Does what it says on the box very good produc
Lovely product, good heat . you wouldn’t use the light because the heater gives off excellent light, looks great hanging in centre of gazebo but power lead is way to short. Would of looked a lot neater if we didn’t have to run extension lead up and across the gazebo. The remote only works if you stand up and point about 6 inches away from heater.
Great heater for a 4m x 4m gazebo.
Lightweight and easy to install.
Power cable to short, but you can soon remedy that yourself.
Good heat.
Very pleased with my purchase. Ray to assemble and gave enough heat for a chilly summer evening bbq. After looking at similar in our local garden centres, this was by far the best value at such a good price.
The heater gives off way more light than the little light under the heater. What’s the point? The remote is responsive and easy to use. It would be nice to be able to operate it from the unit itself
I really like this heater, I use it outside in my gazebo with the sides zipped up. It was easy to install, you just hang it with the chain then plug it in. On full power it gave out loads of heat so we could sit outside in March! It also gives off a brilliant light so it was lovely and cozy.
One star removed for the really short cord, we had to use it with an extension lead.
This looks great and gives off a great amount of heat!
its easy to hang however the lead is very short so i had to use an extension lead, i think i will buy a longer lead and change it.
Other than the lead being short everything else is great!
Surprisingly warm, and the heat spreads wider than I thought it would. It’s ideal for keeping the chill at bay when enjoying an evening cup of tea in the garden.
Great product easy to assemble although diagram instructions very small. Took photo with phone and enlarged. But excellent all round. Very happy with purchase recommended to friend.
Purchased this last year and glad i did. Definitely helps take the chill off in the evenings. Some people might expect miracles and expect it to turn a winter’s night into a tropical like evening. Obviously it won’t do that but depending on how open you are and if there’s any wind I can definitely say it’s helped us enjoy late evenings when normally we would be inside. For those interested, my energy display says 15p and hour on 1st ring and 40p and hour with both rings on. The 2nd ring is bigger which is why it’s abit more.
This review is for an electrical patio heater.
This is a handsome patio heater that can be used indoors or outdoors, it is ceiling-mounted can be used inside in conservatory, summerhouse or other indoor building and can also be used outside on a patio or garden area that has some form of roofing element such as a pergola.
This heater measures 25 cm in height and 42 cm in diameter, it also has a one m adjustable chain. It has a heat output of 2000 watts.
There are three heating modes, which are low heating at 800 watts, medium heating at 1200 watts and high heating at 2000 watts.
The great thing about this heater is that you can either use it as a heater plus light or you can turn the heating element off and just use the LED light which is very useful to light up a dark patio at night.
Another useful feature is it comes with its own remote control, in using this you’re able to fully operate the patio heater and light.
We have a small yard outside our back door and although this doesn’t actually have any roofing my husband has managed to rig up an overhanging wooden beam and from this he has hung this patio heater. It doesn’t look too bad and the heater works quite well at keeping the small area warm if you wish to sit out there at night.
Realistically this patio heater is never going to heat up a large outside space, but it does keep you warm if you’re sitting directly underneath it and it produces a reasonable amount of light. Therefore in my opinion this heater is everything it is meant to be.
Thank you for reading and I hope you have found my review helpful.
Battery life: 2000W power is quite powerful, especially this year, the fuel is more expensive, and electricity is more cost-effective, which can save costs.
The amount of heat: the heat is good, the door can be very hot in 15 minutes, and it can heat up quickly
Applicable scene: home backyard, small store is very convenient to use,
Product workmanship: The product workmanship is very fine, the quality is very good, the noise is very small, there is basically no noise, and the appearance does not look ugly.
The lamp is really good very high output and three different settings. mine is mounted out of childrens reach. There was a fault/crack in one heating element and the company promptly replaced the whole lamp which was great.
This is practical for indoor and outdoor use and also easy to install because it doesnt require special procedure, no need for an electrician.
It has at the end a hook that can be attached to any bar or strong strap.
It is a medium sized heater, relatively lightweight but I consider it the most important is the fact it doesnt take any floor space and it is also safe to use.
The power can be adjusted, it has 2 modes, one is operating on 1 bulb and the second on 2 bulbs delivering more power. I usually leave it work on full power(At 2000w) to warm up the space properly then reduce the intensity.
Unfortunately the lenght of the cable is very short but I mananged to move the extension closer so I can plug it.
Overall I am happy with how the product works and with how much heat it gives.
