For such a compact size heater it really does warm up a normal size room(double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, 2 bedside cabinets and big bay window size room). Must admit I was a bit dubious thinking you had to have sat in front of you to feel the heat, close the door put it on high and let it run, once room was heated up it stays warm and toasty. Great value for money with the deal plus an extra 30% off so it was half price by time I paid and I’ve ordered another one. Best purchase this year.
The heater is very good, not so much noise as other fan heaters I have used before. In the beginning, it has a weird smell, but it disappears with time. Good value at the price paid.

It puts out twice the heat of my 2kw heater at only 1.6kw.
Not only that but it’s 1/4 the price of a more well known companies similar heater.
I am looking forward to being able to use for cold air in the summer months as well.

First impression
* Looks are quite nice, consider the offspring of a union between a dyson fan and R2D2.
** Small but definately not too small.
***Test run –
Level L – low temp heat
Level H – not so low temp heat
Level F – just fan.
These levels of heat and wind are more than acceptable especially for the size.
****Swing/rotation/oscilliation –
Ok, the manual says 40 and that means 40 of the centre axis either side, I would have like more than a 80 swing, about another 10 either side would have been preferable. That said, it isn’t bad.
***** The smell
On using the heat modes initially there is a strong sort of sterile aroma emitted. This either disappears after a few moments or becomes too familiar to notice.
The smell did not effect me, smells clean and new.
Conclusion
Excellent value at the price paid.
Unfortunately, the original heater supplied was faulty. But, after being in contact with the supplier, the problem was quickly resolved and a replacement was received within two days. The replacement works perfectly and the customer service received from the supplier was excellent. I have found this to be an ideal heater for localised heating where required.

Pleasantly surprised how quiet the fan is – simple to operate and the swivel feature is smooth. Unable to rate remote as I have not needed to use it with the fan (manual operation works well so no real need for remote)

My office is rather chilly and my legs feel freezing cold while sitting down. This little electric heater has helped keeping my legs warm. Here’s my review:
Pros —
(1) It is light and compact.
(2) It does heat up quickly, but definitely not the whole room in 2s.
(3) 60 oscillation also helps to speed up spreading out the heat around.
(4) Quiet.
(5) 2 heat and a fan only mode. I have only used the Low heat mode which I find sufficient for my need so far.
(6) What I like most is that it comes with a remote control, and display of current room temperature. What more is that when going to sleep, you can turn off the light on the display, great for people who can only sleep with complete darkness in their bedroom.
(7) More standard functions include timer of up to 12 hours, and protection against tip over or overheating, as well as cool touch housing.
(8) Good value for money.
Cons — I don’t find any.
Comparing to another compact oil filled radiator that I have, this iDOO electric heater is much more efficient, and easier to use, iDOO is certainly my first choice.

This iDOO Electric Space Heater is a fabulous little heater. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, in my Snug area of my largish kitchen. It works really well at warming up the area very quickly.
It is small, compact and very, very quiet.
It has no visible moving parts and cool air is drawn into the back of the heater portal and warm air is then discharged out of the front.
The air it produces feels like a natural Breeze, which can be cool on the fan setting, warm on the low setting, or is warmest on the high setting.
This heater comes with a small easy to use remote control, which also happens to work my Christmas fairy lights at the same time!
It is very light and easy to move around, the back of the portal remains cool to touch so can be used as a handle.
The heater has a useful oscillation mode, which gently moves it side to side.
The heater has a useful safety cutout if knocked over, or picked up and this works well. The front in heater mode, does get hot to touch so care would be needed with young children.
The LED display shows what setting you have chosen and then displays the current room temperature. This heater can also be set on a timer from 1-12 hours and will automatically turn off, after the period of time set.
I’m using it on the floor and can feel the warmth when sitting on my sofa. It could easily be positioned on a table or work surface.
This is a really useful item for summer and winter. It looks really modern and can sit it the corner or in a small cupboard and be used when needed. It would be easy to sleep through its low hum.
I’m really impressed with the iDOO space heater and can fully recommend it.
I think this heater is fantastic. Its compact and I think looks great. It has 3 temperature settings which are fan, low and high. You can have the light on or off handy if you are using it a night. It has swing mode too so you can have it turning. There’s also a timer so you set it to turn off. When you put it on high it heats up very quickly and it displays the temperature. If you knock it over or pick it up it stops working. And you have to press the on button to get it working again. When you turn it off from having it on high it enters a cooling mode for 30 seconds before switching off.
The inly downside is that you cannot control the fan speed but this wouldn’t stop me buying it.

I need ro read before I go to sleep, & also again when I wake up at 6.30am and used to get freezing hands! But now with this iDoo heater I can read in comfort! 🙂
With the current cold snap just hitting it was a perfect time to receive this and try it out.
Still spending most of the week working from home means even with layering up with warm clothing it’s still necessary to have the heating on more than I otherwise would so this is a handy little thing to have around.
It takes a little reading of the instructions to get going but I thought it was fairly intuitive. You can easily just plug in, switch on and work out what you need to do. It can be controlled by the buttons on the front or the supplied remote control.
Heat wise it does start to warm up the room almost immediately, although perhaps not fully in the “2 seconds” that the blurb states! Quite soon there is a nice warmth and it’s adjustable to two heat settings. As it’s so portable (as long as sockets allow) you can easily move it closer or further away depending on whether you are just trying to heat yourself up or the entire room.
It’s not noiseless but doesn’t disturb me whilst working. I don’t use it at night but I would be fairly confident that it wouldn’t disturb my sleep either. With two dogs roaming around the house I am also happy with it in that it’s cool to the touch so they won’t harm themselves on it. It has tip-safety protection too but thankfully my dogs tend to run around it rather than bash into it! Good to know the feature is there though.
There’s a programmable timer too (up to 12 hours) if you want to set that overnight etc, though again not a function I tend to use during the day when I can switch on and off as I please. The LED display can also display the room temperature as well as being used for the functions etc.
It’s great in my back room/home office to take the chill away without having to turn on the central heating. It’s also worked well in the conservatory where there is no heating and it does fairly quickly warm that up as well.
All in all a great little thing that does the job you want it to do.
The heater is a cylindrical shape with a curved top measuring approximately 37cm tall and 18cm wide. It is small enough to be quite unobtrusive but looks quite modern and I don’t feel that it needs to be hidden away when not in use.
The heater is very easy to use. It has a master switch at the back and a simple on/off/mode sensor button on the front. Pressing through the modes gives you fan only, low heat (1000W) and high heat (1500W). The digital display also gives you the current ambient temperature and it is rewarding watching this climb in an unheated room.
There is a light button which will turn off the display lights – ideal when using in a dark room. Any button pressed will turn the display lights back on.
The swing button sets the heater
into oscillation mode and it rotates within a 40 angle.
The timer can be set to automatically switch off the heater in any time frame between 1 and 12 hours at intervals of 1 hour.
Once switched off (long press on the on/off key), the heater will count down from 30 seconds to start the cooling process before it switches itself off.
These functions can all be controlled by the remote control with the exception of the light function.
The heater is quite sturdy and stable and must only be used indoors and on a hard surface. It has a safety cut out incorporated so will cut out if it is tipped over. Rather reassuring as the dog has shown some interest.
This heater is very quiet in use. It quickly warmed up an unheated room and it was convenient to have it display the ambient temperature so you have some idea of the heat of the room. It would be great if you could programme it with a heat setting and allow it to keep the room at that temperature but alas it cannot do that.
This heater doesn’t seem to be straining the smart meter in the same way that our old heater did so I am happy with the energy efficiency so far. This is currently on a half price offer which I would consider good value.
