This is a well-made and comfortable Oculus head strap that fits really well. All the components come nicely packaged in a presentable box. The frame of the strap is made with a thick and durable plastic that should last. It also has a thick PU padding inside that is very comfortable to wear. It comes with good installation instructions so it’s very quick to install the strap, taking me about 5 minutes to do so. It comes with a USB-C cable that plugs right into the Oculus. It’s important to note this set does not include the power bank, which needs to be added to get the additional battery life. The size of the power bank will determine the extra runtime.
One of the best things about this strap is that it does a great job of distributing the weight equally from the front and back of the head. The original strap puts way too much weight pressure on the front so this is a major upgrade for that. The adjustable wheel on the back is very effective and smoothly adjusts the strap for a good custom fit. I wear glasses, so I start out looser to strap in and then use the wheel for a secure fit that also eliminates any light from seeping in, especially at the bottom which can be an issue with other straps. Overall, this strap is a great upgrade for any Oculus user. Full marks from me!
Great headset for the price. This is a clear improvement on the basic head straps that come with the Oculus Quest 2. I like the option of having battery pack attached to it. Couple drawbacks: battery holder mount moves a lot when you play action games. Also, after playing for some times, the back side leather hurts. It would be better if the leather cusion shapes as an oval for ergonomics.
This is more worth the money compared to the official oculus elite strap and it comes with more features and more comfort than the Oculus elite strap.
If you own a Quest 2, you probably know how uncomfortable the factory strap is. It is basically a torture device. This strap while greatly improved the comfortability. It is not perfect, but it is the most comfortable strap I tried so far. I don’t think it is the strap’s fault. I think it has a lot to do with the weight and design of the Quest 2. The strap makes the Quest playable for hours now before the pain sets in. I wouldn’t be able to play for 5 minutes with the factory strap. The strap is easily adjustable, much easier than the stock strap, and the another after market strap I had. The other strap had the battery pack on the back instead of the top. This strap feels better with the battery on top, and the ability to have both the battery pack and the PC cord connected is not something you will find often with other straps. This feature is really awesome. Without it, I was able to play Alyx for about 2 to 3 hours at a time. With the battery pack, it lasts at the least five hours. It outlasts me every time. The bottom line is that this is the best strap I have so far. I highly recommend it.
Just buy it! This should be what you get from the factory. It’s so comfortable and takes all the weight of the VR headset off of your face. I feel like I can wear my Oculus all day.
Trs confortable, et le fait d’avoir le batterie pack sur la tte et un peu vers l’arrire fait un contrepoids au casque. Mme sans batterie pack, le confort est trs augmenter. Sinon le masque te sers sur le visage. l c’est soutenue par le front. l’ajustement avec une poinge l’arrire rend a beaucoup plus facile pour passer d’un adulte un enfant et vice et versa. Je le recommande.
I was a little sceptical about purchasing this head strap because of the price but to my surprise the quality and comfort of this head strap is amazing, i would definitely recommend this product to anyone in the marker for one

Pros of this product are high it’s easier to adjust for different heads and feels snug once you click it in the attachment ontop for a portable charger is a big help specially as the oculus only has 2 hours of battery life and when your in the middle of a epic quest or slashing blocks it comes in handy to keep you going! Also big bonus comes with a small cable that fits perfectly with a small strap to stop it waving about would recommend this product to those wishing to extend play time as its a lot more comfortable and stop getting your face feeling so squished! 😀 happy days comfortable and well worth the money