I made a good choice buying this.

I purchased it to use inside a large/tall wooden shed/man cave in which I have a large bar and seating area. It was bought to take the chill out of the air in winter. They’re really good, instant maximum heat and the heat output is decent to sit under and around up to 3 or 4 feet away in it’s radius. I was impressed and bought another one to use at the other end of the shed. The light output from them is a warm glow, kinda like old style halogen. They look fantastic in a wooden area. The remote is a handy feature. The supplied fixtures are strong and it was easily fitted/hung. The cable is short but easily plugged into a suitable thick extension lead.
As for longevity we shall see, I guess it all depends on how many times they’re used.
All in all I highly recommend them, they double up as a light source, and as I say they look fantastic in a wooden building.
Pretty well made to be fair, this heater has about 2 feet of headroom to fill below our garden sail. If you are directly beneath it is can keep you pretty toasty in poor weather, but it will not heat the whole area. It is the size of a large cowboy hat so factor that when considering its value to you..
We bought this to mount from the pergola in the garden. We are looking to turn it into a seated area. It is well constructed and very solid. The first thing we noted was how quickly it got hot – it is almost instant! It has two heated settings which can be seen from either one of the rings being set to heat or two of them. The cable is a decent length as well. It also cools down quickly after use. Very pleased with it. I recommend it.
I’ve been using this heater for a month. The quality of this heater is too good. It is light in weight and very easy for me to carry. I can use this heater at home and can also carry it outdoor or wherever I go. The heat output is satisfactory and absolutely safe for kids as well as pets. It is providing 360 heating uniformly in all directions by expanding the heating area.
The heating efficiency is moderately high. The hook design of this heater is very much useful to hang easily at any place. It even worked great outdoor by producing enough warmth.
The output of this heater didn’t get affected outdoor even if it rains or by snowfall. It can be easily operated just by pulling down the rope. By hanging the heater to my roof, it looked so beautiful and is really comfortable and warm. I found it very much useful especially on chilly evenings.
If you’re in need of a hanging heat source for indoors or outdoors (IP24 rated*), that doesn’t require and electrician or plumber to set up, nor take up precious floor space, then this ceiling mounted, hanging, electric heater could just be your answer.
The heater has 2 different heat settings, which can be cycled between by pulling the string/cord a particular number of times based on the heat output you want: 800W (1 pull), 2000W (2 pulls).
Installation requires literally just screwing the heater into the designated ceiling surface, plugging in the 3-pin power plug (1metre cord), et voila, the heater is up and ready, and power on/off is operated via the pull string attached to the heater.
I have installed the heater in a gazebo, and so far so good (haven’t burned down the garden..), and because I already had an extension block up on the surface, the 1m cable wasn’t a problem for me, but plan ahead as it is quite short!
Just what I required, excellent heat output and a handy light.
We live in a static caravan so wanted to heat up lounge quickly on a morning. This was much quicker and warmer than the electric fire with three heat settings it is totally controllable. We have the added advantage that inthe summer we can use it on the patio
As clearly shown in the description this is for the heater lamp and remote control only you will need to have some structure to attach this too. The heater does come with a decent strong metal cable and can be easily attached to a Standalone frame.
Once up and turned on heater will soon take the chill off , to give you a idea of how the heat is spread i attached this to my pool canopy and palced this over a circular table with 4 seats and all 4 adults benefitted from the heat and the light.
The remote control can turn the heater and light off (you have to turn it on physically using the buton on the unit) .
Excellent value for money, very well made and does exactly what it’s intended for as a heater which surprisingly gives of a lot of heat.
We got this to go near our outdoor seating area and with it having an included chain we just had to put a wall bracket up and hang it off and plug into our waterproof outdoor socket.
It’s really easy to use and install and it really does make a difference on them cooler evenings when your sat out in the garden.
We have taken it down when not in use to keep it in good condition but once the great British weather starts to turn again we will be able to use it again.
Overall great heater for your outdoor needs and really pleased with it.
Nice heater light and does the job. Slightly bright could have been a warmer light.
We bought this heater to use it in our gazebo, very pleased with it, using gazebo in winter every day now. With heater inside is very warm. Very stable, has 3 heating settings very useful.
Installed this heater on my outside deck that is under a glass roof
Great heater no problems
I needed a way to heat my freezing cold conservatory without my 2 year old getting burnt. Screwed this into the slanted roof and it heats the table very well. Last year we all ate in the front room (4 of us). Now we can eat in the conservatory. Keeps us all warm while we eat and provides plenty of light too. Xmas dinner is saved!!!
