This is a really soft and comfortable mat that you won’t mind spending an hour or two on! It is thin enough to make it easy to roll and store and yet feels like it could be twice the thickness. Absolutely worth the price for anyone who has a use for one.

Core Balance Rubber Yoga Mat with Asana Alignment Lines Extra Wide Non Slip with Travel Strap is currently available in 4 colour options: teal, blue, grey and purple, and all are at the price of 27.99 (with an extra 20% off voucher) including next day quick delivery and 30 days returns if anything goes wrong with the item. I got the teal option.
I like that this matt is really lightweight when I will carry it around I won’t even feel it.
It is very soft, its cushioning is good and it has a velvety like feel. It has some sort of texture/pattern to it. It almost feels ‘spongy’ compared to the very thin mats.
I would say the grip is good and is actually slightly better when your hands are sweaty (unlike the old style of “sticky’ mats which made you slide off).
The alignment lines are very handy and the markings in the centre of the mat will help with positioning especially for the beginners.
It comes with a strap that you will find in the middle of the rolled-up mat.
Overall I think it’s a really nice mat at a reasonable price, so I highly recommend this choice.

    Lovely colour and great quality

Comfortable and easy to clean! Comes with a Velcro strap to keep it rolled up and to carry easily. It isn’t too thin so has a bit of spring to it, which I like! There is markings on the mat that blend as part of the design, help you position yourself correct on the mat when stretching. I would recommend for the high quality!

Comfy, durable & easy to clea

This yoga mat is the best I’ve tried. It is larger than I expected and the markings are very useful for various positions I practice. It is also very non-slip, so this is important if you want to retain your balance.

    Highly recommended.

I’ve been getting into yoga more recently and wanted a longer, grippier yoga mat to make things easier for me as I get very sweaty hands. I love the colour of this, the fact it comes with a strap and it really is grippier than other high-end mats I’ve used.

    Pros:
    * Non slip.. And it is. It’s far less slippy than other brands I’ve used, including mottled surfaces
    * Guidance lines for hand and foot positions for use in yoga and pilates
    * Lovely material, very thin and eco friendly too
    * Gorgeous colour (I got the real)

    Cons:
    * Not so good if you get moisture on the mat as it will leave a mark on the surface until it dries, even if you try to wipe it

The mat came well-presented and can be tightly rolled up and secured with the velcro strap included, so you can compactly store it and also have it on your shoulder to go to your local class.

I’m 5’3″ and my partner is 6ft tall and the width and length of this mat works well for us both. The guidance lines I wasn’t sure I’d use much, but actually they’re really useful for common yoga poses for keeping your feet at appropriate angles and maintaining your form.

I wasn’t sure how I’d get on with the material as it’s not textured on top like my other mat, but it’s actually insanely grippy even though it’s smooth. I don’t slip during downward dogs and that’s great for me. It’s all made of rubber (which is surprisingly heavy when rolled up) which is supposedly eco-friendly too, and how it’s not slidey I’m unsure but for me personally it’s been great. It also doesn’t shift on a laminate floor either (the bottom is textured).

The only odd thing about it is if you sweat or get it wet at all, it stains the surface for a short time until it dries out, this is only problematic if you drench it and can’t wipe it clean, but apparently it washes very easily with soap and water so it’s not a huge deal, just a bit odd.

Overall, I really like it. Aesthetically it’s really pretty, good quality, it functions well and is brilliant for my progressing yoga practice with the grippiness. The lines have been really helpful for me too so I make sure my feet are in the right places in warrior poses too.

Definifely my go-to mat now. And I’m so glad it comes with a strap too, that you can incorporate into stretches and also use to carry it and store it too. Great item.

Stops me sliding during downward dogs!

This yoga Matt is made of such high quality materials and is very modern. It’s the perfect thickness and is not slip which is always a good thing. Great value for money and a great buy for all yoga lovers.

This is a high quality yoga (and similar) mat compared to anything else I’ve seen. It is quite thin really but that is not reflected in the weight. The material – rubber – makes for a very non slip surface which is very good indeed. It is a very well sized mat to – plenty of room for the tallest people here. Having the Asana lines will be very useful to some too. The colour range available should have something for everyone. The strap is quite basic I guess and maybe a cover would have been nice but you get a lot for your money here.

You might think all yoga mats are the same. After all, how different can they be?
Well, this one from Core Balance has the answer. It’s miles better than any other mat I’ve ever used, for three reasons:
    1. Extremely strong non-slip underside. I’ve had “non-slip” mats before, but they are not non-slip in the same way as this one.
    2. Rubberised top also with great non-slip properties. Unlike the foam or tyre-tread style top on many mats, this one is rubberised, and it’s fantastic for keeping feet and hands in place.
    3. Markings on the mat to help align your body. It’s easy to slip out of alignment during a yoga session, but the markings on this mat help you keep track of where everything is – or should – be.
The mat comes with a carry strap, rather than a bag. The loops at either end use Velcro, rather than being elasticated, and do the job very well.

This mat is great. Nice and grippy. I got it for Pilates. It’s a good thickness and it allows a good grounding but thick enough to offer a good cushioning.
The surface has very good grip, I’ve swapped from a cork mat and find this surface preferable.
I’ve knocked a star off purely for the supplied carry strap. It’s cheap and flimsy.
It’s a good size, the width is great.

