I love this ringlight. Easy to assemble and use. Can do warm light cool light or a mix of the 2. Has multiple attatchments for either phone or dslr. Also for multiple phones. Highly recomend for streaming and home shoots/creating content.
Easy to set up – connected to my iphone blue tooth easily. Lots of different phone connectors, I just needed the one. Remote works well. Light can be adjusted to different tones. I looked at many alternatives and for value for money I am very happy with this product. This picture was taken with camera (not phone) and light positioned near to create exactly lighting I was after.

As far as I know it’s all good, however this was a Christmas gift so I have know personal experience using this light.
Until I had this lighting set my portrait photography was pretty good when I could get decent natural light, but indoors I was at the mercy of whatever lighting was available. This easy to use set has changed everything for the better, and I’ve genuinely been amazed by the results. Even without much practice I’ve been able to achieve great results with pleasing skin tones, and although some of my family have traditionally been reluctant to pose for me they’re far more accommodating when they see how good they can look when I use this set.
It is a well equipped kit too, with everything you need apart from the camera and it is even supplied with a bag to store it all in. Because everything folds away so readily and is also lightweight the kit is also easy to carry around – suddenly, decent controllable lighting is portable enough to take with you without being a burden or drawing attention. If I really had to pick something I’d like to change it’s that it needs mains power for the light to work, and a rechargeable unit might be better in some circumstances. Even with that in mind I think this set is excellent and I can definitely recommend it.

Instructions are very limited. I just about managed to get the phone holder in but it isn’t stable and there’s tonnes of pieces I have no idea what to do with.
The remote won’t connect with my phone via Bluetooth.
It’s quite wobbly being so top heavy with such a thin stand.

I got this ring light to enhance the light on myself when I am on conference calls. My room light isn’t very bright so I wanted some extra light to make my appearance on calls more professional.
I was pleasantly surprised with this product. It comes packaged in a useful canvas bag with lots of accessories.
The ring light mounts onto a tall, adjustable stand. It has three different mounts in the middle of the light for your phone/cameras. It also comes with two remote controls; one for the light itself and one to control your phone/camera to take photographs.
On the rear of the light, it has manual controls for the brightness, light temperature colour (warm to cold), power on/off and two USB ports. These can all be changed using the remote as well.
This light has greatly improved my experience when I am calls. I have it set up so it is just above my computer facing me. I am also looking forward to using it to illuminate equipment when doing close up work or DIY.
It would also be great for photography, videography and make up.
Overall, I really recommend this ring light. It is very well made, the light can go really bright, and having all the extra features really improves the use. Great product!

This is a substantial and quite heavy ring light, that emits a lot of light. When initially trying it out, I put it up in my conservatory, which is about 23ft X 14ft, and it brightly lit up the entire room.
The light has three mounts, for various cameras, mobile phones and is big enough to take my Canon DSLR. There are 3 phone mounts, that all have a bendable arm and ball socket. The ball sockets enable to phone to be set at any angle or rotation. My Samsung Galaxy S10+ looked lost in the space. You also get a more ridged T-Bar (triangle) phone mount as well. For my DSLR, there is a traditional hot-shoe adapter.
On the rear of the light you have two dials, one for brightness, the other for light colour, and these are dialable. The rear also benefits from 2 X USB-A 5V/2A charging ports. These aren’t fast charging but do provide an ideal point for a mobile phone/s. There is also a main on/off switch.
The light can be rotated and/or tilted but this is where I came across a problem. I wanted the light set up at 90, pointing downwards, with ideally my DSLR on it or, at worst, my mobile phone. The problem is that the tripod does not have enough weight to hold the light at that angle, let alone adding a camera to it. So, at the moment, I have it leaning against my desk, while I sort out some sort of weight to hold the tripod feet firmly on the ground. At lesser angles the tripod performed better.
Tripod height can be adjusted between 95.5 and 225.5cm but if adjusting with the light ring attached, you need to be mindful of the weight of the light. The feet lock into place and, if you imagine the ends forming a triangle, the sides would be 53cm long.
It comes with two remote controls, the first being a Bluetooth remote to take photos and start/stop video recording on your device. The second is a very useful remote for the light itself, which replicates the dial up controls and light on/off (as long as the master switch is on).
Now, I am far from being a professional photographer and am still very much learning and there are most probably better ways of doing this but where this light has really helped me is with eliminating shadows from the things I am photographing. Also, I am able to have a mobile phone camera (charging on one of the USB ports) shooting straight down, with my DSLR at the side. Maybe I’ll invest in a second DSLR if I can sort of the tilting tripod problem and have money — wondering whether dumbbell weight/s might do it. Overall, I am really pleased with this ring light setup.
At 59.99, I think this represents excellent value for money.

