I was debating between this and a Secret Labs chair for a while. Ultimately decided on this with its mesh seat, which I thought would help my coccyx pain – sitting on normal chairs for about an hour means I need to get up otherwise things hurt!
I received the chair in a rather large box. After lugging it to the attic, assembly wasn’t too bad if a little clunky on my own. The chair provides excellent lumbar support and my tailbone pain has been severely reduced. I can probably do about 3 hours sat down before needing to stand, and even then then the pain isn’t as bad as it used to be. A great result!
Now for the negative(s) – the arm rests:
-leaning back on the chair with a gamepad in hand I noticed there was a lack of elbow support. There is a large gap between the arms and the back of the chair resulting in minimal support depending on where you usually rest your arms
-the rests only move up/down. It’s a shame they’re not 4D like the competition has
-although they’re soft to touch, they could be softer/padded a little
=the right arm rest seems to unscrew itself every couple of months. Possibly as a result of me using the mouse but still… wish the screw would stay in!
Overall it’s still a great purchase and one I definitely recommend
Received this in April 2021 and assembly was easy and initially no issues. Used occasionally and not often. Creaking noises developed after 6 months but couldn’t understand where. Further examination reveals a metal fracture in the base of seat. Very disappointed considering price and longevity of it’s performance.

The chair was exactly what I was looking for, however, a fault developed with the chassis. I contacted the supplier and a replacement was sent, pretty much by return. A great product backed up by even better customer support.

I bought this for my daughter who is slim and 5 foot nine starting a new job working from home. She finds it most comfortable and has sat for seven hours tapping away doing design work. No back problems finds it very supportive and couldn’t recommend it enough. She was worried as she is quite tall but actually for her leg length and her little bum it fits her well!

I got this chair to revamp my WFH setup. The chair arrived pretty quickly thanks to Amazon Prime.
It was easy to build and came with full step-by-step instructions with all the tools needed.
Once built the chair it easy to adjust to get a really comfortable ergonmic seating position. The chair goes up and as most chairs do and goes a little higher than most of the previous chairs I owned.
I initially had concerns with mesh being where I sat, however after a week of sitting on it for nearly 7 hours a day, I can say it’s as comfortable as a cushion chair and haven’t seen any signs of not springing back to normal.
The arms rest are adjustable which help with sitting at a keyboard all day.
I great purchase and would recommend this chair for anyone looking for a new chair.
I use this chair in my home office and spend about eight hours a day in it. It is easy to adjust and comfortable and breathable. The one thing I would improve is the lumber support needs to go higher to hit the right place in my back when sitting fully upright.
chair is pretty comfortable, arrived very fast but when I open the package I noticed that both of the armrest are for Left arm. I had contacted with the customer service and they sent me right armrest immediately. very helpful customer service.
Not going to write war and peace about this. It’s a spinny office chair type thing that does what a spinny office chair type thing should do and it does it well. Comfortable, sturdy and spinny. Buy one.
Very comfortable chair. I’m 6ft4 and adjusted right it definitely helps my back pain. Easy to assemble following guide but I’d recommend putting it together with someone else as a bit difficult to hold bits together and screw by yourself.
A great gamers chair for my gamer fan child who loved it and fixed it all themsleves too. The cushion is nice and padded and the back rest is comfy too.
While this chair certainly looks the part and seems very well made I just cannot seem to get comfy in it for a couple of reasons. One the headrest while sitting normally cannot be positioned in any useful way and two the lumbar support does not seem to adjust enough. That being said laying back in this chair is very comfy and the mesh system really does help when sitting for hours not to overheat.
You’ll need a good 45 minutes to fully assemble the chair.
Also might help to have some tools standing by.
A dog lying in the instructions may hampt you further.
But in the end you get a very sturdy comfortable, oh so comfortable chair, that helps you work better without any back strain.
The arms are at the perfect height for pc work.

The chair arrived in a strong and well made box, and each individual part was well packaged. I live on the first floor, and the box was heavy, so I would recommend two people to carry it if going upstairs. The chair itself was easy to put together and all the screws fitted securely. The whole chair is very comfortable. The seat cushion, back and head rest are supportive, and the lumbar support is great for those who, like me, suffer from lower back pain. There are lots of different ergonomic office chairs on the market, and it took me hours of research before finally deciding on this one. I am very pleased with this chair and can highly recommend it.

Ich selbst bin 2 Meter hoch, aber die Gasfeder ist fast ganz eingefahren und die Sitzposition ist schon optimal hoch.
Er macht ein stabilen Eindruck, die Liegeposition ist super bequem (einstellbarer Lordosensttze sei dank) und ich hab keine Angst das er unter mir zusammenbricht.
Gut aussehen tut er auch, finde ich.
Allerdings ist mir das ein oder andere aufgefallen (siehe Fotos). Am Drehkreuz und an den Rndern der Kopfsttze sind Schrammen und an der Rckenlehne lst sich beim Putzen mit einem feuchten Mikrofasertuch stellenweise der Lack abdas wre an sich nicht so schlimm, da man es im Alltag kaum wahrnimmt, aber nicht fr ~250.
Ein Preisnachlass ist allerdings nicht mglich, da der Verkufer nicht direkt kontaktierbar ist. Bleibt also wohl nur alles wieder abbauen, einpacken und wegschicken. Sehr nervig

Als Folge auf diese Rezension hat mich der Kundenservice von Cedric kontaktiert, um eine Lsung fr das Problem zu finden. Das ist schon Hammer Service, aber es wird noch besser. Ich habe anschlieend die Fotos an sie geschickt und ihre Reaktion war, mir einfach einen nagelneuen Stuhl zuzusenden und den alten darf ich sogar behalten. Sowas hab ich wirklich noch nie erlebt.