I haven’t had a proper heater before apart from desk ones, so this was a totally new experience for me.
Since getting this I now have the plan/idea to use this in my converted garage that will include a hot tub and play area.
Trying this on, it throws out an incredible amount of heat. I had to turn it off as I was only testing it briefly on a not such a great propping idea at the time.
Build quality looks to be fantastic, completely solid, no loose parts or rattling. Time will tell if the heating elements will last, but as it stands this is a fantastic bit of kit at a great price.
Got this heater to use in the caravan awning at night ETA3 heat settings 800 W 1200 W and 2000 W as a central situated LED light heat up rapidly and I find that the low setting is ideal in the owning control to control output of the two heating element I found the supply lead a little short so an extension lead is required that works well a little expensive at 78.99
A good sized patio heater which you’re able to hang in place. Comes well packaged in a cardboard box with no assembly required. It has a long 1m suspension chain, so you can fit/hang in place. Probably best to attach to a wooden beam or something quite strong so it stays securely in place, without the worry of what it’s hanging from doesn’t break. It heats up quite quickly, giving out an adequate amount of heat. Theres an led lamp as part of its build. It has a basic 3 button remote control to operate, turning it on and off, adjust the heat and also turn the light on and off. Theres 3 set heat modes. The power cable is quite short, meaning you need an extension cable, especially if you’ve set it high up out in the garden. It does seem well built and has a metal guard coving the halogen heating tubes. It does work well, getting warm quite quickly. Handy having the remote and also the built in light. Just would have been better with a longer power cable.
Previously i owned a tall standing patio heater it was great – but i found when sat round a table – half the people would be baking hot and half would be a bit chilly.
When we moved into our new house it has a patio area with a sun roof – this seemed ideal – no massive gas bottle and it was easy to hang on a beam ( please make sure it is safely fitted and secure you wouldnt want it falling on your head) .
It gives off a good amount of heat on the maximum setting but to be honest setting 1 seems to work fine for us so far. Plus as it is electric i am sure it will use a good bit of electricity. The remote is a really handy feature – you can turn it on and off without getting up and so most of the time we put it on for 10 minutes then turn it off for a bit till we get chilly again and then give it another blast to save on the electric.
Really great quality but please ensure it is use and fitted safely .
I have put this on in my conservatory and it is amazing. It was easy to install and came with instructions. The heat output is amazing, and the room was hot within minutes. Amazing produc
The luminaire has a very nice and fashionable design. It is very handy in size and lightweight. The lamp is practical to use and easy to hang. Convenient patch cord length. Heat is radiated immediately after the lamp is turned on. The lamp is made of very high quality and reliable and will last a very long time. Light and warmth are a very good solution for cold winter evenings.
bought this for my garage and its perfect. heat up the garage quickly and keeps it warm. very easy to assemble. will be buying another one for patio.
Even on its lowest setting, which is the one we will use most to keep running costs down, this unit gives a decent amount of heat.
I wanted a hanging type like this one because it is going to be used intermittently over 24 hours to warm the inside of a metal shed that we have converted for the stray cats that visit. We can hang it away from them and secure it so they won’t get near it. Then we can rest easy that they won’t freeze in these winter months.
Now, of course, most people will use these for patios. In that case I will just say that this heater is really nice to look at. It doesn’t look cheap, and as it isn’t your usual freestanding heater it could be a talking point too.
I have an upright version of this type of heater which I purchased some years ago, so I knew that this was going to give a good amount of heat out and it really does! I had a practice with it outside under a gazebo which was never adequately heated by the upright version. This one is able to be hung in the centre (be sure to have something sturdy to secure it to as it is heavy). Being centrally located all of the heat is mostly concentrated where you actually need it and so you do not need to constantly have it on full. There is a remote control for ease of use so that you are not reaching around a hot unit to alter temperatures and switch on and off. I am really pleased with this and am looking forward to when I can use it properly which will probably be in the spring. I am not going to leave it outside and will store it indoors over the winter as I do not want to risk the weather damaging it. I am looking out for a cover which I can use on it once its outside all of the time.
I originally got this so that my mum could sit outside in the winter and fall when my dog has to use the toilet (he’s disabled), but found that with the stability and multi temperature functionality that is is perfect to use in the garage, conservatory or indoors somewhere. The set up was a breeze and the easy to follow instructions were very helpful. At 2000W the heater puts out a good amount of heat and has a few different settings to choose from.
