We’ve played the previous versions of the Far Cry series, they’re always entertaining and well done, this one is better still. The gameplay is good with not very many glitches. The way you can pick the side missions and explore the map then return to the story mode is great. There’s so much enjoyable, playable content in this game it can keep you entertained for hours and hours.
shame they got rid of the perks , and leveling up like before and why get rid of the hunting part to get skins make ammo belts, etc
other than that its quite good
They wasted the villaian. Reducing him to a bit part pler. Story was elongated to a degree that it lost it’s way. I found myself integrating with too many npc guerilla friends. So that they merge and you can’t connect with any of them. The son of the villian was a waste too.
Pros – Fun sandbox with 90hrs of fun.
Good water graphics.
Cool amigo system.
Tanks.
Map size is one of the biggest play areas ever.
Story continuing after credits roll. But it’s more busy work if you done everything already.
Cons – barely any interactions with the main antagonist Antione to connect that have real impact.
Long, needless story.
Too much npc job giving to digest, not enough friendly npc help. We just do everything as usual.
Some parts of the map are lifeless and so vast you will end up missing many secrets and Easter eggs. That otherwise you can find naturally.
I am a big fan of Ubisoft, but they have their fair share of missteps. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is plain boring; Watchdogs: Legion is not much better. So I was more than a little concerned about the latest installment of my favourite IP. At first, it didn’t bode well. It starts much slower than usual, and with only two difficulty settings seemed way too easy. Thankfully things pick up and it becomes more challenging. Still think it would benefit from having at least another, higher difficulty; and make it harder to capture checkpoints and other military posts. However, there are plenty of ways to go looking for trouble and creating the kind of mayhem the series is known for. And the way the developers have fleshed out Castillo’s dictatorship is outstanding. A worthy sequel.
This game has had a lot of criticism from the media and rightly so. Not as engaging as some of the other Far Cry series, but still worth a look. A little bit naive with regards to it’s political theme and some of the story line is very unbelievable, but in the end it’s just a game!
Haven’t played a game like this since AC Valhalla. Brilliant storyline, very immersive, couldn’t help but play for hours at a time. You can tell they use real actors for the voices – some games are cringingly poor with this which spoils things. Big map, variety of customisable weapons and vehicles, plenty of single player game time (many games are very short for single player and more focussed on online/multiplayer these days). Highly recommend.
So much fun for those who enjoy one person game’s.
The person it was purchased for plays it for a couple of hours each evening and enjoys the trials he is challenged by.
Arrived the day after purchase and has got so much further to go even after 4 weeks of playing.
Worth the purchase.
Going off the initial experience leaving the first island (Post Tutorial) it’s a very fun refined experience.
Right off the bat it is still a far cry game. It’s not gonna reinvent the wheel, but the weapon variety (resolver weapons, unique weapons & the weapon customisation) is definitely a nice upgrade from the somewhat boring combat of 5. The return of machete takedowns is also a nice addition, alongside the fact that all takedowns are available from the get go (no skill tree) meaning that from the start there’s no hindrance to going full stealth.
This game feels like an amalgamation of 3 & 5. I can definitely see myself trying to 100% complete it
There’s also no tedious progression bar for each region leading to a “kidnapping” meaning you can do as many side activities as you want before progressing with the main story, which is actually quite fun with the wide variety of collectable weapons, gear and more.
The game only has 1 Coop related achievement aswell which is relatively easy to do through the random invite system. So if you liked the gameplay of 3 & 4 and the look of 5 then you should like this one.
(Also runs quite well on the PS4 slim, no slow down and the detail is still great. The main difference you’ll get with the ps5 version is 60 FPS in comparison to 30 on the PS4 and better draw distance)
Good detail on lots vehicles to drive, lots of explosions a great deal of violence , different mission’s and tasks to do and a good story , I’m enjoying it all very good.
Graphics are good …And the gameplay is better with new features and upgrading etc and this is on the PS4 ..Graphics unreal on the PS5..Well worth buying this Game on either console imo.
What’s not to like, graphics, story, playable just buy it. 10/10

Hubby says it has lots of content. Not his exact words but he is really enjoying playing it.
If you haven’t played any farcry game this isn’t a must. You will pick up the game fairly quickly.
It’s a bit more entertaining than the Sunday omnibus of Corrie.

I’ll keep this short. I haven’t been able to stop playing. Everyday after work, I play more. I cannot put the controller down.
Classic far cry great graphics good game play love i
The game is good. Story line is not bad maybe not as good as the last far cry but good. But the bugs are painfull. More quality control is needed.
