This dash cam considering the price is actually a lot better than you would think, the finish work is nice and tidy it doesn’t look cheap at all unlike some others. The menu is very easy to navigate and the screen is quite a decent size but without taking any room from the drivers view through the windscreen, Image quality is top-notch in the day clearly picks every detail up and also not too bad during nighttime driving. The microphone is quite good as well picks me up talking and also my music and on pay back on my pc the Picture image and sound quality are very clear..
Highly recommend this dash cam if you’re looking for a decent low-budget end one
Its pretty easy to setup once you sort out the cable routing ,its ready to go. Also a good dash cam will detect any abnormalities around your car and will protect you against any liabilities when you are not at fault.
Video quality is fantastic and even night vision is very visible when recording.
It has got an intelligent G sensor turns on whenever there is some sudden movement it works like a charm everytime and auto turns on while driving.
First off by now you would hope that manufacturers of dash cams would understand that people don’t want to see trailing leads across their centre console or steering wheel. The leads supplied are focused around using your cigarette lighter socket in my car this is located within my arm rest so not practical at all to have a trailing lead from there. The alternative is to locate your fuse board and hard wire into it. There are loads of kits that assist with this but obviously requires a further payment and YouTube videos that shows how to install.
The camera itself is very good with easy menus to navigate through and they supply a 32gb memory card which is ample for recording in all modes. The reason is that in the event of an accident the camera records multiple 3 minute videos making it easier to locate the one you need for your insurance.
Overall a good camera just frustrating to need to buy yet more accessories.
Fairly easy to set up, comes with everything you need but I found but the battery really didn’t last long at all. As it turns out you will need to use the car cigarette power port to operate this all the time when driving as the on board battery will only last a few minutes. So bear that in mind, if your car does not have this port (not all newer cars do) as this will be essential to being able to use this camera.
The kussla’s dashcam is a basic accessory, good for essential dashcam features. It is certainly not the best dashcam that I’ve seen or used but good for the price band. In my opinion, It has a couple of pros and cons.
PROS
1. The cam has a large 3″ screen which is good for preview and playback.
2. Viewing angle is 170 degrees which is wide enough to cover a decent view of the road.
3. The video quality and the night vision is good for its price.
4. It comes with a 32GB card so that you don’t need to worry about buying one separately.
5. Suction mount didn’t fail me in about a month-long usage at the time of this review.
6. A free card reader is a bonus.
7. Packaging box is nice and the camera arrived well-protected.
CONS:
1. The build quality isn’t great. The plastic used feels cheap. I was a bit disappointed to see the build quality. Please note: I might have high expectations and it is not related to cams image/video quality.
2. It mentions the model 2022 model but it didn’t the menu and video quality didn’t appear significantly different to my previous 5+ years old camera of a similar price range.
3. Fitting the camera to the suction holder isn’t smooth. I appreciate it is a budget cam but the sliding fit to the hold doesn’t feel smooth.
Overall, it is a basic dashcam and does its job. Good for its price. I bought it for my second car and will continue to use it. I didn’t experience any software crash in about month-long usage. If you are looking for a basic budget dashcam then this isn’t a bad choice.
This little dashcam is pretty feature rich considering its low RRP; night vision being the stand out for me. I have tried a few different cameras and this is certainly the best – in terms of features – that I have used.
It’s not all good news though as the saying goes, if it’s too good to be true….etc, etc. The battery life is pretty shocking and mine was draining in under 20 minutes, which is madness. IT does come with the standard 12V power cable, but using the cable isn’t always practicable, transferring to your PC for example. The battery life was a major disappointment for me.
Night vision wasn’t too bad, although a little grainy. It comes with a 32GB card, which is a nice touch, but that soon fills up. It is simple to transfer to your PC. The menus are simple enough, but never look very professional on these kind of units.
Other features include collision recording protection, so if you are in a collision the footage is locked and cannot be accidently erased. The camera is pretty good during the day and the angle of recording is nice and wide, so you do get both sides of the carriageway when driving.
A pretty decent camera for the price and although there are some nice features included, there are some compromises, such as the battery life, so I think you would need to consider other options if you are in the market for a dash cam.
Definitely need to have one to help any insurance claim these days unfortunately.
It’s the first thing they ask for is a witness or dash cam footage.
The quality is very good of the images and recordings.
Night vision is surprising clear as well. Camera is hidden well behind my rear view mirror using the suction cup bracket. Took seconds to fit and powered via the usb cable included I’ve hidden it all the way along the trim in my car so it’s out of sight.
Happy with this dash cam and feel better protected for having it now.
Don’t judge this camera on the low rrp otherwise you will mis out on a absolute steal, it really is a great little camera with lots of features.
It’s unusual that dash cams come with sd cards as these are usually a add on extra but not with this dash cam the sd card is included which is a great bonus.
Good wide display so you can see/ record both sides of the road but for me the usp was the motion detector, this is fantastic for night time motion detector and it films up to 30 seconds.
