To ensure the longevity of the finish, only clean with a soft dry cloth, never use polish or cleaning agents as they will remove the lacquer coating.

Good feel to the product. The switch is nice and strong used it for a few months would highly recommend
These switches are looking nice but they won’t hide any imperfections of the wall like some others. In some cases their design can attenuate it. So prepare your wall before you install them – they look really good on a good wall and it feels good to operate the switch.
Quality product with Contemporary Matt Black finish
Only issue is buzzing from transformer which could be intrusive if close to bedroom

Easy to instal switch, great looking, they are half matt half shine, just what I needed on the black wall.
Love how slick and moder it is. Super nice finish and not so shinny lik aoen of others, you can remove too cover and paint around without disconnecting anything. No scratch on it from use as metal in not next to plub entry
Does what is expected, less likely to be able to scratch the faceplate when fitting.

I changed my room to a black and white theme and this just went perfectly. It sounds out so well on my white wall and it was easy to install

I just installed it today and it has some weight like a solid quality product. It would be perfect if supplied with a back box to fit to wall. Best of all, it works and is black.
Who would have thought that a plug socket could be become the centre of a conversation talk about a new kitchen. It’s almost 2 years since we had a new kitchen installed and one of main talking points when friends initially came over was about this socket.
When more friends who haven’t been to our house over last 15 months, start to visit from the summer, I’m sure they’ll also be asking what is does and where to buy from.
We have never used it to plug in an electrical item, but solely for the USB charging and listening to music when in the kitchen. It is a very lovely looking item and would also look great in bedrooms.
People were talking about the cover coming off.. but I literally don’t have that problem so Idk what they’re doing with it. Great quality, the switch has a nice pressure point so its not too soft or hard to push.

it feels sturdy, nice to touch and classy but best of all it dims perfectly my led dimmable bulbs, I have a set of 7 bulbs main bedroom and 2 in en suite, all 7W each and am very pleased with the level of dimming, it can be adjusted but I found it ok from the box no need to tweak, no buzzing noise as well..
It fitted well in the box I had no need to change anything just wiring..
‘FUSED’ logo is wrong way around so its upside down when installed, not a matter of taking it out and reversing it as its a moulded guard and won’t fit any other way.. Yes i’ve installed it correctly as the TOP is at top as is the neon and switch is correct for on and off orientation.

These really do look the business. I ordered about 200 worth of switches, dimmers and plugs from knightsbridge all in matt black. Everything came quickly, was installed easily and is working great. No problems with the USB outlets. The only slight criticism is that the plug holes are a bit tight on some of mine so you do have to tug the plug out. They are brand new though so hopefully they will ease up over time and with use.

Bought to match sockets that had already been fitted in my new home
Gotta say, these are absolutely gorgeous!. they are really easy to fit, great price! but i had to knock off 1 star for the tactile “click” of the switch. the activation force is quite high for a light switch so you need a bit more pressure to turn it on/off than you might think. total non issue to 99% of people for if you have thin walls between you and your neighbour, they’re gonna hear them clicking on their side! (no joke. out neighbours thought we were tapping our walls for some god unknown reason Ha!).
UPDATE:
Simon from Knightsbridge quickly got in contact with us and arranged super fast delivery of a replacement shaver front – we’re so happy with the look of the product, however have noticed like another commenter that with a 240 output there is a slight hum – not the end of the world though!

Nice looking, easy to install, cable connections have a good layout making connection easier than mk etc.
Fitted this this morning in our bedroom- very happy with it- easy to install and looks amazing.
Only criticism is of the packaging- i also ordered 3 sockets with the order, two of them here slightly scuffed as the packaging was only a flimsy plastic bag. My guess is that they rattled around in the parcel and scuffed eachother in transit- which would have been avoidable with better packaging.
Overall though- the lightswitch looks awesome!
Really wanted black switch socket and this is good quality product with easy to fit. Really happy with this.
we used these in a restaurant nice matt black finish will see how long the usb part of the socket works but as its not daily use I’m confident it should out last our year defect period
Nice and robust finish, unlike some other matt black (which scratches easily) this one just has a light lacquer to protect them but not glossy which still goes well with my matt black kitchen white quartz worktop. Unlike my nexus matt black sockets by BG, these one seems v well made and resist well to my builders blunt force. And my matt black ones r already showing some minor scratches.
Looks great in my en-suite. Have the same style sockets throughout the house so very in keeping. Good quality
I went for some black and sleek that didn’t show the screws and now all the family are over the moon as they can use there electric toothbrushes as well.
You will need to buy the back box which it mounts to however and it has to be 47mm of depth.

We were looking specifically for black matte face plates. Tried two other brands – unfortunately, both looked very flimsy, tacky and cheap, the quality of plastic was poor. With Knightsbridge – it is exactly as it should be: they are well built, look and feel stylish and sleek, the quality of plastic is impressive, the switch action is solid and very satisfying.
When researching, we’ve read some reviews online that said that, being screwless, these face plates bent and wouldn’t fit onto the backing boxes once removed. We’ve got around 15 different face plates by Knightsbridge, and we have found that they work absolutely fine: they don’t bend and fit perfectly. We followed the installation instructions (you have to be careful and only open them via a designated clip), and had no problems whatsoever in repeat opening/closing.
Would highly recommend!
