I am down to just one working USB 3 port on my desktop. I couldn’t be bothered to replace the motherboard (which otherwise works flawlessly) so I opted for this. It costs more than I would normally pay but it was so worth it! In the past I’ve bought low budget powered USB 3 hubs which were pretty awful to be honest. I’ve been using this for a good couple of months and have no negatives apart from the port lights could be a bit more obvious as to which port is on or not but that’s just a tiny nitpick.
The only poor area is the LED’s are not very clear but this does not affect the working of this item
I needed to console 3 hubs into one. This hub made the trick.
It is very solid, the power is good and you can switch on/off every port.
