Desk was recommended by a friend, I was amazed how small the package was when the desk arrived.

I thought there had been a mixup with the order, unboxing the desk it’s clear a great deal of thought had been put into shipping the desk.

Assembly was very straightforward but would recommend having a helper during assembly as the desk surface when assembled is quite heavy.

Desk works very well, if power is removed from desk it will reset to sitting desk mode. I assume this is some kind of safety reset. If you’re planning on using as a standing desk, make sure the desk can retract safely in the event of a power cut.

I’ve had the desk for a few months and it’s worked perfectly. Highly recommend, very sturdy and lovely finish.

Does what it says on the tin.
When assembling pay attention to the bags the fixings come in, they are labelled and this is referred to in the instructions.
Table top is split in 2 so if you need a single solid surface this is not the product but otherwise it works well!

Great desk for WFH – changes heights quickly and relatively quietly.

I’ve mounted desktop power and USB sockets (see https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09KR7CNMP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s04?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ).

There are some cable clips included but cable ties and other cable management bits would help tidy up the cabling.

All the Allen key sizes required are included in the pack – the only additional tool you might need being a rubber mallet or equivalent to assemble the dowels of the four-piece table top.

Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the build, the finished item looks good and performs really well.

Very strong, stable and has a good height range…

A nice WFH table. Only gave 4 stars because –

    1. A shame that the table top could not be in 3 pieces and not four.
    2. Several of the bolts didn’t line up during assembly.

It is very nice, easy to assemble, sturdy and good looking. The electric parts look a bit cheap but overall it is a good quality and it works great. For how long I don’t know, but it is good and worth the money tbh

Arrived quickly and well packed so no transit damage. Took me a little while to build as I was on my own, but easy to follow instructions and well labelled components. The desk is very sturdy and operates quickly and quietly. This has transformed my homeworking experience. Its quite large which is what I wanted with multiple monitors etc, so check it is the right size for your needs. Highly recommended.

This Egresel Adjustable Standing Desk is working out great. With everyone in the family working from home, we needed some upgrades to our desks. This desk is well built and looks good. It has a lot of the features we wanted – it can easily accommodate two monitors, it has 4 memory presets, and is quiet. Assembly was straightforward, the instructions were good too. Overall a great desk!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersSo I use this desk with my digital piano sat underneath on a keyboard stand. This allows me ample desk space, and the ability to play the keyboard when I want without taking up a tonne of space.

All was good until I unplugged the desk, then plugged it back in, and the desk did some sort of reset calibration (which lowers the height to the default height of “69cm”). I had to dive for the wall outlet before it crushed the top of my 2000 keyboard whilst it was lowering the desk to 69cm. If you’ll be using this desk like me (with something tucked slightly underneath it taller than 69cm), just be aware, if there’s somesort of power cut when you’re not around, it might just damage the item, and the desk itself. Since finding out that the desk does this anoyying reset to default position calibration every time it’s unplugged and plugged in again, I just set it to the height I needed (94cm fyi), and completely unplugged it from the wall outlet. I don’t want to come home to any nasty surprises….

I did not notice any mention of a sensor which stops the desk from the calibration proceedure if an obstable is detect in the manual, and I ain’t tryin’ to risk testing it out.

Other than that, this desk is damn frickin’ sturdy. I’ve got two turntables and a dj mixer on top which I use for scratching (Turntablism – which causes a lot of stress on desks due to the physical maniplation of records), and the desk, fortunately doesn’t wobble about the place. Weight-wise, I’d calculate that I’ve got atleast 25’ish kg on it, for what it’s worth.

So far I’m not having any issues with it. It is hard to find a standing desk that’s 140cm x 60cm so was happy to find this one. It was easy to build, no power drill needed if you don’t have one. Make sure to get the tabletop part right otherwise its impossible to take it apart and remove the wooden screws. I had to reorder because of this. I’m 5 ft 61/2 and the max height is enough for me when standing.

Very impressed with the sturdiness and quality of the desk. Good instructions. Desk top has metal fixings and it was very straightforward to put together using the allen keys which were included. Two of us put it together as the parts were quite heavy. Finished item is very sturdy. So far I’m doing a combination of sitting and standing at the desk and the mechanism is smooth and takes seconds to change.

I don’t usually like split top desks. You can usually feel the seams and if placed poorly on the desk, they can make mouse movements annoying even with a thick mousepad. This desk has 4 splits, but you have some wiggle room when tightening everything together to make the seams fairly non existent. You can still see them, but the are hard to feel through a desk pad. The wood like finish is good and the laminate is textured to help with scratches and durability. Textured is the way to go. I really appreciate the solid cable feed and the finish on this one is nice although I would have preferred the typical black to match the rest of the aesthetic.

The motor is your standard affair. Not the fastest, but reasonably fast to where it will not inhibit your daily use. The motor is also reasonably quiet. You will hear the motor in a quiet room, but but it is not too loud and will not ruin phone calls or anything like that. Plus, how often do you actually raise and lower your desk? On an active day for me, I may raise and lower 10 times.

The desk is sturdy with little forward to back play and even less side to side. Mine is on thick carpet so that may play a part in stability. If you want a smooth up and down experience and a sturdy desk, make sure you are assembling the desk on a hard level floor. I found out through many electric desk assemblies that the surface you build on is important.

The box is quite slim thanks to the slit top design. The box is easy to handle while being quite heavy. Everything inside is well packaged and separated. I had no damaged parts thanks to good box and packaging design. The instructions are clear and the assembly process is typical for a well though out build from a box electric desk.

Other than the grommet not being black, there is not much to dislike about the desk. I would prefer a no split top design but this isn’t bad. I would also prefer solid oak or another solid heavy wood, but you will not see anything like that fore this price. For the price including the current discount, this desk is a good value.