Really liked the look of the headset. Really liked that it had a little battery holder I could put my battery that I already own into it. The usb c cable with the 90 degree end was a very nice bonus. However, both rubberized pads that are for each side of the battery holder were unattached and stuck to the main part of the headset and one of the pieces of fake leather. I peeled them off and tried to stick them back where they go which is holding ok but the adhesive is stuck on the faux leather and headset side arm thing. Easily a 5 star product but the glue mess everywhere took that away. As for the actual comfort of the headset, it is absolutely phenomenal. What is interesting is that my brother got an official elite strap the same day I got this so we compared them side by side. He told me to order one of these for him and he will use his more expensive elite strap as a “crappy” backup. Comfort is an easy 5 stars.
My Quest 2 Elite Strap with Battery strap broke again and is back to FB for replacement; second time. So now that I am headstrapless I went searching for a head strap that can actually hold a battery pack that doesn’t use a bunch of velcro straps that looks like Mcgiver had set up and I found this head strap after a long and hard search. I love the fact that the soap-like dish that arcs over your head holds the battery pack without extra velcro strip; you can move this arc towards the back of your head to give your head a nice balance. I also love the fact that there is no weight AGAINST your face but this is all adjustable with the knob at the back to tighten it on your face but not AGAINST your face; in other words you don’t feel the weight of Quest against your face. This is the same as my Playstation VR headset! I almost feel like I am now playing with the Quest 3 feeling that everything is clearer, sharper and more dynamic in the sense that the VR is now weightless and you are just peering into the VR world instead of carrying the VR world on your face. The other thing is that this headstrap is really really made of light plastic and feels flimsy until you connect it to your VR headset which completes it making it a solid all-in-one VR system unlike the Elite-strap with battery that just feels heavy, thick and stiff. I am using an Anker 10000mah battery that gives me twice as much power than my elite-strap with battery and I have four of these Anker battery pack from my Quest 1 days. Now I can stick a battery pack on and watch several movies and switch them out when my quest 2 no longer shows charging; the battery packs just keeps charging and topping off my quest 2 internal battery until the battery pack runs out of power. This is the head strap that I have been looking for since Quest 1. I will be selling my elite-strap with battery and carrying case once I get my replacement. Not going back to the old archaic, heavy and always breaking design of the elite-strap from oculus/metaquest. Even if this head strap breaks I will probably be buying another one if the company fails to provide an adequate warranty. Unlike the elite-strap with battery and case that costs hundreds, buying another one of these head strap is an option since the price is so low. My highest recommendation to those who are looking for a head strap. Oh one more thing! there is no longer a front to back strap on this head strap so I feel like I lost a handle but I do see a horizontal slot on the back for a front to back strap so I don’t know if that is an option. I’ll need new muscle memories now when looking for a place to grab when taking my headset off. It is a nice head strap! I love it!!

This Oculus head strap is extremely comfortable to wear and easy to attach to the head set. The battery holder adjusted to the size of my battery and is simple to remove if needed. Very pleased with my purchase and I’m more than happy to recommend. It fits inside my case with the battery detached.
This is far more comfortable than the OEM headband that comes with the Oculus. The padding used is deep and soft, plus it’s easy to wipe clean after getting sweaty.
There is enough adjustment to fit all of the heads that regularly use the Oculus. It can be snugged down and then quickly opened up without any muss or fuss. While it’s nice to have the option to add on a power bank to extend running time, we find that the power bank’s weight sitting up high causes the headset to slide around when moving one’s head. We have another replacement headset where the extra battery is located at the rear, where it sits much lower, and while making the whole thing a little off-balance, it’s a better setup than having the weight sit up high. All of that said, we do like that the holder can be used with various sizes of power banks, although they have to be relatively small.
Getting the head strap connected to the Oculus was simple and required no tools. It took all of 2 minutes to get it set up and adjusted. The knob used to adjust the radius is easy to reach and use. It turns easily; even small hands can make adjustments without help.
The only real notable item is that the strap which goes across the head from front to back does not, cannot be adjusted to fit smaller heads like the 8 and 10-year-olds that use this headset the most. This is odd given how well it’s been designed otherwise.
The overall design and construction are good. I don’t see any reason why this wouldn’t last for years when used properly and taken care of.
Considering how well made it is and how comfortable it is to wear, I wouldn’t have any issues recommending it.
I purchased this unit after purchasing a much more well known BOBOVR M2 head strap. Comfort between the two halo straps is comparable, but this one has an adjustable battery holder for an external battery, yet it costs less money than the Bobo. It even comes with a cable for your external battery. All-around good product. Recommended!
Helped with headaches and evenly distributing weight. Nice location for battery back with grip. Only complaint was a small rubber piece from the battery holder fell off before I got to use it and is now missing. Probably just a rare mishap because the quality is actually decent. I wasn’t afraid I was going to break it while installing. The head strap has not broken eithe

