touching gpu” problem altogether. Anything smaller than a MSI GTX cards should be perfectly fine with this vertical gpu mount and Cryorig M9 combo. Cheers to all those who got it to work!
A very well made and designed bracket with solid robust no expense spared feel. Just be aware if you are using a HDMI to DVI connector then it will not pass through the spaces in the back of your case. I didn’t want alter the case in any way so changed this for a lead set up instead, and opted out of the DVI option on the graphics card.

La verdad vale la pena comprarlo y no maltratar el case. Queda bien para un h700i y una tarjeta rtx aorus 2080. Como la tarjeta es pesada aun se recomienda utilizar el soporte.

Recently I’ve built in the legendary case labs SMA8-a, and needed to fill in some of the space.
The cable mods vertical GPU mount worked perfectly for me, very high build quality and easy to put together. Even the packaging shows you that they really understand enthusiasts.

-Das Riser Kabel scheint recht gut zu sein. Habe an sich noch keine Erfahrungen mit Riser kabeln machen knnen. Aber alleine vom Gefhl her gibt es dadurch keine Performance Einbuen.
-Einziges Manko ist, dass die Grafikkarte nun alle pcie und mini pcie Anschlsse verdeckt. Aber damit muss man rechnen, wenn man seine GPU um 90 Grad gedreht in seinen PC einbau

While this product does an amazing job of converting your case into one that can mount a gpu vertically it does have a few small issues. It doesn’t come with instructions in the box, instead coming with a link to go to for instructions which isn’t the worst, but it was annoying trying to put it together while my phone screen kept turning off between each step.
The second issue I noticed was the inability to plug HDMI/DP cables in once your GPU is in place. While I understand the need to buy their own version of the cable/small cable extension (that come in the box by the way) it is very annoying that when I get my second HDMI cable extender I will need to dismount the hole product in order to plug it in. With just a little more clearance the plug could be pushed through the PCI-e slot in the back and the cable/extender plugged in without dismounting the whole thing.
Those things being said, this product is still a wonderful and virtually painless way to vertically mount gpus (or any PCI-e card I guess) without needing to modify your case/void your warranty.
This bracket is great.. it allows me to vert mount my zotac 1080 ti without the fans being up against the case. I also didn’t have to modify my case in any way. Just assemble the bracket, plug the gpu in and mount it. The only downside is it’ll take up all pci express slots, but sacrifices must be made.

I have an Asus Strix 1080Ti GPU. Not only is it really nice looking in a vertical position, but it is also a big boye GPU. The case I have, the Corsair 500D, has a built-in vertical mounting option, and just deep enough that the large heatsink still fits inside the case. However, the case puts the fans too close to the door, which has to be left “open” (the case door swings open). So I decided to try this option out, knowing I wouldn’t have to gut the backside of the GPU mounts. For this purpose the CableMod VPB works great. It is easy to install, and puts your GPU in an optimal spot so that it has room to breathe, right behind your case’s front fans, where GPUs typically would be.
The caveat, is that the DisplayPort cables (ver. 1.2) included are not the right spec to support high refresh rates at 1440p and above. I feel this is a bit of an oversight, since a lot of users who have to move their GPUs further back (when most case’ built-in verticle mounts are too close to the main case wall) will have thicker heatsinks on their GPUs. So, I ended up still having to cut to of the PCIE slot bars out of the back of my case. I’m not that concerned about that aspect of the vertical bracket, as this one offers great support and positioning of the GPU. Plus it was just the two bits, which easy “work-harden” off with a pair of pliers. Two-three years after RGB took over gaming components, why case manufacturers have not yet made this aspect of cases modular is beyond me. Luckily custom PC makers like CableMod have an eye for these things.

