Thisbis a long term review…. This unit was delivered 12 months ago today. It was very easy to set up, touch controls are simple to use, the unit is absolutely silent (I have it on my bedside table), the watch cusions are just the right stiffness for both leather and metal straps, the pods easily accomodate a 46mm diameter watch ( 55mm would not be an issue if you had one that big) and there have been no issues with it at all in a year of continuous use.
The only thing you have to remember is that it has no back up power for the memory, so if you have a power cut, it has to be reprogrammed, however, as this takes about 2 minutes in total for all 4 pods, it really is not a problem.

Ich habe lange nach einen Uhrenbeweger fr meinen Mann gesucht. Man muss schon sich ein wenig schlau machen!
Passen die Uhren auf dem Kissen ohne das sie aneinander reiben. ( je nach Gre der Uhren). Auch sollten die Uhren nicht die Abdeckung berhren, da sonst Kratzer an den Uhren entstehen knnen. Hier stimmt alles.
Das Design ist sehr schn. Der Uhrenbeweger war gut verpackt . Keine Kratzer und gut verarbeitet. Der Motor ist so leise, das man Ihn berhaupt nicht hrt.
Mein Mann hat sich riesig darber gefreut.
Und wenn er weiter so viele Uhren kauft, werden wir wohl noch ein nachbestellen mssen. 🙂
Very happy with this product
It arrived within stated time and was exactly as described and is everything I hoped it would be . Workmanship on the winder is very good and it certainly looks the part. I have only had the winder a short time so cannot comment on longevity but first impressions are excellent .
A nice looking watch winder with options on directions number of turns per day etc. High quality finish. A bit high priced but you pay for a quality product. Hoping it lasts long

I have looking around at many watch winders. Reading all the good reviews on this I decided to purchase it. Well this is one of the best winders I bought. It’s made very nicely. The best feature is that the winders are very quiet. Your can’t put any watches in the drawers, they are too small. You can store small watch pieces or gold chains in it. A great purchase!

For the money, this is an exceptional winder. It provides a better display than much more expensive models, and still has individual adjustments, both in speed and direction. Having each watch on its own winder provides more flexibility in fitting larger watches, compared to models that will put two watches on a single motor. The drawer below is not useful with the enclosed pillows (they fill each slot, leaving no room for a watch), but does provide additional storage for watches or jewelery; you’ll just need to remove the pillows. It looks gorgeous in my home office, is the quietest of my two winders, displays the watches beautifully, and has enough adjustment I can wind any model watch on it. Highly recommended.
The quality is impressive. The grained gloss finish is quite attractive. The soft velvet-like lining will protect the watches. Operation is very straightforward with a variety of winding options. How it lasts over the long term time will tell. My only complaint is the 2-day Amazon delivery took 11 days – probably thanks to the inefficiency of Canada Post.

This item was a gift. We liked that it could take 4 watches at the same time. The case is very highly polished and looks more expensive that it is.
I ordered this product on a Saturday night and it arrived Wednesday morning….through regular shipping! I traded in my two watch winder (same manufacturer) and upgraded to the 4 watch unit you see here. It works very well. It is quiet and the digital display is easy to use and understand. Each watch can be set individually for rotations, direction and on/off. I have no hesitation recommending this product.

Moteur trs silencieux, je redoutais la sensibilit du tactile de l’ecean mais suis finalement agrablement surpris un simple effleurage suffit. Reste a voir la tenue dans le temps.
Der Uhrenbeweger ist einfach in Betrieb zu nehmen und zu bedienen. Ich schtze besonders, dass viel Platz fr die Uhren bleibt und diese trotz meines groen Handgelenksdurchmessers problemlos in das Gert passen. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass das Gert sehr leise und damit kaum hrbar arbeitet. Die Funktion der integrierten Schublade hat sich mir bisher nicht erschlossen, daher nur vier Sterne. Fr die Aufbewahrung von Uhren ist sie zu niedrig, vielleicht passt da Schmuck hinein, was ich nicht testen kann. Sie ist auch etwas hackelig und schwergngig beim Schlieen. Ansonsten handelt es sich hier um ein gutes Gert, das ich weiterempfehlen kann.
My son bought this to keep his watch collection in. The unit seems well built and the four winders can be operated independently at selected speeds. It seems fairly quiet but it really is early days to give a proper evaluation of the winder. For the price he paid you may just be able to get a single winder from one of the more substantial British brands so if it goes well it will be a good buy.

