Absolutely amazing kitchen! So happy with it, it’s fantastic! So much detail and it’s so well made. My children who are 2 and 5 years old have had hours of fun with it already and

This kitchen is one of the best flat packs I have ever had to construct, but with the detailed assembly instructions & each item being numbered or have letter by the packaging, as long as you took your time, it was easy & once finished a very rewarding, substantial children’s play kitchen, which my granddaughter of two absolutely loves.

Absolutely love this kitchen and so does my daughter. She is 3 and even my 6 yr old joins in with her. The cupboard space is great for storage of all the accessories too!

I love this item; my daughter loves it even more. The only reason I gave this a four star rating is that the instructions were numbered and came with no written explanation. Also, there was a piece missing and my only option within Amazon was to return the item. Nothing to offer where I can have the missing piece replaced. In the end, we just purchased something from Bunnings which “fit”.
Otherwise, its a lovely piece and lots of fun to play with. Sturdy enough.

It took some time to put it together, however the instructions were really clear.
all round this is great quality and sturdy once built and you even get given spare screws etc incase some are lost later down the line.
This is a solid play kitchen for a child. It is fairly sturdy when properly constructed and I do like that it comes with a wall anchor for safety. The parts are okay quality, though I do believe they’ll stand up to use over the long term so long as a child isn’t overly energetic about using them. My only complaint with is is that the interiors do not really resemble the kitchen items they are meant to (the oven and refrigerator simply have solid wood panels painted the color of the kitchen rather than looking like an oven rack). This is a minor complaint and not one worth knocking a star off.

My girls (4yo) are very happy, they like it and play a lot. Good quality, clear instructions, took me and my husband less than 2 hours to put together. Happy kids, happy parents. Santa was very inspired!!! 🙂

Assembly was not terribly difficult, but took some time and it is necessary to be organized and unpack each piece and place in order for ease in finding. I noted that there was no #19, which was concerning at first, but there is no reference to that piece in the instructions (would have been nice if instructions mentioned that rather than me searching for it). There is no verbiage in the instruction and that creates some challenges, particularly when trying to determine which side of the piece the picture is referring to. If the assembler gets it confused, there will be problems later on. The unit is fairly small, so the space to work with is confined, but overall, the quality is good and the completed product is appealing. I did not experience any issues with the holes matching up or poor quality of any component. My wish list for this product: a latch on the microwave door so it stays closed, a sticker indicating which side of the pieces to use (they are numbered with a sticker, but that does not always work out), a colored photo of the finished product on or in the box just for reference, actual words on the instructions.

The quality is really good – thick particle board type, but looks like wood. Even down to the kitchen faucet, each piece is carefully designed to look realistic but still playful. The cabinets and refrigerator are quite spacious. We only have a couple of pots, a plate set and a few food accessories so far, but there’s plenty of room to store more.
Overall size is just right. It’s not too big; actually seems smaller than what we expected based on the dimensions. Height is perfect for a 2 year old. She’s actually just slightly taller than the kitchen, but I expect she will enjoy playing with it for s couple of years even as she gets taller. Also, we wanted something that would fit underneath the counter and this is the perfect height; it’s actually slightly lower than we expected even.
Assembling. Everything in the other reviews is true. This is not an easy kitchen to put together. Definitely takes a few hours, simply because there are so many little pieces and screws everywhere! But, I was able to put it together completely by myself in about 4 hours while my daughter was at school and hubby was at work.

This kitchen is super cute, big, realistic and it has a superb quality. It’s very heavy to move once built (it is made of wood) so it has to stay in one place. The only problem and hence why only 4 stars is because it took my hubby over 3 hours non stop to build!!! And let me tell you, he’s super skillful (airline pilot) but it was very hard work. Not necessarily difficult but extremely time consuming. Having said that my little one loves it. She’s almost 3 but I can see this lasting till at least 6.
Absolutely delighted with this product after debating spending the money on it , the quality is fantastic . I was missing a couple of parts that could have been misplaced – all it took was a quick email to kidkraft and they sent out replacement parts within a few days .

This is a sturdy kitchen that will last years and years so you will certainly get your moneys worth. It took a long time to put together (approx 2hrs) but it looks great and provides hours of fun.