Hab die Grafikkartenhalterung im Define R6 verbaut. Da die originale vertikale Halterung zu nah an der Scheibe sitzt. Super stabil, Top verarbeitet, Top verpackt alles in allem eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
Man muss drauf achten das man spter auch Platz hat zur aussenwand mit der graka vom Gehuse. Ich habe 8 cm somit bekommt die mehr als genug Luft und sieht einfach Hammer aus
I installed this vertical bracket into a Phanteks P600S case, graphics card being a Gigabyte 3080 Ti. Pretty easy job, fits perfectly, keeps temperatures down compared with Phanteks standard vertical mounting solution which pushed the card too close to the glass panel. Needless to say that also looks way better vs horizontal position.
First, the good. The product is quite sturdy and stable. There are some reviews calling it flimsy, but they are being unfair. The unassembled pieces do flex and twist, but you cannot evaluate stability on a disassembled product. Once properly assembled, the mount is very sturdy, and exhibits little to no flex or deformability. Next, The mounting position gives the card plenty of room to breath, so the mounting position does not negatively impact thermals. In fact, it improves the GPU core and hotspot temps a few degrees under load in my testing. Finally, the big feature that sets it apart from the competition is the cables. The cables have a flat, 90-degree connector that when combined with the depth, allows the cables to pass through the rear of the case with no modification. I did have to bend the crossbeams of one of the slots out a bit to create some room, but I was able to bend it right back after the connectors went through. And while it’s not specific to this product, the bonus of vertical mounting means making clean, attractive runs with your power cables much easier.
Now to the negatives, which I feel are significant, but not deal-breaking. The first negative that you will quickly notice is that the gap between the back of the case and the back of the mount is not filled or covered. It is just open and is hugely jarring and unattractive. I found that a piece of foam packing material that was inside the package was the perfect width and height to fill the gap perfectly, so I just cut to length and jammed it in. It’s an inelegant solution, but it works. The other big issue is that no matter what I did, I could not get it to sit perfectly straight. The mount tilts slightly outward as you move toward the front of the case. It’s slight, and isn’t obvious unless you are looking for it, but it’s there, and there is no way to get rid of it. The case itself may be a factor, but CableMods should have known different cases would fit slightly differently and provided a method to adjust the angle of the lower mount to compensate. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the cable is PCIe 3.0, so if you have a PCIe 4.0 GPU and motherboard, you will need to go into your UEFI settings and set the PCIe slot to gen 3 or you will get crashes. While it does cause you to lose a very small amount of performance (1-2% in most benchmarks), I’ve found that the improved thermals more than make up for it. You can always replace the riser cable with a 4.0 cable, but I don’t think the extra money is worth it.
So, is this the bracket you should get? If you don’t have crossbars between the slots on your case, you may do well to get a different brand, but this one is just fine, and gets my recommendation as long as you understand the issues and limitation.
Easy install and great product. Much much better than most built in vertical mounts as it’s not pushing your car right against the glass.
My case is the NZXT 510. I bought this kit because it mounts my gpu as far back from the glass to give maximum airflow with this case. Bracket quality is thick steel with a flat black powder coat finish. Instructions are online only and pictures are of an older version of the product, but still very easy to follow. There is one hdmi extension with the special angle plugin to the card. The DP cable however is NOT an extension but an actual 8ft cable, the cables are of the best quality as well. Installation is easy just remember to not aggressively bend the supplied riser cable. Once assembled and screwed into place the card is solid and will not move or sag.
—-Things to think about before buying this product —-
Be aware of the install and the type of card you are using. The kit will extend about an inch and a half to the length of the card installed due to the cage that holds the special cables, so check to see how much space you have to make sure it will fit in your case.
This product takes up SEVEN slots in the case, and with my case that is all of my slots! If you have any PCI-e cards ie. sound card, capture card, streaming card, or dual gpu’s this will NOT work.
Overall, expectations all met and shipping was super fast. Pictures attached to show what I am babbling about.
This is my second build using this. Makes it nice to showcase the now most expensive item in the build. Requires moderate PC knowledge to attach correctly.
My GPU looks great thanks to this kit, the online instructions were easy to follow and the included display port cables were a life save because for some reason I thought my pc had an open back! No tilting or leaning of the GPU either, and I have a large Aorus 1080ti!

