I ordered this before reading the reviews and then when I did, I panicked and ordered a second tan that looked easier to assemble.
I am completely inept with instructions, but it really all was just common sense and there was one annoying fiddly bit.
The other fan I got was 70 btw and I think I prefer this on, it’s really strong
The mesh cover was abit tricky to assemble, but overall very pleased with my purchase.
Very good fan with serious power, only had it on speed 1 as that’s more than enough for where I can put it, trouble with power is noise though so not ideal in a small area, overall very good
Its one of the best fans I’ve got so far, very powerful compared to other fans. Only thing was there were no assembly instructions, but still it was easy to assemble based on experience and also didn’t need many tools to assembly.
Brilliant fan. Controller isn’t worth the extra money and building it was annoying as the extendable part was somehow pushed into the tube so had to use two lots of tools to pull it out. Luckily I had the tools. Once built it’s worth itsort of.
Very powerful fan, wobbles on number 3 but is well worth the money.
The setting up of the fan is not straight forward. You need to give it a few tries especially the head. The head is an art to set up. This fan requires a set up guide or manual. Not everyone is technical or has technical knowledge.
This fan was a challenge to assemble with the two metal sides that were bent and the plastic ring was fiddly , however i have to say the customer service (Amy at Duronic) was excellent Eager to help and polite and understanding.Without any questions asked sent me two new casings that just arrived and hope should do the trick. I know it was bent rhe casings but the customer service was excellent and very polite .u changed my review as often after sales service isnt the greatest and here they have been excellent Thank you at Amy@duronic.
Very pleased with this fan although my son found it was not that easy to assembly. The instructions where on line and not the right ones. Have not rated the timer function as have not used it. Would recommend the fa
This fan is great, took me about 10 minutes to put together after watching YouTube video. I did think the steel pole was missing but it was inside the bottom plastic pole. There is no instructions in package on how to put it together so I suggest watching a YouTube video. I would purchase this again if needed it’s a great fan.
What a palaver to assemble. First the pole wouldn’t come out. Then I had to ask a neighbour to help putting the ring around the fan cage as I was unable to do it myself.
On a good note now it’s finally set up it works well and I find it quiet compared to some others.
The Duronic pedestal fan arrived with an important part missing, contacted Amazon who quickly put me in touch with Duronic. They were very helpful and the missing part arrived the next day.
The fan performes well, plenty of power and quiet, considering the amount of air it moves.
Apart from it being a pain in the bum to put together it’s a very good product, annoying that the instructions are only available online as it’s not completely clear on how to put it together but other than assembly it works extremely well (only had it 2 days so can’t be sure on reliability)
Item arrived on time, put together without any problems, when putting on the fan guard keep the fan upright and drop the guard into the bottom of the band first and then work your way round doing a little bit on each side as you go, I did use a small pair of grips to hold the guard with one hand while getting it started. Hope this helps, the fan itself has a very heavy wide base, so it wont wobble, on the slowest setting it moves a lot of cool air, runs reasonably quite for the large blades, very pleased with my purchase.
A very efficient and relatively quiet fan. Was so impressed with the original fan I bought that I have just bought a second one. Good looking and sturdy design, excellent remote and on overall good value for money.

Got this as a replacement for an old fan, and the difference was noticeable immediately.
Easy to assemble.
Gives good air flow.
It downside is a slight catching sound. Everything is tight and doesn’t appear to be catching as it spins. It’s not got to the point of throwing it out of the window.
One of the best fans I have come across in a long time. Sturdy base, quiet operation, with added convenience of a remote. Was easy to assemble too. Highly recommended!
The fan appears well made but assembling the metal guards together with that stupid plastic ring was a challenge. The fan is incredibly powerful compared to old same size one so unless you can sleep with the sound of a jet engine running this probably won’t be any good for bedroom / night time use – even on low setting. All the functions seem good, timer, speeds, oscillation, remote etc.

Decided to pay just a little extra this time for something that didn’t look, feel and sound like it was cheap, and would break after 5 minutes Glad to say this is entirely that – it feels solid and looks ok, but above all it’s relatively quiet – even on full power. No worries with this.
The only con was that the assembly was a bit fiddly with the cover. But once assembled I am pretty happy. It pushes so much more air than my old cheap fan, even though they are the same wattage!
The fan arrived i thought it was the same as the one I bought my son a few weeks before and its similar but putting it together took ages due to the plastic ring you have to match up with the fan casing. If it hadn’t been for that (which took an hour off and on due to pure frustration ) it would be perfect!! Hope you have better luck than I did!

Great fan powerful . Only needed to use it on setting 1. during hot weather. I like the fact it has a tilting head. All in all good value for money. Arrived quicker than expected which was a bonus
I have only had this fan for two days. I am delighted with the power of the fan, although, the fan has three- speed settings, I have mostly used it on the first speed and found that quite adequate. The remote allows you to use the fan without having to get up to switch it on or off. The fan helped me to get a good night’s sleep on Fri-Sat 23-24th July 2021. I am about to order another fan for a friend. Best wishes and stay safe.

Lost a star as assembly of this stupid ring to hold the front and back grills together was a major design flaw. Made it much harder to assemble.

Awesome performance, provides quality breeze to help cool and not too loud either.
Great fan so we bought a second one a yr later but the head can become loose if not handled properly
A little noisy though, even on the lowest setting. Looks good and the base is well designed.

A bit of a nightmare to assemble but basically a decent quality product. Some might say that it is a little imposing in a medium size room but it does it’s job well enough.
The fan is easy to use and very quiet, and looks good. Sturdy and does not wobble.

