Lovely colour, easy to use and set up other than that have had no issues using them
Once orders delivery was quick, outer casing with strong found really easy to use straight away and really easy to calibrate calibration weight that came with it was absolutely spot-o
It’s important that it is accurate and sturdy. I also like the choice of colours.
I like that it includes the calibration weight as it gives you confidence that it is accurate. And the weight did measure 50g. The display is very bright and clear unlike many weighing machines. The lid is solid protecting it as it is a delicate machine with delicate parts. It’s about the size of a 6″ screen smartphone but twice as thick.
Mine is a 200g max. I made a mistake not buying the 500g version because I always use a container to weigh ingredients so I have to find light weight containers.
If you leave the object on the machine the weight measurement will change downwards. I don’t leave anything on there for more than a couple of seconds.
Just needed something for the kitchen that actually shows grams as my other pair did not. Works fine and is small and easy to store out of the way. Feels sturdy and well built. Like a chunky smartphone it fits in your pocket.
Great, very accurate weighing and picks up even a hai
No dislikes, all aspects of the scales as good as the supplier stated
They’re a very sturdy set of scales and seem to have been made with ‘quality’ in mind
Sturdy, accurate, large weight capacity and I like the weight to soo if they are still accurate
Great we set of scales comes with its own weight for calibration.
Definitely they don’t disappoint.
I use my product for baking and it’s proven very easy and straightforward forward to use.
I got the mint and purple one and they work great and look adorable, my favourite colours and very handy with the calibration weigh
Great precision scale – comes with calibration weight and good build quality.
Great ,good looking and functional, the close catch could be better but overall fantastic
One of the best I have bought and price speaks for its self
Good scales this is the second one I bought as first one got broke (my fault )
Davvero una gran bilancia. Precisa non sbaglia un grammo, a distanza metto il campione di 50 grammi e come peso mi viene fuori 50 grammi precisi!
Simple easy to use. I think ax with all of these type of scales it is best to calibrate them properly using certified weights, once this is done the readings are accurate to a very precise level
Good product, comes with a weight. The scale was about 0.5g off when testing the weight, but other than that it an ok product.
Great scales, REALLY accurate!
Bit of a flimsy lid though but doesn’t affect the product working at all, does jiggle a bit loose on its hinges though.
If lid was more stable would have given 5 stars
Basic 2 decimal place scale with a handy recalibration weight. Nice and sturdy casing. Product is yet to do me wrong when weighing oregano.
Please refer to the video, you know ct and gn, but which one is oz, which one is g ? I kind of find the rule to find unit g, but I don’t think that should the case.
The only thing wrong with this is the color. But I guess that’s just personal preference.
It really is a nice little device. Well built with a good sturdy case. Contains a 50g calibration weight. I had to calibrate once when I first used it but since then it’s been dead on.
I bought it initially to check the weight and sg of pm coins to check they’re authentic. But now I also use it to measure out tiny amounts of medication for aquarium fish. These treatments are supplied concentrated for treating large tanks but you need to do a bit of math and use an accurate scale to measure out tiny portions for a small treatment tank.
Having said that, I’ve only had it a month. Time will tell. But so far. More than happy.
Does what is intended to do. Fast shipping and very easy to calibrate
Perfect little scales to fit in my drawer for measure the minute amount of yeast, oil and salt. Working well so far.
Bought this for more accurate measurement when home brewing and it is exactly what I needed. Small, compact, sturdy and easy to calibrate.
What I really like about this scale is that you get the little weight with it to calibrate it yourself. Nice extra.
Great product, accurate, easy to use, sturdy and comes with a calibration weigh
For the price, they seem ok. Using for pellet weighing would like an extra decimal place in grains but not the end of the world
My husband uses this for his scratch repair company to weight the paint before mixing. Excellent for that.
Had no problems so far great product. Accurate and handy product with cool colour.
Good scales though I wouldn’t say it is actuary rugged. The lid is made of rigid plastic but there is no rubber or neoprene to protect against possible falls or bumps. It comes with a 50g weight for calibrating which is a nice touch but again, the compartment where this is placed is not padded so it rumbles around when in motion. I used some wrapping foam to prevent this.
So I have had no faults with these scales, I got them, tested them out and while the build quality did look poor (wonky looking weigh plate, they worked fine. First it was giving wrong readings, the calibration weight that came with it worked well and fixed all issues.
The issue I would pull up with these is it will not give you a perfect 0.01g reading, it will weigh 0.06 or something and jump up 0.1g rather than being perfect, I got for that kind of accuracy though, these aren’t high end scales for anything else, stop being cheap if you’re worried about 0.01g and buy accurate and sensitive scales.
What first surprised me about these scales is that the scales weigh so much. Certainly, if you were putting them in the back pocket of your jeans you would be aware of the weight. They are certainly robust in that respect, very sturdy little box of tricks.
When I first tried them they seemed not work at all, the LEDs didn’t light up when I pressed the on/off button. So I looked in the battery compartment and found that batteries were wrapped in cellophane and hence incapable of supplying a charge to the scales. Once I had the cellophane remove and the batteries back in place everything worked as well as expected. The battery compartment slip-off lid is a bit difficult to remove, it needed firm downward pressure and a pushing action both at the same time to slip it off. However, once you try it a couple of times it becomes clear how to detach the lid and put it back in place again and you learn how to do it using a bit less force.