Ich habe ein lteres Chase wo man nicht viel rumexperimentieren kann aber auf jeden Fall 7 Slots, also sollte auch nichts schief gehen. Der Einbau hat knapp 15 Minuten gedauert inklusive auspacken und ich denke das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen Punkt das Riser Kabel ist auch in Ordnung es lassen sich keine Leistungseinbuen beobachten und auch meine Frontplatte erwrmt sich nicht wirklich in irgendeiner Form . gut ich habe ein etwas lteres System aber wenn man die Abmessungen beachtet dann lsst sich auch eine neue Grafikkarte einbauen . insgesamt trotzdem etwas teuer fr ein bisschen Blech und ein Kabel aber erstens steckt da schon eine Idee dahinter, zweitens gibt’s das halt noch nicht so lang, drittens bei einigen Anbietern komplett ausverkauft und viertens ist mir wirklich einmal lieber unkompliziert auspacken und einbauen von einem Markenhersteller lieber als stundenlang an Chinesen Ware rum zu bastel

I got this to show off my RTX 3080 and it does a great job of it. All white computer with an all white graphics card. The only drawback is the HDMI and display port connections are recessed into the case now and kind of hard to get to. You need a 90 degree connector to make it work for the most part. Other than that it’s great!
Probably the best vertical GPU bracket out there and provides far better cooling position than some of the other vgpu brackets on the market because it’s sits further back in you case and further away from your PC’s glass side panel.
Temps are very good thanks to it’s positioning and I am getting around 72c with my zotac 3090 while gaming.
Cables were a bit fiddly to get in the right position when mounting but with a little patience I got it sorted.

This bracket suited all my needs. Shows off the new fancy 30 series gpu without having to do any cutting or modifications on my tower. Whats not to love and its not even that much more expensive than the other brackets that require you to do some cutting. Granted that brackets are already kinda expensive for what you get but if you are in the market for one already the cablemods bracket is definitely worth your money. Took only 30 minutes to install. Would 100% recommend it.
This product does what it’s supposed to. My graphics card is on the larger end of the spectrum, and this does a great job of supporting it without substantial sag. It keeps my 2.5 slot gpu about 3 inches away from the side panel, so plenty of room for airflow, and I like that it pushes the card closer to the center of the case. Makes the space feel better utilized. If you have a smaller case though, it’s going to seriously limit the size of the gpu you can fit. In my old Corsair 540 case, I could not fit an 11.8 inch card in vertically with this mount and front case fans (no radiator). If you have a tower cooler and a tall GPU, you may have clearance issues with this mount.
Since the kit includes a riser cable and angled display cables, I feel the price is fair. The construction of the mount seems to be fine and doesn’t look janky when looking from the side or back of the case while installed. One think to consider, the ports on your gpu are very inaccessible while mounted this way if the case has expansion slot rails which go in between each slot cover. To avoid having to remove the gpu every time you want to plug in a cable, you might want to consider cutting those rails off. That being said, if you pursue that option, there are cheaper kits on the market which do the same things without pushing the graphics card closer to the front of the case.
at first I was hesitant to buy this product due to the thermals that it do to my gaming rig.but i was totally wrong the dimension is tailor made to my case. the performace doesnt change and the thermals as well. I love the vertical view of my gpu.it’s worth the $65.

