This is cute and cosy looking and I love that you can fold it down into a basket. But my cat won’t go near it….I’ve put it down into a basket and I saw her in it once but now she’s back to her grotty old towel on a piece of foam . It’s not the baskets fault….it’s the picky cat…..you just can’t rely on them!
The house wasn’t sewed completely it was missing stitches about 4 inches in one area that I had to hand sew.

This is my kittens favourite place to sleep, he sleeps inside it all night and in the day. He also jumps on top to make it a normal bed then sits on it.
It’s really soft and cosy, and quite big so I imagine my kitten will fit in it when he is a grown cat too.

Although the bed is lovely and warm, it’s only really big enough for kittens or small cats/miniature dogs. It is very well made, though, and would make a lovely bed. The cushion included is ok, but not as well made as the bed. It does have a removable cover for ease of washing though.
My two main coons love their new winter beds. As they are large cats they’re nice and snug in them and look super relaxed and happy snoozing away.
When can we get human sized ones? I’m jealous!!
My cat is very tall and this was the 4th cat cave I have bought her in hopes of it being big enough for her. She can get in and turn around with plenty of room! She fits in it great and has barely left it. When I have pet her she is nice and toasty warm.

My cat is anxious likes small spaces so I thought I would try this for her to ‘hide’…first I tried using flat as the bed option and I think she liked that, then I sprayed some catnip spray inside and so far she does seem to like curling up in there. Well made and it’s nice to be able to remove the case of the cushion that goes inside to clear off a little of the cat hair that I’m sure will cover it soon.

I thought it would be too small for my larger cat but he curls up in it contentedly.

Its grey, not a black, nice warm but roof will not stay up so it is like a basket which is very annoying as wanted to use with roof, very soft plenty of room for my little Yorkshire Terrier teacup
My cat (who has never liked beds and always preferred cardboard boxes) absolutely loves this bed! It’s very good quality and spacious enough for him. He also looks so cute in it!
When I took it out of the bag, it had a little chemical smell to it. I put it under my ceiling fan for a while and the smell was gone. I took it to my mom’s house (her cat) and he inspected it by walking around it, as usual. I put a little catnip in it, to entice him into it. He went in, circled twice, and laid down in it. Total time I had it out: 15 minutes. That’s amazing, it took him months to cozy into a bed that my mother purchased.
This one is like a cubby hole, so I’m sure he feels more protected in it than an open bed. I was worried because her cat is 13 pounds and didn’t fit in an earlier, smaller bed. When he was laying down, about a quarter of the bed was still empty. That was a pleasant surprise. It’s very soft and looks warm for him. I highly recommend getting one.

UPDATE: it’s now two years later; so I’ll provide an update. This Igloo was purchased as an emergency shelter for a Street Cat who was sleeping on people’s cold concrete doorsteps. Of a typical morning she’d be found so cold she could hardly move. So, seeing the sub-zero forecast for the following night, Amazon was my only hope for gettingher her some shelter instead of findinga frozen, dead, street cat one morning. Fortunately, as soon as she saw her new doorstep shelter, she was smitten. In the picture (Which is taken on my doorstep), you can see that she’s warm and cosy inside her new Igloo. The “body-heat reflecting” material certainly works, as instead of seeing “Maggie the MagRat” tightly curled against the bitter winter’s cold of a night, she was now cosily comfortable, stretching and yawning inside her den.
(We did have the incident with the snake. And it’s important to be aware that our “Introduction” was when she ferociously attacked me!! But you’ll have to wait until next Christmas if you want to hear our full hilarious story; when our book should be in the Amazon store. For now I’ll simply say that the MagRat abandoned her cosy new home a couple of months later — at 8pm on Christmas Eve, to be exact — when she marched through my door, announcing that she’d decided to adopt me… It seemed I was going to havecto share my Christmas Dinner (and my bed), as Santa had brought me a mad pussycat .)
This wonderful bed has become our cat’s go-to spot to cozy up in. It is a soft, comfortable safe haven, and is enclosed enough to give our kitty her own “space,” away from our dog, lol. The adorable cat that I’m hosting was very skeptical about this cave that showed up in the middle of the living room. Random acts of kindness make him suspect he’s going in the carrier for a car ride, so he went to great lengths to avoid the cave. Twelve hours later, he’s fast asleep in it. I don’t know for how long this cave will last, or if he’ll decide to shred it with his claws. I just know that it’s working out for now.
I expected it to be a bit larger so perhaps it feels a bit small for my medium sized cat.
My elderly cat likes to keep warm, and this little “house” blocks drafts from the air conditioning vents. I lined the inside cushion with an old piece of fleece, so I don’t have to wash the whole thing.
Opened it up and set it up. Less than 5 minutes later my kitty was already inside.. he’s been in it all day. Great for larger kitty.. I have a Maine Coon and he fits perfect with room.

Wife and I had to kennel our cat for the first time , when we picked him up for the first time, the kennel had one in his condo living, i was OMG he is in side sleeping , he loved it , so i bought one , if you push it down , it is a bed , leave it up and it is warm igloo type , awesome product . worth your money.
Cat sleeps in it. Cat very happy. Cat doesn’t let brother inside. Brother cat sometimes jumps on top trying to smush her. Pops right back into hut shape. They use it and seem happy. Love to give more details but I don’t sleep inside of it. My main worry was that it will be used and it is so I am also happy.

Gave this as a gift…our friends cats took to it right away tho it is not very stable …if they run into it it tips over but they don’t seem to mind. It’s not obnoxious looking and doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb in a room –which is good.

Cons, there isn’t a pad in the bottom, but I like putting little fleece blankets in beds anyway so it doesn’t matter. Really there aren’t any cons.