The remote is pretty basic but sometimes thats a good thing. My mum isn’t the most tech savvy individual and with this remote she just instantly knows what too do. You have basic function such as increase the intensity of the heat and turning on the led light. The led light is quite a nice little feature. If you’re sat around this outside at night, not only does the heated bulb give off light but the led light is just a bonus. It’s certainly very helpful coming into these dark night winters.
The cable length isn’t the greatest of lengths, but you could always extend it with common cable. The mounting chain is always of an adequate length so that you can choose the hight from which you want it to dangle. The build quality is pretty good as well so its likely to last you through a handful off tricky winters.
The two halogen heating pipes can increase temperature quickly and resist high temperatures with a long life span for use and environmental protection. With the design you get a 360 all round heating. So everyone sat around this will get nice and toasty. This is ip24 protected so it is good against water spray from any direction. Full submersion or heavy rain might be an issue though. I haven’t fully tested it. I did leave it out in light rain the other day and 2 days on still working.
All in all the price is pretty reasonable considering the other ones I’ve seen. Its build quality is pretty good and the 360 heating design is very versatile for indoors and out.
This heater was very easy to install under out patio parasol using the including mounting chain. The chain has a clip at either end which attach to the top of the heater.
The power lead is very short, only 1 mtr long so you will defintely need an extension lead to power it up.
Once power is on you can control the heat output using the remote control (which takes aaa batteries not included). There are 3 heat settings – outer ring, inner ring, and both rings on. There is also a light button on the remote control which enables a small LED light on the heater. The remote control also allows you to power on/off the unit.
Heat output is very good from the unit allowing us to enjoy drinks in the garden during a cool November lunch time.
At 2000w it outputs some serious heat! It’s the hanging type — not free standing, so just be mindful when ordering.
We’ve just been tying it out in the snow and I can categorically say, this outputs more heat than you’d ever need! Although it can be used indoors, I’d suggest it’s more ‘at home’, outdoors!
It’s well built (made from iron) and feeling every bit as robust as it should for what is essentially and outdoor patio heater. It has a high quality copper wire to ensure no issues with overheating and has a remote that allows you to control the heat output of the two heating elements and functionality of the LED lamp.
It’s quite heavy, at 3kg, I know it doesn’t sound like a lot, but for a lamp it is. Just be sure to mount it with appropriate fixings.
Thank you for reading.
This is easy to set up and warms up quite fast. It gives out a good amount of heat.
I bought this so that my family can sit out and gather at night. It is easy to set up and gives off great heat from the product. It does a good job for this price, recommend the product.
Great heater. We got it for our gazebo. It’s so easy to operate. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the plug in cable is ridiculously short . But it’s a great product overall.
I had initially bought 2 heaters for our Sensory Garden project. And only erected one of the heaters from box a day or two after receiving which is working absolutely fantastic .Although unfortunately I didnt open 2 nd box containing additional heater until 6th of September . And found that the little pack of screws to fasten pole together were missing . I would be most grateful if your good selves would be able to furnish me with a pack of said screws . Many Thanks Johnny
Does its job. Seems quite stable.
Heat effect range is not far and positioning for max effect is difficult because of short cable (its just longer than the heater is tall and starts from the top of the heater).
Although the heaters do what they are meant to, they are labelled as IPX rated with no additional number and I am told shouldn’t really be used in a commercial setting particularly in this litigious world we all live in. The sellers and Amazon should make this absolutely clear in their advertisements when stating waterproof.
Brilliant bit of kit, thought that I might need two for a 4.5×3 gazebo, but pleasantly surprised on how powerful it is
My son bought one and loves his. We did too, so bought our own and at a discount price. A perfect finish to our decking. It really is cosy and cheap to run. Will we ever go back inside.
Good heater easy to build fast delivery i would recommend
We love this patio heater! We use it in the warehouse where can only be warm up a little bit for few days in the summer. Most of the time the warehouse is like freezing cold. We have a few electric oil heaters but the heat they can provide is very limited. Until my friend visit me couple of weeks ago and suggested me to try this “out door” heater. We are very glad to have it! It can cover more space and our warehouse operatives no need to stick on the oil heater any more. We probably need some more of this patio heaters during the winter. Hope this heater can last for a good long time and I will came back for more when winter comes if it does:)
Bought this so we could entertain outdoors once restrictions were lifted. The heat is good and it gives out a fair amount of light so we could stay out far later than we would normally do
Great heater, gives out a nice and even heat outdoors under cover, also acts as a great light for the area
A great buy. It’s been brilliant in our outside shelter and allowed us to sit outside and meet up comfortably with friends and family .