I have taken a while to write this review as I wanted to use the product for a few weeks to give it a proper testing. I have seen other watch winders, some costing 3-4 times what this product cost, only able to wind one or two watches at the same time and which have made a noise when in use.
Firstly, and it is an important factor when choosing where to place this winder. It is extremely quiet. I have it placed on the sideboard less than 3 feet from where I sit and I can’t here the motors working at all.
Secondly, the product itself is a beautiful looking piece of furniture. It looks large the first time you pull it from the box but as soon as you get it up and running it could very easily be the center piece for any table or sideboard. It looks stunning just sitting there, but add your watches and set it running and it looks fantastic.
Thirdly, it’s very simple to operate. very simple but effective touch screen control panel which is extremely responsive to your touch.
SInce my original purchase I have purchased a second unit.
To sum up – Extremely quiet 4 watch winder, stunning to look at, beautifully finished.
Touch control really handy, great overall design and high quality product.
This adds so much quality to the collection.

I’m very happy with the super quiet motors and the ability to customise the winding motion for each mount. There’s also the added bonus of being able to store up to 3 more watches in the drawer beneath.
Was a Christmas present for my husband, he loves it, the only thing he says is the draw is to small to store any other watches.

Don’t be fooled by the small price, everything about this winder is TOP QUALITY. The look is beautiful: the wood very slick and glossy. The velvety interior is very rich and the cushions hold the watches perfectly. As there is only one centered watch per motor, the watches can be heavy dive watches and that’s no problem. The motors are truly noiseless. I can’t tell when it’s working and it’s right by my bed at night. The lighted display is super easy and intuitive to use and to set.
Only one thing to note: the bottom drawer is said to be able to hold 3 watches, but unless they are paper thin the space is too tight to do it with the cushions in them. I use the drawer to store watch related tools and parts, instead.
As per the winding itself, my automatic watches are having a blast and are always ready to go.
All in all, an awesome watch winder at a very fair price. You won’t regret getting it!
I have two eight-watch winders already (I’m a bit of a collector), but wanted a winder in an apartment I use in SE Asia, visiting every other month. I like to keep my watches constantly wound, and these winders help keep the movements in, well, motion, and hence operational. My other two winders were from a different company, but this unit looked attractive and handled four watches, which was ideal for the apartment.
It comes in a well-packed box, and the physical unit has a lovely wood grain look and a plushy four-rotation spindle setup. Each spindle has a cushion that you wrap your watch onto, then put back in the spindle where it’s held securely. The control panel is on the ledge at the front of the winder, and is easy to operate (although the Chinese-translated English is not great in the manual!). You can set various frequencies of winding, and switch each of the four spindles on and off, and set individual frequencies for each. You can also specify one-direction or both-direction winding. The wall wart power supply works on 100V and 220V without issue, and in 220V (in SE Asia) there’s no heat generated. There’s also no noise from the winder.
I’m really impressed with this winder and will order another for a friend for Christmas. A good buy, solid and beautiful appearance, and in the four months it’s been in place I have had not one single problem. Good value compared to some other winders, too.
Followup: I bought another winder for my friend and she loves it! She likes the look, which is classy, and the functionality and control this winder offers.

Like others, the only complaint is the lowers drawer can not hold a watch with the pillows in the drawer. Not a big problem. I just removed the pillows.
Product came in well packaged, and in excellent condition. Excellent fit and finish. Durability is the only unknown. I will wait until warranty period is over before I give it top marks.

