This was exactly what I was looking for. I was skeptical, given the price and historically, after market products don’t tend to work with the Switch, but this product exceeded my expectations. The controllers charged quickly, the lights are a great indicator. The charge also held really well, through a grueling family game of monopoly (which requires the controllers to vibrate each time it’s your turn, causing the battery to go faster).

This charger is very durable and sturdy. Much heavier and better quality than expected. It is very sleek and compact. Alot nicer than alot of other joycon chargers.

It’s easy to set up just plug it in and slide on you joy cons. Each of the 4 ports had a light so it will tell you individually when each joy con is charge which I found very nice. My family and I play Mario Party so we need more than 2 controllers at a time. This is handy and looks nice to just have set up in the living room.

The green and red lights aren’t working as described. Instead, they are just flashing randomly unless all joycons are fully charged.
If you are like me and play the switch on the TV most of the time, this is a great option for charging the controllers without having to take down the TV set up. They also light up red when the battery is low, and green when charged.
I have too many remotes to charge on the standard dock so this is an excellent upgrade – the led lights changing colour to let you know when they are fully charged is a great feature
You have to get this, if you don’t have a switch with dock. I have switch lites so I needed this in order to use the joy con’s.
Charges quickly and I love the lights.
Charges as expected. However, it tips over easily and the leds are super bright so maybe not the best if your gaming sustemis in your bedroom.
Easy charging for 2 sets of controllers. I’ve an extra controller for the switch and this plugs into the switch to let me change 1 or both sets when they are not being used. Very handy.

My daughter had bought one and said how good it was. I tried it out and it’s brilliant. Great when we know we’re playing games as a family and not disappointing 2 players as other controllers not charged
My only cons are these:
1) I’d like to see a longer power cord. The one provided I feel is too short.
2) Device is very light weight, which to me makes it feel unsturdy. It’d worry of it fell off a shelf or stand and would expect it to break. So far mine hasn’t, but I keep low to the ground and behind some glass doors.
Despite these two cons, I do truly enjoy it for what it does. I keep my controllers connected and the green light adds a nice nightlight to my living room.

This product is perfect for charging up to 4 joycon at once. I really like that it is incredibly small, seems to securely fit each joycon, plugs directly into the switch dock to charge, and has super bright less to let me know a joycon is fully charged or not. Couldn’t be happier with the simplicity and design of this product.
he light is a little annoying but it charges both controllers perfectly at the same time and give a clean look
Super easy to use. Basically plug and play. Works as it says. Easy to insert the remotes. LEDs are super bright. Alittle over board. Probably could have just done half of the strip they have but just preference.
Charging port came with 4 sides to charge the switch controllers. This little gadget worked wonders! We no longer play our switch because the calibration is off ( our issue) but when we did this charging port came in handy and it’s very cool. It lights up green when it’s all charged and red when it’s not fully charged. 10/10 would recommend

Le systme des couleurs vert et rouge est trs pratique pour savoir si a charge encore ou pas.
Comme lu dans les autres commentaires, il est vrai que le dessus des btons de couleur est trs vif, voire blouissant. Pour palier a, j’ai coll des petits bouts de Scotch noir sur les 4 dessus, du coup il ne reste que les btons qui sont clairs et c’est trs bien (car ils ne sont que lgrement clairs).

We’ve got like 800 switch controllers laying around – this is helpful to charge multiple at once. Hooks right to the switch cradle too, so it doesn’t take up too much space. Good price and fine quality.
This product is convenient and adorable. I can’t get over how compact it is. It’s super lightweight plastic but it doesn’t look too cheap once you plug it it. I love the lights and the overall design. Plus, it’s very reasonably priced. I recently bought a grip case for my switch and was looking for a way to charge and store my other joycons to use for when we’re playing on the TV, so I won’t have to remove the case constantly to switch out the controllers for charging. This is the perfect solution, and I like that you can tell at a glance which controllers are charged and which are not. I plugged it in to the USB port on my switch dock and it works like a charm. I have not been using it long, but my sister has been using the black version for months the same way with no issues. It is not an essential product for all switch users, but I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a more convenient way to charge multiple sets of joycons like I was (or, if you enjoy cute stuff that lights up).

Great for charging the switch controllers; however, I wish there was a way to turn the lights off on it. The lights on it are very bright, so I have to unplug the charger before going to sleep.
I liked the fact that it worked and it is easy to tell if it is charged at a distance. It is very lightweight and does not take up a lot of space. Red for charging, green when its charged. Very simple.

I really worried about getting what you pay for with this product. I was pleasantly surprised. I really like the led lights to show when the joy cons are charged and/or charging. I purchased another set of joy cons and bought this product so I didn’t have to keep swapping out what set was docked in the switch itself. I highly recommend this for anyone with multiple joy cons to charge.
Love that you can plug this into the Switch console and not need another electrical outlet. Green and red lights easily show you when the joysticks are charged. Fast charging and conveniently small.

Great charger for the value. Works as intended and the usb c charger is a plus. Durability I did not star it due to not having it long enough to test.
The remotes sit easily and safely on the doc while it charges. The green and red light to tell if they are charging or full with battery are very nice and not too bright. I love it!
my son bought this charger and he loves it. it is very nice because he has extra joy-cons. you can charge two of the joy-cons attached to the console, but if you have more, I would recommend this charge
I am not an “everyday” gamer so this does charge my controllers sufficiently. I did notice that it charges a little slow so when we have friends over to play games with us, we have to make sure the controllers are all charged up before we start.
The device is red when the controllers are charging and green when they are charged. BUT the green lights stay on even if there are no controllers in it. This actually drives me crazy. If I want to watch TV, I unplug the device because the light is so bright!
For the price, though, I don’t mind unplugging it when it’s not in use and it’s really cool to be able to charge four Joycons at once. Also, you can charge the controllers forward and backward, (it doesn’t seem to matter which way they face).
I would definitely recommend this product to my friends but I think I might purchase something different in the future. It’s a cheap choice but it does the job
It’s smaller and more fragile than I thought it would be. Afraid it may break over time since it’s so light weight. And the power cord is kinda short. But it works!
I’ve had it for several months now, and it still functions perfectly. Just plug into the back of the dock and slide the controls into place. Kids love the simple function, light turns green it’s ready to use.

CONCLUSION – I rated this 4 out of 5 only for the slow charging time. I’ve looked at similar options and I’ve decided to stick with this option. I like the black OEM look and feel to it.

This is nice and sleek. The design w/ the color coded light columns is a nice contemporary look that adds a sense of clash to my wife’s choice in rustic decor. But seriously, it does the job and it’s easy enough for my kids to use it to charge their Switch controllers.
The charger works great. I just wish the lights weren’t as bright. I just have to unplug it at night, but it would be nice if the lights would shut off after a certain amount of time.
I’ve had the charging dock for about a month now and it works as advertised. Controllers charge quickly and as another reviewer noted, the “light bars” look pretty nice all lit up. It’s definitely worth the money and my two young daughters have no trouble sliding the controllers onto the dock when they’re done playing.
I enjoy the light up mechanic to this it’ll turn red until charged which then will turn green. I’d say yes to value because it’s one small thing that can charge many.
Great charging stand dock for the remotes. Charges quick, and easy to use and setup.
One suggestion, include a dimmer for the charging lights. Lights are bright enough to illuminate a large room.

My g-baby boys love the ease of it and the “fastness” of charging.
I like how easy it is to use. My only qualm is that it is quite bright in the night and I wish there was some way to dim the lights.