My girls love playing with the kitchen, it’s well made and has a stap to fix it to a wall. I have only given it 4 stars because in my opinion I could do with a little space on top to be able to play on. There is not much space to put cups, plates, bowl ect for there imaginary play.

This is a great little kitchen. Very trendy and cute and all of that but if I had to chose again, I would probably go for a cheaper option. You’re paying for the brand with this one and there are other similar in style out there much cheaper.
Bought this for my 2.5 year old for Christmas and we are very impressed with it. It is very sturdy and well made and looks lovely in our house (much better than a plastic one). We have had a lot of use out of it already and I think it will be a hit for a long time. It looks like a real kitchen so he thinks he’s really helping mum cook!!

Got this for my little boy (18 months) for Xmas. It is gorgeous! Heavy, sturdy, looks expensive, very cool and retro. It’s not quite as big as I expected but actually is a good size. I think I love it more than him!!! Took my hubby 2 hours to put together. Super pleased with it.mi paid 100…not sure i would pay we price of 177 though.
Fabulous item!! Very impressive assembly instructions which each piece of wood numbered. Only slight hitch with the screws for the feet which were too long. It’s a present for Christmas so hasn’t been played with as yet but I’m sure my nearly 2 year old will love it!! Thoroughly recommend x

Excellent item. Very sturdy, looks so cute. All the little touches ie: phone , microwave turntable are great fun. My granddaughter of nearly 5 still loves this as do her little friends. Highly recommended. Took quite a while to assemble but very clear easy to follow instructions
Beautiful toy. Bought for my 3 year olds birthday. She really loves it and it looks lovely in her room. One thing to be aware of though is the difficulty to put together. We did it the night before our daughters bday once she had gone to bed. We were up into the early hours!!!

Took 4 hours to build by two men! Comes in million pieces! Looks fab but chips so easily being wood and painted finish. Oven dials are so stiff my 2 yr old cannot turn them.

It’s a beautiful well made toy kitchen, although flat pack and does take a good few hours to put together , it is easy to make instructions are clear – everything is numbered. and you will need a helper. But it is Definately worth the 3 plus hours to build. My little girl adores it and it is very sturdy and well made. I looked at quite a few before deciding on this one and I am so glad I did choose this. Fantastic, gorgeous and so cute. 10 out of 5!!!
My 2 yr old LOVES this she has played with it every day since we got it. Its a gorgeous kitchen and really good quality. The only negative it the plastic window on the oven door broke on the 1st day but we just removed it (and the bit on the microwave to be safe) but its fine without it and dd daughter hasn’t noticed any difference!
This kitchen took quite a while to put together but it was certainly worth the effort, It looks lovely in my daughters room. It is well made and withstands quite a battering from my two girls, it still looks as good as new. My daughters enjoy putting things in the cupboards, and my youngest especially likes the little phone. I would recommend this kitchen, both my 18 month old and 3 year old enjoy playing with it.
This kitchen is really well made. Took a quite a while to assemble (at least 2 hours for the quickest person!). Probably better made than my own actual kitchen.
It was for my 3 year old daughters Christmas present. The only thing I would say about it is it isn’t as big as you might think. She is not tall but the kitchen work top probably is lower than waist height. Ideal then for even the smallest children. I guess it has to be small enough for them to reach the top cupboards.