Works absolutely perfectly. Really easy to manufacture. Online manual easy to understand. Looks great and also comes with hdmi extender and spare display port cable. Just ensure that you have space as it adds 3.1cm to the cards length.
Riser cable will not work with my RTX 3090 (will not boot). And because I needed to modify the mount for my case, I cannot return it.
I have fitted a RTX 3070 to mine and is running about 10 degrees cooler than than utubers tests.
Solid bit of kit , imbroves the air flow in my case aswell, struggle a bit with inserting the Display port cables at the end but toatlly worth it!
This product assembles easily and supports a two-slot card without any sagging. I’d recommend this bracket even if your case has a vertical mounting option and you are air cooling since it positions the card well away from the side panel. My card actually runs a few degrees cooler in this position.
It’s perfect. It functions, looks, and was designed perfectly. Not only does this allow the GPU to breathe better than traditional vertical mounts, but it also seems to really center the card in the middle of the case.
It’s extremely sturdy (as long as you tighten it down properly), does not sag, and includes everything required to mount your GPU. This was the final touch I needed to finish my system.

The headline says it all. It looks good good after being installed, but it sure is a hassle to install it. If your not comfortable messing around in your computer and maybe giving it a few jerks, then it might be better just to stay away.

This is a great piece of engineering and I love the quality and design of the bracket. It’s very self-explanatory but I would say to put the cables in before mounting the GPU and if you get clearance issues they route the cables, in my case DP, on the bottom run of the cases rear as you will likely get just enough space to work the card into position.
The only really weird part is that there were not that many screws and I had to use my own (thankfully as a PC builder I have a lot laying around but if you don’t, keep in mind that you may need to order some extras) but aside from that oddity it works flawlessly! The riser cable itself is excellent quality and delivers a fantastic image from my experience so far.
Definitely a must-buy if you want the look but not the price tag a new case with this design included demands. The case I used is a Corsair Graphite 780T and it looks amazing!

It was easy to set up and displays my new GPU Perfectly. The kit comes with every thing you need but a screw driver. It also comes with digital display cables.
Unlike other GPU mounts, with CableMod’s bracket you won’t need to cut into your chassis. I would have had to do that to my Corsair 570x, between the PCI slots with a Phanteks mount (which is a good product in itself). Slots into the chassis securely and holds the GPU well
Took me around 15 minutes to install. Overall pretty easy although bending the PCI-e extender felt ugly – with the card being set further into the case at rear and side, the PCI-e ports are not aligned.
I realise it seems expensive, but you get what you pay for. The materials and finishing are good, you get a PCI extender (generally not cheap) and a custom DP and HDMI cable. I think the price is reasonable.
The major plus for me was the drop in GPU temps. At heavy load it’s come down 10+ degrees, so now I can play games without opening the case side panel! Good times.
Bei der Cablemod Grafikkartenhalterung handelt es sich um ein schnes Gimmick, mit dem man seinen PC optisch aufwerten kann. Dementsprechend muss jeder selbst wissen, ob er/ sie es braucht und dafr Geld ausgeben mchte. Falls ja, halte ich den Preis von 60 angesichts der guten Verarbeitung und Qualitt sowie des Lieferumfangs inkl. HDMI- und DisplayPort-Kabel fr fair und angebracht.
Der Einbau ist etwas tricky, aber ohne allzu groen Zeitaufwand gut machbar. Eine bebilderte Anleitung gibt es auf der Cablemod-Website.
3 Tipps zum Einbau: Als erstes die mitgelieferten 45-Kabel durch die Gehuserckseite nach auen fhren, damit erspart man sich spter die Fummelei. Die Halterung zunchst ohne aufgesteckte Grafikkarte einbauen, dadurch lassen sich die Slots im Gehuse besser “anvisieren” und man muss nicht blind herumstochern. Dann das/ die HDMI-/ DisplayPort-Kabel bereits in die Grafikkarte stecken und diese erst danach auf die GPU-Halterung aufstecken. Auch das erspart unntige Fummelei.
Abschlieend lsst sich sagen, dass der Vorteil dieses Produkts darin liegt, dass die Grafikkarte nicht wie beim vertikalen Gehuseslot (falls vorhanden) direkt an der Glasscheibe klebt, sondern weiter mittig verlagert ist und somit eine bessere Luftzirkulation stattfinden kann. Nach dem Einbau liegt meine GPU-Temperatur im Schnitt nur ca. 2-3C hher als vor dem Einbau. Im Benchmark lsst sich kein relevanter Leistungsunterschied erkennen. Ruckler im Spiel habe ich noch nicht erlebt, falls sich dies ndert, passe ich die Rezension an.
Great piece of kit. Love the look of my graphics card now it is vertically mounted. Give great clearance from case and doesn’t effect performance. Only downside to this product is the access to the ports on your card. You get 2 cables included (right angle adaters) but if you use more than 2 monitors, you can always buy more cables.