This works very well and I was surprised to feel that the weight of the battery pack just kinda disappeared from my mind when using this. The battery pack holds firmly in place and no amount of bouncing around in vr even shifted it. It’s comfortable to wear and I actually like it more than the official pro strap because it feels more comfortable on my head from the generous padding.
This is a very well made strap addon, while its all plastic, the quality is excellent and the pleather touch points are soft and plush.
Installing is easy, though I admit I was worried I was going to crack or break plastic but its not as bad once you do it once. It is quite easy. The power bank grip claws are secure and the weight added is at the top which balances very well.
Overall, this is an excellent addon to the Quest (or Meta I guess) 2, as this act as a counterweight which makes it much more comfortable to wear. it now feels less like a mask but more of a hat.
The battery bank addition to the top allows longer wireless sessions, so no more worrying about battery life. I am incredibly happy and this is a very good addon to an already excellent product. I do recommend limiting the battery bank to smaller 10,000 mah or smaller, any bigger and I would be afraid of it falling out due to sheer weight and gravity.

It feels great and takes the weight off your face. I was very happy to see that my vision is more clear than with the stock straps. This is due to it keeping the headset up far better in my line of sight. The stock straps would cause the headset to slide and droop, with the only way to rectify that (short term) being a very tight fit. This halo style allows it to sit very comfortably and balanced with my vision staying clear the whole time.
This is a clear improvement on the basic head straps that come with the Oculus Quest 2.
Where this shines:
– Comfort is very good
– Power bank mount is a very interesting option for those interested
– Quality of the materials feel good and durable
Where this falls short:
– While the power bank mount is nice, I tried it with 2 power banks I had, and I guess while it worked, I needed to add an elastic band to make them hold properly and not wiggle too much. For games that don’t move the head a lot, it’s not that bad but if you move around a lot, it would need a bit of improvement.
Overall a very good option and the price is just right on my view.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I received this head strap but I am pleased to report that not only does it hold the power bank secure it also is super comfortable with padded head straps. I like the way it balances the weight it stays on my head better than the previous strap I was using which was essentially just a standard strap. To use the Oculus and be comfortable while using it significantly improves the game play.

This strap is worth getting if the stock strap puts too much pressure on your face. Plenty of paddings all around. Would recommend!
FYI There is another version of this headstrap available on Amazon that is virtually identical except for the battery pack holder. There is a ten dollar price difference between the two.
BUILD QUALITY
Made of plastic with removable vinyl padding. It seems well made and most of the components feel just as sturdy as other aftermarket headstraps.
INSTALLATION
Remove the original headband then slide the little arms on either side of the Quest 2 into the headstrap’s mounting brackets.
The rear band should cradle the back of your skull and can be tightened using the knob.
The battery pack holder snaps on to the upper headstrap. There are two spring-loaded arms on either side of the holder which can accommodate different sized battery packs.
The included USB cable can be run from the battery pack to the Quest 2’s charging port. The length is perfect.
PERFORMANCE
This headstrap is really comfortable. Wayyy better than the stock headband and just as comfortable as other halo-style headstraps I’ve tried.
The halo-style strap rests on the crown of your head. The upper-most strap provides extra comfort and security.
It alleviates a lot of discomfort and allows you to play for much longer.
One thing I would change is to place the battery pack on the rear of the headstrap instead of the top. This is to help balance the weight of the Quest 2.
VALUE
It’s only 10 bucks more than the version without the battery holder so I would recommend this over that model. Overall, solid value for massively increased comfort and playtime!
VERDICT
An upgraded headstrap really is a must if you want to enjoy extended VR sessions. This product fits the bill at a reasonable price and is a good alternative to the official Quest 2 Elite strap.
Loving the headset, huge upgrade from the default oculus strap. This one provides a strong hold and the whole thing feels pretty sturdy. Just got it but already feels like a keeper. Totally removes the weight from your face. I thought originally that the pivot would allow the vr device to be look lifted from face, but no this pivot point allows you to get the best fitting I’ve had for the quest to my face since I bought the device. With an a battery pack it does feel odd but at least it’s available if you forgot to plug it in.
I bought a different brand last year and it started to crack after 8 months, hopefully this lasts longer. I’ll update if anything changes.
This head strap and power bank are a great buy. Comfortable to wear. The power bank isn’t very heavy and it helps balance the weight of the headset.
I have the original Elite Strap that I purchased over a year ago. That was better than what came with the Quest 2. However, it still made it device remain front heavy and my strap is cracking. When this came available, and with a power bank attachment, I had to give it a try.
Right of the bat, to me, it seemed of better quality than that. I don’t think it will crack like the Elite Strap. For me, it’s more comfortable and with the design, it’s not as front heavy. With a power bank attached, it did make the unit heavier. What I did to alleviate some of this was to push it toward the back of the unit. It evens out the weight even more. The strap is also more adjustable meaning that I can place the Quest 2 to fit my face more comfortably. Also, it’s cheaper which is always a big plus.
I would definitely recommend this over the Elite Strap.

