This is the 4th “low price” projector I have had. I use them for all my video display needs like, tv, pc and gaming. My usual usage is about 16 hours a day (I know, but I don’t get out much) As for this Projector, longevity aside, it has a fantastically bright and vivid picture with quite a few user defined properties. The fan is, comparative to others I have had, not loud or distracting. As for the sound, I use a small sound system. The set up can be as simple as connecting the mains, an input device and turning the unit on. I have not used the Bluetooth nor the mirroring ability as they are not needed for my purposes. To be honest, I don’t really understand why anyone would pay oodles of pounds on a large screen tv when you can connect just about any device into this and enjoy (for me from a throw distance of about 7feet a 80 inch picture of HD fantasticness. I am delighted with this projector. It does everything I need it to do (TV PC DVD and Xbox) If this is your first dip into projectors do not be afeared. Go boldly and give it a try.
So my TV stopped working 2 weeks before pay day so I thought I would buy a cheap projector to get me through until I can buy a new 50″ TV.
But now I’ve changed my mind, I’m going to stick with the projector. It perfomes superbly. The picture quality is excellent. Setup is easy and the projector looks well built. I’m sat directly below the projector and the fan noise is acceptable. The only thing that lets it down is the sound quality, but I expected that.
Yes, the picture quality on a HD TV will be better, but I can’t justify spending 10x more on a TV than I did on the projector. If you have been thinking of trying a projector I would highly recommend it. (the video does not do the projector justice. I’m streaming and I have the picture quality set to standard to save data).

Bought this especially to show a rolling 30 minute slide show at a funeral wake. It was perfect for the job, performed well in a normally lit restaurant showing good photos and some very old poor quality photos projected to large image on the wall. The whole thing went down very well. This projector great to use in the home to view photos and TV etc.
Suggested to use hdmi for best picture experience.
This is a great little machine that creates a sharp image with little to go wrong. I’ve connected it to a speaker beneath the screen and gives a flavour of cinema that no large screen TV can produce. Well worth the investment for its quality. The after-sale service is superb, responding to my query about lens cleaning within an hour (bear in mind that China is 12 hours ahead of us in time though!) There is no downside to this projector as far as I’m concerned, and though I didn’t intend to spend so much on buying a projector, I’m pleased I did. It’s Bluetooth functionality let’s you connect device to it, such as a mobile phone or speakers. Two HDMI sockets allow you to keep connections to tv, computer or DVD player without constantly plugging and unplugging them. I’m delighted I chose this projector and highly recommend it. I thought the comments others were giving it was just hype, but it really is as good as it’s reputation.
Provides a good picture and is fairly easy to use…would have expected a carry case for the price.. and the noise from the fan can be irritating when watching a long movie.
I did notice the projector doesn’t screw 100% tightly onto my tripod so it’s a little loose for some reason, but nothing to worry about, it’s great that it allows tripod use.
One notable downside – and this is written in the product instructions – is that it won’t cast from Netflix/Amazon Prime etc. from iPhone/iPad *even with a lighting to HDMI cable* (iOS apps do not allow this whatsoever). Basically it’ll work with a lighting to HDMI cable to mirror the phone screen on the projector, but it gets blocked once you try watch something on one of those streaming services, so just something to be aware of if you did want to connect your phone to it. I connected the projector to my laptop via HDMI cable in the end to use Netflix, but also the Fire Stick works on it too so if you can connect the projector to those you’re good to go. Was a little disappointed about the phone issue at first but it was my own error for not being aware of those restrictions prior!
Overall 100% recommend, great option if you don’t want or need a new TV, or if you just wanted to set up a little home cinema.
Bought this as a Christmas (2021) present for a 19yr old. I did a lot of background checking on Lumens, what works with an apple phone and a laptop and this one came up in the midrange price band. For its price the quality of the projection is great. 19yr old very happy with its quality, surprisingly so! They couldn’t believe how good it is as I know given the choice they’d have gone for a higher priced one- that wasn’t an option! I bought a chrome cast to go with this, as that then allows Netflix to be streamed through an iPhone to this. The sound quality is ok, you may need a better portable speaker so it’s less ‘ muffled’ but you absolutely don’t need one. This has only been tried in a darkened room which has blackout blinds, so far, so I can’t comment on what it looks like when used in the day. Came well packaged and arrived quickly
At the price it is at currently, this 1080p projector is hard to beat. A pretty solid performing projecto
Really bright and clear projector. Obviously works better in a dark room but unlike other projectors I’ve had it can be watched in a sunlit room too. Quiet motor and easy to set up. Really impressed with the filter to stop dust particles entering the machine. Would definitely recommend this product.
