This is a well made parasol. Easy to use although it didn’t fit my base so I’ve had to buy a new one. It seems to be great quality and it’s a good size. I’m very pleased with it.

Ordered this Thursday evening and it arrived early Saturday afternoon – well ahead of the expected 4-5 days delivery. I’m very pleased with it. It’s well made and sturdy. I love the raspberry pink colour.
I also bought the 25kg base from the same company as I don’t have a table that I could support the parasol with and it seems very secure in my windy garden.
This is a great garden parasol.
It is fairly good in size – 2M,but the 2.6M size is always a better option if you have enough room in your garden.
The parasol is easy to use and easy to open and close with the crank handle.
The parasol can be also tilted to one side,which is great when the sunlight comes from a side.
The whole parasol looks made from quality materials and should last.
The parasol can be used both with a table with hole in the center and with parasol base stand.
The parasol has an air vent ,which is used for different things,but it should also protect the parasol from being pulled up and over by the wind.
In theory this is true,but the reality is different.
If winds are expected soon and especially strong winds,make sure you close the parasol and if you have a cover for it – even better.
I have seen more expensive and better quality parasol to fly away and I would keep any parasol open in a windy weather.

The canvas is good quality and cleanable, with a thickness that offers great shade. The unusual spoke arrangement means that it looks as pretty from below as from the outside.
I especially love the crank handle, as it makes it very easy to put up and down, and the tilting mechanism is simple to adjust and very effective at reducing the glare as the sun sets.
The benefits of being lightweight do mean that it is not particularly well suited for heavy winds, but I’m unlikely to be sitting out in those conditions anyway.
Overall very pleased with the quality, and it’s good value for money as well.

I got this garden umbrella for my garden, whether it is to protect me from the sun, or from the rain.
Fit to size packaging.
The material of the umbrella is of high quality. Feels/looks durable & looks like something that as long as is taken care of will absolutely last.
The visual aspect of the product is aesthetically pleasing. With the right table(will need to buy separately) could definitely make a great addition to the garden.
Easy and quick assembly which is always a bonus.
Price is fair. Seems high, but for the quality of material and size is justified.
No issues at with this umbrella from start to finish of using.

This is a nice quality parasol. You need to be aware this is just the parasol, not the base. It feels nice and sturdy, good quality but not so heavy that its difficult to move around. It comes in 2 pieces that are easy to out together and dismantle. The colour is beautiful and makes this a bit different to yiur average parasol. You can also tilt it which is a great feature. Overall, this is very nice. The fabric could be a bit thicker but its a nice parasol. It’s easy to use and adjust and looks nice too.

This umbrella is nice and strong and sturdy and looks awesome in the garden. It’s easy to use and easy to set up and I like that I can angle it and adjust it where needed. It doesn’t come with a base but I had an old one I could use. I like the colour and that it’s got iV protection in the umbrella itself. It’s a really decent size and it’s durable. I like that the crank works smoothly and it’s a great umbrella. I think the value for money is very good and I highly recommend it.
Had a small issue with the item but the service received was excellent and will return to this shop online again. Pretty colour! Sturdy, easy to put up and down with the crank.

This is a well-made, quality parasol that does its job perfectly well. The crank is smooth and the coverage extensive. The only thing that is missing is the base, which to be fair, is stated rather clearly that it is not included.
A wonderful parasol that has the ability to ability to tilt. Great for summer and great for the current heatwave.
This parasol is amazing! It’s a very welcome upgrade to our very tired and old pub umbrella we had in our picnic bench. This comes in a long thin box and once out is ready to use.
The pole is very thick and heavy and strong. It actually only just fitted in our picnic bench hole and is tightly in there now and difficult to remove, but it’ll stay there anyway so that’s not an issue!
The parasol is a gorgeous bright pink colour and my favourite part is the crank handle to put it up and down. My old umbrella you had to do manually and I found it extremely difficult to do but this is a breeze. This also has a very easy adjustable tilt so the whole thing is very versatile and easy to use.

I have knocked a star off because the picture on here shows a ver pronounced tilt. The reality is nothing like it! Tilts very little on mine no matter how much I press the button and fiddle with it (see photo). Has a lever to raise and lower it. Looks great and is sturdy (with a decent base!) and is not a lightweight.