This was a present for my daughter for her 4th birthday, she absolutely loves it.
It’s sturdy, bright and has everything a little girl could need from a toy kitchen.
The only issue I have had has been the oven door screws not matching, and the legs would not attach.
I asked kidkraft for replacements and although they have sent them, the legs remain not threaded, I’m now not sure if they’re meant to be not threaded but it’s very difficult to attach them.
We have had this kitchen some time now so im just editing the review to say that the tap has now broken (my Daughter isnt rough with her toys) and it wont fix and also the ‘earpiece’ has come off the phone and needs to be glued back on. Also the clips that close the doors are quite stiff and the whole kitchen fell on my Daughter as she tried to open the top half of the ‘fridge’ this was probably our fault as the item is very top heavy and rests on narrow feet so we should have pre empted this and loosened the clips which i have now done (put a knife between them and loosened them out a little bit) i would recommend others do this too to avoid any accidents! I have re-rated the kitchen from a 5 to a 4 because of this.
After looking at all the plastic junk at the big box stores I decided to do some research online for a better quality kitchen and found Kidkraft. Their website showed a number of good quality wood products, and after looking at the prices I decided to go with the PVK (Pink Vintage Kitchen). Although still a few weeks away from her birthday, I am positive my daughter will love this kitchen. The style, color, features and quality should ensure this will get a lot of use. My wife thinks its a bit short for a 4 year old and wishes we had gotten this for her 2nd or 3rd …but I think raising it on a platform or getting some cool vintage retro sofa legs would help raise it 3″ or 4 when/if required, but not yet.
I purchased this via Amazon from DiscountgiantUSA. Total price was $132 shipped! For what I got I am very happy with the value. The 50lb. box took about a week to arrive. Be sure to go through the entire contents of the box first, and double check with the parts list before starting assembly to make sure you have all the parts and in good condition. There are a lot of pieces and its advisable to have everything you need before starting. As luck would have it one of the larger pieces (part #1) had a small chip at a corner in a noticeable spot. I called up Kidkraft and without hesitation they sent me a replacement panel. Although it took a few days to ship the replacement panel, the customer service was really good …just call them and they will send you whatever you need.
Assembly Notes: My part #1 was damaged at the corner out of the box, but Kidkraft replaced it asap via fedex that week. I also experienced a slight de-lamination damage on top edge of the fridge backing (that I had not noticed on initial inspection), and had to trim a bit off with a box knife so that top panel slot would fit over the backing. Not an issue if you’re handy with tools, but a pain for beginners. Hardware “C” nuts require a slot screwdriver as a philips cannot grip the shallow screw head. You will need a stubby slot screwdriver (or penny) to screw the two “C” nuts from inside the microwave area. The feet build feels a bit thin and delicate, so be very careful not to over-tighten as they look like they could crack if turned more than an 1/8th of a turn tight. The instructions are very basic, and some steps take a bit of thought (ie. which way do the vertical panels align, how to slide the backing panels in), but overall the steps work.

Design: Overall pretty good, a few minor rubbing marks but nothing really that noticeable. I’m a bit disappointed that the oven door does not swing down, but that’s being picky. It would be really nice to trick out the PVK with SS (stainless steel) door handles, adjustable feet, SS sink, and SS faucet (ie to match the right hand dowel shelf supports), and a real clock too. I would be happy to pay more $$’s for the above, or an “upgrade kit”, but that may be overkill 😉
Summary: At $132 delivered, the PVK is a really great kitchen, and much nicer than the plastic junk from the big box stores that you pay $100+ for. This is more like furniture, a nice heirloom or hand-down, and likely to have a good resale once outgrown. Part inspection and check-listing is critical ..so don’t skip this step. The 2.5 hr assembly is pretty intense and non-stop, very ikea’esq. If you have no problems with furniture assembly then this is not too difficult a project, but beginners may need an extra pair of hands and a weekend 😉
Design: 9/10 (cute-cool-retro, functional, stainless steel hardware/adjustable legs would be nice)

My daughter loved it from the moment she opened it and has played with it daily ever since.
Although it is an expensive item compared to other play kitchens, especially plastic alternatives, after shopping around and reading many reviews, I believe this will be far more durable and last much longer, as well as looking far more attractive than any other in the market, it never fails to get a compliment from visitors.
The kitchen is actually a nice compact size, considering it has a sink, oven, hob, microwave (that turns), fridge, 2 shelves and 2 storage cupboards, at about 1m square and 30cm depth, although we have it in a playroom, it wouldn’t be too imposing in any room
An expensive Christmas gift for my grand daughter. My son put it together and has had a few problems with the doors, but it does look strong and very pretty.
The price has been pretty consistent on this product for a few months but now I come to buy I find it’s gone up in the last few weeks by about 50. Not buying now out of principle. Very angry!!
I bought this kitchen for my 2 year old girl, i also bought her tidlo wooden fruits and vegetables, and a chef suit, and lots of pots and cooking tools, she just loves it, she makes “soup” and ask us to try it, the kitchen is very nice and sturdy, looks better then a real one. It took about 2 hous to assemble but it worth.
Found it to be very well made and easy to put together. There are a lot of pieces so put aside a good hour or two to build the kitchen.
It’s all wooden and once complete very sturdy and well made. It’s the perfect size as well, not too big but not too small either.
