Set up a day before my annual 4th of July celebration, all my guest loved it. Seems to be good quality so far.
Looks really nice in our deep end bench area! We did later add sand weights at the bottom, they are black canvas and barely noticeable.
Easy to assemble. Easy to use. Needs the weighted base or to be bolted down (both easy to do.)
No complaints. Got it during prime days. Durable and very easy to set up. Strongly recommend you get a weight to hold umbrella from tipping over at the base. At least a 100 lbs

We tried to put it together and didn’t really follow the instructions. Follow them-they work. Once it’s together it’s great. You need the weights for the base that are extra but it’s a great deal.
This umbrella is awesome-just remember to buy the base for it and you’ll be all set-it us easy to open and close and it provides a lot of shade. I LOVE IT!!!!

The new model of this is great. The first time I ordered it however I got the old model and it broke when there wasn’t even any wind. And after maybe a week of it being up it was already rusting. The new model is perfect though. It was definitely made a lot stronger with better quality.
This is a very very pretty colour blue. The quality of the umbrella is great. I ordered one that cost 2 as much but it never arrived so this was my second choice. I ‘m glad I had to change my choice.
It keeps the space under it very comfortable even with the wave of 90+ to 100 days we have recently had.
REMEMBER to buy the weights that are necessary to keep it stable. I got the large square ones that it is suggested be filled with sand or water. I used water!
There are two things that keep me from being totally satisfied.
1. When I first looked at the item listing there was this great video by a young man that went through the set-up steps with a fabulous detailed presentation. I thought I should save the link for after it arrive, but I figured it would still be posted so I didn’t. When it arrived, the video had been replaced by a completely useless fancy promotional vid. Should always go with your first thought of caution!
2. We have been experiencing more windy days this summer than I remember in the past and the umbrella does sway a great deal. It reminds me of sails on a clipper ship, ! A 12 mph wind will just have it moving more than I anticipated. The weights work, but I am still not completely comfortable with leaving it open if it’s to windy.
I’m going to try changing its placement to see if it improves my opinion.
So to summarize, it performance is more positive than negative.
My favorite thing about it is how huge is, and that I can twist it to the other side if I want to. We use it on our pool and fix it on the floor so it can resist the wind, it has been awesome for this summer.
The plastic piece has bent on mine so now it will not hold one position.

The umbrella came in a couple of days, free shipping. I’m a person who hates putting things together. And I’m all thumbs. This was easy and took me about 10 minutes once I laid everything out. Keep in mind it doesn’t come with a base and you do need to order one. They provided great customer service.

Easy to put together. Looks smart, good size and seems sturdy. We had to buy the weights and parasol cover separately. However, we expected to be able to turn the parasol to adjust the area of shade (my parents have a similar parasol which does this) but it isn’t possible with this model. Moving the parasol and the weighted base throughout the day isn’t going to be ideal.

Definitely covers the complete stock tank pool. Did not purchase base weights so I simply grabbed a pallet and a few deck screws. Works like a charm. Once I build the deck I’ll just screw it in place. Nice smooth operation.
If it’s pictured with the base, it should be more evident that it’s not included. Very unstable without it and the base costs more than the umbrella. Disappointed.
For 80 you really cant go wrong with this.
Assembly was a doddle, nice clear to read instructions.
Made the mistake of buying without a base, being to cheap I ended up placing concrete slabs over the legs to make it stable.
Overall I’m quite impressed with this, Its being used to keep the sun off the children’s play pit in the garden and being a Cantilever makes so much more room for playing underneath it.

This is a good, solid, well-made patio umbrella. The weight alone tells you that this is not a cheap unit but has been made to a high standard.
Construction is fairly simple and can be done by one person with a bit of balancing and lifting. The base cross-pieces screw in simply with the supplied spanner and is pre-drilled with holes to allow you to fix it to the patio/deck or wherever you decide to locate it. If you don’t want to or are not able to screw the base down into position then you would be well-advised to by some weights to keep the umbrella from falling over – particularly if it gets a bit windy. There’s a certain amount of adjustment available and if you want to be able to use the full potential, weigh the base down if you don’t secure it.
The umbrella is well-made of good fabric and has a simple winding mechanism to open and close the umbrella.
The untested part is how the fabric will fare being exposed to the weather 24/7?
So, all-in-all this is a well-made, good piece of garden furniture and if we have a hot summer again then this will provide an ample amount of shade under which to enjoy the weather.