I won’t go into operation of the scales very much; suffice to say that the included instructions are very clear, easy to follow, and the scales operate just as the instructions say they will, including the calibration instructions. It is also handy to have a ‘summary of instructions’ printed on the inside of the lid of the scales — very useful.
For accuracy I would rate the scales as 4 star (as against 5 star). There was slight discrepancy in weights when I tested the scales. To test I weighed a match-box with some matches in it. The stated weight (box + matches) was 6.65g. I then tried removing the matches from the box, just put the box on the scales and that came up as 1.67g — for that I then pressed the ‘tare’ button and the display ‘zeroed’ itself again (i.e. the weight of the box itself would be subtracted from the weight displayed once I put the matches back in the box). I then put the matches in the box and the reported weight came up as 5.00g. So, 5.00g of matches + the tare weight of the box itself 1.67g comes to 6.67g when you add the two values up. So there was discrepancy of +0.02g — that’s 2-one-hundreths of a gram — so this discrepancy is within the +/-0.03g error range claimed by the manufacturer. For my purposes a discrepancy of +0.02g (or even +/-0.03g) is fine and I would regard that as acceptable given the price of the scales and that they are not being marketed as full-blown scientific-lab-grade scales. On that basis I would rate the scales as 4 out of 5 accuracy but would underline that to get 5 out of 5 the scales would have to be full-blown scientific-lab-grade scales and these scales aren’t claiming to be that — on that basis I would regard the scales as accurate. (Note: even full-blown scientific-lab-grade scales would also have a +/- error range, do keep that in mind.)
In all I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend the scales — robust construction, easy to use, and pretty accurate — there is an automatic low-battery-power warning LED, which I thought a nice useful touch and a nice ‘overload’ warning if you put something too heavy on the scales (you wouldn’t want to do that as that risks damaging the scales – but handy to have the warning there anyway). Obviously, I can’t comment on longevity.
Very quick delivery and it is working well for me at the moment. I’ve cross-checked it with some other small scales I’ve got and after initial calibration with the supplied weight it’s been working fine without any issues. The scale LCD is big and clear, so easy to read. I’m using it for e-juice mixing by weight and it seems ideal for that purpose to me so I’m very pleased with it. It has a useful turn off the auto-off feature by setting the time-out to zero, which is essential when measuring e-juices mixes, along with the tare function to zero the scale when you add different components to your mix. The usage instructions are clear enough to follow and I’m very pleased with how well it’s been working for me, so far. It comes in a sturdy case, but it’s never a good idea to throw scales about in my experience. It does the job well that I bought it for, so I’m very pleased with it.
you have to calibrate them every time but they work
All in all a great little scale set. Out of calibration on delivery but 50g wait allows easy calibration. Seems accurate and detects the smallest additions.
Great quality for weighing metals, dont buy cheap buy these scales..
Easy to set up. Having the calibration weight helps so much. On point. No nitty getting extra
Totally brilliant set of scales with it’s own calibration weight !
Very accurate quick reading & all in a sturdy knock proof case.
Highly recommend this item !!
The Brifit Digital Pocket Scale arrived on time . The scales came with a user manual with easy to follow instructions .
A 50g Calibrating weight comes with the scales and so i had no trouble re-calibrating the scales before using . Bought it for weighing coins and is accurate to 0.01g . Product price is really reasonable and i am more than satisfied . Would highly recommend . Pete
Nice and not to big. Fits in a back pocket easy. 50g weight have fit above screen so you can check or scales needs calibrating each time easy. Big screen and fairly big numbers and simbols for what you weighing. 13.99 is no brainer for this.
Would recommend very sturdy, easy to use and great value for money
Bit of a pain in the ass to use but uts good
I use for accurate measuring yeast for pizza dough and they work great. Lid tops off of Pringles containers make excellent little dishes.
This is a very good accurate scale made in tough rubber and is easy to use. A very good buy for the price I paid at Amazon.
Tried a couple of other ones but this ones the best.
Small and compact. Perfect for my field research kit. Nice bright display makes night use easy.
Very good, compact and easy to use. Take them traveling when working abroad.
Bought to weigh salt and yeast accurately for bread-making. Seems to be okay.
Best scale for the price you pay, small and easy to use
Decent quality Scale, very happy with it will get it again in the future if it breaks.
Liked look. Would be nice if that could have a click lock button on front, has a magnet close, but it’s a bit flimsy and can easily open.
I paid a bit more over the odds for the look, it is ok, but scale seems to regularly need recalibrating.
As said on the tin works well with weighing powders for cooking etc
Love these scales great quality extremly accurate for herbal use on any weights over 0.03 and calibration weight is handy for accurate weighing
When the scales got to me the calibration weight was missing, one of the magnets that keeps the lid down is missing and the weighing plate was dirty (in my opinion) after a few emails i got a pa
I love the look of these scales I used these to make my chemistry project and the accuracy was amazing I managed to get a 7 for my project thanks to these scales
Seem to do a good job but a little flimsy and basic
Really nice design, great quality and price. Easy to calibrate. Fast delivery
This was easy to use and set up. It comes with a weight so it can be calibrated. Seems to work spot on.
A little confusing on 50 gram callabrate w8 but good scales.