This would make a ideal 1st dash cam for someone just for their own peace of mind and it also helps with insuarance policies.
Does everythign exactly described on the product description, you won#t be dissapointed by this dash cam.
This review is for a front camera dashcam, RRP 49.99, priced at 35.99 at time of review.
The dashcam has a good sized screen, comes with a data cable, suction cup, cleaning aids, cigarette lighter charging cable and includes an SD card.
The camera is quite easy to set up and has a few simple features. Some of which are only advised to use if permanently powered into the mains battery. The suction cup is a simple ball and socket design. The camera is a bit awkward to clip onto it, so it is a little flimsy. I managed to give it a good push and it seems better. You get plenty of cable between the charging point and the camera, so you’re not limited with placement. I assume there is a model that has a rear camera as there’s a jack port and mention of it in the instruction book.
I thought the quality of the camera was quite good, enough to get a clear picture if you ever needed any footage from it.
For what you get, I definitely think the 36 price is reason, 50 is a bit of a stretch. Overall its a simple camera that does the job.
This is a pretty basic dashcam, and quite a few of the stated features don’t really work, but despite that it’s still good value at 40 at time of writing.
The good stuff – you get a memory card, and even a card reader, included so it’s literally ready to go out of the box. Put it together, stick it to your windscreen, and you’re off.
Picture quality is great, and has a good image even in the dark (assuming you turn off the IR lights).
It’s nice and wide angle view, so it captures everythign you can see from your windscreen. The suction is nice and strong and hasn’t fallen off in a couple of weeks of use.
Downsides – the parking monitor just doesn’t really work. The internal battery is so small that it turns off after a few minutes, so there’s no way to use it as a parking monitor.
The IR lights aren’t a lot of use, as they just reflect off the windscreen.
There’s no GPS built in.
Despite the drawback, this is a really nice basic web cam. Simple and easy to use.
Fitted this dash cam at the weekend. and have been driving around with it for several days now. The instrcutions were very clear and I didn’t find the fitting preocess too painful. I expect my car was a little more awkward than some as it has a very deep tray beneath the windscreen and access to that are means kneeling on a car seat and a fair bit of stretching in order to run the cable neatly. Anyway once fitted its all very discreet. The camera itself works very well with a good clear sharp image and a nice wide angle. Pretty much just as clear on wet nights too, even with the comfusion of lights and rain. It self wipes by default though you can set it to keep images if you wish. But importantly it will keep images should yoube involved in a shunt…or worse, as te recognised whats happened. It may not be the very best dash cam on the market, and of course its only front facing, but for the money it is very good quality and value.
This modern take of dash cam is surprisingly good, it has full HD recording (1080p) and a wide 170 degrees shooting angle.
On the back it manages to pack in a 3″ LCD screen which is sharp and clear.
This dash cam also has night time shooting capabilities, it features a WDR inbuilt software to balance out the lighting to give you a clearer image at night.
There are other features like an inbuilt microphone/ speaker, loop recording which deletes old files giving you continuous recording and automatic start up recording which I find useful. As it automatically starts recording once you turn the ignition on.
What is surprising is that this dash cam actually includes a 32mb memory card which enables you to use it straight out of the box.
Definitely a good start.
This isn’t a bad quality dash cam at all. It’s firstly packaged well, and protected inside nicely too.
Camera quality is the best you’re going to get at this low price range, and 1080p might be more than enough for some, but for others it might be too low for this day and age. Night time the camera picks up the number plates pretty well.
I use mine as a rear camera as I already have a 4K front camera. I am more than happy having this at the rear with the comfort knowing that if i was rear ended, something will be recording it.
Straight out the gate, i’ll say this is a fair value dash cam.
For the cost, you really will be hard pushed to find a similar quality cam with so many features.
Collision detection, parking protection, motion detection and night vision are all features you normally expect to be reserved for models at a much higher price point.
My two main grumbles are that although it comes with a 32GB memory card, there is no way of using larger sized ones, which is a bit of a basic drawback. The other big weakness though is that the actual battery on it really is VERY limited, it seems to last minutes, which is pretty poor.
During the day, the image quality is pretty good and you can easily pick out licence plates if needed, at night it does suffer a bit more. The unit itself is easy to fit and the menu controls are all fairly sinple and intuitive but the unit is a little on the bulky side.
It’s powered via the cigarette lighter but it is possible to have it hard wired… That said, if you were going to the effort of getting it hard fitted you’d probably want to spend a bit more.
Image transfer is nice and simple as you can use a USB stick direct in the camera or just plug the unit into a PC.
Overall, if you just want a basic dash cam then this will do the job at a fair price.
A little bulkier than other dashcams, this dashcam comes with all the necessary items to install and use easily. The image quality is also ok, but not the best. On the bright side, it doesn’t block my view and doesn’t fall or peel off.
