    So far so good.
Had new kitchen fitted in January and it’s great!
Even the fitter loved it as hadn’t seen that design before.
    Looks great,
    Pretty easy to clean,
    Turns on easily,
    Looks very expensive

This Comfee’ Black Glass Gas Hob is impressively expensive-looking when assembled with a virtually all-black livery, just the under-edge of the gas burners and the control knobs are silver with everything else in a gloss black finish. The Comfee’ branding on the top-right corner is much more subtle in reality than it appears in the photos above (where it looks tacky) and it’s actually a dark silver-grey not pure white.

The low profile design with isolated pan supports, rather than an all-over grille, means your saucepans seem to be perched quite high above the glass baseplate and they do look and feel a bit precarious. The pan supports have thin vertical fins which allow all of the flame to reach your pan but the fins are also long enough to accommodate a decent range of pan sizes, although wide pans on the smaller supports isn’t a great idea. There are two sizes of supports, three the same and one larger, but the burners beneath are in three sizes with the largest and smallest burners at the front of the hob. At first I though I’d prefer the bigger burner at the back, so you never have to lean over a big pot of soup, but it turns out to be really handy for using frypans and woks.

Installation seems fairly standard and you’ll need a nearby mains power socket for the ignition system as well as the gas outlet. The hob can run with either Natural Gas or LPG and there’s an alternative LPG coupler for the supply hose supplied in the box. The control taps are also adjustable (expert installer recommended) to ensure you get the proper range of flame intensity and it doesn’t go out altogether when set to the minimum. The control knobs themselves feel very solid and have a nice smooth action. The overall quality seems solid enough and the glass baseplate looks great but will need regular cleaning to keep it that way, any smear or spill will show on such a pristine surface. In the end there’s nothing fancy about it but they’ve kept the design really simple and it looks all the better for it.

I recently ordered the Black Glass Gas Hob with 4 Burners and I must say, overall I am quite satisfied with my purchase. The hob looks sleek and modern with its black glass finish, and the 4 burners provide ample space for cooking multiple dishes at once.
The hob also heats up quickly and efficiently, which is a plus for anyone who values their time in the kitchen. However, I do have one minor issue with the product that prevents me from giving it a full 5-star rating.

I noticed that the size of the rings on the hob is not quite as expected and eventually showed in the pictures. The largest ring is not quite as large as I would have expected, which can be a bit of a hindrance when trying to cook larger dishes. It would have been nice to have a larger ring for those occasions when I need to cook a big pot of soup or stew.

That being said, the hob still functions very well and the size of the rings is a minor issue that can be worked around. Overall, I would give the Black Glass Gas Hob a solid 4 stars out of 5. It’s a great value for the price and looks great in my kitchen.

Really happy with this. Looks brilliant, easy to keep clean. The racks fit just over the gas rings they are hold in place really well. Being the size they are really easy to clean, not sure if they are dishwasher safe, as I just drop them into the sink and wash them over. Yes they are that easy to clean.
Unfortunately I can not get a photo to upload.
We got a gas engineer to fit it for us.

A good cook like me knows that a good fire under the pan is essential for food to be made within time and with the desired quality.

It was enough to open the box to get in love with the beauty and quality of this COMFEE’ GH403GL-60 Black Glass Gas Hob, 4 Burner Gas Hob Cooktops, was made of a material.
The space between the tops are great allowing it to be possible to place large pans side by side.
The fire produced is also very good, if there is something missing to cook good food, I am sure it will not be the Hob.

This comfee glass hob arrived well packaged and in good condition. It is a very modern looking hob with a black glass base. we had ours fitted by a gas safe engineer and it looks really good in the kitchen. I would say it’s a very basic sort of hob, it doesn’t feel a+ quality, and the quality is quite basic. Nonetheless it is a fantastic price for what it is and it certainly does the job.

This black glass hob has a tempered glass top which gives it a modern look and also makes it easy to clean as is it’s easy to wipe down with a damp cloth. It has a mirror finish when it’s clean as you can see the reflection of things in your kitchen within the surface. Tempered glass is also strong so should stand up to having a few knocks and scrapes. The cleaning is made easier by the removeable pan supports, which can be lifted off and moved out of the way when cleaning. The ceramic discs can also be removed to ease the cleaning process.

The gas controls are on the right-hand side and the turn knobs are made from plastic. You have to press them down before you turn them to get the gas flowing, and this is a safety feature as children are less likely to push down on them if they get a bit curious. The company logo is in the upper right of the surface, and this means that you can’t have the hob in any other orientation, as the text would be upside down. Something to consider if you were planning on having the controls on the left.

The burners can go quite high and don’t have any issue quickly heating food up to temperature. The hob does have to plugged into an electric plug socket so it can ignite the gas when you first turn a hob on. You can just use matches to get the gas lit if you don’t have an electrical source nearby. I didn’t have a lot do with the installation, as a gas engineer installed it, but all he did was use our old gas pipe to our old oven, sealed the threads and screwed it on.

I really like the look it adds to my kitchen as it looks modern in black and with its glossy surface. I just need to update the rest of the kitchen now to match the elegance of this hob but the flames are about the same power as my old cooker and I’m more than happy with its performance

I was looking for a new gas hob to buy .
I am happy with my new gas stove.
I love that it is really easy to clean, that the surface is non-stick and the beautiful black color.
    It’s really easy to use.
This one was just what I needed at a good price!

    Good Gas Hob

This is a standard black gas hob with four burners that will need to be fitted by a Gas safe engineer. Once fitted, it fits into the standard 60cm gaps
The black tempered glass gives it a modern and sleek look and it is easy to wipe clean.
There are four varied burning zones from less powerful to more powerful so that you can choose your favourite burner!
Using electricity, the ignition works quickly and easily and there are non-slip dials and easy-to-clean pan supports to ensure straightforward cooking.

This is a fairly basic gas hob. It has 4 burners and is of standard construction. The knobs and fittings are ok, but not very substantial. I haven’t fitted this yet as awaiting a gas engineer, but all the hoses and connections look sound to me.

In terms of looks, it does very well. It has a very stylish black glass finish that looks contemporary and modern. Importantly it is also very easy to wipe down and keep clean, so a big positive there.

Overall, this is a standard gas burner hob unit, that looks good and should be simple to maintain.

I really like the look of this hob. The smooth and sleek main body sits nicely under the rings and the combination is pretty damn pleasing! The whole thing actually looks pretty slick and decent.

Controls are easy to understand and use.

I had it installed by a professional and it went straight in with no issues.

Overall I think it’s actually a pretty decent hob. Can’t comment how long it’ll last but you never this this with any item!

I thought this would look nice in my kitchen to replace my old hob which is 20 odd years old.
It fitted more or less straight in to the hole left by my old hob, being a standard size, and once the gas had been connected, and the electric cable plugged in, it was all systems go.
The gas rings are self-igniting by pushing down each knob and turning to “start” position. This sets off a constant stream of sparks at each individual ring. I was initially worried by what I read in the instructions, stating that the knob has to be held down for 15 seconds to keep the gas supply on to the ring – this seemed an awfully long time to me, but it turned out that a couple of seconds held down and the gas stays on just fine.
All the rings work fine now and everything is looking good. The hob itself is quite handsome with its easy clean glass surface. The knobs have a sealing rubber bellow around each one to keep any spilt liquids out of the works, and each ring has a sort of raised ring around it to help contain spills so it is fairly easy to clean.
The shiny black surface does show up any marks so it does need a wipe down now and then.
    Conclusion
I quite like this on the whole, it looks pretty smart, but a couple of quibbles too, probably just me but I feel I should mention them anyway.
    1. It is designed for a very deep worktop thickness, so can intrude slightly on anything underneath if you only have a 40mm worktop like me.
    2. It does stand slightly proud of the worktop by approx 10mm, it could probably be let into the worktop to make it flush if you were really handy with a router and possessed more patience than me!) true it does have a rubber sealing strip around it under the glass to stop ingress of any spills under the worktop, but I still feel it would have been nice not to have it quite so prominent.
    3. The pan supports above the burners seem to be much higher above the flame than on my old hob, this is probably manufacturers being more efficient these days about flames not going around the edge of pans, and me being fussy, but it does seem a trifle too high to me – this is purely my opinion though.

    Looks very modern and shiny!

I’m totally happy with this hod.
It’s a black glass which easy to clean.
Have 4 cooking zones and 4 gas burners.
Easy to put it on and use it.

Also the big plus for it it’s very easy to clean it.
I’m very happy to have it.
And surely can recommend it to all.

I really like the flat glass hob, this makes cleaning much simpler.
The actual hob bits stand on their own and are higher, so you do need to make sure you rest the pans directly on the supports or you could have a spillage, but my old hob was also like this so I am used to it.
the instillation was straight forward as any other brand (according to our GaseSafe engineer), the controls and instructions are good and simple to use.
Overall we are very happy with this Hob.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersYou get what you pay for with this gas hob I suggest spending a little more and getting one from a reputable brand this looks good but is only really good for very light use flame is not very strong just feels cheap overall which it is but if you need a hob to use on a daily basis then look this is not for you.

4 burner gas hob plate by the Comfee manufacturer. Having been lucky enough to both buy and test a lot of products form this manufacturer, I was excited for the arrival of this product. It came very well packaged in a hard box and plenty of foam padding. All the connectors needed are attached and very straight forward to swap over. I could have done it myself but with my house being in warranty I decided to pay a professional to do it. Looks very smart finished in black and then has the standard push down and twist to turn on and off. Nice mix of hob sizes for all your pots and pans too! Really good product and a very reasonable price.

Arrived well packed with no damage.

This is a fairly standard Gas hob, you have the four burners one large and three the same size, this are controls via 4 rotate knobs.

The design is simple which I like, has a minimal look, no fancy lights and features.

Quality is good, I’ve had a couple of COMFEE products and they have been very good, no issues with any.

    Standard size 600mm 510mm 110mm.

Obviously this needs fitting by a gas safe engineer, not suitable for doing it yourself

A nice well made hob which does the job perfectly.

Obviously had this hob installed by a gas engineer, but there didn’t seem to be any problems. Looks very stylish along with the angled cooker hood.
