cover a bit dented all the media blu ray/dvd were fine plus there case and the book was fine but the outer case they were in was dented at the bottom and ripped at the top but this may have been caused by the royal mail so i contacted amazon and they were very helpful

Questa collezione e’pazzesca. Cofanetto curatissimo (uno dei migliori mai visto) completamente in Italiano (sono presenti anche altre lingue nei DVD, ma tutti sono in Italiano, la lingua del cofanetto si capisce dalla cover che appunto ha i testi in italiano (attenzione all’acquisto visto che il cofanetto disponibile anche in Inglese e Spagnoloma in queste versioni non tutti i DVD sono in italiano).
I DVD sono tutti disposti benissimo e hanno, oltre al film, inserti speciali ed episodi di cartoni di Paperino ed altro (i classici cartoni che si vedevano da bambini della durata di 10-15 min).
Per chi ama Disney qualche cosa di unico. Avrei preso la versione BR, ma solo in Inglese.
Questa raccolta non perfetta solo per tutti i dvd all interno, ma lo anche per come strutturata. Un libro, le cui pagine contengono i dvd, da un lato e dall altro lato la copertina dell uscita del cartone. INSOMMA una meraviglia per i fanatici della disney.

Contain the latest versions of the bluray movie releases, however many are not Region Free (Read the small prints). 57 discs to Frozen II is a very good collection.

Having read these reviews and how dense some people are as to what this product actually is let me fill any confused consumers in.
This is a collection of the complete Walt Disney Animation Studios theatrical canon. This does not include any live action film (Song of the South, Mary Poppins, Pete’s Dragon, Mary Poppins Returns etc) even though animation was contributed to all of those movies.
Nothing more, nothing less. No “woke” agenda here just a boxset that doesn’t include a film that it was never supposed to. It would be like saying a Batman boxset has to include Casablanca as they’re both made by Warner Bros Pictures.
Ignore the butthurt people trying to turn a Blu-ray boxset into some weird political attack and just buy the movies if you want them. Or Don’t, frankly it doesn’t matter.
My wife is a big fan of Disney and I gave her for Christmas gift and she love it. The product is amazing, great quality and must have piece for all Disney fan’s.

I always prefer physical media over streaming/download – and this enormous box set is perfect. Vast majority are blue ray and to have the vast collection in one place is perfect. Packaged very well with a hardback book that talks about the films.
Sadly it did arrive with one corner dented; and had it been a gift, I’d have been rather cross

There are a few odd things about the discs. The majority are region free, but there are 12 region locked ones, and 5 of them are DVDs and not Blu-rays. It seems like they straight up copied whatever they already had released and didn’t bother putting any work into to standardize this set. Which is most obvious when you see that disc 9 and 11 are actually the exact same disc and contents (even says so on back of box).
Those nits aside, this is truly a must have for any Disney fan!
I personally love the box design. Its carboard and not some huge plastic waste, while still being extremely sturdy and displayable. On each page there is the original poster as well as the modern cover on the disc itself, as well as a collage in the back.

A great collection, good quality, some we have not seen before.
A very good and affordable set. To all those who keep asking “where is song of the south?” Well I’m guessing you are not a Disney fan, because if you were, you would know that Song of The South is NOT a Disney Classic. Just because it’s one of Disney’s older films does not mean that it gets listed as one of the Classics, not how it works. If you don’t believe me, just google the full list of Disney Classics and you won’t see Song of the South anywhere.
My best gift for my little girl, she loves the movies and the box itself is amazing. I can recommend the box to anyone of any age..
Great product for children can choose what to watch easily with pictures for each film, nicely presented and handy to use
It really isn’t too bad value either with 57 discs it works out about 3.50 a film which is far less than I would pay to buy each Blu-ray individually.

No this is a animated Disney Classic collection. It a heavy piece of Disney memorabilia with memories of childhoods past. Its presentation is exactly what I’d expect from this revered company like Disney.
But each one separate be more then listed price of whole item. And can only increase in time as years go bye..
Just for ones what about Dinasour missing it’s at 39 in official list.
There are 2 list uk and USA now Disney deemed it a flop, none money maker so have not included in this collection.

