Seems good so far. Great time saver. But, the nut on the handle keeps coming loose. I’m going to have to get a lock washer or Loctite on there.
Takes a lot of work out of trimming! Works perfectly
The trimmer saved a lot of time trimming the buds. Easy to use. However the handle assembly broke because the metal used to attach the socket is to light. After a few uses the handle would turn but not the socket because the metal was too soft and the notched hole slowly became round allowing the socket to slip.
We removed the socket from the handle assembly and used vise grips to rotate the machine. Still works well but disappointed that have to use this make shift handle.
Did exactly what I hoped and worked well on large buds as well as the small bits you start to ignore after 14hr of scissor trimming. Paid itself off in 1hr of use, and I’ll definitely be recommending it to all my growing friends
This machine is great time saver and works great. The only issue I have encountered so far after 6 large outdoor plants is that the aluminum drive handle stripped out on the past plant. I had already made a bolt that I was using to attach to a battery drill to make it electric and I just continued that way. Only issue is the soft aluminum male drive handle. I will make modification to original drive handle using a 3/8″ bolt and its as good as new. Great machine with crap drive handle. Handle is also soft aluminum and deflected (bent) under use. So overall great machine but they should make better drive handle
Works well for what I need. Only downfall is did not come with extra blades or the shears it advertised

I rarely comment a review or product but I received my 19 inch ipower bowl trimmer and I’M IN LOVE… where was she for all those year…. Easy to use, fast trimming with very little effort. I have MS and last year it was a challenge to trim my ladies, but this makes my day… I’m a very happy man.
It does make the job fast, I can’t get the darn thing to close all the way, stays open about 1/4″ no mater what I do. Guess I will have to modify.
Quick and easy set up. Came with scissors and an extra blade which is serrated for dry trim. I did the wet trim and have to say it will save a TON of time! Still doing the big fellas by hand though but anything smaller to mid size comes out great!
Well, first impressions are WOW!! 2 hours work in 5 minutes. It really is impressive. I can see that it will pulverise dried material but no issues when wet for me. Highly recommended.
Everything works great, went through a few Lbs in no time, just clean the blade for better efficiency with %99 alcohol

An extra set of serrated blades were included in the package as a spare and also a small cutter probably to cut the fan leaves.
Review and Tips:
– You need to put some time in preparing the buds before you put them in the trimmer like removing all main fan leaves(nothing else the trimmer will do the rest) and also make sure that buds are separated from their branches.
– if you have a mixed load of small pop corn buds and bigger buds, you need to be careful as the pop corn buds will be ready in fewer rotations so you will need to open the cover and remove them before or risk losing them. It is not a shortcoming of the trimmer but of the laws of physics.
– I finished 10 plants within 4 hours with fantastic results. Tip :rotate slowly and check every 10-15 rotations.
– The actual trimming is customisable by how many rotations you want to give. The more rotations you give, the closer the “shave” (check the smaller buds early), 10-15 rotations for me would clear all small buds which I will remove and 25-35 rotations will trim anything else. The result is more amazing for the time spent.
– Out of curiosity(ok laziness) I pushed the trimmer to the limit leaving many leaves with the buds and also not removing branches and even then most of the times the trimmer would produce fantastic results. Some times I would need to open the separate the branches as they would become one big ball but I was not using it correctly but it was very forgiving..
One big criticism I have for the trimmer is that it won’t do the dishes, it will not make me a cup of coffee and it won’t get up in the morning to go to work for me. Other than than if you really respect your money and time, invest in this trimmer and by using it correctly you will not regret it. Plus the seller was fantastic getting in touch with me and answering all my questions and concerns. Thank you yuki (*^_^*) !!!
This thing is fantastic. You need this in your life. If you are looking at it, you probably need it. It saved my boyfriend so much time when everyone we know who said they were going to help didn’t show up. I bought some extra blades and was the best girlfriend in town. It was a great price. Just buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