I absolutely love this chair. It is really good quality, with a sturdy construction. I was able to assemble myself quite easily – some of the parts are quite heavy but reassuringly so, as that’s due to the quality of the materials. The instructions are very clear to follow. In terms of comfort this chair is exceptional- providing excellent support for the back also and ensuring a decent posture. I use this daily to work from home and it has been nothing short of brilliant. Easy 5 stars.
I think you can judge the quality of an item by its weight. This is super heavy. It was easy enough to put together with good instructions and all the you need to assemble it. It has various moveable parts that you can adjust to suit your own comfort, as well as the usual adjustable things like headrest and seat height you can also adjust the height of the arms and the lumbar back support. It is made from a breathable patterned mess that is pretty taught so won’t sink. Wheels run smoothly and the whole chair feels sturdy with great support.
Loved the chair, I work from home and use the chair for really long hours. It’s comfortable and has good back support, love the neck support in the chair. Could improve on assembly instructions, but I had no problems in assembly. Was a bit disappointed for the armrest because it didn’t swivel. But when I contacted support they quickly and promptly replaced with 3D armrest that has swivel functionality. 5 stars for customer service. All in all one of the best buying decisions.
First impressions of this chair were great, it obviously comes in parts which you need to put together but the instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. Some of the parts on mine were also already done so it was even easier. All the tools you need to put it together are included and they also supplied spare screws and washers. Once the chair is assembled you can adjust the height, arm rests, back support and head rest to suit my work area perfectly.
In use I find the chair very comfortable, it’s almost springy to sit on and ideal for me as I’m sat at my desk all day. It doesn’t have a form seat it’s all like a plastic mesh material which sounds like it wouldn’t be comfortable but it does actually feel very light to sit on and gives great support.
The only constructive criticism I can give is the chair is quite heavy however the wheels are brilliant so you don’t notice it unless you need to carry up or down steps.
Overall I’m really happy with this chair, it looks great in my office! Would definitely recommend it, 5 out of 5 stars from me!

The chair was surprisingly straightforward to assemble and doable alone, with only what was in the box! Comfort is excellent in my opinion, though my old chair was rather awful so I’m not an expert! The mesh feels soft despite looking coarse, though I went for the white model for the cushioned seat.
It feels sturdy, a lot of it is built with metal rather than plastic which feels strong. Can’t yet comment on long-term usability, but so far I am impressed!

Pequesimas fotos donde es imposible saber que tornillo corresponde y dnde insertarlos. La nica manera es ir haciendo pruebas, y si no, probar de otra manera.
Parece mentira que, siendo un producto caro, no se esmeren en mejorar el manual de montaje.

It arrives well packaged and partially assembled, but with clear instructions and all the tools you need to put it together. I especially appreciated that the bolts and screws are taped to a card and individually identified. This made the assembly process very straightforward indeed.
Once the basic assembly is completed, there are levers to adjust the seat and arm height and the back tilt, so you can fix everything to the ergonomic position that best suits you. This means that the chair can be easily used by two or more people and easily adjusted to suit individual needs.
Once you get all the settings right, the chair is supremely comfortable. The mesh has a nice bit of spring to it, so there’s give when you sit down and again when you lean back. And for someone like me, who regularly suffers from lower back pain, the lumbar support is brilliant.
The wheels on the base turn smoothly, so it’s easy to move the chair around even whilst sitting on it. This is the case both on carpet and hard wood flooring.
Considering the overall quality of design, manufacture and functionality, I consider the 230 price tag (at time of review) very fair. An excellent product and highly recommended.

This chair from Cedric arrives nicely packed in a huge box. It comes with everything you need to put it together with clear and thorough instructions so it’s straightforward to follow and put together easily in less than 30 minutes.
My husband said this might be the most comfortable chair he has ever sat on. He is medium-sized, weighs around 100kg at 1.80m height and the chair seems to suit him perfectly. The chair has an adjustable height that can be adjusted using a lever below the seat that works as described. For his height, the chair is adjusted to the highest setting. The overall chair has a nice stretchable mesh fabric that fits the body nicely. The best features according to him must be the adjustable armrests, headrest and also the lumbar support.
So far, the chair has worked as expected, even though my husband is a little bit worried if there will be a problem with the hydraulic lift later, nevertheless, it’s good to know that this chair has a two-year warranty.
In short, my husband is very pleased with this chair. It seems like a well-made, robust and comfortable chair. He said he’s happy to recommend it.

This chair came very well packed, it was a bit fiddly to get together but we got there in the end. I’m sat in it right now and its the most comfortable chair I’ve ever used. You could easily fall asleep in it. I suffer really bad back pain and have found that this chair really helps with that, I can sit at my desk a lot longer than before. It adjusts to the height you want easily and the back adjusts to suit you. A bit pricey but worth every penny.
This is a reasonably comfortable office chair that I have been using daily for the last three weeks at my home office desk and in general I like it. It comes in pieces in an enormous box, which is a little daunting to start with, but the instructions are reasonably clear and it only takes around 30 minutes to construct.
It has all the controls you would expect: Up and down, backwards and forwards, plus an adjustable lumbar support and headrest. The headrest is a nice touch that I’ve never had before and I do find it comfortable to use.
The webbing type fabric that supports you is surprisingly comfortable, just as much as the more traditional padding you find on most chairs.
I reluctantly have to take one star off, though and it’s because of a comfort issue in one area. The hard plastic surround at the front of the chair tends to press on the back of my thighs and whilst it’s not enough to cause enough discomfort to want or need to stop using it, it is somewhat uncomfortable. If the could just add a bit of padding there, it would be nigh on perfect.
Other than the small niggle with the thighs, I like this and would recommend.

This chair was fairly simple to assemble with all parts included. When made it looks very smart and modern with the black chair and headrest with the silver stand. It moves well with the wheels and the sizing is good, with lots of adjustments to make if you need them. The chair is extremely comfortable and is ideal for long periods of time.
Der Stuhl kam sehr schnell per DHL an. Nach einer guten Stunde war er aufgebaut und der Mll war weg geschmissen. Der erste Eindruck war sehr gut, der Stuhl sieht gut aus und ist sehr stabil. Die ersten Tage im Home Office waren eine ganz neue Erfahrung. Ich war jeweils nach den 8 Stunden Arbeitszeit nicht mde und hatte keine Rckenschmerzen. Ich konnte das erste mal seit einigen Jahren problemlos sitzen. Ich habe schon einige Sthle probiert, aber der hier ist der beste. Der Preis ist etwas hoch, allerdings hlt der Stuhl was er verspricht. Nach einer Woche Home Office kann ich sagen, dass es sich lohnt lieber etwas mehr fr einen Brostuhl auszugeben als zu wenig. Ich werde gegebenenfalls die Rezension nach einigen Monaten nochmal anpassen.
Edit: Nach 12 Monaten gebrauch, steht meine Rezension immer noch. Sehr sehr guter Stuhl fr Leute die im Home Office arbeiten.