Been using this for the past 7 months and hasn’t failed me, there has been no sag whatsoever and makes my pc look that extra bit special. I mounted my Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2070 Super with it and had no problems.
This is hands down the best “universal” vertical bracket I’ve seen. The quality is great. The build is sturdy and even with heavier gpu’s it still supports fine. The only problem I found came with the heftier price point but you get what you pay for.

Rien dire, la carte se trouve 7-8 bon Cm de la porte.
Installation assez simple, juste le branchement du riser un peu compliqu, car il faut tenir le bloc carte + support et brancher le rider en mme temps.

Hatte mir letzte Woche die Cablemod vertikale Graka-Halterung gekauft, leider war bei meinem Paket das Riser-Kabel(von Mainboard-Slot zur Halterung) nicht vorhanden.
Durch kurzen Mail Verkehr mit Caseking wurde mir am Mittwoch ein neues Kabel dazu geschickt und heute ist es angekommen. Sehr guter Support! Gerne wieder!

if you want a mount that is as close to perfect as you can get, get this. this mount supports the heaviest of gpu’s with no GPU sag what so ever (supports my msi 2070 super gaming x perfectly). only downside is if you have fans mounted below your gpu there is a risk that you will need to remove them or at least the fan closest to the back of the case as the mount might not fit. my 011 dynamic case had 3x fans at the bottom but the mount meant i had to remove them. overall a solid support tho

wrden vom hohen preis abschrecken denke ich aber ich habe mir sagen lassen das hochwertige pciexpress verlngerungskabel gerne und gut alleine schon so viel kosten wenn man ein gutes will somit wrde ich schtzen das die halterung so ca bei 20 liegt und die beiliegenden kabel pcie,hdmi und dp kabel verlngerungen die von sehr hohe qualitt meiner meinung nach sind bei 40 ist etwas fummelig und auch das die anschle nach innen wandern wa zunchst etwas abenteuerlich aber funktioniert einwandfrei und sieht auch noch gut aus top

Fr absolut jeden zu empfehlen der was aus seinem PC inneren machen mchte, die Halterung besteht aus 2 Teilen die sich einfach zusammenschrauben lassen und dann schn ins case passt, ohne grossen Aufwand lsst sich die Halterung anbringen und fr so wenig Aufwand ein so schnes Ergebnis zu haben lohnt sich meiner Meinung nach sehr. Qualitativ absolut hochwertig, Empfehlung an jeden der seinen PC verschnern will, die Grafikkarte hngt dabei nicht durch oder sitzt locker. Mein case ist ein nzxt 710i das schon Ausgnge fr eine vertikale gpu hat, diese jedoch so nah an der Scheibe liegen das ich zu hohe Temps bekommen habe, mit der Halterung von cable mod sitzt die graka ca mittig und bekommt schn Luft, hab zur senkrechten graka 2 Grad mehr und das lsst sich absolut verkraften.

This is one great mod for people that want to show their GPU’s inside the case. This product comes with everything you need to mount your GPU vertically plus they make 90 degree cables. CableMod has thought of everything for you so all you have to do is assemble the mount, secure the riser and mount the GPU. I’m very happy with this product.
Really sturdy and completely case mod free. Has everything you need inside the box. While it’s a bit pricey it’s literally everything you will need in 1 place.