This box set contains a massive set of 57 classic Disney animated films all the way back from 1937’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs right up to 2019’s Frozen 2. While this set doesn’t include any “live action” releases from Disney’s back catalogue, you are still owning a huge slice of history in this rather weighty box. There is some nice fan service here too, with original movie posters shown in the disc folder as well as an attractive book entitles “A Celebration of the Walt Disney Animation Studios” included in the package. This is how to do a box set, although you may want to upgrade to the blu ray box set if you’re a serious Disney fan as DVD is such an old format now that won’t show these titles at their best.
This is Disney’s gift to its many enthusiasts and fans. All 57 of Disney’s animated films in one beautiful box set – it’s like a collector’s dream come true! It also includes a special documentary disc but I haven’t had the chance to watch it yet. So far I have just been enjoying revisiting so many classics I haven’t seen in years (tonight’s viewing will be The Fox and The Hound, one I remember fondly from my childhood). Even the box itself is beautifully designed and will look great standing alongside the rest of your collection. It may seem pricey but when you consider what is included, it really isn’t all that expensive at all – just a few pounds per film, in fact! Even if you already own many of these films, there are so many lost and forgotten classics it is worth buying to have the entire animated output in a single attractive set (I won’t even address the fabricated “controversy” over the absence of Song of the South, except to point out that it is not one of the fully animated features so has no place in this set, just like Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Mary Poppins and other features that are live action but include animated segments)
A bumper box set of 57 dvd’s in a presentation box, slip case, book etc. Both the Blu Ray and dvd sets are 57 discs, which , when you consider one of the discs is only 40 minutes long, seems rather extravagant! But I suppose presentation is all nowadays and the dvd book has mostly 4 discs per double page, with discs on the right and artwork on the left. It is quite heavy though. There is an insert slip detailing extras, but it is very small print and quite hard to read. You get the impression that not a great deal of thought went into this. The transfers are all excellent and all the titles have been digitised to maximise watchability. Ar around 3.00 per disc this is certainly a bargain if you want all the Disney animation in one place. I little more thought in the presentation would have been better. The accompanying book is well illustrated and an interesting read. All in all an expensive but worthwhile issue, which should solve some gift problems.
There can’t be many people who have not been touched by the magic of Walt Disney at some time in their lives, such was his enormous contribution to popular culture and the all-encompassing corporation that his legacy has become today. From his early start as an animator selling his short films for cinema distribution, to developing Animation into an artform in it’s own right, Walt Disney has entranced each generation in turn, so a collection like this one has been a long time coming. As Walt himself is quoted here : ” Cartoon Animation offers a medium of storytelling and visual entertainment which can bring pleasure and information to people of all ages everywhere in the world”, and I would agree with that.
This boxset, then, is a prestige release, containing many all-time classics that should have something for everybody, whether young and old. It is beautifully presented, being in the form of a storybook ( Quite fitting for the subject matter) which holds a whopping 57 discs and reproduces the original movie poster for each release, from the first full-length animated feature ( Snow White, 1937) to the most recent to date ( Frozen2, 2019). This is accompanied by a lavishly illustrated 80 page book that chronicles the history of the studios and gives an insight into the best of the movies contained here. Both items fit into a sturdy slipcase which in turn has an outer sleeve, making it an attractive addition to any movie collection.
As such then, many of the films contained here have been acclaimed by critics as the best of their kind, and have garnered awards for every aspect of production, from Art and Design to Music, Storytelling and Production.
If I have any criticism of this set, it is that it is too extensive and this may put off all but the most ardent followers of Disney. Every era of the studio is represented here, and some titles are less desirable than others, but I suppose the point of a collection like this is that the good runs with the bad. The run of films from the 1990’s is especially strong, when the studio regained it’s reputation for delivering top-class family entertainment and attracted big name actors and musicians to their productions.
All of the titles in this boxset have been available separately, I believe, so you may have some already, but this is a lovely way to possess them. At 175 for the DVD version it may seem a large purchase at first, but this equates to just 3 per film which is a bargain when looked at that way. Not much in the way of extra features – the discs I have seen so far are the Vanilla versions only- so a disc with some sort of documentary would have been good and would have completed the set nicely in my opinion. Nevertheless, this is an excellent set that shows just why the Disney name is so well known throughout the world. Go on- treat yourself and your family to some magic this Christmas!!
a Disney collection or indeed Disney + and have two little ones (I myself
have both as does my youngest with her two little ones) reading some reviews
of the item and earlier releases, there were issues raised with region-locked,
sound and play. and was concerned, so I without damaging the package spent
some time checking a large number of the discs to ensure there were no issues.
Can tell you, there were no issues of concern at all, the picture and sound quality
superb, in most cases, you can skip the adverts/previews and go straight to the main feature, each has language-options (arguably fairly limited)
Have to admit this is almost too good a collectable to pass on, with a hardcover booklet containing the 57 films usually 4 movies per section within coupled with an 80-page booklet and at a cost of little over 3 each the delightful Disney package is great value for money – no question.
The 57 movies which include most if not all the key favourites from down the
82 Disney years covered in the collection which include the very first coloured animation movie Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs (1937) right through to Frozen 2 (2019)
One can, with all collections of this kind argue that there is many of some of one’s favourites missing, however, all the major animation releases are within this
wonderful collectable.
Truly a treasure to behold.
This is a collection of every animated Disney film since they first started producing them. “Animated” needs to be emphasised because this doesn’t include live action films like Mary Poppins.
My two young daughters love animated films and this has been a real treat for them so far. Even though they’re used to sick digitally animated films with contemporary wise cracking characters and postmodern humour, the story telling technique is flawless, the characters so vivid and the animation so endearing that they have taken to the hand drawn style with absolutely no hesitation.
This box set, complete with coffee table book, is a fine document of a facet of cinema history. Not every film is a classic, of course but in general, the standard has remained remarkably high over the decades. These films can be bought individually, of course but this is certainly the easiest way to get 57 of them, presented to a remarkably high standard.
This is an absolutely brilliant set of 57 Disney films in a beautiful box and also an 80 page book.
At this price it works out at only 3 a film, although there is now a Disney TV channel etc that show the films, for me this is a very personal collection that I intend to gift to my niece, I feel this will be a future collection piece that will be kept in the family for years to come.
Iconic films, great presentation and I throughly recommend you invest in this.
This extraordinary box set ~ so beautifully packaged like a heavenly book ~ like the Disney bible and containing 57 ( yes 57!) films from Snow White to Frozen 2 ~ is not only a treasure but an archive of Disney animation. It is a cinematic history of the changing techniques that Disney employed from hand draw miraculous films like Pinocchio and Dumbo to CGI influenced masterpieces like Tangled and Ralph Breaks the Internet and all and everything in between : early experimental work e.g. Make Mine Music and later genre changing productions e.g. Treasure Planet and Bolt.
There is something here for everybody. no matter how old (or young)
Favourites to rewatch with a new audience and modern classics to amaze the seasoned Disney watcher.
Included with the album of discs is a highly informative hard backed book telling the story of Disney Productions ( long may they continue) and brief notes on each and every DVD.
This is an education and every film school should have a copy