The build quality is really rubbish particularly if you spend a lot of time on the chair. The chair’s mechanism of pushing the backplate towards you that helps you maintain a healthy posture broke very easily can cannot be fixed.
All the elements of the chair have started to come loose less than a year after purchase.

High quality, ergonomic and very comfortable for this long term sufferer of sciatica, lower disc and hip troubles.
Straightforward to assemble with minimum of fuss. It’s not only comfortable, it’s incredibly stylish too.
Overall, it’s a great addition to my home office and it’s s big improvement on my old so called executive chair that had seen better days. It’s perfect for my 5″9 15stone stature and gives a genuine sense that the designers knew exactly what they were doing as it really performs in real world use so I’d happily recommend this Cedric chair as I’m far happier with it than without.
I’m really pleased to own this office chair. Its very good looking and has minimalistic design as well. It arrived in pretty big, square-ish box and required straightforward assembly.
All the bolts, screws, connection bits are included which is obvious. Instruction with images is provided so no trouble at all with putting the parts together.
Chair has mesh seat and backing, that’s unusual in comparison with old fashioned office chairs which has sponge padded seat and back. The mesh helps the air circulation and gives equal comfort. Its strong as well, even for plus size user.
The back can be tilted from 90 to 120 so resting on the chair is possible. Armrests and head rest also can be adjusted to user’s size and needs. Seat also can go up and down, typically with all of the swivel chairs.
This chair looks very modern, stylish and is comfortable to sit on. The price is much higher than I would expect to pay for swivel chair though..
My brother needed a new chair as one of two cats loves to scratch synthetic leather (which his old chair was made from) and as a result had pretty much ruined it. This mesh chair has turned out to be a boon. The cat has investigated it and is not interested in scratching it and it has been well over a week now. So if you have a cat that likes scratching leather or synthetic leather office chairs then this might be a good option for you as well.
It arrives in a cardboard box and it is *very* heavy so please be aware of this. On opening and obtaining the instructions, which was in very small lettering, you will likely find that some steps were unnecessary to do as it is already assembled in this regard.
My brother says that anyone with basic DIY knowledge would be able to assemble this chair; all tools necessary to assemble the chair are included. Please note: do not be alarmed if you have spare fixings when you have assembled the chair as that’s exactly what they are: spares!
As with all desk chairs regular maintenance (checking tightness of bolts) is required, says my brother who assembled the chair and is using it.
My brother says that the chair is very comfortable and is less comfortable than the padded synthetic leather chair he had previously, but he is happy with it (especially as the cat shows no interest in scratching it). The chair tilts but does not have a full range of functions as other high end office chairs do.
There is some lumber support and you can adjust this to some degree, and there’s also a head rest (adjustable too). My brother appreciates and likes both these aspects of the chair.
Priced at 183.82 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, my brother says it is value for money as it is well built, is sturdy and durable (as it has an aluminum base and the pedestal attached to the seat of the chair is unlikely to push its way through the base frame). First impressions, it came very securely boxed and packaged within. However when it arrived a family member accepted the delivery and was unable to lift the box in the front door, at around 20KG the box is fairly heavy, so keep this in mind. I decided to assemble downstairs to save the struggle up the stairs and for a bit more space. With everything out the box it’s split into acceptable pieces as you’d expect, included with an instruction manual a couple tools and the screws you need for assembly, plus an extra one of each screw (which I thought was a smart move) should something happen and you loose one (usually my luck..) Set up took around 20 minutes or so on my own mostly guessing to see how easy it would be with a little guide from the instructions, so fairly straight forward! For assembling, I’d recommend a having a helping hand on standby as assembling the back support to the bottom was a little tricky.
Upon the first seat on it, I was very impressed. Offers excellent comfort, definitely more than I was expecting from looking at it. Arm supports are vertically adjustable, it has the usual adjustable height that would suit any size desk. The back tilt is very smooth and the chair doesn’t feel like it might almost throw you off the back if it tilted too quickly. With adjustable lumbar support for your mid back you can really adjust it to your ideal seating position. Although it has minimal padding, the mesh material is very cushiony and sculpts to your body perfectly. A week in with using it I feel it has improved my back posture and I don’t feel in the slightest I’ve been slouching over my desk because it’s not been supportive enough. At 6ft tall, this chair is perfect and I can use the headrest with ease. I’m able to sit at my desk sitting back with my head on the headrest and it feels great. Usually before I’ve been slouching over because of bad back support and the headrest being too far back where it’s not use for looking at monitors.
Quality wise, excellent. No squeaking, no creaking, the wheels move very freely which is great for moving away, but when on laminate flooring it can sometimes move too easily, but this is a minor issue. You can tell it’s built with the best materials and has been focused for maximum comfort. The only slight thing I’d comment on is the hard plastics around the bottom part of the chair where you sit on, depending on your seating position this may be slightly discomforting, but I understand this is probably because this is where the mesh is anchored to and it couldn’t be a soft leather finish, for example.
Currently at a price point of 229.77 this might seem a lot for an office chair, but it’s most certainly worth it. I’ve previously bought cheaper office chairs which I can safely say have not been good for sitting in for 9 hours a day, and parts have failed much sooner than they should. With this chair from Cedric, I feel it will hold up to years of use, and you’ll definitely be getting your 200 worth.
Overall, excellent chair, very good quality parts and materials made for long hauls sitting in the office. If back posture and head support is an interest to you, then I highly recommend this product.
My son works from home, and previous office chairs – two of them in fact – costing half the price of this one have broken with no effort on his part. This one seems to be much stronger and more comfortable, and I would feel a lot happier parting with a couple of hundred pounds knowing that.
When it arrived the first thing that struck me was that despite what other reviewers had said, it was in a relatively compact box which I managed to carry through the house without too much bother. I let my son assemble it, which he eventually did despite a few choice words along the way. The instructions are far from clear and it isn’t made obvious that they in fact relate to more than one product.
Once assembled it can be adjusted without any real effort. I should point out that my wife has personal experience with specialised chairs such as this, and in the office where she works it’s usual to have a “chair assessment” when someone needs one on medical grounds. If you’re spending this much money on a chair and you’re buying it to help with maybe a back condition for example, it might be an idea to take some medical advice first to make sure that it’s going to help.
If on the other hand what you want is a nice, strong, comfortable chair to use for extended periods, I’d recommend this with no hesitation.
I already have one ergonomic chair in my house but as this is going back to the office I was thrilled to order/try out this one- so far so good with this and will be great for the days I remain working from home.
Comes in quite a large box as you’d expect for the size of a office/gaming chair. Does require assembling but it’s actually really straight forward to do- far more straight forward than I imagined. Gives really detailed instructions how to set this up and doesn’t take long at all to complete.
Has typical office chair roller bottom that you can move around your desk whilst still sat on the chair. Many types of adjustable features on this to get it right for you- even down to adjustable arm rests so that you are positioned at the right posture angle.
Has a head rest at the top in order to make sure you spine is aligned. It’s easy to push upwards so that you are actually not using it-which I have done as I kept moving around and knocking into it.
Has a support structure situated towards your lower back. Again this is to ensure that you are sat in the right posture in the chair- especially when you are spending long periods of time at your desk.
Mesh covering without padding so you may quite like that for a more sturdier feel chair, or you might want to put some cushions on it ect which works perfectly fine too.
Fully movable as it swivels around- as you’d expect from an office chair.
I’ve found this comfy to sit on whilst at my desk and does appear well made so I’m hopefully for durability. I imagine this could be used as a gaming chair also.
Priced at around the 200 mark is reasonable for an ergonomic chair (for reference the one I currently have was 1,400). This does make this an inexpensive way to have a more structured chair for working on.