This is a very good vertical mount for your GPU. My enormous Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080 ti card fits in this bracket. Please make sure you read the description of the item carefully as there are some restrictions. I’ve seen some negative reviews about this mount not fitting their GPU, but in the descriptions it clearly stated that this mount will not fit cards with 3 slot I/O. Other than that the item works as advertised. The included display cables are a plus too!
PSA: If you want to use this in a Lian Li O11DW case, just know that you might not be able to fit 3 fans at the bottom.

Excellent product, works in the rosewill thor V2 and now i don’t have to worry about GPU Sagging.
In a standard ATX case with 7 PCI slots, this will occupy slightly past the botton slot and block installation of anything past that slot, if space is tight. My example is in the Lian Li PC-O11 where with this installed I could not install fans in the bottom of the case. Didn’t work for me, so I returned it, but may be better in a case with a bottom mount power supply.

Love mine! Previously bought the hdmi version and the riser cable in that was a dud (wasted way too much of my time troubleshooting that). Figured I’d try one more time and ordered this.
Works perfect and fits great in my h500i with rtx 2080 and wraith prism cpu cooler above it! My idle temps are actually lower!!
If you want to show off the underside of the gpu this is a great one! Especially since it offsets the gpu further from the glass window panel, allowing your cars to have proper ventilation.
Only problem is it takes up a LOT of space, you won’t be able to fit other things in the pcie slots. And you also needed 7 free open slots on the back of the PC to mount it. Might not fit bigger 3 fan gpus in smaller cases. So do your due diligence and see if it’ll fit.

No issues, materials are high quality and installation was relatively easy.
Only issue was there was no physical instructions, just a link on paper to their digital instructions.
The product is nice, but the screws it come with could be of nicer quality. If not properly secured, your gpu will not stay sturdy on this mount.
The kit is super easy to install and fits in nicely once you remove all the PCI brackets from the back of your case. It positions the card a couple of cm from the brackets and provides an angled DP cable and angled HDMI pass-through so that you don’t have to saw off the bracket rails on the back of your case, keeping everything intact. The PCI raiser cable is sturdy with limited flex but, you will have to bend it to hide it behind the gpu so that everthing looks neat.
The kit does suffer from gpu sag and I think the 2 retention screws CableMod provides to secure the gpu are way to small for the job. Would prefer to use normal thumbscrews as there is a bit of wobble when screwed in.
If you are going to buy this, make sure you have enough length in your VGA power cables because you will have to loop them behind the gpu, again for aesthetic reasons. If they have enough flex, they should tuck nicely behind the gpu so only the connectors are visible.
Also, shout out to Overclockers.co.uk who sold me this kit on Amazon. Delivery date was scheduled between the 7th and 10th of June and the package arrived on the 4th!
I loved how it showcased my GPU and it was very sturdy. I had to spray paint it red to match my case theme. Overall a great product to have to show off your graphics card.
CableMod’s Vertical PCI-E Bracket is great to make your PC look nice. It was an easy install, no modding to your case required unlike some other vertical GPU mounts. Just make sure that you have 7 free PCI-E slots and enough room for your GPU to fit, it does extend out your GPU by about 1.2 inches. I was able to squeeze my Gigabyte RTX 2070 Windforce and it was strong enough to hold it. There was a concern about temperatures with the vertical mount but I noticed my temperatures have dropped by 3C now my temperatures are at about 65C. The PCI-E riser cable is quite stiff, it was kinda hard to manage it. My only complaint is I wish they added a plate behind the GPU for more rigidity, besides that the vertical mount is really well made.
Love it, doesn’t drop any of my frames and temps are just great as well after running 4 hours of heavy gaming and rendering. Other then that the only bad thing I don’t like is that you’re not able to install more than one GPU or any PCI-e slots since it takes the whole bottom space. so if you have any other pci-e slots that need to be used, you’re SOL.
Kann nur empfehlen. brigens man muss nicht die Metalle schneiden damit man die DP anschlieen. Man kann auch ohne machen. Hat bei mir gut geklappt

I would say that this product is the best vertical GPU mount for your PC case. The fit was very nice and the 8 screws or how many there are alleviate the stress of the weight of the GPU so there is no GPU sag.