The camera turns on as soon as I start the car. It comes with an SD card and a suction cup that can rotate the camera 360-degrees. The camera automatically starts recording when something collides with the car. Night vision, g-sensor, wide view angle, and loop recording, this dashcam has everything. Works well and I’m satisfied.
small and easy to assemble. It looks pretty good through it, and it’s filmed absolutely everything. A memory card is inserted where everything filmed is stored. When you start the car turns on automatically and is pretty good from my point of view. We like that it is small and does not disturb the view through the window. I mean, don’t get me wrong. It is easy to apply and you have everything you need in the box. We recommend it, quality-price is ok. and once placed on the windshield it does not fall or peel off while walking.
This dash camera appears to be of good quality and not having had one before and not comparing it to any other product we’re happy with it and how easy it is to set up and use. Includes adjustable mount, Mini USB cable, Micro SD memory card, cleaning cloth, and instructions.
The video quality is fine on a decent size screen, and I can’t really think what is missing as it does the job — maybe it isn’t the best quality/or brand named but for us its absolutely fine and found it rather interesting watching some footage (not exactly riveting but well, rather interesting
This dashcam is a little bulky and with the bracket will take up a fair bit of space on the windscreen. The size is partly due to the large screen on the back, which is nice and easy to read menu’s etc., but little use when driving.
Features abound though, with looped recordings, plenty of adjustments to the image quality, an input for a rear camera and even the ability to monitor the car for bumps when the camera is ‘off’.
I can’t show images of number plates from a distance (Amazon won’t let me post a review with them) but image quality is good enough to read them from 3-4 car lengths away. If you’re after something that shows who is at fault in an accident, this is ideal though.
Comes with 32GB micro-SD card, bracket, power cable, accessory socket charger and smaller mini-USB lead for data transfer.
Overall a competent camera with good quality and at a reasonable price. Not exceptional, but good enough for most people. Just a little large in the windscreen. 70mai cameras have no screen but are much smaller.
I’ve considered investing in a dash cam for some time now, so you can imagine my delight when I got the opportunity to test out this baby for free! Set up is straightforward, similar to a Sat Nav you attach a sucker pad onto the unit, fix it to the windscreen and simply plug it in. It comes with two cables: one goes into a USB socket and the other into a cigarette lighter so you can choose which you prefer. As soon as you start the ignition the camera switches on and starts recording, and when the SD card (included) is full, it simply begins to override to the earliest recordings. Picture quality is good but not outstanding.
There are a variety of options, all accessed from the menu, so the unit is very customisable. I did get a little frustrated with the soccer pad at first because it continually fell off, however here’s a tip: soak it in hot water first and why it is still warm affix it to the windscreen and it seems to cure this.
As this is my first dash cam I have nothing to compare it to, but I’m satisfied with its performance so far.
This car camcorder is much more sophisticated than my old one. Really easy to use and even easier to set up. The LCD screen is larger than average and the DVR captures really clear images. Simple to record and the camera sticks to the windscreen securely.
I am really happy with this and for under 50.00 this represents excellent value for money. Lightweight and very smart I highly recommend for quality and style.
This ‘front’ dash camera represents a really good package and everything you need is in the box, including the necessary memory card. There is even a USB stick for storage and transfers. It is light and compact and comes with a screen mounted suction pad. This is my least favourite part of the set and its possible adjustment is a bit limited; nonetheless it does job. The camera is intended to be powered from an in-car lighter socket via the cable provided. A data cable is also included so it can be connected to a computer. There is a lens cleaning tool/cloth, detailed bi-lingual instructions and a contacts card.
In use, it works pretty well and the video quality would be good enough to help out in the event of accident or emergency. There are lots of different features but I have not been able to try them all yet. In any case, dedicated though I am, I am not going to be able to test the accident video lock feature, for obvious reasons. This is my first dash cam and so far I am enjoying using it. It is quite interesting to review footage and I am sure it may lead to improvements in my driving style. It is also comforting to know it is there.
I think this is a good start up package, if you want to give a dash cam a try. It is relatively inexpensive and therefore, although some compromises have been made, it does the job. The value for money is certainly there and if you like what you see, well there are plenty of pricier options to upgrade to.
At first I thought it would take me a long time to actually understand the instruction manual and actually get used to setting it up and attaching it to my car and so on and so forth however that wasn’t the case was fantastic very easy and simple to use very much love and appreciate the actual camera itself haven’t had any issues and problems with it so far so I’m very much admired and appreciated I do you like it’s easy to attach to my car and everything else that comes with it is very easy to use specially the USB where you can attach the SD card into and just plug it into your computer see the data and see the information is very easy to take out the micro SD card and pop it back into the actual camera itself the quality of the camera is fantastic it has a fantastic wide zoom as well which is very unique and very good especially for calling even if you have a big car or even a boss and so on and so forth into the fantastic job I very much recommend this just due to the high quality of the actual product in his adhesiveness in attaching itself to the window as well as the quality of the actual camera. very well made and I definitely recommend it for the price.
