I use this primarily for work calls, mainly video calls, but also phone calls. I like that I can have it connected to my computer by USB and also paired with my phone over Bluetooth.
Unlike some other devices sporting a single omni directional microphone and claiming 360 degrees, this has six microphones and then light up when activated so I’m fairly sure it would work well on a medium size table with several people around.
Sound quality from the speaker is good and the recorded sound is clear and at a good volume even from about 2ft away which is the best place on my desk for it.
It’s rechargeable but I haven’t used it away from my desk so I can’t comment on battery life.
Great device, brilliant price. Battery lasts for 24 hours so it can be used in work mode for circa 5 days. Also has a decent capacity battery and can be used for charging. Overall very good, but experience some quality issues with microphone quality over Bluetooth when used with MacBook Pro and Mac Studio.
Have not use it yet hence the 4*. Looks good and the service was good

For the most part this works great, I’ve used it with MS Teams on my laptop and Zoom, FB Messenger and regular old calls on my phone. It can even connect to my laptop and my phone simultaneously. Sound quality is good for calls but not quite rounded enough for me for music – but I only got it for calls anyway. The only problems I found with it are that it doesn’t seem to like 2 people talking from different angles and different distances on FB Messenger calls. My wife and I tried to use it for talking to family and the first time it struggled picking her voice up but would pick my voice up ok. I had updated the firmware already and set the speaker to ‘conference mode’. We’re both normally softly spoken but I was directly in front of it about a metre away and she was to the side of it about 1.5 metres away. Since then I have tried more experimentation and it seems to work best when it’s on a hard surface, you’re close to it, roughly equidistant and you make an effort to speak clearly, but she still struggles with it and doesn’t like it overall. The only other minor issue I found was the mute button doesn’t sync up with MS Teams so there is the opportunity to double-mute yourself, but I only tend to use one anyway.
Other than those things I think it is good overall and makes a useful addition to my office bag.
Bought this a replacement for a an old Samsung speaker which I used for WFH.
The speak was easy to set up with two mobile and my laptop. Build quality is excellent abd it looks good too. The sound quality from my end is superb with great volume. Checked with others and they all confirm the sound at the other end is much brighter and clearer. The controls are easy to use. Highly recommended

A gathering of people with mixed hearing abilities managed to participate in a meeting successfully. A little fiddly to set up – but once done very good.
Not completely obvious how to make it work – a little more guidance would be useful.
It is used regularly for semi weekly zoom meetings. Works great with laptop or android device. With laptop can be used as a microphone only (if you want to use different speakers) or as both: mic and speaker. Sound from the speaker is loud and clear and by no means tiny. But where it really shines is how it picks up your voice. Placed somewhere on the table will pick up your voice without any troubles. No need to lean over toward the speaker. Clarity of sound confirmed by other users.
I love this device. I have it connected to my work phone and use it for calls & MS team’s meeting. Soooo much better than hands free through the phone. Audio is miles better, and louder., and muting yourself much easier. Have only used alone but can see how this would work excellently if multi-user.
My parents are able to use this, so it’s a 5/5 for ease of use for me.
I’m very happy with the sound quality and I love the positional LED’s.
I wish the pouch has enough space for the usb cable, but it’s barely annoying with the super long battery life.

For the price it is a good conference speaker. I have it attached to my laptop dock via the USB cable. For Teams meetings (which most of mine are) it works really well. You will need the latest firmware update (via the mobile app) to get the Teams integration. Sadly there is no integration with Zoom which is really disappointing. The only other issue I have found is that the speaker is paired to my mobile via Bluetooth but also connected to my laptop via USB at the same time. If the USB is connected the speaker cannot seem to handle two devices and switch between the two. If I get a call on my mobile, or try to listen to music there is no sound until I disconnect the USB lead from the speaker. I have now unpaired the speaker from my phone. I am hoping that maybe both these issues will be fixed by a future firmware update, at which time I would happily give 5 stars.
I hated using an earpiece for calls so thought I’d try this; I’m never going back to the earpiece as this is ideal.
Really great speaker and no need to wear headphones for work anymore. Download the update so it works seamlessly with teams etc.

I’ve spent the last 18 months faffing around with different mic and speaker combos to try to nail working from home on Teams all day. Using my laptop’s built in speaker and mic is nowhere near good enough, but most external solutions just end up being too much hassle in terms of getting a seamless solution that doesn’t need fiddling with and doesn’t get the dreaded feedback on Teams. Straight away on plugging it in, this was the ideal solution. I use the USB-C connection rather than Bluetooth and it’s just bombproof. No connection issues, slick integration with Teams (including red light when the mic is muted) and great sound quality (mic and speaker). Nice value for money and a pain free solution – would highly recommend.
My brother bought this for me for my online lessons. This is a perfect speaker. I normally use it with Bluetooth and the quality of the sound is great . The charge lasts for a long time. I’m very happy to have this speaker. I do recommend it for anyone who teaches online .
For such a small device the sound quality is excellent, deep, rich and clear. Works simply with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx and Zoom. Device was detected quickly when plugged into Windows 10, Windows 11 beta and Mac OS.
Would recommend to anyone working from home as the noise cancellation is excellent. Cancels out all the background noise and presents a clear noise free audio to other participants on Video calls.

The buttons work with most conferencing tools apart from zoom. Hopefully An update will come soon but this is minor irritation for all the benefits it provides.
My colleagues complained of the poor sound quality from my work laptop. I came across as if I had a very pronounced lisp. This conf speaker solved that problem. I only use it when sitting at my desk so haven’t had any issue with distance distortion. It’s plug and play, and I like the overall design.
Bluetooth worked immediately when I tried to play music from my iPhone – I think you can’t have it both connected as a speaker via USB and simultaneously connect via bluetooth with another device.
In any case, the sound quality when playing music was very unpleasant, dry, no depth at all (a 4 year old Anker SoundCore mini speaker still manages to sound heaps better).
As a conf speaker, can’t fault it. Recommended.
I like the large battery which can be used as a power bank for charging whatever you like, I like the soft protective case, I like that it seems to be able to pick up even the quietest of speaker & the fact that you can connect by Bluetooth or by cable, I’ve had it for over 6 months & I haven’t found anything I don’t like yet. I am a member of a large group of likeminded individuals worldwide & at the start of the first lockdown all live meetings closed & we started meetings on Zoom & then when we were able to reopen we started doing hybrid meetings, which is a live meeting & a Zoom meeting in one & this type of speaker is excellent for these meetings, it’s also great for listening to music from your phone.
Simple to connect via Bluetooth to the laptop. The sound and mic are great. Much better than wearing a headset for hours at a time.
Had been considering one of these for the home office and have been really impressed with how this performs. Works just as well with the PC or Mobile, seamlessly connecting between the two. Excellent voice audio quality, and the microphone performance is much better than the built in ones on my laptop.
The only negative is that it’s not great for music, but not designed to be I guess. Handy extra feature is that you can use the battery to charge your mobile if needs be.
Excellent performance with both teams and zoom. Sound is clear and rich; people hear me well. Note: works better with my laptop using usb instead of Bluetooth, but that’s not a problem for me. Bluetooth works well on iPad.
Great for those working from home. My speaker and microphone on my laptop was very temperamental and this has fixed all issues! It’s great! I can mute it and it shows on my teams meeting that I’m muted!

This is fine for the purpose and the speaker is more powerful than I expected.
However my pc seems to get some interface from the blue tooth receiver so I am using it hard wired for now.
Still a worth while purcahse i got it at 64.99 but i see anker just up its price by 20 quid not sure why.

They said we want you there in person, I said can’t I zoom in? They said hmm no. I said ok what about if you do it properly and buy a speaker phone and put me on a plasma screen properly. I am in the call now and it sounds to me on the zoom end, fantastic. I hear everyone in the room and they hear me. Perfect and what I would expect from Anker. I might get myself one!
Only criticism the cable should have been attached and not loose which makes it too easy to lose but everything els about it is fine

Had been using a portable speaker for conference calls but with limited success. This is a huge upgrade and works very well as a speaker/mic connected to the laptop for teams / zoom calls
Had it for less than a week and found it a very good replacement for my damaged microphone. I am hoping this will address some of the “I can’t hear you well” replies on zoom-style meetings!!

As a speakerphone this is a good product with Windows. It is plug n play so simply works as expected with Teams, Skype, Zoom etc. In Linux (Ubuntu 18/20) there is an inherent issue with speaker/microphone combinations and bluetooth. Its to do with the profile selected when the device pairs – it defaults to a high fidelity speaker, which is fine. But the microphone is disabled (does not appear as an input choice in the Sound selector app). There are some ways to try to force the profile to a low-resolution codec but they are not for regular users. I couldn’t make it work purely with bluetooth. Plugging in the USB cable worked fine with speaker/mic. Their support group indicated they had not done testing with Linux.

Great compact device to give microphone and sound in a room. Easy to connect either via Bluetooth or USB. Good sound quality and microphones seem to do a good job eliminations background noise and echo in a big room. Fantastic to get that bloody headset off!!
I bought this as a replacement for a Jabra 500 bluetooth that finally died because the battery failed, not only is this 1/3 of the price of a replacement Jabra, its better quality, the sound quality and noise cancelling is really excellent, the microphone pickup is also really really good from across the room you can be easilly heard. the output sound quality is a little light, not enough bass. The bluetooth setup is really simple as is the USB setup (literally just plug it in) its is an all round excellent build quality also, I really cant fault it, and for the price is an absolute bargain.
Unfortunately I had to return the speaker as the microphone range was too short. People on the other side of the call couldn’t hear me so well unless I sat close to the speaker. It’s a shame because the speaker looks really cool and is very easy to use. The speaker has an excellent design, and is very ergonomic. The battery life was excellent and it was easy to connect.
Update: Anker have later contacted me (completely out of their own initiative) and offered to replace my speaker or to help out with any technical difficulties I was experiencing. When I told them I had already returned my original speaker to Amazon they sent me a complimentary Bluetooth Audio Speaker for listening to music! I’ve never come across such an amazing customer service before. I would definitely buy Anker products in the future having a full confidence in their customer support.

The inbuilt microphone on my pc was useless for more than one person. The Anker conference speaker means that two of us can now be heard clearly in Zoom meetings.

Bought this as working from home permanently at present. Tried a couple of speakers that had a mic, but outward sound quality was not great. This is very different. Top notch sound, clear inward sound quality. Best feature…you can set the speaker to not auto shutdown after a short period of time without a call.
Remember, this is not a full blown speaker for music, it will do it, but do not expect thumping bass etc. Good for talk radio, but essentially for calls. By the way the battery is excellent, unless you are a very heavy call user, it will go days without the need to charge.
Great product. I was having trouble on Teams meetings with the sound, and this worked perfectly. Online meetings are awkward enough without having to struggle to hear people. All fixed now!

Free of wired headphones now and large red mute light is useful when dropping out of calls to answer the door for the latest Prime delivery! Would be nice if the mute button interacted with the Teams mute button though
Compared to Jabra 510 unit, works as well, only downside is that that microphones appear to pick less gain, even at full volume. Have been told that I sound distant compared to an iPhone.
Great quality and value for money. Very clear voice and microphones do an excellent job capturing the various voices in the room. Not the best speaker if you’re looking for a speaker, nevertheless it does what its built for at a very decent level. Would recommend
This is a very good board room Mic/speaker, works as well as very much more expensive options.
Although quality is good, but can’t receive or hang up the call. You need to go to laptop to hangup or receive.
This works very well to hold a meeting with 15 socially-distanced participants. The online attendees report that they can hear the speakers very clearly and the people in the room can clearly hear those online. Battery life seems to be exceptionally good, used it for 6 hours and still seems to have over 90% battery.
Works really well, pairs easily and the call quality is perfect for Zoom, WhatsApp calls, phonecalls.

Worked great for having remote users dial in via discord. Speaker is nice and loud. The led indicating the direction it’s picking up sound from is useful.
Being able to charge the phone from the device is nice for having fewer devices/wires out.
Build quality seems good. Neoprene case is a good fit.