    Ideal for pilates

I was impressed with this mat when it arrived but my wife knows more about them than me so I asked her for her review and this is what she said. “I love this mat (and I’ve used many during my 21 years as a yoga teacher). It is definitely the most non slip mat I’ve ever used even with sweaty palms! It is a good thickness without being too spongy and it doesn’t move around even if you’re using it on top of carpet. It’s a good length too which is useful if you’re tall. The only thing I don’t like is the smell which is wearing off the more I use it. I have even recommended it to some of my students”.

beautiful mat with amazing detail. It is quite thick and heavy which is great as it does not slip and move around when i am exercising on it. It has some beautiful patterns on it to which have been a talking point for my yoga class.

At first sight we thought this wouldn’t be as good as the one my wife has used for some time being substantially thinner material but it proved to be excellent. Even with kneeling exercises, there was no sense of pressure on the parts of the body bearing the weight.

It can be a bit too slippy if you like to wear socks but as most do yoga barefoot, this really isn’t an issue. There’s no bag for it but it does include a strap that does the job. It folds up easily to a smallish diameter.

It’s a lovely yoga matt. I needed a really good one and my yoga instructor recommended this to me. So stable and long. The weight is perfect and the rubber of the Matt is so balanced. Everyone loved it in my yoga class. Would highly highly recommend it for a perfect yoga

    Absolutely an amazing yoga Ma

It has good slip resistance and is wider and longer.
Open this yoga mat and lay it on the ground, you can get a flat, smooth surface, non-slip yoga mat. The bottom has good slip resistance and does not slide during movement.
Asana alignment lines Symmetry and balance, precise body position guidance, make movements more standard.

    Comfortable to use

I found this a very good mat. As it is the most expensive yoga mat I’ve used I had quite high expectations. I didn’t expect it to be very supportive or comfortable but it was, though I was using it on a carpet. I was unsure about the rubber as I’ve always used foam mats, but although there was some smell and initially I thought it looked a little like plasticine, it is incredibly grippy and secure.
The only time it rucked up was when I stood up and readjusted my position, but once straightened out again it stayed in place.
I liked the markings very much, it helped me line up my hands in cat-cow, and my feet in lunges. It’s also longer than previous mats I’ve used which I like.
The colours are great, there is useful carrying strap, and the manufacturer offers a 28 day full refund if you are not satisfied.
I would imagine it’s a lot more durable than foam type mats. It’s certainly colder to the touch which may be nice in hot weather!
My only reservation is the heavy weight, this is a great mat if you are driving to your class or using at home, but I wouldn’t want to carry it for long.

Made of natural rubber which is biodegradable and produced from a sustainable source the mat lies flat on the floor without creasing, curling up or bunching up when in use. It is a good width and length allowing for a lot of different types of exercise and different sizes of people. It feels warm in use and slightly cushioned giving support and absorbency. It gives good grip and it is easy to clean. It has a carrying strap which also allows it to be rolled and stored between uses. A product that won’t tear or break down in use meaning it will last for many years.

This is a beautifully crafted yoga mat. Made from natural rubber it is both non-slip and absorbent, giving the user confidence to maintain the pose.
In use is stays reassuringly flat, with no curled-up edges. The surface is marked with Asana alignment marks that help students of yoga of all abilities to correctly position and align the body for maximum benefit with minimum risk of injury.
The mat comes with a robust carry strap. However, at 2.7Kg my wife finds it uncomfortably heavy. She says she will certainly be using it at home, but won’t be taking it to her classes.

A gorgeous yoga mat with amazing grip! I’ve loved testing this out at home. My only gripe is it easily shows dirt so would reorder in a darker colour.

    Great grip

    Good quality and great value.

Nice to use for flows and I like the colour.

I also like the lines as I sue them for reference points, though not the intended purpose of ‘Asana’, just within mobility flows.

This is a lovey long mat and very well made but you do seem to be paying a premium for a few lines and it’s not very thick. It’s more protective than comfortable so it depends whether you want to use it to stand on or lie on. Gorgeous colour and arrived very well packaged with a hand strap. It’s weighty due to the length.

    Very long but thin.

This is a fairly heavy mat due to its size mainly rather than its thickness. Cushioning support is towards the lower end of the scale, albeit sufficient for most users. I loved the teal colour, which is vibrant and makes exercising slightly more enjoyable. Alignment lines may be useful to help get your moves right and the mat proved to be non-slip on a flagstone floor. I also like the fact the mat is wrapped in tissue rather than plastic inside its box, which is so much more aesthetically pleasing.

I like the mat although noticed it was on the thinner side whilst using on a hard stone floor.

I am very pleased with the great quality of this Core Balance Yoga Mat.

The mat is very easy to roll out and does stay nice and flat providing it is placed on a flat surface. My partner uses it on either a tiled floor or carpeted floor and finds it equally comfortable to use on both surfaces.

It comprises of two layers a black Natural rubber with a PU top coating which is available in a range of attractive colours with laser-etched Asana Alignment Lines which are a very useful visual aid for correct body alignment which is beneficial especially in helping to prevent injury.

The mat can also be used for Pilates exercises or any other floor exercise where a good, non slip surface is beneficial to the user.

I ordered the Teal colour variant which is a really pleasant colour. It came supplied with a Velcro strap for when the mat is rolled up and in this state only requires a small amount of space for storage.

Overall this is an excellent quality Yoga mat made from good quality materials.

A Very good quality Yoga ma

This mat is purple and has clear alignment lines which are great for position in yoga, pilates or other exercises. To cal it a yoga mat is to limit it as I used it for a HIIT session last night and it was great.I could be bit thicker but does give some protection. There was very little slipping. Rolls easily and comes with travel strap for easy transpo