It is a nice LED ring. I have had some smalls one before that one. This one is like a professional one. It comes with a tripod the one you can adjust in height.
It has 2 different color lights. Warm one (yellow) and cold one (white). You can adjust the brightness too with the little wheel.
It comes with 3 holds for phone too. You can hold 3 phones at the same time. Or you can use a proper camera.
You can use the control remote to take pictures or videos but this is not an option that I use personally. But it may be good for you!
I don’t want to forget about the bag that it is include in this pack. Once you finish or if you want to transport the Ring you can put everything in the bag and move on!

I’m really pleased to have this; an effective and hardwearing ring light.
At 18″ diameter, it’s big enough to use with an SLR, and while such a camera can be mounted directly in the ring, when I’m using a heavier lens I’m not sure how much I trust it and put the camera on a separate tripod just behind instead. I had a similar previous light with a flourescent tube that broke with the slightest of knocks; this has already taken more punishment than that without skipping a beat or any sign of damage. The included light stand is on the flimsier side, but of course it works with my other stands just as well.
The brightness is very good, and of course as a continuous light it’s equally good for video work. The rear controls are totally straightforward; one dial for the brightness of the warm-white LEDs, another for the brightness of the cool-white ones. Both together seems to give the most natural colour spectrum. I haven’t bothered trying app control, as it’s already convenient enough.
The inclusion of USB charging ports was a nice touch, to use for filming on a phone camera. A battery would have been nice, but at this price I can’t complain much. It’s very portable, everything packing away into a neat carrying bag.
The stand and the overal feel of the light unit is cheap. Let’s be honest, nobody is going to think this is pro level quality gear.
But for a hobbyist or a small YouTuber that probably doesn’t matter. What matters is the light.
It’s pretty powerful (I’ve used it turned down) and it covers a decent area so it’s pretty good for talking head shots.
The rotary controls at the back feel imprecise, but they give you control of output and colour so you have a lot of flexibility.
Used carefully this should work for a long time for most people, but I wouldn’t want to be taking this on professional shoots. I don’t think it’s built to the standards that would take a lof of wear and tear.
That all said, the light output is what counts and on that score it scores highly. Given the size of the light you could put a pretty big camera in the centre of it if you wanted to – plenty of shooting room.
This is the perfect light when doing your makeup ,live streaming,shooting vlogs,professional picture shooting or anything that needs a bright light.
You can adjust the brightness of the light and the color can be set from warm white to daylight white.
You can have 3 phones or a DSLR camera installed on the light inside the circle.
Probably you can install 2 phones and a small camera ,but I haven’t tried,yet.
There is 2 USBs on the light unit so you can also charge 2 phones while take pictures or videos with them and there is no chance to run out of battery.
The light comes with a nice tripod which can be used for the light and for DSLR camera only.
This is really useful as you don’t need to have two of these tripods when travelling.
There will be no need of the light during the day and you can still use the same tripod with your camera without taking the light unit out of it’s bag.
Use can adjust the hight of the tripod and including the light unit it goes up to about 220cm.
Another useful thing is that it comes with 2 types of power cables – one UK plug and one EU plug.
Again perfect for travelling around Europe as there is no need of travel adapters.
There is a remote control for the light and a small remote that can be used with your phone to take selfies.
It is quick and easy to assembly and dismantle.
No need to spend the whole day doing that which means more time shooting with the camera.

