Great – it withstood rain and wind well and I am so grateful it comes with a very sturdy base! Also it looks super cute and covers a lot of area!
I love this umbrella. Every time some sees it open, they are amazed at the sized. The fact that you can change the angle of it, is amazing and super helpful. Money well spent. FYI The base does show up an entire week before the umbrella and pole.
Package came without instructions, frustrated with need to assemble and disassemble without them. Good product overall. Very sturdy.
FedEx ground shipment brought one box of a 2 box set a week or better before the second box arrived.
We got this to shade our swim spa. The base is a little bulky but I like that it is easy to put up and down and seems to handle the breeze OK.

It was relatively easy to assemble. It works for the purpose; hopefully, it will last for some years.
We ordered the big beautiful umbrella to put out at our pool. We have really enjoyed it! It was not difficult to put together and is easy to use. It was a great purchase!

Der Schirm wurde innerhalb einer Woche geliefert, der Fu war bereits nach zwei Tagen da. Aufbau funktionierte reibungslos und das Endergebnis gefllt. Sieht “untenrum” schon schner aus als mit Waschbetonplatten. Hoffe, er hlt mindestens so lange wie unser alter Baumarktschirm.

Update: Changed from 3 to 5 stars. The seller’s customer service is excellent. They reached out and offered to fix the bracket or to ship a new base if the base did not hold up. Very appreciative that they rectified the situation.
I also really like that the base has wheels so you can move this if you need to.

Cons: Umbrella material is thin. This tells me it will wear out early and likely the color will fade. The top of the umbrella has a breather flap. It’s too small so sometimes falls into the inside, revealing sunlight. I imagine this umbrella will last 5 years tops.
Our order got totally messed up however the company straightened it out. We were very pleased with very happy. I would definitely recommend the product and the company.
I bought this umbrella few years ago and it has held up and is awesome!! I just bought another one to put in another part of our yard. Highly recommend!!
This umbrella is absolutely beautiful and ignore the reports of toppling over! As long as you put 120kgs of sand and fill with water nothing will topple this umbrella over! If you use less then it WILL topple over. It is an extremely easy assembly that took 30 minutes. Buy it with confidence it’s the best!

Sunny & GP were very helpful when I enquired about a part-package of an order that did not arrive at the same time as the main item. They responded immediately and resolved the situation with a second courier straight away. The cantilever brolly is of excellent quality and their video on assembly instructions was extremely helpful. Good service, good quality.
After searching for a cantilever umbrella and only finding cheap and flimsy ones locally I decided to bite the bullet on this one. Really happy with the quality, super sturdy and easy enough to operate, is a bit of a challenge for my partner but once she gets the hang of it I’m sure it’ll be fine. Had an issue with the first base leaking when I filled it with water but after sending a video to the supplier a new one was in the post with no hassle. This is definitely worth the extra money over the more generic style ones, plus it’s easy to move with the wheels incorporated into the base rather than weights resting on a metal frame.
Unlike so many other cantilever parasols that require separate weights to be humped into place on the parasol feet, this one has a large plastic tank that can be filled with water once positioned. And there are wheels at the back that make repositioning simple.
The canopy is made out of heavy duty gaberdine that is almost completely opaque to the sun’s rays.
I’ve used the parasol for nearly two weeks and am absolutely delighted with its effectiveness and simplicity of use. And it looks so elegant. A little pricey, but worth every penny!
Assembly. In general, it is straight forward. I do suggest using non-permanent Locktite on the threads to make sure they do not back off. The final part assembling by putting the umbrella into the base is a 2 man job. It is friggen heavy and awkward. I used a heavy duty ladder to balance the umbrella while slipping the assembly into the base. I do not recommend this!
Also, I suggest you tighten all the bolts including the ones from the factory. 1 star removed because the main pin holding the umbrella to the cantilever arm (right at the top of the umbrella) came apart after 5 days. Fortunately, the string in the assembly was strong enough not to break. I found the screw on the ground and the pin in the pool. I was able to put it back together and used Locktite to make sure it doesn’t back off again.
Again, I recommend the product but check those screws and bolts.
After a mouse chewed through our first umbrella cover whilst in winter storage we purchased this new one as we love the versatility of these cantilever umbrellas

Worth every penny
Der Aufbau an sich war kein groes Problem. Die bebilderte Anleitung ist kurz gehalten, zeigt aber gut die einzelnen Schritte. Es sind nur wenige Schrauben zu befestigen, was sich mit dem mitgelieferten Werkzeug einfach gestaltet. Die Besonderheit dieses Schirms ist, dass der erforderliche Fu, der bei den Top Herstellern extra gekauft werden mu und dort ca. 280 kostet, hier gleich mit dabei ist. Ebenfalls anders, als bei anderen Herstellern, ist, dass eine Verwendung von Gehwegplatten als Gewicht, nicht mglich ist.
Der Fu muss mit >= 120kg Sand oder Kies und Wasser gefllt werden. Ich habe 75kg Spielsand verwendet und das Einfllen und Einsplen war das zeitaufwndigste am Aufbau. Hier kommt auch der einzige echte Kritikpunkt: Laut Anleitung mssen die beiden Verschluffnungen mit den mitgelieferten Drehverschlssen abgedichtet werden. DAs war ab einem gewissen Punk von Hand nicht mehr zu bewerkstelligen. Ich konnte diesen Punkt nur unter vorsichtiger Zuhilfenahme einer Rohrzange abschlieen, die aber die Handgriffe dieser Verschlsse auch nicht richtig greifen kann.
Vorschlag an den Hersteller: Hilfreich knnte ein in Kunststoff ausgeformter 6-Kantansatz sein, den man z.B. mit einem 20er Schlssel oder einem Englnder gut greifen knnte.
Der Arbeitsschritt, bei dem das Standrohr in den Stnder eingefhrt wird, sollte man am besten zu zweit machen.
Nach Abschlu des Aufbaus lt sich der Schirm gut ber die Kurbel ffnen und steht auch bei norddeutschem Wind extrem stabil. Da rhrt sich auch bei einer Be nichts.
Sogar fast zu stabil: Das Verndern der Standposition ist durch das Gewicht des Fues alleine kaum zu machen. Da wre es gut, wenn noch irgendeine Form von Stange, die als Hebel fungieren knnte, im Fu integriert wre.
Good quality garden parasol, arrived when it should have, easy to put together and good quality. The swivel feature allowed me to easily move the coverage based on the sun’s position without having to move the entire setup. I can spend lots of time on the deck enjoying sunshine with my family. It may take two people to set it up for the first time, because of the size. That’s acceptable

Quite straight forward to assemble though reckon 2 people ideal when positioning the arm into base.
Recommend only part filling base when working out where to position it. We found even a relatively light wind was enough to start lifting the base when it was half full with gravel – we ended up using 6 large bags of gravel and now have good stability. Now in place we’re trying to avoid moving it as heavy.
The base is big so we have disguised it with a table that sits over it and pots.
Slight annoyance is that Grand Patio included information about registering the product on their website but the site can’t be found even by scanning the q code provided.
Overall very happy with the shade.
1. This is an 11′ umbrella, think of it as a sail. Any wind will apply force to the stand. If you did not purchase the base, and fill it with 200+ lbs. of gravel/sand/water, it will tip over. Purchase the umbrella with the base!
2. Some people complained about the base leaking, I would suggest using just gravel/sand, not water. There are 2 openings to add gravel/sand/water. Use the cone shaped cover (it covers where the stand bolts into the base) as a funnel. Pour in the gravel/sand, stopping to distribute the gravel/sand inside the base with your hand. Add a 50 lb. bag of gravel/sand to each side, and then pick up the base on the wheel side allowing the gravel/sand to slide into the “nose” of the base. Add another 50 lb. bag of gravel/sand through each opening. Again stopping to distribute the sand inside the base with your hand. Vacuum the opening thoroughly as the caps will cross thread easily.
3. The video shows that the assembled umbrella can be rolled around easily: only if the base is empty. Give careful consideration to where you want the umbrella to be. It can be moved, but not easily, and I would only move it by the base. There is a grab area on “nose of the base, I only use that.
4. The umbrella will sway in the wind. This is not a parasol umbrella with a rigid shaft running all the way up. A cantilever umbrella needs to articulate in order to open, and be adjusted. If the wind is severe enough to be a problem, you wouldn’t have a regular/parasol umbrella up either.
The umbrella assembles easily, there were no broken, or missing parts. One of the nice things about this umbrella is that the base is narrow, and somewhat mobile. Most cantilever umbrella bases are 36” or more per side, and I have not seen any others that are mobile.
The only minus is the caps on the base easily cross threading.
I have no problem recommending this product.

I’m delayed in my feedback but I have good news. It is positive feedback.
Within 2 days of my reporting the issue to the seller they asked me for a picture of the damaged product and promptly sent me a replacement base that also included a supplemental sandbag weight kit. I have to say that I am very pleased with this seller and would absolutely recommend them and would do business with them again.
The only thing I’d add about the product that I would suggest that you drain at least 25% of the water before you move the unit to another location since the posts that hold the wheels may puncture the plastic base rendering water retention impossible. You may need some sort of pump to suck the water out but you can get hand vacuums pretty cheep compared to the cost of replacing this unit if you are out of warranty. Otherwise this is a very nice product and after 3 or so years we will probably buy another when the extra UV coatings we have added to the product break down the fabric loses its ability to hold up.
This looks like it was made with no quality spared. When you open it up and look at the inside you truly see how beautifully it’s made. The levers and slide work smoothly. We have the 11′ and it’s nice and big. You MUST add water and sand to the base to have enough weight to support this big umbrella.