This mesh office chair is actually very good, I was not sure about the mesh and was worried that it may be uncomfortable and could sag over time, but actually, I think I was worried for no reason, as the mesh is very firm and is very comfortable to set on and for the back, in an office chair you need a firm back part and seat to avoid cramps and pain over a long period of time.
So this chair is ideal it has a nice moveable headrest, it comes all the way down and supports the back of my head securely, also, it has a lumbar support, this is ok, as it does give support to the lumbar area, but really the mesh is very tight and holds your back firmly, but this support is a nice feature and does to a degree move up and down and give some support.
The chair has a recline mechanism, which is very easy to use, it allows the chair to recline back only and for me this is sufficient, I don’t really like my office chairs to tilt forward, but if you do, this is not a feature on this chair. You can also move it up and down and the arm rests are large and again you can adjust them up and down as well.
I did not make my chair, but I watched it being made, it took our handyman around 20 minutes to make, all of the parts to make it come in a nice plastic case with the allen keys and easy to follow instructions. So overall, I am very happy with this office chair, it is reasonable value for money, is very comfortable and will give good support to your back and head, so I will give this chair five stars.
I love this chair with the adjustable head rest and arm rest. The instructions were very clear and the assembling was easy. The whole structure feels very sturdy and the seat is nice and wide. The lumbar support is great for my lower back when I have to sit for 10 hours for work everyday. The seat is very comfortable, not overly spongy and seems to be moulded for maximum comfort. Love the mesh back that allows for air flow between my back and chair. The wheels are quiet when moving the chair.
Straight off the bat I’d suggest the head rest on this chair is a pointless addition – I am six feet tall and found that I would never lean so far back as to need a head rest – what are you doing? Sleeping on the job? So I took it off once I’d had a go on it – also to honest I didn’t think the plastic based mechanism to adjust the head rest would last very long in continuous usage.
The chair is easy to assemble, although the instructions aren’t particularly well presented – diagrams rather small, but good to have some spares screws and whatnot left over. All the mouldings, metal parts and indeed the mesh and plastic parts are really well put together.
For me, I was disappointed with the comfort. The lumber support is rather like a torture device which no amount of adjustment could improve upon – I would rather take it off entirely but this is not easily done – perhaps a hacksaw might come into play soon. But that’s not all – I have had two foam-based seats on my previous office chairs and these are far more comfortable and provide a better shape for my posterior. The mesh seat on this chair is curved at the back and front and for me is really not a friendly design. So much so that I am currently sitting on my old foam-based chair, wondering what I can do to make the mesh chair more comfortable. No amount of adjustment seems to improve the situation and I am may need to buy a foam insert to alleviate the situation which after 1 day’s use led to a bad back.
Extremely comfortable swivel (with caster base) office chair.
The chair is fitted with high density mesh cloth for the back and the seating to prevent you from overheating and sweating to allow airflow.
The chair also has a adjustable head rest support & lumbar support (that can easily be adjusted by rotating the button) to help support different size body frames.
There is a 7 level height adjustment arm rest which is also easily adjusted by pushing the button on the side.
The seat height can be altered by the pull up of the lever.
The chair back can also be tilted.
The chair itself can be altered to in any which way to the the required specifications of your needs very easily.
Very easy to assemble (took about 15mins) with all tools and parts neatly attached to a piece of card for quick and easy assembling. Spare bolts were provided if required (which was very useful).
Was very impressed with the special note attached to the chair with contact details for the company for there online after sale service (they will reply within 24hrs if you have any issues and will promptly provided any parts required) which seems excellent service.
Comes with a clear instruction guide and mentation.
Overall this is a very high quality chair which is perfect for office/home office/arts & crafts room.

This is an excellent office check. I love how the shape of it supports your body throughout. The curve of your spin is supported , your neck and your arms. A lof of the chair is adjustable so you can customise your seating position. The fabric is like a mesh, its strong and durable but you don’t get hot because it is breathable. The gas lift system is easy to work and I like that this goes low enough to go under my desk this time. The wheels are brilliant , they smoothly roll and the chair swivels and spins excellently, no clicking or squeaking. It was easy to assemble but I did ask someone to help me so maybe its a 2 man job. The chair is not that heavy, the base bit is but the rest is quite light weight. I think the design looks good and it is very ergonomical. If you are after a fully adjustable, durable and supportive comfortable office chair for home or work the this one ticks all the boxes.
I’ve constructed many of these office chairs in my lifetime, but of all of those, the Cedric ergonomic mesh chair has to have been the easiest of all. The included small, but graphically well depicted assembly stages should allow you to construct this chair in a little over 20 minutes and with a little tweaking over time, have you comfortably positioned for your gaming or work routine. You will also notice that in each individual blister pack of assembly bolts, there is a spare, I thought that a nice touch.
Padding in this chair may be conspicuous by its absence but that in no way lessens the comfort provided by this seat, and the one great advantage is that the chair is extremely breathable, a must in my opinion, if you spent long periods of time at the keyboard.
With this chair, your comfort can be further enhanced by the removable headrest, which can be tilt-adjusted to suit your positioning. Furthermore, the arm rests can be heightened and lowered to suit, which I particularly like, as I believe it helps reduce wrist strain when operating the mouse, especially if you get the level just right. Also, more importantly, the designers haven’t missed out on lumbar support which is well provided for by this chair and an absolute must, particularly if you suffer from lower back problems.
Comfort aside, this is a well-designed office chair which has been manufactured using quality materials throughout to give an overall product that is both ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing and yet, feels robust and tough enough to cope with the demands of the work-from-home regime which has been imposed on many of us by Covid.
In summary, a very comfortable office chair with plenty of adjustability to suit your personal comfort zones. If its comfort, quality and good value you want in equal measures, then the Cedric mesh office chair is certainly well worth consideration. I thoroughly recommend.
I’ll have to live with it for a few weeks before rendering a proper verdict. For the time being I’m posting this review early as I’ve already taken the video and pictures so there is no need to delay posting them. They will tell you more than my words can.
It was easy and quick to assemble but I do have prior experience putting chairs together. Also I had help from a second person to hold things while the other screws the bolts in place.
NOTE 10/1/22: The chair is fine. I have no real complaints but I don’t feel inclined to overpraise it either. I still think the backrest is further back than it should be. The right armrest wobbles slightly at the lowest setting. As I say: the chair fine but I wouldn’t recommend it with fulsome praise. Instead I would say the chair isfine. It will do. I’ve changed the star rating from 5 to 4 stars.
This chair arrived in a large cardboard box and, initially at least, assembly looked to be pretty daunting. The instructions provided are pretty inadequate, and are further complictated by the fact that the instruction booklet include instructions for two different models.
Thankfully, it was easier than anticipated. It is delivered partly assembled, with only a few minor procedures to be completed to join the main pieces together. One os the steps is really a two-man job, but the instructions give no indication of that. As mentioned earlier, the instructions are pretty inadequate, and luckily construction was pretty intuitive.
Now that it’s been put together (it only took 15 mins), I am very happy with it. It’s comfortable, a decent height, easily movable, and it seems to provide decent support in all the right places. I sat in it, off and on, for around eight hours yesterday, with no ill effects. I may invest in pads for the seat and back, but that’s a personal choice, and I don’t think either are absolutely necessary.
This chair is replacing one bought from a nationwide office supplies company, admittedly for only half the price. That chair basically collapsed after less than a year of daily use. It was still in its guarantee period, but the replacement only lasted a little longer, collapsing just outside its guarantee period. I’m not particularly slim, but even at 13 stone, the chairs should have been far more resilient. I am hoping this one will be, and I will update my review at some time later, when it has been used for a prolonged period.
Most reviews of this product have concentrated on what a nice chair it is, with comfy arms and back etc. They are all true, with it being a step up in quality from my previous chair. However, hardly any mention the self-assembly. Therefore, I have included some photos of exactly how it turns up, so you can see for yourself how much ‘skill’ at DIY is needed. Before it arrived I was a bit concerned about the steel back frame and how this was attached to the rest of the seat. Well, much to my surprise, it is already attached to the back of the frame. The rest of the chair was easy enough to do, especially as a trio of Allen keys are provided. The instructions are very good and come in a colour booklet that has lots of pictures of the chair being assembled. I found the whole thing took around 40 mins to assemble, which sounds like a long time but, given the use you hope to get out of it, is not long really. Of course, once up, it is a fine chair, with excellent back and arm support. For the price it is expensive – I got my previous one for about 80 pounds from a different retailer – but this does come with more add-ons, such as a headrest. Therefore I have no qualms at all in recommending this chair to potential buyers.

No slo me ha dado mi regalo sino que se ha preocupado de que estuviese contenta al 100%, me ha mostrado un vdeo de cmo colocar el soporte de la cabeza de una manera especial para mi altura y me ha recordado los dos aos de garanta que tengo.

This is my first office chair but im given to understand that theyre very expensive so with this one being on the cheaper side its very good value for money. Ive been using it for quite a while now and its pretty comfortable. Definitely better than my old gaming chai

Estuve mirando varios modelos de silla para teletrabajar en casa. Inicialmente pens en una silla de gaming como la que tiene mi hijo de media gama pero finalmente me he decidido por una ergonmica que desde mi punto de vista son ms cmodas.
He recibido el paquete y la silla viene desmontada en una caja bastante grande que pesa unos 20 Kg. El envo entiendo que debi de ser desde China porque tard una semana en recibirla. Viene bien protegida con plstico de burbujas y con las partes bien separadas y aisladas. Muy difcil que pueda daarse el interior.
Lo mejor que le he visto:
-El montaje es sencillo, viene con los tornillos y llaves necesarias en un blister plastificado que hace que no se pierda nada y viene con un pequeo libro de instrucciones con varios idiomas que esta traducido con “google traslator” del chino pero que es suficiente ya que con las fotografias es fcil ver los pasos a seguir y los tornillos a utilizar. Te llevar 15 minutos montarla. Adems te ofrece la posibilidad de que el asiento tiene dos posiciones para que puedas fijar con los tornillos si quiere mas adelante o detrs el asiento con respecto al respaldo.
– Me gusta mucho la confortabilidad que tiene tanto el asiento como el respaldo que estan hecho con una malla agujereada que hace que se adapte muy bien al cuerpo. El asiento por la parte delantera tiene un relleno de espuma que hace que las piernas estn bien apoyadas.
– La sensacin que tramite la silla es de moderna y robusta.
– Tiene un pistn tipo 3 que funciona bien para su elevacin lo que permite que puedas elevarte desde 49 cm hasta 59 cm- Mido 1.80 cm y me queda muy bien de altura.
– Dispone del tpico regulador giratorio bajo el asiento para que puedas ajustar la tensin del balanceo hacia atrs con diferentes presiones. Yo de momento ni lo he tocado.
– Puede reclinar la silla hacia atrs y dejarla fijada en el punto que te guste o permitir que este libre para balancearte segn te inclinas sobre el respaldo. Personalmente la tengo fija en 90 grados.
– Los apoyabrazos son de una goma blanda que se siente bien y se puede regular en altura. Viene muy bien protegidos para que no se marquen ni daen. No puedes girarlos. Y puedes pegarlo mas o menos al asiento con los tornillos de fijacin que tiene al chasis.
– Tiene un soporte lumbar por detrs del respaldo que es regulable en altura y profundidad. La regulacin en profundidad se hace girando una rueda que funciona bien y se nota considerablemente.
– Dispone de un reposa cabezas que de momento casi no utilizo pero que se adapta bien. El sistema de basculacin fija su dureza de movimiento con un tornillo y la altura es un simple sistema de deslizarlo de arriba y abajo que es mejorable.
– Dispone de un armazn metlico para darle consistencia a todo el respaldo que transmite buena robustez.
Lo que me gusta menos:
– La ruedas podan tener goma para que fuera mas silenciosas.
– La malla del asiento me ofrece dudas en cuanto a su resistencia. De momento llevo usndola unos das y parece que cede correctamente y se recupera pero no tengo nada claro que con el tiempo ceda y tope con los tornillos y salientes que tiene por debajo el chasis de plstico. Peso 85 Kg.
– El soporte lumbar cuando lo subes o lo bajas suena como que es una cremallera de dientes por lo que parece que no es muy fiable.
– Las patas y el armazn son metlicos lo que hacen que la silla pese considerablemente pero que espero que ofrezca durabilidad.
He visto sillas similares que cuestan el doble y son muy parecidas. Creo que merece la pena por la relacin calidad/precio.
Cuando lleves 2-3 semanas de uso actualizar la resea y ver como ha evolucionado la malla del asiento que es lo que realmente tengo dudas de su durabilidad.

Dieser Stuhl hat dieses Problem fr mich gelst. Perfekte Kopfsttze mit genau der richtigen Balance aus Steifigkeit und Nachgiebigkeit. Die Hhe des Stuhls und der Kopfsttze haben beide eine groe Flexibilitt. Die Bewegung der Rckenlehne ist intuitiv und hat fr jeden Wunsch den richtigen Hrtegrad.
Heutzutage ist es bei fast jedem Stuhl auf dem Markt unmglich, effektive Armlehnen zu haben und Ihren Krper dennoch nah am Tisch zu halten. Es ist nur eine Funktion davon, wie hoch das Ganze sein muss. Die Sttzen mssen fast auf gleicher Hhe mit dem Tisch sein, oder sie sind ineffektiv und das bedeutet, dass sie zu 100% gegen den Tisch stoen.
Ich litt unter diesem Problem mit diesem Stuhl, habe mich aber damit befasst, bis ich es endlich satt hatte und sie abschraubte, was die Erfahrung in den meisten Fllen etwas besser machte. Ich wollte Abstandshalter anbringen, um die Griffe abzusenken, aber mir wurde klar, dass es nutzlos wre, da sie angehoben werden mssen, um den Tisch zu erreichen …. dann hatte ich die Idee, sie rckwrts zu installieren und es ist das Beste, was ich je gemacht habe . Meine Stuhlprobleme sind fr immer vorbei. Ich bezweifle, dass viele Sthle das gleiche Ergebnis erzielen. schau dir die Fotos an.
Optisch sieht er nicht sonderlich aufregend aus, aber dafr ist die Funktionalitt zufriedenstellend. Ich habe den Stuhl fr meinen Schreibtisch in der Schule bestellt, allerdings habe ich ihn erstmal noch hier im Haus stehen und alles genau ausprobiert und eingestellt.
Great chair. Easy to assemble and sturdy. Quite stylish, if you can say that about office furniture! Only downside would be that the back support cushion is quite hard and a bit low down for me – it cannot be height adjusted. Using with additional memory foam back cushion and like that it’s perfect. Delivery was quick and all parts present & correct!

I would say its better to buy a bit more of an expensive chair as if you are working from home, getting work done or gaming you will be spending 5-10 hours per day in this chair.
I have found from past experience that the quality of an office chair can be easily deduced by the weight of the box that it is delivered in. By this rule, this Cedric office chair was by far the heaviest box I have experienced! The box mas massive and weighed a ton. Luckily, I had a work colleague to help me transport it to work and help me build it. This was order for myself for my work office. It took about 30 minutes to build but was easy with the instructions. The resultant chair is very comfortable. There is good support and ‘spring’ to the mesh material. It provides good lower back support and position of your spine and neck generally. It has a nice design and looks good in my office.
I am happy with this chair and the pricing.
So, lets have a look: it comes in a large box, partially assembled, with instructions (which contain pictures), all the tools you need and the relevant screws and bolts. A nice touch is that the hardware is packed on a card stating which bolt is which – and you get a spare for each one – a nice touch.
Assembly is simple – you add the arms to the bas, the seat to the base, the back to the assembly you now have, then drop it onto the support. Finally you add the headrest (if you need it). Simple.
There’s adjustments for arm height and headrest and seat height. You can assemble the arms to various chair widths (this isn’t “adjustable” in use as the arms need to be bolted securely to the base). The seat can be placed on the base in one of two positions to allow for leg length. Again, it’s not a variable setting – you need to have the parts securely bolted together. Finally there’s an adjustable lumbar rest which is handy – it really helps my back.
The seat and back are mesh, there’s no fabric and foam, and no hard base beneath it, so if you, like me, have a problem with your coccyx you’ll probably like this chair as your coccyx doesn’t make contact with anything other than a mesh layer with air behind – an excellent feature, and the one which drew me to this chair.
The chair does rock a bit when set to maximum height, but so do many far more expensive ones so I’m not knocking a point off for that. Beyond that, it’s sturdy, comfortable for long periods and has plenty of adjustments that should make it comfortable for most people. It’s a little pricey, compared with some chairs you can get for a home office, but the quality of the parts and the comfort/sturdiness means it is good value despite that.
Keep the tools, should it need to be re-adjusted or tightened up.
Bearing all that in mind I think I’d give around 4.5 stars, but as I can’t I’m rounding up to 5 as I think it’s closer to that than 4.
I loved this chair when it first arrived but the back support completely ceased working and I’ve just investigated underneath the seat and discovered that the metal has broken apart. I see I’m not the only customer to have this experience. Incredibly disappointing. UPDATING my original review as the company reached out to me following my review above and offered to send me a replacement chassis which has rectified the issue — impressed by their help and how quickly they replaced the broken part. Love the chair again now!

Works really well for me. Not an Aeron, but doesn’t cost what an Aeron does. Really good value for money, unlike cheap (or even some more expensive chairs) you can actually lower the arm rests lower than the height of your elbows!

Love the mesh seat and back as it forms around your body while providing great support without any pressure points. Is easy to assemble and chrome finish against the black looks great. The seat is only missing the ability to move arm rests forward and backward, which for the price, should be a standard feature.
I honestly like this chair very much. The only criticism I can think is that the back support doesn’t go up and down. But for the price I think it’s fine.
comfortable and ergonomic chair, that is still comfortable to sit on, even at the end of the day. I had a problem with the chair tilt mechanism after 8 months, but when I contacted Cedric Furniture, they responding within 24 hours, and had sent me a replacement part within the week – really excellent customer service, which is just what you want.
Compared to other chairs in the same price range I believe this is a good deal. The chair got shipped to Ireland only after 15 days after the order. Did not have any issues assembling the parts. The mesh feels hard as some reviewers mentioned but is not a problem for me.
Initially I was worried the chair would take time to put together, however the process only took me about 20 minutes. The chair is very comfortable and has great support for your lower back. The headrest is an added bonus to keep your posture in check.

Doesn’t tilt forward: Minor gripe, doesn’t let you sit forward if you like
I wasn’t sure about buying a home office chair online, I wanted to sit in it first!! But that wasn’t an option with lockdown, I had a back ache from my 10 year old office chair that was worn out and I needed one QUICK!
An hour of research and I took a chance on this Cedric chair!
Two weeks in and my back ache has gone, I’m also sitting up straight!! It’s the most comfortable office chair ever. Solid and well made and the price didn’t break the bank.

La silla es perfecta. Mido 1,87m y he tenido problemas en encontrar sillas que se adaptaran a mi estatura, pero esta se adapta a la perfeccin. El reposacabezas, que era el elemento que ms problemas me daba, me va bien. Los materiales parece que son de calidad y pude montarla yo slo. Eso s, la silla pesa bastante.
Llevo con ella una semana y de momento todo bien. Cualquier cosa, actualizar la opinin.

So far most comfortable and flexible chair I owned. Price wise it was hight than my previous ones however quality and support is also great than my previous ones.
Same as other ones this came flat packed and needed minimum assemble.
It bounces back when needed just relax for couple seconds. On bottom has regular to amend the flexibility.
Head rest also 3D style which mean it moves together with my head up down and rotation.
Made from meshing material which gives great support and comfort without letting sweat.
It has wide base which makes it quite stable even on max recline back.
Overall great value for money , considering it’s flexibility and comfort.
I needed a more ergonomic chair as pandemic work-from-home for almost a year now has been bad for my posture. I wanted something that was adjustable in every way – and this chair is it. Importantly (for me) the lumbar support can be both adjusted vertically and horizontally. I’ve been able to set this chair up perfectly – it is much more comfortable and supportable than my old chair. Assembly is straightforward and all necessary tools are supplied along with spare screws. The mesh material the chair is made from is surprisingly supportive but still very comfortable. Finally (if you care about such things) – the chair has ‘good looks’ and is very smart (great for video-conference meetings!) I am very pleased with my purchase.

Unico appunto: uno dei “blocchetti” in plastica per alzare ed abbassare un bracciolo arrivato rotto. In ogni caso completamente funzionante. Tuttavia, per questo motivo non posso dare 5 stelle.
The chair is easy to assemble and of good built quality. Looks rather spacey in design. I would recommend it, the only drawback is that the lower back and head support is not adjustable up and down so for shorter people could be an issue. I am 6.4ft and I find it works fine.
El reposacabezas regulable y el respaldo inclinable, dos caractersticas que considero indispensables al elegir una silla de despacho, permiten ajustar la posicin de manera que las largas horas frente al ordenador se pasan mejor. Es tan cmoda que si no vas con ojo te puedes quedar dormido porque se reclina bastante hacia atrs y la cabeza queda muy bien apoyada. El apoyo lumbar es regulable en sentido de acercarse o alejarse de la espalda y tambin verticalmente unos 4 centmetros.
El montaje fue sencillo. Lo pude hacer sin ayuda. Los materiales parecen de buena calidad y resistentes. Es justo lo que estaba buscando. Sigue siendo necesario seguir los consejos de los profesionales de la ergonoma para tener una buena postura al estar tantas horas sentado, pero la silla ayuda mucho por cmo est diseada. Muy contento con la compra.
I had the unfortunate experience of the chair failing to give back support (see original review below) which led to a 1-star review. However, the customer service team at Cedric contacted me in response to my review. They quickly identified the cause of the problem and offered me a simple solution: slightly loosen the nut opposite the back lock lever. This fixed the issue and rescued the chair from its trip to the recycling centre.
I did debate whether to hold off giving a full 5 stars given that I had the issue below, but in light of the excellent customer service and the fact that the chair is very comfortable and supportive once again I’m happy to do so.

At first this was a great chair. Very comfortable and supportive throughout the day. On hot days the mesh (back and seat) came into its own.
And the one day I leaned back, nothing beyond a normal rest, and suddenly the hinge at the base of the backrest gave way. I nearly fell out of the chair.
After that the chair could never be relied upon for back support. Just at the moment I felt it was fine and I relaxed (say leaning back while on the phone) it would give out again without warning and I’d get a sudden jolt of adrenaline as I frantically grasped at the desk to save me.
So this chair is going to the recycling centre.