This new one make me feel more comfortable and can put a backup battery on the top. Link up with my quest 2 when I play. Make me no worry about the battery run out so fast! Adjustable range is big enough! Coz I am big size head fit for me ! Then will fit for most people
It’s light to wear but holds the weight of the Occulus well no movement.
My 10 and 13 year old sons claim that it is very comfortable, easy to use, easy to handle and easy to change from one to the other. The quality of the materials is very good. I gladly recommend it.
This product is perfect! 10/10 its amazing the leather is very good quality and the powerbank holder is very useful it comes with a small cable (perfect lentgh) to charge the oculus, when you are playing/watching because it has double battery from the regular oculus. My son loves it 🙂
So I jave 2 kids and they Don’t like the the strap that comes with the quest 2. They say it hurt there face.
This is true because all the weight is resting on your face and not your head.
So this product takes the weight of the quest off your face. So now my kids can play for a lot longer with out hurting there face.
The quality of the materials it good. Don’t feel cheaply made at all.
The padding can be replaced easy so no need to buy a new head strap at all.
I personal like where the battery holder is.
Other straps have the battery holder on the back witch for me pulls on the head set compared to it resting on the top off your head.

Have been using it for 2 days now and I’m impressed. So nice on the head and neck. I often think it’s to lose but it’s just the soft pads. Holds my large battery pack and balances the head set right out. The only real issue is it doesn’t tip up as I thought it would. I hoped it would allow the head set to go up to the forehead area. It tilts enough to see out from underneath though. I’ll update if anything changes but for now I recommend this head strap for the oculus quest 2.
I’m really pleased with this head strap. The original Quest2 strap tended to squeeze the headset against my face, whereas this one – having a “halo” strap, reduces the pressure on my face.
I use a battery pack with the headstrap – OKZY 10000Ah 5v/2A powerbank (from Amazon), which is thin, lightweight and compact. The battery pack fits on the top strap and I can move it to the back to distribute the weight more evenly.
It’s possible to raise the Quest2 headset up slightly due to the front hinge, which lets you see what’s going on around you without having to take the headset off – something which I really appreciate.
The rear head strap fits very well.
Due to the increase in comfort level – I find that I can use the Quest2 for a longer period now which is what I wanted.

This head strap is better than others I have tried. The padding is extremely comfortable and the way it sits on my head allows me to play for longer without my face needing a break (my old head strap would smash the oculus against my face). I also really like playing games that require me to look down at the ground and my old head straps would start to slide the oculus off my face but this one doesn’t which is really nice. I haven’t purchased an external battery to try that functionality but seems like it will be so much nicer than needing to plug in once I am low on power. This was a great purchase!
Very comfortable and feel like good quality. The size adjustment is just the twist of a nob, so you can easily switch sizes if you are switching off games with someone. The power bank holder is adjustable and fits the battery I already had for my phone, it also slides on and off easily, if you don’t want to use an extra battery. The white plastic matches the Occulus so it looks professional. Overall it is way better than the flimsy strap that comes with the Occulus.