Purchased because of the heatwave and it has done the job I wanted to, on the highest speed it is noisy , the motor case vibrates, luckily the middle speed is sufficient and does the job, assembling is a little tricky but just needs time, the only note I would make is that the black plastic nit that holds the fan on has to come of Anti-Clockwise so you will need to not attempt clockwise , the rubber rim that holds the fans mesh together also needs be done with care
Great fan, a little fiddley when it comes to connecting both fan cages together, but it honestly felt like I had an AC unit in my room, especially during the heat wave. Looking to buy a few more when back in stock.
A great fan making it easier to sleep in what is a hot room! Not too loud and the remote is a nice touch, as have found on the highest setting after a while I want to turn it down.

We’ve only used it one day but so far so good. Assembly was great. In my 70’s and I managed on my own. It is a bit noisy on high setting but very quiet on low. Pushes out a lot of cool air -great!
I’m not a DIY person or assemble things often. The instructions on how to fit the fan to the stand don’t make sense, but I figured it out eventually. I do have a neurodevelopment condition (ADHD) and often have issues if instructions are not clear and straightforward. Apart from that it is a stylish and very efficient fan, does the job well.
The fan is pretty great. Much more powerful than the one it replaced. You can easily feel it across the whole room. It has 3 speeds – High, higher and insane. On the fastest speed it literally blew all the paper out of my printer from across the room. On low it’s actually too cold to sit close to even on a stupidly hot day.
I would not claim to be an expert DIY’er however I do know one end of a screwdriver from another and all I have to say is 5 minutes – that’s how long it took me to set up the second fan I bought (about 9 mins for the first one) – the difference in assembly time for the two fans was down to checking the parts and reading the instructions on the first fan.
Not sure on these types of comments in other reviews –
1) poor instructions – easy enough to read and clear understandable images so no complaints here
2) how fiddly the cover ring is to fit – personally not found to be a problem – the ring has a couple of channels which the back cover can be loosely fitted into and then the front cover can be placed into the front groove and held with one hand whilst you tighten the cover ring screw.
3) Noise of the fan – it is a pedestal fan with a 16 inch 5 blade fan displacing a lot of air – some noise is to be expected and IMHO the noise is negligible. If you are after some Hunt for Red October silent running fan action then spend 20+ times the cost of this fan on a Dyson or a ducted unit removed from the area you want a breeze !
Summary – I think this is a good value fan which works well and am loving the remote control !
First and most importantly this is absolutely NOT a quiet fan despite the five-bladed design. It is significantly louder than our comparably sized Rowenta ‘Turbo Silence’ but, it is also around a third of the price so we obviously weren’t expecting the same quality or performance.
That said, it is very effective at moving a nice wide stream of air without the excessive choppiness or buffeting common with cheaper 3-bladed designs. The lowest setting is also more than adequate for cooling and ensuring air circulation in a a moderately large living room. The base is stable, assembly was straightforward and no more complex than any other fan I’ve owned and the construction seems tough enough for home use.
Do note that on anything above the lowest setting the quality gap becomes more apparent as the poorly balanced blade begins to vibrate, becoming even worse at the highest setting. However, given that the lowest setting is so effective it’s unlikely we’ll ever use it on the higher settings. Acceptable quality, decent performance and a fair price. Not much to argue with.
Love this fan, very cooling in this weather! Very easy to assemble apart from the ring you have to tighten around the outside cage to join together! But must say very impressed with the performance Highly recommend *****
Didn’t even know it had a remote… just saw it was on offer and seemed a good price with good reviews.
It’s pretty easy to fix up. Took about 15 minutes. The remote is a bonus but really useful!
The only gripes are that it’s a little noisy, and rattles a little at high speeds (but I could probably fix that). Other than that, it’s great, and actually looks pretty cool.
Good fan, but not the easiest to put together.
Quote powerful but seems to rattle quite a lot on high speed mode, so wouldn’t be ideal for use over night if you’re a light sleeper. Remote is very handy so it can be controlled without using the buttons (as long as you’re in the same room and have Infrared line of sight obviously) this fan uses a rubber strip that goes around the cage to secure together rather than clips on most fans so putting together or taking apart to clean wouldny ve the easiest task. The rest of the construction is quite straightforward. Overall happy.
The remote is a real nice extra, as I don’t have to walk to the end of the workshop to adjust turn on./ off or right and left sweep.
It is very powerful and kept me cool. With outside temp soaring to 30C and inside my flat roofed workshop probably even higher.
The only announcement was that the unit was either a return or a shop display. I this it was a returned by someone who found it difficult to assemble. One of the attaching screws was already attached, but far to tightly. It took some serious effort to undo
The assembly was a bit awkward.
2) the mesh screen was difficult to attach to the back screen, only because of ill described assembly instructions.
Once I engaged brain, Followed assembly instructions to the letter, it was no trouble.
The speeds were far improved from my old fan.

Absolutely brilliant fan. Bit fiddly to assemble but once done it’s great although bit noisier than expected. Having said that, adjustable height, remote control is terrific. We so much cooler now in this heat. Would recommend.
Very quiet. Unlike traditional fans, the blades on this one is very quiet which is the first time I’ve seen.
It has timer and rotates. Slick design.
I like the round base because it makes it very stable. Other fans have legs and from past experience, they break or causes imbalance. This round base, does an excellent job.

I purchased the Duronic Pedestal fan mainly because it was one of a few that had five blades, most of the three blades don’t seem to produce as good a “breeze” and don’t seem as effective.
I unpacked and put together the fan, which was very straight forward with the included instructions and powered the fan on.
Immediately I wasn’t let down, on full power the fan produced quite a gust and whilst fairly noisy would far outweigh not having any breeze on a hot night.
The remote control works well, but must be pointed straight at the fan (infrared), but works well if you do so.
Overall I’m very happy with the fan and felt the price point was right for something of this quality.
This fan is fantastic I have it onn all day and night settings r great love top speed. So easy to assemble