A large umbrella giving good coverage. The crank works well and it is easy to use. As the description says the weighted base is not included and is an extra 80. We are going to use sandbags as a cheaper option.
The price of this has dropped considerably as when I first looked it was 130 and now it’s down to 89.
It’s reasonable value but if you are going to buy the base as well there are a lot of other umbrellas out there that do include a base so work out at a similar total cost.
One point to note this is very tall when folded up and challenging to put a cover on!
There is a bit of assembly with this, but I found it pretty straight forward, there are four bolts for the base and everything else slots together.
The base is big, much bigger than I’d hoped, but I guess it needs to be secure in strong winds etc, you able to bolt the base to a surface.

Very easy to assemble, I was concerned as I was on my own but managed it without any problems.
The canopy is really large with quality fabric and stitching. The attached velcro straps hold the parasol tight when not in use with a second strap holding the umbrella to the stand. The cantilever mechanism slides easily into position and has a plastic handle to lock the canopy. The canopy is opened and closed with a crank handle
Four bolts connect the stand to the base. As with any parasol of this size it requires solid base weights, I am waiting for some to arrive so used huge concrete slabs that certainly hold it but look unsightly.
I am very pleased with the quality and sturdiness of this patio umbrella.
Big, well made and very capable, but you need to buy a base too or it falls over.
It is a little stiff and heavy to erect each time, Spray dry PTFE from screfix really helps.
This needs a base, either four concrete flagstones, drill it down to your patio or like we did buy a Plastic sectional base and fill it with sand and water to give at least a 100kg base. Cost was 55 extra to use this.
It is big when installed and will certainly shield a small family from U/V when and if the British Summer ever occurs. It also needs a cover to protect it from the wind effect, which should have been included.
I am giving this five stars for the value.
You can pay a lot more than this for a patio umbrella.
It has a large canopy (10feet) and a sturdy nice shaped frame.
The cross section legs are quite rigid and four supplied bolts fix them and a holding bracket in place.
There are holes for ground spikes but you might want to purchase a weight?
I’ve seen an umbrella weight for around 20 I also have some sandbags.
I would have preferred a better base but like I say, you can pay a lot more for extra bells and whistles.
The rest of the umbrella is very good. A strong tubular frame and good cloth parasol.
Ok, so no weights included, which you need to use it else it will simply tip over, but any old paving slabs will work. It has the very standard system when the metal stand has a lip for the slabs to lie on. Simple as any paving stone with a right angle will fit (or but something from a garden centre).
Easy for one person to put together. I needed a step ladder to reach the top bit but it’s simple and aided by some decent instructions. All screws ans bits you need are included.
Overall a decent umbrella for the price. Just know befoe you buy about needing some slabs. You can still assemble before you buy them, but you need to keep it closed!!!!
Wow large parasol which is very big, well made and robust.
Having just bought a small marquee, which I wish I hadn’t bothered with as this parasol hits the mark and covers the areas my marquee did, but so much more convenient in that it can be easily folded and moved to a corner when not in use.
Other than opening it up to check it out I haven’t been able to use it yet as too windy and needed the weights for the base which aren’t included ( needs to be more clear about that) will also need a case for when not in use to keep it in tip top condition
Found a bit difficult to set up and open, but that’s because I have arthritis.

This is an all around made umbrella that is positively worth the cost (99 at season of audit).
There’s some gathering yet once done it’s not difficult to work and can be raised/brought down by anybody. The parasol part is waterproof and gives great sun security. If not for needing to keep everything perfect and not risking it blowing around, you could leave it up short-term or in the downpour without issue.
There’s a four-legged stand that truly needs some weight on it before you can utilize it. I’ve utilize a gazebo weight pack with 15kg of water bottles on the focal shaft, however, it actually needs a touch more, like the exceptional loads (which are costly) or a few 18″ substantial clearing pieces. More is always better, as the parasol is enormous and the breeze truly can move it about.
It’s a decent purchase and made of good quality
I looked at an umbrella similar to this last year and found the price prohibitive. It was hundreds of pounds. When I was offered this through the Vine programme, it was more expensive than the current 99, which I consider a bargain. Please bear in mind that you will need weights for the base if there’s any breeze. It’s very stable, but it’s huge. The umbrella section is around 10feet and it stands over 7 feet in height.
It comes with instructions which are easy to follow and the metal seems well finished off. There are no rough edges or dents. The cantilever mechanism is amazing. I sprayed it with a small squirt of silicon spray which I find helps keep moisture and dust out and things work smoothly. The same spray I use on the hinges and locks of double glazed windows. The canvas fabric seems very strong and again it’s perfectly made.
It’s an outstanding item, particularly at this price and I’m delighted. Happy to recommend.
This is a fantastic cantilever parasol. It is really great with its coverage and is so easy to open and manuvre into position. Folding away is a doddle. You really can’t go wrong with this. I suppose the only other consideration is the colour choice.
The materials are excellent, and the crank that you use to raise and lower is very strong and easy to operate. Overall, I like this a lot.
(As with all of these, they don’t come with a base; purchase that separately. I have a bass that is four large plastic containers that you fill at home with either water or sand. Very effective. You could also use flag-stones.)