Since the pandemic began, I’ve been looking for an awesome chair that will provide support for me while I work from home and sometimes work very long hours. I used to have pain in my back and shoulders every day because I just didn’t have the right support or chair. That is now gone, I don’t have aches and pains anymore because of this chair. I was not quite sure about the mesh in it, but I am here to tell you…this chair is beyond perfect for me. It took maybe 10-15 minutes max to get it setup and it was ready to go. I started using it right away and after the first day I noticed that I wasn’t aching in my shoulders when I was done with a long day. Fast forward to an 18-hour workday…. not one ounce of back or shoulder pain after being in this chair for 18 hours! As a matter of fact, the ergonomic design curves to my body and the adjustable headrest and lumbar support, seat angle and arm rests make it exactly what I needed but just didn’t realize it. Yes, it’s an investment but in this day and age, it’s well worth it because who knows how long things will be the way they are. I use this chair every single day while I work, and it has made a huge difference for me. I absolutely love my chair and wish I had gotten it sooner.
This chair is very comfortable, easy to assemble and well priced. However, as there is no vertical adjustability on the back piece it may be uncomfortable for people over 6 foot. I am just about 6 foot and even though the lumbar support is slightly too low for my back and so is the headrest, I can just about get away with it – so overall would not recommend if you are over 6 foot but apart from that, it’s a very good chair.
Coming from cheap “gaming” chairs that lacked even basic tilt functionality, this was a welcomed change. The chair is very comfortable for a mesh chair. Obviously don’t expect Lazy Boy levels of comfort, it is still an office chair and there is no traditional padding. That said, the mesh is very comfortable to me, has a little give to allow your body to settle in but always retains is shape after you get up, at least so far (2 months in). Lumbar support is very nice too, haven’t had it on any of my office chairs until now and it makes a world of difference having proper back support. Although it’s worth noticing that there is no way to adjust it vertically, only horizontally. So this may be an issue if you’re a little taller. I’m about 1.70 meters and I find it just high enough, so something worth considering.
Quality:
Quality is overall good, but not necesarily perfect. Some parts are a little “rough around the edges” though in my case all of these lower quality aspects were contained to the parts you wouldn’t normally see, such as the underside of the armrest pads.
Overall, this is a very nice office chair and I am very pleased with it. I would recommend it if you’re happy with the aforementioned small downsides and the price.
Excellent chair. Comfortable, fully adjustable and considering I’m spending about 8-10 hours a day in it, I’ve no issues at all! Totally recommend!
Very pleased with this chair. I paid just over 200 for a chair which has similar features to other models which are in the 350+ range – so excellent value, if you shop around like I did.
The chair is solid and that comes from parts which are well built and made to last. The only niggle was the fact that the bolts in the kit were labelled from but nothing a bit of common sense didn’t fix.
The chair is VERY comfortable, with a great (adjustable) tilt and excellent lumbar and neck support. The mesh seat and back mean zero sweat and you can genuinely sit in this for hours and not feel uncomfortable.
I gave it 5 stars as it is what it is – a value choice made around a budget. It ticks all my boxes and meets all my requirements. Do I need to go and waste 1k on a Herman Miller? No, because I’m not a gullible idiot.
Overall, a fantastic addition to my home office: a truly ergonomic chair which not only performs functionally but also looks VERY stylish too. A very happy customer – and one who rarely writes reviews!
The original chair arrived damaged in a few places. The aftercare can not be faulted, new parts were speedily received and even a video was sent to assist us.

Spot on! Very comfy chair. I had a much more expensive one at work and this is as good but minus a zero on the price tag. It arrived 3 weeks before Amazon predicted it would (within 5 days of ordering).
I did have a few questions and needed to contact customer services but they were quick to respond and really helpful.
Although I initially had a problem with the product, the team were quick to fix and provide me a replacement part after I raised a concern. The chair is excellent and comfortable with great support to my back.
I picked up an open-box unit that they had at the time. The description said that the only thing wrong was that the original box was damaged. Its original box arrived as described within another perfectly fine box. All tools and necessary hardware was included. Instruction made it easy to figure out and assembly went smooth. I did purchase different wheel casters at the time to swap out since the plastic wheels included with 99% of this segment of office chairs are awful.
The build quality is good. The mesh is way more comfortable than I imagined and it has retained its stiffness since day one, which was one of my concerns with these type of ergo chairs. I sit in this chair for work, easily 6 hrs a day, and it has yet to give me any type of soreness or fatigue. Again, another concern I had. It’s also common for hardware to loosen, causing creaking and unwanted wobbliness after a lot of use, but this chair has held up pretty well throughout the year. Every now and then I check just to make sure, but it has been solid. I never use the recline functions for many of its capabilities so I can’t speak too much on it, but I do like a slight recline at times and the locking mechanism has worked fine in every instance. The same applies to the height adjustments. I set it at my desired height and it’s rarely changing from that position.
All around good chair. Would buy again.
So I received a new chair and the base they redesigned is amazing. Each arm of the base is done in a wrap style and then welded together, which is visible in my second photo. The base has lasted weeks thus far and I don’t see there being an issue with it anytime soon.
The tools, washers, and bolts are now included in a nice organizer, which might be a bit overboard, but at least you can reuse it for something else. The labeling of the parts was not consistent with the instructions which may cause some confusion. While most of the parts had extras, the one that fit the inner center hole for the arm rests did not and this bolt is also used elsewhere on the chair and I ended up using a bolt for the headrest as a replacement which in turn caused me to be short one bolt for the head rest which I didn’t attach.
There where a pair of gloves included as well, but they are way to small for the average American, and would actually be considered a “small” in terms of sizing.
Also included in with the chair was a shroud for the chair base, there was no need for this as the base looked fine and there was nothing to cover up in that area and using it makes the base look cheap, but I added it anyways and that is shown in the final photo.
Now, as for the chair itself. The chair is really comfortable and nice to lean back in when watching Netflix. I do wish the armrests had a swivel feature and padding. The one issue for me is that the chair seat sets too high for me. This means that my feet cannot touch the ground, I’m 5’8″, but heavyset which is why I originally bought this chair. If the piston lowered 1-2 inches more this would make the chair perfect for me. I will see if there is someone I know that need a chair and give this one to them as there are too many issue with me not being able to set my feet on the floor that makes this chair uncomfortable. Other than that this is a great chair, you just need to be 5’10 or taller to get the best benefit out of this chair.

The company that sells these chairs has been emailing me to BUY my review. They started at $10 and topped out at $80. I am not for sale and I stand by my review. They say that they have changed manufactures and that the issue has been resolved. If that is the case, then newer reviews will reflect that fact. I will make this offer to the company that sells these chairs. If you want me to change my review, then send be a new chair. While I will not delete any part of my review, I will update it to reflect any changes in the product.

The chair assembly can be done by one person, but would be easier with 2 people.
I sat in the chair and started working at my computer and about 20 minutes later 2, YES, TWO of the legs on the base snapped off near the casters. You can see this in other 1-Star reviews as well. I didn’t think to compare the base of my old chair to this new one prior to this issue, but I did afterwards. The chair I was replacing after more than 5 years of use had a base that had reinforced legs by using cross members and diagonal supports between the two sides of the legs, similar to what you would see on large bridges and spans. The base that came with this chair had none of that, which then lead to the failure of the legs. For a chair made to support a person that is heavier than most, but still under the load limit, this is a critical flaw.