Bueno, el diseo es lo que ves, realmente lo nico que es realmente es una plataforma metlica y un riser del pci para poder extender el conector al soporte vertical. Aunque es de metal, es maleable, as que te recomiendo que no juegues demasiado con l. Una vez instalado todo bien. Te viene con unos cables de vdeo que son LOS QUE TIENES QUE USAR, s o s, debido a la propia construccin de tu caja de del invento este.
** Instalacin **
La verdad es que es un poco infierno instalarlo. Adems de seguir con cuidado las instrucciones, si eres de los que, como yo, tienes un sistema de cables ya configurado que pasan bajo los muebles con bridas y todo eso, vas a tener que desmontarlo todo para poner los cables que te traen porque son los nicos que se van a adaptar bien. Y, no slo eso.
El cable de vdeo NO puede ser desconectado del ordenador sin desinstalar la grfica del soporte vertical. As que si tienes un sistema de cableado custom (como ya dije antes) y no quieres desmontar la grfica para sacar el cable, te toca deshacer el cableado entero cada vez que quieras mover por el motivo que sea el ordenador de sitio porque slo le vale ese cable, ahora es como si el cable fuera una parte ms de la caja de tu ordenador y la nica solucin que veo es coger una sierra y cargarte las bahas y limarlas luego para poder usar tus propios cables o simplemente para poder desconectarlo con normalidad…
Si ests dispuesto a aceptar esas condiciones y su precio, cumple su funcin perfectamente, que es la de poner la GPU en una muy estable posicin vertical.
Conclusin:
Si no tienes otra manera de poner tu grfica en vertical y quieres hacerlo s o s sin ponerte a moddear tu caja, sta es la opcin, pero a un precio (sobre todo el precio de no poder usar tus cables y perder movilidad, ms que lo que cuesta).
Great product, fit as advertised. It adds a great look to your GPU. I just finished a custom watercooling loop in a mid tower case and the only downside to this is where the bracket mounts to the PCIE slots. It seems awfully big and makes your GPU stick out further than it needs to, taking up more space. Other than that it looks amazing.
First I’d like to address that I am running a ryzen 5 1600x cooled with a Cryorig M9 CPU cooler, with a kit of ddr4 Team T-Force Night Hawk 32gb ram, a MSI GTX 1070ti, a (M-ATX) ASUS B350M-A motherboard, all inside a Corsair Spec 06 case. This product worked perfectly fine except for that fact that it came into contact with my Cryorig M9 cpu cooler (specifically the heatsteak touching the gpu). I can only blame myself for the incorrect measurements I did and for also buying the big and bulky MSI series of GTX cards. This product would’ve worked fine if I hadn’t messed up but my main gripe with the product is how my gpu (MSI GTX 1070ti) seemed to slouch a bit to the right. I wasn’t sure if it was because of my MSI GTX being too bulky but then when I decided to instead put my Zotac GTX 1060 in it, it also slouched to the right a bit. Not sure if I got a defective mount since other reviewers of this product seem to have theirs more straighten out. Either way I wouldn’t remove a star for it. Overall this is probably the best solution for getting a vertical gpu mount without having to mod your case. ALSO A BIG SUGGESTION FOR MSI GTX CARD USERS if your planning on or currently using any MSI GTX cards with this vertical mount just go with AIO or Water Cooling for your cpu to avoid the “cpu cooler heatsink touching gpu” problem altogether. Anything smaller than a MSI GTX cards should be perfectly fine with this vertical gpu mount and Cryorig M9 combo. Cheers to all those who got it to work!
I am using the bracket for my 590 and it was working like a champ to hold up this monster of a card. Installation was easy, but make sure your GPU cooler will have the clearance space to actually use this product. For those worried about thermals, this kit sits no where near my glass panel. Matter of fact this product pushes the card further away from the panel for my NZXT H700 case. Make sure you case has 7 slots for installation or it wont be compatible. A major plus is that other third party vertical gpu brackets you may have to cut or remove some of back part of the case where the GPU goes, not with product. Strictly plug and play.
Mount allows you to keep fans away from side panels. Looks great and no need to modify your case with this mount. Little more expensive but worth it.
Quality at its finest. No problem installing to my system. If you are having a problem of the product, i suggest to contact the seller first before leaving a negative feedback because they have an awesome customer service.