This parasol is so much bette than our old one as the material used is so much thicker.
The base goes together very easily with 4 screws and washers, the upright has extra corner bracing and the spines on the umbrella itself are very sturdy.
It took around 10minutes for myself to set up and it was so simple, the added centre locating pin when expanding helps it locate correctly and it has and added velcro strap to stop it blowing around.
Note – you will need base weights as with all parasols like this. We have a set with our old parasol I am going to use.

10 ft is quite a large area of shade when the sun is out and the temperature is high, this umbrella is large enough too cover a good set of table and chairs when having a bbq in the garden, or any seating area
The frame is well manufactured and all the adjustable parts look solid and durable
It was very easy to assemble and operate after reading the instructions, the only problem is the stability! You definitely need weights on the base ( not included or mentioned ) but You don’t need to buy anything special, I will probably get 4 concrete slabs and lay on the base to stop it going over
The canvas seems to have a good UPF 50+ protection from the sun, and also waterproof
I have assembled it in the garden and it works fine , it was a bit windy so definitely need the weight on the base

For me I put all this together all by myself a woman. The instructions did come with it but I found the video even more helpful confirming that I read the instructions correctly.
Yes once the umbrella attached is heavy to carry. But I put it in its side to connect the two pieces together and then kind of just pushed it out to the balcony.
Once I filled the water in each base I just rolled them out.

That aside, this parasol is pretty good really. Easy enough to assemble, I followed the simple instructions and did it by myself so it can’t be that hard!
Operation is simple enough too. You can adjust the slider arm on the main upright pole to adjust the height and angle of it, and the parasol itself is wound in & out using a windy handle which makes it quite easy to operate on your own. I did find that parasol canopy sometimes pressed against the upright pole depending on how you set it, but hopefully that won’t cause too much trouble during use.
The canopy is quite large too, so very useful in the corner of our garden where we have a seating area sun-trap in the summer, and this will keep us nicely shaded.
Overall for the cost of less than 130 at the time of this review it’s a good price and a good parasol comparing it to others on the market. Overall rather pleased with it! Bring on the summer!
It is a really nice umbrella it provides a lot of shade when opened up however it was a little difficult for me to put together because it came with no instructions. Other than that I think it’s a very nice umbrella
It’s sturdy and it is easy to assemble. The only thing I don’t like very much is moving the umbrella up and down. It is not very smooth, a little bit of a struggle.
A few reviews mention the need to buy the additional base. I opted to sink a slightly smaller diameter pole in the ground several feet down, repack the soil and then slide the slightly larger diameter umbrella base over it for upright support. I suppose you could also add some cement in the hole for extra stability similar to a fence post. Worked great for me. Your results, could, of course, be different depending on soil conditions at your home.
It needs extra weights added, and yes it stays in the wind. So that needs securing too. But it creates shade that I was looking for and I was outside more often this summer.

Purchased to provide shade on my back patio. Does that, while being very cute and withstanding some of these thunderstorms we’ve been having. I close the umbrella and all is fine.