The other 4 films on DVD are earlier ones, but does anyone know why the BLACK CAULDRON is only on a DVD ????
People complaining that ‘Song of the South’ should be in the collection – No It Shouldn’t! And not because of censoring history or anything like that, but because ‘Song of the South’ isn’t from the Disney Animation Studios Canon (there are some omissions like Dinosaur and the 2011 Winnie the Pooh as they’re not in the UK list) but ‘Song of the South’ is largely live-action, and is why ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘Bedknobs and Broomsticks’, ‘Pete’s Dragon’, ‘Enchanted’ and ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ isn’t in the collection, yes they are Disney movies, but they are not from the Disney Animation Studios Canon. I agree ‘Song of the South’ should get at least a limited release so people can watch it and judge for themselves (I had it on VHS in the 90s and found it boring as a kid), and it is an important movie for Disney in that it is an Oscar winner for Best Original Song ‘Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah’ but it’ll never be included in this collection, no matter how many times this collection is re-released when other Animated Movies are released.
This set only loses a star because they have not included Song of The South so by definition it is NOT complete.
Shame on Disney for robbing some of us of a rightful live action/animation classic.
Not COMPLETE as stated…..hybrid/live and animated combo films NOT included and not ALL are on Blu Ray,so I will keep my hard earned money in my pocket……lead by example…..look at the Disney/Pixar box set…better value for your money