Oh wow, this is just perfect, my daughter is jealous! I have recently decided to make youtube videos showing my crochet and this is marvelous! The light is huge and has several brightness settings via a button on the back of it, there are several options for camera attachments and it comes with a good selection of hoders too, I use my iphone and I tip the light and phone down showing my hands as I work and the solid tripod it comes with is perfect for this not overbalancing like my cheaper one did.

First thoughts:
Well I love this and use it every day for doing reviews and Vlogs now. There’s a couple of things that I wish were better but I’ve really grown attached to this light ring.
Detail and things to note (pictures and video):
The tripod can stand low from around 2 feet to as tall as 5.5 feet, and over 7 feet with the ring attached, so there’s plenty of room to get the desired height.
2 USB ports to keep your devices powered while in use which I thought was a nice touch.
The flexible ball rods for the device holders move a little bit when you bend them beyond where they want to be, so trying to get the right stable positions takes a little time. If the device is heavy they aren’t always rigid enough to stop it from moving out of position.
The rig is a little top heavy and tilting the ring too far can cause it to tip forward so I had to place a weight on the rear tripod leg to anchor it.
O turns the light on and I turns it off which I still get wrong every time.
Control knobs spin 360 without stopping so i never know where it’s set, but as you can use the remote to adjust the light, that would override any position the dial was in, so I think that might be by design.
Final thoughts:
Great bit of kit that has a couple of issues, but I’ve found workarounds for them as I think it’s incredibly useful with the tripod and range of lighting options from cold to warm.
I have purchased smaller ones in the past that have been good but this is better than good.
The ring light is 18 inches and works brilliantly as a light for photos, the remote control is very responsive and the colour temperature is stable, the fluorescent flash is efficient too.

All in a great little set that I can highly recommend.
I decided I needed an upgrade and so gifted my old one to a friend.
This one is absolutely amazing, I was expecting it to be better but not this good.
It has a solid steel base frame and so it is extremely sturdy.
It comes with a carry case for easy storage or transportation.
There is an option to mount a variety of devices in the centre of the ring including go pro, tablet, phone or even a DSLR camera. This slightly concerned me at first as my camera is heavy and I didn’t think it would be strong enough to hold it.
However after setting up the stand I was more than happy to give it a go and it exceeded my expectation. It holds the weight of my DSLR with ease. (Pentax K3ii)
It comes with remote control shutter timers, for you to take the perfect shot without any help.
You can adjust the height of the stand up and down to suit your needs.
The lighting is phenomenal and allows you to adjust the tone and brightness to suit exactly what you need.
It comes with an additional power outlet I believe EU so perfect for travelling and there are two USB outlets at the back, just incase your device battery is running on empty.
My only negative thought on it, is I would have liked there to have been an external pocket on the carry case.

This kit comes with a lot of bits, fortunately it has a bag to put the all in.
My kids are keen you tubers and as they get more involved more effort goes into making the videos look better. They still have a lot to learn but a ring light like this one is a big step forward.
The stand is very sturdy and stable on a level surface and can be adjusted to accommodate a range of heights. the ring fits securely onto the top. It comes with a uk mains lead. Small buttons on the back give you control over the brightness and tone (cool blueish white to an much warmer orange white tone). it is dead simple to use.
We used this with a DSLR camera. There is a slot in the ring for the camera to slide straight in. It was not terribly easy to tighten and I was a little concerned the the camera might fall out. The ring is adjustable through a range of angles.
The bag is slightly padded on the back and front to offer a little protection. I don’t think that the bag was designed to carry the stand as well as the ring, but the stand fits so for the sake of convenience I keep it in there. I just need to be careful how I store it as a dunt might cause the stand to damage the ring.
All together this is a nice little set up, great for animation as well as selfies and videos. My kids are making good use of it.