Love the sun umbrella and have used it every day the last couple months. Careful not to crank open too much as it puts a lot of pressure on the mechanisms/nylon rope.. Winds over 15 mph may become an issue but that’s the case for all umbrellas. I did not use weights and elected to mount the to the wood deck with the predrilled holes in the baseit ain’t tippin ove
Great product however, it does not come with the weighted base which is absolutely necessary.
The umbrella is a very good product. The base is not stable and needs to be weighed down or have heavy large squares put in between to base poles. A set of directions and sizes for those weighted plates would be helpful.
Cons: Here is the problem that loses it a star…the actual umbrella canopy only hangs from a couple of pins. It is strong enough, and probably won’t fall down, but the wind just waves it around like a flag. Watch my review video.
Note: We are using it on a wooden deck that I am willing to drill into so I was pleasantly surprised to see holes in the stand and I thought to run lag bolts through to the wood deck. I didn’t need to use a sand weight!
I am only giving it 4 stars. I absolutley love this umbrella. I am however, disappointed that I had to buy the extra pieces. It should ALL be included. We had to wait to receive the rest, but it’s up now and it’s gorgeous.
It wasn’t difficult to assemble, but put two people on the job. It’s easy to operate. The canopy is large enough to shade a large area. I recommend getting a cover if you’re living with any extremes in weather – hello Northeast with scorching summer sun and torrential downpours on many an afternoon.
Only sturdy if you buy the base. Without the base it just tips over. This umbrella should have a package deal that includes the base. A great price for the actual umbrella but the base price is priced way to high. I brought two umbrellas and to pay more for the base is not right!!
This umbrella does not come with a base. The instructions say that the base is required for use. The umbrella is great but I have to wait to use it until the base comes in which is annoying.
I bought this because of the good reviews and the low price. So far we are happy with it. Much more shade space than our old center-post patio umbrella. The post can stand at the quiet corner and won’t block our garden view anymore. The post and ribs are solid and robust which are kind of heavy to assemble but hope it can last longer than my old umbrella. The crank is very smooth to open and close. Very easy to tilt the umbrella against the sun which will provide more shade. Please also note the base is not included!!!
Overall ok and satisfied. Not sure if I am a cantilever umbrella fan. Definitely need weights on it, very top heavy when opened, wind got ours once already and it wasn’t even a heavy wind. Not a fan of how the top umbrella part can just move around cause that moves your shade a bit. A bit of a pain to maneuver around but assembly was easy and video helped. Fabric seems to be pretty decent. Going to keep for now to see how it works out.
When I received my patio umbrella; I emailed Fruiteam to ask if I was missing a part for my umbrella. I was asked to send a picture for the area in question. I sent the picture and it was determined I was missing a part, which the Fruiteam quickly corrected!
I love my umbrella. It keeps the hot Arizona sun off the artificial turf I laid for my small dogs to have a place to do their business. The sun here heats most surfaces to burning temperatures in the summer months that would seriously injure my little fur babies paws, so the umbrella helps keep the direct sun off their area! I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase as well as the seller’s quick response to my problem!
I know you get what you pay for, I like it but it doesn’t take much of a breeze to move the umbrella around. May try some bungy cords. The base definitely needs weighted down or braced but I knew that going in. Overall I’m happy but it works a lot better on a very calm day.
The umbrella stand itself is sturdy, however, the wind tends to go under the umbrella part, pull up on it, making the angle more vertical than horizontal. It twists and moves cockeyed so the shade shifts with the wind.
sometimes it doesnt want to close all the way, ill twist it the way it instructs to close but then itll start to open again! when it does decide to work properly, it looks lovely. wish it came with a stand, youll for sure need to purchase one separately!
That aside, the ribs appear sturdy and it’s a good looking umbrella. I like the little touch of adding Velcro tipped straps to secure the fabric when closed.
The base isn’t heavy enough to use on cement/pavement. Bought this with the intention of putting it on our concrete patio. The base wasn’t enough to hold it up so we ended up bolting it straight into the concrete…
This seller provides fast shipment even I am not a primary member. I received the patio umbrella two weeks ago. The patio umbrella is very easy to assemble, but it is heavy. It is better two people assemble it together. Since it was heavy, the quality is good enough when it is windy day. In the past two weeks, there was high temperature in couple days, this patio umbrella can provide good UV protection. Evan with high temperature days, you still can get a cool area to rest outside. I recommend purchasing this patio umbrella for your back yard.
It took less then 10 minutes to assemble and install. It requires a weighted umbrella base (not included) and I opted for the plastic sand/ water boxes, but cement blocks would work well too. The metal frame feels durable but the hand crank that allows you to open and close the umbrella is made of plastic, it works well but doesn’t seem to be very sturdy. The fabric is not very strong and I wouldn’t trust this umbrella in the wind. So far very happy with my purchase, it is worth the money.