Pros….Works great on wet product. Saves so much time trimming.
Cons….Rivet broke on the aluminum arm the fingers attach to after a few spins.
I almost bought a bigger trimmer machine with power, luckily I didn’t – this bowl was WAY better than anticipated. Wet cutting only – worked amazing – many hours saved. Would def recommend to others
Harvest time has come to be known around here as “trim jail”. This year, not so much. While the machine does NOT do anything close to a hand trimmed job, it does a great “first pass”, removing extra leaves/plant material, and leaving you with a roughly trimmed bud which can easily be hand-finished.
The machine holds perhaps 2-3 oz of dried, bucked buds, and in about 2-3 minutes of cranking, will process those to a rough-trimmed state. Some may have concerns about trichomes being knocked off during the process, but for me, that’s not a huge issue because of my “post-harvest processing”— I will reclaim them from the trimmed materials in a later process.
Overall, I’m quite pleased with my results– as are my back, arms, wrists and hands. I was able to easily process a couple pounds in a few hours– not to super-trimmed specs, but at least in a state where I felt ok jarring them up to begin curing. FTW.
I trimmed 1 plant and then I decided to spend the money on this. I literally saved 60 hours worth of trimming with this trimmer and the buds actually come out nicer! I even did all my friends’ plants. 4 full plants with fan leaves and all in under 1 hour! Worth every single penny!!!

Great trimmer. Works well with both wet and dry bud. With wet you have to crank more and with dry you can crank it too much and the little buds fall.
This works well and saves hours of work vs. doing everything by hand. As a bonus, the trim is quite uniform in size and neatly collected in the bottom bowl, ready for further processing.

I was overall happy with this product until it broke. I received it on August 12th, and just recently used it a week ago for the 1st time, (other than previously putting the unit together to see how it worked). I used it one time and didnt even get to finish all my trimming. The small metal cylendar that sticks out of the top that attaches to the turning handle stopped spinning and will not turn the unit at all.. it seems to be a malfunction inside the cylendar and that part can not be separated to even see about fixing.
This is a huge timesaver! The trim is a 7/10 but I just go over it once with the hand trimmer before I jar. Wish i bought it soone
This really was a time saver. If you have a lot and cannot do it all by hand this is for you. You will lose less trimming wet, but if you use your trim for making oils etc, you can do it dry.
does wet very well.dry does chew it up but in their defence i’ve only used it for a couple pounds at most. and a rookie would definitely recommend as will cut down your trim time i just trim the big stuff with no glads anf use the shake for other stuff

This is the best invention ever. The time saved manually clipping alone, for me makes this definitely worth every penny. It’s easy to use and does a very efficient job at clearing the leaf at a consistent length.
This bowl trimmer is defiantly worth the money, saves a ton of time. In the picture above that was about an hour and half of cutting right from plant to trimmer. It doesn’t trim as close as I would personally prefer, but over all I’m amazed at how good it works I would recommend A++.

I like trimming a 5lb crop in 2 days by myself. No trimmers to pay. The trim is perfect for making derivatives. Learn how to use it, must be wet fresh off the vine to work properly. People who whine about losing trichomes are probably trimmers out of a job, or dummies trimming dry bud. As if people handling it doesn’t remove trichomes.

What a time saver. Trimmed 5 plants in about 15 minutes and cleaned up in 10 minutes using alcohol on the blades and Dawn dish soap on the rest.