All i can say is wow! This is absolutely amazing, my daughter has a smaller one that is no where near as good as this.
This has everything you would need and is made to be able to fit phones to camera’s, it comes with lots of different attachments which feel very well made to attach them to the ring light.
Me and my partner set this up and connected the bluetooth controller up to our phone which was very easy to do, the control itself responds well and takes your photo/video instantly which i think is fantastic.
It also has a separate controller to be able to control the ring light itself which also responds well.
The tripod went to 7ft high at that height it was not as sturdy but still stood up fine, at normal height the tripod is sturdy and locks into place well with no fear of it moving.
The ring light can go really bright and when flicking through the different brightness it does not flicker. The head is adjustable so you can direct the light at any angle so it is just how you want it.
It comes with a nice bag that fits everything in so is really good if you want to take it anywhere.
I think this is amazing for the price as it is huge, feels well made, has all the bits you need with it and also has the bluetooth controller so you can take images or videos while you are no where near it.
I would, absolutely, buy this now I’ve used it.
Pros:
* Really bright and surprisingly even light output. Not to the standards of high-end stuff, but it’s a tenth of the price.
* Built-in PSU, easy to plug in anywhere.
* Lightweight stand is a convenient feature – it’s not great, but it does work.
* Remote control is handy.
* HUGE! You could shoot with a medium-format camera through this!
* Mobile-phone bendy things can be useful for other photographic/video stuff.
Cons:
* It is quite flimsy feeling, and tightening the clamp makes worrying creak noises. Hasn’t broken though.
* Gets warm/warning beep after a while; the back of the case is styled to mimic the heatsinks of pro gear, but it’s plastic.
* Bag is just a bag. No pockets for accessories.
* Stand is wobbly. But for the price that’s entirely acceptable and not a reason to complain – just don’t expect Manfrotto stability from it.
Like all LED lights of this class, the daylight blue is not full-spectrum and can make colours look off – bring the warm light in a touch for more natural shades. My images here are deliberately amateurish to underline this is a consumer product and a real review – I’ve also put this in the studio alongside my Elinchrom shooting table and flash, and it’s thoroughly useful as a shadowless source (I have a Quadra ringflash too, but continuous lighting is better for composition and setup, and of course you can’t do video with a flash). Because it’s plastic, it’s really light and can be mounted on lower-cost stands than you’d need to support the pro-level, metal lights.
For the cost it’s absolutely amazing – I would have paid much, much more for anything of this light output and shape a few years ago, and I really like it, appreciate that I got to use a piece of kit I’d otherwise have scrolled past and dismissed as having no professional use, and will be making much more use of it in future. I particularly like that it’s large and bright enough to allow handheld shots of a studio mixer without the knobs and faders lost in shadows.
It’s unlikely to stand up to frequent/location work, but treated with care there’s no reason for it to not last as long as any low-cost flash system. I haven’t gone into light output levels because I no longer have, or use, a light meter – cameras have such flexible sensors now that all you need to know is that you can get low-noise ISO ranges (800-1600), lots of depth of field/smaller apertures and still shoot handheld even if you don’t have stabilisation. For modern smartphones (where you’ve got a huge diameter to frame your shot though) it’s perfect too.
For the money, top marks. Really. And that’s from someone who has worked with five-figure flash kits before.
And what a great kit this is. Inside the packaging you’ll find a storage bag, the lighting ring, the adjustable tripod, power cable, remote controls and multiple phone/camera connectors. The main remote control has the ability to turn on the unit, cycle through lighting presets and to manually adjust the brightness. There’s also a secondary remote to allow direct connection to your phone which allows you to take selfies. The lighting ring is suprisingly large, and takes up quite a bit of space. It leaves you in no doubt that this is a serious bit of kit. Inside the lighting ring are mounts to allow you to attach your mobile phone or digital camera. They sit on top of a bar that houses the remote control sensor, and on the revers side you’ll find power switch and manual controls of the lighting rig that you’ve also got on the remote. There are also USB ports to allow you to power your phone while filming/photographing.
The light ring has a huge range of light, bright or dimmed and brilliant white to difused warm tones. You should really be able to find a suitable light for your application. I’ve been using it to dial out the bright light from the window to one side, giving my face an even spread of light. The light, while offering great intensities, remains cool and won’t toast your face. You won’t notice any flicker of the light unless you film in extremely slow speeds. You can just make out a very minor flicker at 240fps on the iPhone’s Slo-mo mode, but it’s an acceptable level and there aren’t going to be many recording at that speed with a lightring.
The remote control is pretty good, although you do need to make sure you’re pointing it directly at the remote sensor. The tripod is sturdy enough with a large height adjustment so you can have it sat on your desk or standing on the floor. The lightring can be adjusted for angle and rotatation, so you really should be able to get the light just where you want it.
If I have a real criticism it’s the phone/camera mounts. The way they connect to the lighting ring didn’t allow me to full tighten them so there’s a little bit of play. But that aside, there’s not much to fault here.
Overally, I have been extremely impressed with the CXYP Ring Light. A complete kit for the novice and pro home studio. I thoroughly recommend it.
This is very big 18” led ring light. Light is dimmable 3200K-6000K, you can change it using a remote controll to adjust the light power from low to high and also to choose warm or cold light. It comes with big and sturdy tripod stand, a phone holder, hot shoe, bluetooth receiver and a carry bag. Im very happy with this product, it worth the money.
This ring light and tripod set is incredible. It’s all carefully packaged and boxed. The light itself is huge! The tripod feels well made and is easy to adjust to different heights. Setting up was relatively self explanatory, quick and easy. The light itself has an on/off switch and two knobs for the colour and light strength/brightness.
My photos do this no justice. The ring light goes so bright without creating glare. It’s perfect for YouTubing but also for makeup application, drawing and tattooing. I haven’t needed to connect my phone or camera to the tripod yet but that looks straight forward also. I used the light for a couple of hours and it was consistent and solid throughout. The light was not warm/hot after use.
The kit packs back into its zip bag and into the box neatly. A very useful and impressive bit of kit.
I also use this in the bathroom or bedrooms when I apply my makeup as it hides no parts of your face from the light meaning you get a great end effect.
My mum loves to borrow this also as her eyesight isn’t as good so she can use this for close up jobs on the evening like her sewing.

Got this for my daughters room she’s into instagram and live videos while doing make up, and various other (she also plans on doing beauty later on
So on arrival wow surprised much bigger, all the parts are well wrapped, easy to set up all parts are good quality comes with three holders for phones and or GoPro or SLR camera she can now live stream using 2 different cameras
The light ring is adjustable warmth levels which is great for on line and even photography comes with a Bluetooth control and a remote Control for the light ring, which easy to connect.

If you want to go up from a basic smartphone ring light (which is a dramatic step up from room lights), then this is a highly capable device which is good enough to be used as a ring light for commercial video making. It can support a DSLR or up to three iPhones, plugs into mains electricity, and has two USB charging ports built-in, so you don’t have to worry about the battery going. It has two infinite dials for 3000k and 6000k, by which you can achieve video-level brightness at almost all useful colour temperatures. It also comes with remote controls for the light and your phone (batteries not included), fittings for phones and cameras, and a good carrying case. It also comes with a stand which is flimsy as far as commercial lighting is concerned, but significantly sturdier than most things you’ll find for consumer equipment. The fitting is the same as a commercial light stand, so if you have a better stand, you can use it.
At 18″, this is a big light which you can’t just put in your bag and carry with you. But it’s also the right size for video, and will make green-screening a lot easier. Although the colour temperature adjustment leaves you guessing a bit, this is a light I could happily put next to commercial video lights without it feeling like a toy or a mistake.
There are smaller and more compact lights available, and it may be worth starting with one of those. But if you want to really get the best image for vlogging or online conferencing, or even green screen production with a DSLR, this would be the one I would choose.

This was easy to set up and the 18″ light is way better than my old 10″ LIGHT … YOU GET A FAR BETTER COVERAGE OF LIGHT and you can adjust the tone of the light. Everything else is a bonus. Definitely would recommend this.
This is more than just a light, it’s a whole kit. This includes the folding tripod stand, the circular light unit, the power cables, filters/diffusers and phone/camera holders.
This can either be used as a standard directional light source, a portrait light (gives a great eye reflection), or even a shoot through light using the holders that are included.
The brightness and colour temperature can be easily adjusted to many levels to suit a host of photography situations. A great light for any amateur photographer!
This light is so versatile and easy to use!!