Very quiet, love the fact that I can progam each watch individually (turns per day, rotation, off,on) highly recommend this for anyone that has automatic watches. Only down fall is the “watch boxes” under the unit are not big enough for extra watches if wanting to use the pillows.

* Lots of rotation programs, and good TPD range
* Each motor gets its own program
* Basic materials and design, but good build quality
* Easy-to-read, responsive back-lit control panel
* Pillows hold watches securely, but are squeezable enough for watches sized for small wrists
Cons:
* Always powers up with all motors off, so if there’s a power interruption while you’re on vacation, your watches will be dead when you get back; this is my biggest concern about this winder
* The control panel displays the on-state of the motors in a grid pattern that doesn’t match their physical locations; for example, motors 1 and 2 are physically left and right of each other, but their indicators on the control panel are above and below each other
* No feet, just a flat felt-covered base
* The bottom storage drawers are too small for actual watches; none of my watches would fit in them
* Packaging skimps on the styrofoam padding; my winder came with a corner damaged from rough handling by the delivery company; it’s a back corner, so not worth the hassle of returning it
* The finish is thick and glossy and makes the wood feel like plastic; good high end winders have a finish that is very fine and allows you to feel the grain and pores of the wood; that’s the main the difference between this and my $800 winde
Have had this since beginning of April, so almost 4 months. And wow! This works very well. I’m a deep sleeper so I don’t hear any noise when I sleep. Even generally I think noise level isn’t loud. This does all directions with a variety of Turns per day options. The fact that each space holder is its own rotor is great and it allows you to use it for watches that need to be wound in different directions. Thank you for an awesome product! My automatics run so well. Will definitely be buying another one.
I am pretty impressed with this, it’s quiet and looks classy.
ONE minor issue, the motors are not synced, so they all turn haphazardly from each other. This means that you cannot keep different watches aligned nicely, which is a shame to be honest. But at this price, and with silent quad winders and a touch display, it’s hard to complain.

Io ho impostato il numero minimo di rotazioni giornaliere, perch su un orologio con riserva di carica ho visto che l’impostazione che permette di mantenere costante e non al massimo il livello di carica. Il valore superiore portava alla carica completa (e forse di pi) e questo sicuramente non giova ai meccanismi dell’orologio
Buona la silenziosit, con portellino chiuso. Aperto i motori si sentono leggermente.
Il cassettino inferiore . . . non serve a nulla, troppo basso e poco profondo. Ci ho messo degli orologi di sbieco, ma senza cuscinetti, tanto per riporli riparati dalla polvere. L’uso pi indicato come portagioie per signora, per anelli, spille, catenine, ecc. Potrebbero anche toglierlo, a meno che la parte dietro non serva per alloggiare i motori o le schede di controllo.
Aggiungo anche che il trasformatore viene fornito con tre spine intercambiabili, tra cui ovviamente quella italiana.
Very quie device. Accurate settings. Easy to use. Only one minus-side pockets for other 3 watches are very small, no way to accomodate something alse than a lady (small) watch.

Just received the watch winder today. This is my second CHIYODA watch winder. I bought my first one only a couple of weeks ago, was quite impressed by the quiet motors and the beautiful design. I bought this one for my mother, since she has multiple automatic watches. The motors are as silent as the one I got for myself, and the design is beautiful. The touch screen controls are also very responsive and easy to use. I hope these will last me a long time.
Die Ware wurde ohne Beschdigung geliefert. Eine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung mit Tipps fr die Einstellung der Motoren ist auch beigefgt. Das Gert luft nur mit Strom. Die Einstellungen fr die einzelnen Motoren werden ber ein berhrungsempfindliches Display eingestellt. Ferner gibt es zwei Fcher fr weitere Uhren unterzubringen. Was sehr praktisch ist, ist die ffnung. Sie verhindert, dass die Ihren beim Drehen beschdigt werden. Die Motoren laufen sehr leise. Daher kann man das Gert ruhig im Schlafzimmer aufstellen. Ich habe das Gert jetzt einen Monat in gebrauch und bin sehr zufrieden damit.