This looks lovely in the garden. We have the red one. Easy to open via the handle, the underneath spokes remind me of an Eastern style umbrella. Very strong it should last a few years
This is a really nice parasol. It’s easy to assemble, operate and looks good. The tilt mechanism is simple and effective. Its a really useful feature and makes a big difference. Perfect portable and smart umbrella for easy movement around garden. Fits nicely over my garden table.

The measurements are exactly as per listing description, it has 2m diameter and is about 2.2m tall.
Perfect for my small size table with 4 seats.
I find it very strong due to its design – many fibreglass ribs.
It can be tiled what is a big plus, it has also a crank mechanism which works well. It is easy and fast to open/close.
It feels very stable on my patio, I’ve put it in my purchased separately metal parasol stand.
Looks nice and decorative, provides a good sun protection and is well priced, so I would happily recommend it.

This parasol is made of a really nice thick fabric. It’s heavy enough that it shouldn’t blow around but light enough to transport and carry. Absolutely love that it has a very easy to use crank handle to put up and take down- no more caught fingers or standing on a chair. I’ve only give it 4 stars as I couldn’t get it to tip at an angle- will try again when I have it in place in the garden. Overall, this parasol is great quality, large enough to cover our small outdoor dining table (4 seater). The interior spokes are pretty and it offers a good level of shade due to the thick quality of the fabric. Only downside is that the instructions don’t give instructions on using the crank or tipping it so had to watch a YouTube video. Would recommend- fair price for a good quality umbrella.
Lovely Christow brand mid grey ‘Shanghai Garden’ 2 metre parasol with a tall metal central pole that splits down into 2 for storage, it has a vented top to stop the wind damaging it. It’s a good size for a table for 4/6 people. I like it tilts too but you can’t adjust the height. Very well made and excellent value for the price for a 2 metre crank opening/closing fabric parasol and looks stylish too. This parasol is a light plastic-feeling mesh with a metal pole and supports. It comes in two parts and clips together easily. Dismantling it is a doddle too, so it’s easy to store. It’s a shame they don’t throw in a cover, you have to keep the clear plastic bag if you want to keep it clean in storage.
There’s a nice crank handle in the middle which has markings to show which way it needs to be wound to go up or down. It uses a nylon string rather than a metal wire in heavier parasols, and it’s perfectly adequate for the task. Getting it raised is no issue at all.
When the parasol is fully raised you can see the jointed bracket in the top part of the pole. A simple button allows you to sets the top of the parasol at any angle and lock into place. It’s easy to use and works well. You just have to straighten it to lower it again.
The material is almost opaque, but does let a little light through. That’s fine as it keeps things lighter under the parasol. It’s partially waterproof – not 100% but pretty good. At least it won’t be damaged.
An excellent parasol that’s easy to put in a table, being so light. The angled part allows you to tilt it to cover low evening sun. It’s around 6ft high so most people should be able to walk underneath it without much issue.
A most attractive looking parasol from Christow, the Shanghai resembles a traditional Chinese ribbed paper parasol. But this version is much more robust of course and here the ribs are made from fibreglass. The pole – in 2 easy to fit together sections – is made from steel as opposed to aluminium. Though this adds somewhat to the carrying weight, it’s worth it as the parasol is overall made considerably more stable.
The 2 metre canopy is made from thick polyester with a UV 30+ rating and an air vent allows air to circulate – which again increases stability. We have a grey parasol that’s larger and a different make and design and we find that when there’s a breeze it’s always toppling over whch can be a bit alarming when you see a large expanse of cloth – not to say metal pole – heading your way as you’re sitting enjoying that rare glimpse of sunshine.
This Christow Shanghai parasol is superior in terms of practicality. Just like our old parasol it has a crank handle to raise and lower the canopy and a tilt mechanism to block out the sun as it moves through the day. It can be used with a table or slotted into a base. The base we had previously works but note that no base is included with the Shanghai and nor is a parasol cover so I’ll need to get one of those. But I can’t recommend this parasol too highly. With wide functionality, it’s excellent quality, looks stylish – and is reasonably priced too.
This parasol is very strong and really well made. Excellent replacement to my old one. So easy to open it and close it. Looks absolutely beautiful in my garden. Cant fault it in any way.
