very well made, easy to understand the features. so much better in terms of build quality and reliability than my previous Razer Blackwindow v3

I should have bought a quality keyboard years ago. Nice connection options. Recommend. RGB not the brightest but that not an issue for me.

This keyboard is perfect for anyone not wanting something too big but still have a lot of functions the keys feel great and the ease to be able to change part out is fantastic! Great keyboard for anyone with its Bluetooth feature and ability to be set up for windows or Mac

Daily driver, replaced an old corsair keyboard. Bluetooth functionality is a little temperamental but i use it plugged in with the USB C cable anyway

The keyboard shown has a distinct colour difference between keys, some are a lighter grey, on the one that I have just received the colour difference is barely noticable.
Also the RGB lighting is not very bright when turned up full, being that I have poor eyesight even with glasses this does not help me to see the key lettering.
So for me not worth the money because of the above niggles.

Really nicely put together bit of kit. This replaced a broken g915 that I had to get refunded because of a broken key …much nicer and no crappy Logitech software. Although this is a thick keyboard and really needs a palm rest that really shouldn’t be a fifty sqid add-on ( or a couple of hours in the shed in my case)

    Good but chonky

I wanted a mechanical, clicky, wireless keyboard for Mac and PC. Job done

Works ok. If you want to increase Bluetooth connection timeout, check the manual on website.

Very good keyboard and the battery life last me about 2 weeks and to recharge took a couple of hours if that.

Been using cheap keyboards for years, this keyboard changed my typing experience and sped up my typing speed in ways that I wasn’t expecting. A joy to use.

I’m a programmer and I’ve used this keyboard between an office and home with the home use via cable and office via bluetooth. I bought the hot-swappable linear red k8 version for 99 and swapped the switches for linear blacks after a week or so. I don’t care about RGB.

I’m happy with the keyboard for what I wanted from it, which is pretty much “wireless, mechanical, hotswap switches, decent quality feel but not so expensive that I’d worry about throwing it in a backpack”.

I haven’t had any issue with the bluetooth connection to a desktop for my usage. I don’t flip between multiple devices so I can’t speak to that functionality. The keyboard does employ a battery saving power down state as complained about in another review but you can switch this off. For coding/typing it’s not really a problem for me as it only takes a few seconds to power back up.

Swapping the switches was easy enough. The switch puller provided isn’t great and a few of the keys that are closely bordered by stabilisers are tricky to get to but the feature works as advertised.

The downsides of the keyboard are its thickness/height — which may mean that a palm/wrist rest is a required accessory — and the general compromises made to meet the price point. These boil down to:

    * Keycaps – not the worst caps out there (and they’re at least a restrained style and not some “gamer” font) but they’re very much to a budget. This is not necessarily a massive negative as if you get into the world of mech keyboards you’ll probably want to get some new custom caps down the line anyway.
    * Some case “ringing” – again, the k8 isn’t the worst offender I’ve come across, and it’s far ahead of the <50 mechs you'll find, but it does sound a little hollow if you are a heavy typist.
    * Cheap feeling selector switches - by which I mean the Cable-Off-BT and Win/Mac switches on the side. These are plasticky, fiddly, lack positivity and are generally unpleasant to use.

What I would say is that these all come under "what I'd expect for the money" and strike me as the right place to save build costs for where this product is pitched.

I needed a new backlit keyboard, bought a Logitech and was very disappointed with it. Saw this, it had good reviews and simply ordered it. It is a great keyboard – simple. So good, I actually bought another the next day for my other computer!

The standard mac keyboards are just too soft and too low profile, the k8 is a pleasure to use.