Very easy to use and clean. WATCH OUT FOR THE BLADES!! THEY ARE RAZOR SHARP!! They’re supposed to be though, so that’s good. Literally took a process that took over 14 hours and brought it down to about an hour and a half or so. Completely, totally worth it!
I was hesitant to buy this device but my only regret is that I didn’t buy one years ago.
Make sure your crop is a bit moist this device will eat up dry product.
I take my a half a day earlier than usual, you will still have a few lose odds and ends to clean up if your a perfectionist like me but this machine will save you mass amounts of time.
The trim in the bottom of the bowl is also a much better consistency for all of those who like to extract.
I would highly recommend purchasing one of these bowls and I will more than likely purchase a second one from our larger crops.
Very impressed with how sturdy and well made… way better than I imagined. Unfortunately I’m unable to use till September or October this year… I will definitely update if this trimmer doesn’t perform as it should…. but honestly I don’t see that happening… very happy with item. UPDATE…11/11/20. I used my trimmer during harvest… wow!! I did the work of 5 people in 1 day versus a week… I am so impressed with this trimmer.. and so happy I bought it. A+++
I cleaned the unit after I finished my harvest, a real time saver – I spread the trimming out over 3-days and the trimmer stayed clean enough, even though my bud was very sticky with trichomes.
Definitely worth the money. I live in a legal marijuana state and if your like me and dont wanna make your state rich buy this. I trimmed 3 giant plants in under an hour. By hand i probably wouldn’t be typing this review. Just a thought you guys should make a base that is shallow enough
I was skeptical and but this thing works really well. I wasn’t that impressed using this to trim dry and think too much of the goodness dusts off, but wet trimming just after harvest does a beautiful job and takes out hours of work. I clean with a hydrogen peroxide quick soak and water bath to get powdery mildew and dirt off, and trim straight out of the bath, and dry.
Buy one you won’t be disappointed ,just did 21 plants saved 40 hrs of trimming. Best thing ever.
Massive bowl and great blades with replacements, and hand trimmer along with a non slip pad to set The bowl on. Highly recommended for anyone that has a lot of trimming to do. High quality materials used in this product. Would definitely purchase again. Going to save so much time.

Makes quick work and does a good job at cleaning buds.
I really like it, because it saved me a lot of time to trim my smokable hemp flowers.
However, there are some minor things that I don’t like:
1. the handle comes off and should be able to be fixed permanently with a screw or something.
2. You have to wiggle a bit to get the top lined up with the bottom correctly in order to start tumbling.
3. It does take a bit to figure out the best way to spin it (it sometimes gets stuck on bigger branches and you’ll have to turn the other way then)
But altogether, I would recommend it and am still using it.
I have not used it on wet flowers, only on dry flowers.

This last harvest would have devastated my hands and my helpers hands, this bowl has sped up trim time A LOT! This product works best for people that have too much to hand trim. You lose some trichomes and some smaller buds but if you plan to turn those into butter, or some other product then this works perfect!
I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews on this one.
If I had one suggestion it would be to offer different grate sizes for different size buds. I prefer this to save time for the medium to small buds and it tends to pull the small buds through the “charcoal grill” grate. I’d like a tighter, mesh option to lose less bud.

It actually comes with one straight blade, and one serrated blade. The serrated is useless for wet trimming, which is the only thing you would want to do with a bowl trimmer. So it comes with one, extremely hard-to-find-a-replacement straight blade, and one serrated blade that I will never use, and NO wire blade.
This would get 5 stars if it came with 2 straight blades as per the product description.
The good news? This thing works VERY well. It exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I did a week’s worth of trimming in a day. The product went on the drying rack afterward, and was touched up with scissors before curing. All the trim is used in the magical butter machine, so the amount of waste was not a concern for me. In fact, I recovered much more product than I would normally have the patience to trim.
Overall, am pleasantly surprised with this unit’s functionality. Disappointed that I cannot find a replacement straight blade for the 19″ bowl trimmer though.
Works great. I think it should have some safety earnings in it as the blades are super sharp. Item states comes with 2 blades and replacement wires. Didn’t get any wires.

I like the fact this item saves time. Cuts it the way I like it.
Trimming my normal crop used to include several weeks of drying time followed by several weeks of trimming in which I regularly recruited additional help. It has always been a laborious task and something I dread.
Trimming this year’s crop was a great D light. What used to take over a month was completed in a single evening on the kitchen table. Once trimming was complete my product was dry and ready for use in 5 days.
I have used the trimmer 3 Different times now and have yet to clean it. Somewhat surprised at how well it continues to work.
The separation of flower and trim is also worth noting. The trim that is retained is much more usable and collectible than hand trimming.
In many reviews I read that the trimming machine caused some physical abuse to the finished product. My observation is that my finished product has never looked better.