I replaced my gas table heater with this electric heater and I have been very satisfied with the outcome.
The heating element is good enough for my 3X3m gazebo and with the sides down, it creates a pleasant space on a cold evening. The built in light is a great bonus.
I disliked having to extend the cable because obviously one metre from the heat source is not enough when hanging it at the top of a gazebo! However, once I’d got over that then the heater works fine.
Used in under cover area out side , at end of garage.
Lead could do with being longer to enable to go power point.
Easy to fit and move around once you solve the power cable being too short problem Great warmth but only if you are underneath it as a foursome Recommended as value fir money ease of use. If tge cable had been I would have scored it FIVE STARS
Bit worried when it arrived as it was so light but heat is good. Two settings so you don’t need to get too hot.Hangs easily in the gazebo
Got this for our gazebo to help us on those cooler days and chiller evenings while we are social distance socialising. So glad we got.
We have hung from the gazebo roof pole and used the chain and an additional rope to lower to a good level.
It’s great with having kids as it’s completely out of their way, (was considering a floor standing one.)
Great heat and a lovely light on the evenings.
Only issue is the length of wire/plug, just way to short for what it is, but I can live with that as just so grateful for the extra heat.
It looks very nice and is very sturdy but the heat output is not what we expected
The cable is a bit short which I had to replace with a longer cable. The on/off switch stuck and I couldn’t turn it on. I had to dismantle the casing to free it up. Seems to be working fine now though. Nice pleasant heat which doesn’t burn the top of your head. It also doubles up as a light too.
We have been using this over the last few nights of single digit temperatures and it chucks out decent heat (2KW). It also looks really nice and premium, I am really pleased with it. The chain it nice with quick release so it can be put away in bad weather to prolong life. The only complaint is the power cable is way too short, so I also purchased a longer lead and waterproof inline junction box.
Works well for my 3×3 gazebo. Not very effective for an area larger than that. Used for 5.5 hours continuously and didn’t overheat or cut out. Took the chill off on a 8c day. Seems well made and robust. Power lead is shorter than stated.
I was searching around for something for our Gazebo and this does the trick. Comes with a chain so you hang the heater of the Gazebo frame. Looks well make and is solid. So far so good.
Have a 3m by 3m gazebo this hangs beautifully from the roof and is really cosy, you can feel the heat with the sides off and once in it needs turning to the lovely temp. cable is over 1m but not much so used an outdoor extension. Great value though so even adding that in its a great little buy.
This is a fantastic heater. It is value for money and works very well in a gazebo. It’s ideal for the more chilly conditions when the evenings get cooler. It also provides a source of light. Excellent product and is value for money.
Good little heater for garden patio. Heat is well enough for round table of 6 or so
Looks ok and on its full heat setting it’s fairly warm if your stood under it but not as powerful as I’d hoped. Gives off a fair bit of light. Can’t believe that for 60 they couldn’t have supplied it with more than a 1 meter cable…. bear in mind that if the cable touches the top of the heater it will melt as the top gets warm. So I’ve zip tied the cable to the hanging chain.
So in all unless you happen to have a socket around head height then the heater has to be 50 cm from the floor socket unless you hang an extension lead up there too. Bit stupid really!
I expect I’ll get my tools out and replace the cable for a longer one but this will of corse invalidate any warranty. Cheepskates!
Bought to replace a table top gas patio heater. This is much more convenient and gives light, a warm one too. This allows everyone at the table to see all the others, with the gas one placement was always an issue.
Great heater. Looks good. Needs to be on high setting to really feel any heat though. Dont think it is much use in windy conditions. Length of cable is a joke hence dropped 1 star.
Good priced product that works well as advertised. This model is not remote controlled so I can’t comment on this.
The only downside is the short cable, I have replaced mine with a much longer one so that I don’t have to use an extension lead.
It does put out heat but not as much as I thought it is in a 3×3 gazebo. The lamp itself looks a bit skew whiff as the metal grid looks a bit bent. It’s good for the money and safer than gas heater in the gazebo. Would recommmend
Brilliant I expected less as the price was really good really really pleased and would recommend this to anyone