Vertical mounting of your graphics card has been very popular lately, especially with something like an EK water block to showcase your hardware.
Recently I’ve built in the legendary case labs SMA8-a, and needed to fill in some of the space.
The cable mods vertical GPU mount worked perfectly for me, very high build quality and easy to put together. Even the packaging shows you that they really understand enthusiasts.

-Das Riser Kabel scheint recht gut zu sein. Habe an sich noch keine Erfahrungen mit Riser kabeln machen knnen. Aber alleine vom Gefhl her gibt es dadurch keine Performance Einbuen.
-Einziges Manko ist, dass die Grafikkarte nun alle pcie und mini pcie Anschlsse verdeckt. Aber damit muss man rechnen, wenn man seine GPU um 90 Grad gedreht in seinen PC einbau
The mount is very sturdy and comes with 2, 90 degree cables. The riser cable is a quality cable (but its not shielded). I lost no performance using this riser cable and the 90 degree cables actually are helpful so consider using them. My card actually runs cooler now and i no longer have GPU sag like before. I highly recommend this mount to anyone looking to vertically mount their card!
While this product does an amazing job of converting your case into one that can mount a gpu vertically it does have a few small issues. It doesn’t come with instructions in the box, instead coming with a link to go to for instructions which isn’t the worst, but it was annoying trying to put it together while my phone screen kept turning off between each step.
The second issue I noticed was the inability to plug HDMI/DP cables in once your GPU is in place. While I understand the need to buy their own version of the cable/small cable extension (that come in the box by the way) it is very annoying that when I get my second HDMI cable extender I will need to dismount the hole product in order to plug it in. With just a little more clearance the plug could be pushed through the PCI-e slot in the back and the cable/extender plugged in without dismounting the whole thing.
Those things being said, this product is still a wonderful and virtually painless way to vertically mount gpus (or any PCI-e card I guess) without needing to modify your case/void your warranty.
The caveat, is that the DisplayPort cables (ver. 1.2) included are not the right spec to support high refresh rates at 1440p and above. I feel this is a bit of an oversight, since a lot of users who have to move their GPUs further back (when most case’ built-in verticle mounts are too close to the main case wall) will have thicker heatsinks on their GPUs. So, I ended up still having to cut to of the PCIE slot bars out of the back of my case. I’m not that concerned about that aspect of the vertical bracket, as this one offers great support and positioning of the GPU. Plus it was just the two bits, which easy “work-harden” off with a pair of pliers. Two-three years after RGB took over gaming components, why case manufacturers have not yet made this aspect of cases modular is beyond me. Luckily custom PC makers like CableMod have an eye for these things.
Aufbau ist selbsterklrend es liegt aber ein Zettel dabei wo man die Installation beschriebt. Ist ein super aufwertung des PC da sieht man jetzt schn die Grafikkarte. halt Bomben fest. PC Gehuse muss mindesten 7 freie Slots haben zum befestigen.
Hab die Grafikkartenhalterung im Define R6 verbaut. Da die originale vertikale Halterung zu nah an der Scheibe sitzt. Super stabil, Top verarbeitet, Top verpackt alles in allem eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