This seems to be great visual quality as well as great sound quality. Marked it down slightly because of the size, it’s massive and bulky. I wouldn’t really call it portable
Wow! What a great bit of kit this is for the price and the difference in quality between my mini projector native 720p to this?! Oh boy you are going to enjoy this on movie nights trust me!! 🙂 Nice bright rich/crisp colours, deep blacks (I have lost some quality as was projected on my white walls for testing until my screen arrives!) Decent sound from the on board sound of the unit all be it a bit tinny (never going to sound as good as through a stereo system/sound bar to get that full bass for full on cinema experience). Unit itself is quite big as you can see with remotes on top pic, right is a firestick remote for comparison. I am really pleased with this purchase and fully recommend it! 🙂
Great picture, even when lights are on (see second picture) and sound quality really good, the video has sound at about 50%.
Has Bluetooth and Wi-fi screen sharing options which both work really well. Also has 2 hdmi inputs and 2 usb, 1 av and also has audio output for speakers or headphones
We wanted to be able to use this outside in the evenings but unfortunately it is not bright enough until it is really quite dark, however this was always likely due to the price…..higher price = better quality in light environments I think.
All round, very good for the price.
We have a maxi drop down screen installed in our flat, and we tried sooo many projectors so far, with mixed success, but always with an average to below average result. We never wanted to overspend on a projector, so I guess we knew that was the quality we could get.
When our last projector blew its bulb few days ago, we decided to go for this Groview model – the affordable price plus the features and descriptions sounded solid enough to be worth a bet… and it did not let us down! It’s by far the best product you could get at this price range, and with a good screen background you should not look further!
We have an external sound bar, so we cannot comment on the audio system, and our settings are indoor, but it is very bright and the picture is neat!
Sound first class,remote is a bonus.
Used mainly for my PELETON CLASSES, projecting onto a white blackout blind ,dont see need for dedicated screen.80 inch and picture amazing considering price, bright and sharp, plenty of adjustment in menu for picture and sound.only issue ive had was wifi dropped occassionaly,more down to my internet provider. Can highly recommend.
We bought the Groview projector to watch the Euros football tournament on, as well as to have movie nights with the kids. It was so easy to set up and the picture quality is Impressive ! We connected it to an external Bluetooth sound system, which was really easy to do, however it does have its own internal speaker which was okay as well. So far we’ve used it to watch the Euros, Wimbledon, le Tour de France, Movies and my older lads have even used it with their PlayStation 4! For the price we highly recommend this product.
No it’s not 4K, no it doesn’t come with amazing speakers, BUT it also doesn’t come with a 500-1000 price tag.
I’ve actually got it set up in the Wendy house for my niece, she can plug her tablet in no problem and watches all the Disney films.

Sound quality from the in-built speakers is very good. No need for me, to attach an external sound bar but you can if you wish. It’s only now as I write this that I’ve realised, after over a fortnight of use that I haven’t noticed any fan noise at all. Also,to the touch, it does not get too hot either.
In conclusion, this is a great projector and easy to use in my opinion. I definitely got more than I paid for. Very highly recommended.
Eventually managed to find powerful projector which has 5G wifi connection.
Absolutely brilliant, very easy to set up wifi connection, no need to disable 5G and choose 2.4ghz anymore .
It has incredible 8000 lumen power which makes it visible on day time, no need to make room darker as all viable due to powerful light.
On back it also has HDMI, USB, VGA connections , makes possible to connect with many different equipments.
Tv stick can play directly from HDMI port which fully supported.
Overall nice powerful projector which has 5G wifi connection. So far very happy with performance. Have a look to my pictures to see real size hope it will be helpful to decide if it’s suitable for personal needs or not.
Mainly I bought this for Movie and game nights. As a family we love nothing more than chilling out on a Friday and Saturday night watching a few movies or playing the PS5. This has upped our game massively. This projector provides a nice clear Hd image and is perfect for gaming and movies.
I also want to use this projector to watch the football because I love the football on the big screen. I have my Firestick connected to this and the projected image is truly brilliant and it makes watching the football even more enjoyable.
You can also use you mobile phone via the wireless connection and this is very easy to set up and use.
The built in speakers are very adequate and provide a nice rich balanced sound.
Overall I am delighted with this projector and for the following reasons I am going to rate it 5 stars:
