Ace little torch. Like option you can attach to bike if needed. Disappointed lense is all scratched up. Check later (in dark) if this impacts ‘performance’ (or irritates me 🙂
Good quality torch very bright comes in a neat durable plastic box with all attachments . Good so you can keep everything together and your not looking for the charger ect. Overall happy with the product and was reasonably priced.

The torch is decent for the money @11 its good value for money. Its built well enough not top quality as the finish has missing anodizing in places etc. One downside mine had is that its missing a rubber seal under the lens cap on the threads. This would effect waterproofing however im willing to let this slide as to send the torch back for a bit of rubber would be exsessive. Brightness is there for most occations and if duribility lasts it will be a good purchase. Battery supplyed took a while to charge again cannot tell you how long it lasts but 30mins would be my guess going on past experiences.
Plastic box is well cheap that the torch comes in but hey 11 its still a decent buy
For the money it is excellent. 11 quid with a rechargeable battery and a get you home aaa battery pack if the battery runs out. The bike adapter is why I bought it, the icing on the cake for when my very expensive Hope One let’s me down. 5 massive stars.
The plastic case only had 1 clip to hold it closed and looked like it should have 2.

To be honest
You get a lot of ‘extras’ in the package that would probably make it a torch that’s ok for a tradesman.
The kit does come with a hideously big handlebar clamp that’s easy enough to fit on your bars.
It’s your choice.
If I could have seen it in real life I would have given it a miss.

Only issue the case is broken. One of the clips is totally missing and on the hinged part it is snapped at the back. Only keeping the item as i need it for work ASAP
Just received this, box was broken and there were no catches on it, held closed by sellotape. Seems bright and sturdy enough, only time will tell.

The intended use is (hopefully never to be exercised) to disrupt the focus of any opportunist adversary intent on physical harm. In a one to one situation especially, that could strongly facilitate responses detrimental to the attacker.

This is a convenient light to have around the house. We had some issues with the gas cooker recently and the kitchen was too dark to see where to “pop” the hole at the top for the gas to come up and this light came in very handy.
It’s durably built and provides a good light both when pulled out for a more focused light or when pushed in for a more diffuse and wide beam. The different battery options are useful whether you wnt to use the rechargeable one supplied or pop in standard AA batteries.

This is a nice compact torch who’s small size belies the brightness of the beam. It comes with accessories to attach it to a bike and also with a lanyard for holding round the neck when walking. Everything is contained within a strong solid carrying box.
The light is LED which means it used very little power to provide a strong beam. I usually deduct stars for not providing batteries where these are required but although AAA batteries are not included, it also runs on a rechargeable battery (the AAAs are presumable for backup). The torch comes pre-charged (not sure if it is full) so you can use it straight away.

This is a medium-sized torch made of a robust aluminium alloy that will protect the torch from the harshest drops. The light is very powerful and can light up a whole shed – it will get rid of your night vision if that is something you want to be aware of. The high brightness is great for finding or carrying out a focused task at night whilst also getting some overspill into the surroundings. The light can be made more concentrated or diffuse depending on how far you extend the head. This will be useful if you are providing light from a distance and you can concentrate it to reach further.
The powering options are vast and although the chamber is shaped to take a large cylindrical battery it has an adaptor which allows you to use 3 AAA batteries. I suppose this is handy if you require a non-rechargeable solution or if you lose the included rechargeable battery. This battery also comes with a charger which charges the whole battery in a few hours.
The downside is that in order to switch between the different lighting modes you have to turn the power switch on and off. That means that every time you turn the torch on it won’t remember the previous selection and will switch to the next resulting in you having to repeatedly cycle through it. This makes tasks which require intermittent light exhausting.

This can take either 3x AAA batteries or a single large battery which is provided. The good thing is that this large battery can be recharged using the provided charger so it will save having to keep burning through AAA batteries.
The light beam is very bright and can be adjusted to cover both large and small areas. It has a wide range, especially when the beam is small and it is concentrated on long distances.

I did find the spotlight did enhance the LED pattern. I did like that you get a rechargeable battery and a battery carriage that hold 3 aaa batteries to use normal batteries. The battery compartment is accessed by unscrewing the bottom.

Rugged and very well built, rechargeable long lasting battery as well as a holder for 3AAA batteries. Very cool box and belt holder. The torch is very powerful and bright and when using the telescopic adjustment it really does go a long way. The only odd thing is the Square beam when fully telescopic. Couldn’t test the explosion resistance…. best not try. all in all does the job very well …. did I say it has a cool box !
I got this for those dark nights that are coming to walk in the back garden or on walks in general. Very nice weight to it, nice and sturdy as well. I love the choice of different beams and is easy to tuck into my coat pocket. I also love the fact that it uses a rechargeable battery but, as a backup, normal ones will do fine. Great value for money and great quality. I would highly recommend for all walkers, hikers, or general household job light. Makes for great present as well for most people as well
Fantastic value, just 11 for a torch that really packs one heck of a punch. The beam is far reaching and very bright, zoomable too which is a great addition. It sounds silly but you need to suspend your common sense, and put the battery in the “wrong” way round – the positive end against the spring, which we found out by trial and error, thinking we must be going nuts.
But it’s a rechargeable battery using the usb charger, which is a great saving against buying yet more normal batteries which are expensive and never last long, despite the claims. That, to me, is a major factor in buying this.
It’s also strong, sturdy and lightweight – one of those torches you find useful for so many things. I use my phone torch primarily but my husband loves this, uses it in the garage, the shed, on his bike (mount is included) and couldn’t believe it was so cheap, as it certainly doesn’t look it. Five shiny stars from me, it’s ace.

The torch is perfect for taking the dogs over to the woods at night when dark, I like that it’s Zoomable…. Its very bright!

Really impressed with this. It comes in a hard plastic case with a few accessories, including the battery pack, and charging cable. There is no power brick but is USB powered so can use any USB A style charger.
There is also a “pod” to hold AAA batteries if you wanted to use these rather than the included battery pack.
The torch is really nicely put together, and feels great in the hand. The on off button is on the bottom of the torch and sits nicely to be used with your thumb when holding the torch in your palm.
The torch is fairly heavy, but this just adds to the quality feel.
The most important part, the brightness. Its super bright – and has a great zoom so that you can have a wide shall field of light, or a long (really long) precise beam of light – all controlled by pulling the top of the torch in and out. Action is really smooth making fine adjustments easy.
Ive been using it for a few weeks when walking the dogs or trying to see where they are hiding in the garden, and so far no sign of needing to charge.
Overall, I am really pleased with this. Seems well made (and is apparently water proof – used in the rain, but not actually tested it). Would definitely recommend.

This is a handy little torch, quite powerful for its size but also quite heavy. It comes with a large rechargeable battery that can be charged by a usb connection in a supplied charger. I don’t know if these batteries can be purchased separately, it is not a size that I have ever seen before. The alternative is to use 3 AAA batteries for which there is a purpose built holder. It is switched on by a nice tactile button on the end which is easier to operate than those type of slides switches.The beam is easily adjustable from narrow to wide angle using a smooth telescope action. I like the little belt holster that is supplied so it is easily accessible when out on manoeuvres. There is also quite a sturdy holder with jubilee clip that could be attached to a bike handlebar or similar. The whole set comes in a padded case which is a little bit plasticky but serves its purpose and I think it is priced quite reasonably. It would make a good little Christmas present for an outdoorsy type of person and I have also found it useful for looking for my knitting needle which went under the bed. It says it is waterproof and explosion proof which might come in useful one day. You never know.
On first opening it is a neat and compactly arranged package. The lack of instructions or illustrations meant you have to figure out that the rechargeable battery is inserted contrary to convention. ie you put the battery in with the +ve end against the spring. The operation — the focussing and switching between different modes might fox the non-practical minded. The lumen strength of the light, the versatility of the many modes, its practicality and sturdy build quality gives you good value for money.

I can’t believe this is the price that it is. It comes well packaged in what looks like a bomb-proof box. Inside the box is an AAA battery adapter, a rechargeable battery, a battery charger and a bicycle mount and a belt mountable canvas case.
The battery comes almost fully charged and, once installed the battery is super-bright.
It has a really smooth focussing action (see the video) which ranges from a very very bright spot to a wide light beam.
It’s fully waterproof and made of cool coated aluminium making it light.
For the price, this is a real bargain. I’d pay 10 for the box and it is really well accessorised.

I don’t think this has a low voltage cutoff on the 18650, I couldn’t find a capacity on the cell supplied so I tried to run it down to check the charging capacity. To be honest, the torch ran for 48hrs and was still going, however the light was incredibly dim by this point so I’ll check the voltage from the cell soon. This might be a good thing for you if you ever really need to eek every last drop of power out of your cell for a long time, but I’m curious about whether it’s gone below a safe level for the cell. I’m not sure what brand of LED emitter is installed so I’ve included a photo, with the lens at maximum ‘zoom’ the emitter clearly project it’s own shape on the wall, similar to the shape of a castle, and on minimum ‘zoom’ it’s a nice widely dispersed circle of light. I dont think the light has a particularly high CRI, and it’s quite a cold cast so it might not be to everyone’s taste but there is no denying it’s effective. The torch body is aluminium so it makes a good heatsink, but the head did not get any more than touch-warm anyway. It’s no Convoy or Nitecore, but it’s also a fraction of the cost, so as a kit it is really convenient and it’s a sensible value proposition.

This is a fantastic little torch that will suit a variety of purposes.
It comes in a little plastic box that doesn’t look the strongest, but it does the job of holding all the bits and pieces that come with the torch and is padded with foam so they don’t rattle around when you move it. It doesn’t have a handle so it’s meant more as a storage box than to use to cart around the torch.
The torch comes with a battery the size of a lipstick, a re-charging unit and a USB cord. It takes about 4-7 hours to charge and so far I’ve not had to recharge it. You can also use 3 AAA batteries as it comes with a little convertor. I’ve never seen that before and it’s quite neat.
You get 2 ways to hold your torch. You don’t have to use either but one is to clip to the handlebars of a bike or similar. The second is a little pouch with a loop you can pop your belt through to secure it to your waist. I keep it in the little pouch just to give it a little extra protection when it’s in my bag or pocket. The torch also has a wrist strap on it.
Onto the torch itself. It’s surprisingly powerful with a beam that either pinpoints or provides a wide sweep depending on how far in or out you push the head piece – much like turning a camera lens. There’s a small square in the centre of the beam but I’ve found that’s only noticeable when you point it at something flat like a carpet. Outside, it’s barely noticeable to me.
It’s a sturdy torch. It’s not heavy, but, well, when I go for a walk in the dark on my own, having the torch in my pocket makes me feel a little safer should anyone try anything!
I only tend to use the ‘normal’ high beam mode – but a half press of the on/off button scrolls through the other modes which include medium, low, strobe and SOS mode. When you turn off the light, it scrolls through to the next mode on the list.
For the price (10.99 at the time of my review) this is a great piece of equipment. It feels sturdy, does what it needs to and comes with lots of different options. 5 stars from me.

So this small lantern comes with a sturdy box, with rechargeable battery, charger, small transport bag, and all for less than 11 pounds? It’s without any question a great value for money and will recommend it to all my friends! Why? it’s well made, doesn’t look cheap at all, even the box looks great and does give the pack a premium feel.
The lantern itself has different modes, with different zooms also (took two pictures to show the biggest and smallest light possible). Maximum output is 1000 lumens…
It can used with the battery provided, or 3 AAA batteries (using the brand own compartment).
Everything about this lantern is good and it’s even waterproof (IPX4)
It comes with handlebar mount to use in bicycle.
Finally, it’s small and light, easy to transport even in my pocket when I go for long trekkings.

Batteries I would highly recommend
The torch, which measures just 14cms in length, carries a very strong beam. From a square of projected light, with a simple twist of the head, the square is transformed into a huge disc of light, albeit less bright. This torch is ideal for using in the back of cupboards to detect which pipe is leaking, or taking on an evening stroll in the dark so that the dog can go about its business.
The torch comes with a rechargeable battery and USB lead, so you will need to charge the battery via a pc or using a three-pin plug with USB port, which I fortunately had for using to recharge my MP3 player. The recharge took about a couple of hours, it was a case I plugged in and the next time I looked the battery was charged. The battery is placed in a sleeve and then, + end forward, slid into the battery compartment of the torch and you are ready to go. The stylish container holding the torch and accessories includes an assembly unit which will hold 2 AAA batteries and this is useful to have them on standby in case the battery charge fails while the torch is in use. There is also a bicycle clip and belt strap included in the box.
This torch is great value for the money and I was very pleased with it.

This is a nicely made torch that comes boxed with accessories. A bit overkill I’m but not complaining. In the case along with the torch are a charging dock (for the battery supplied) with USB cable, a rechargeable 18650 battery, case with belt hoop and sturdy bicycle mount. The torch has a slightly too small (for me) wrist strap and can manually zoom in and out easily to focus the beam if required. Talking of which, it is very bright and should be more than adequate for most uses.
Personally I won’t be using it as a bike light because of the weight, I’m no pro cyclist but I do do long rides and the less grams the better on the road. It’s more suitable as a hand torch IMO and fortunately I already have a mains charger for this type of battery (same as fitted in my video doorbell) as I can imagine charging it via the USB charger would be bit slow. You do have the option of switching to 3 x AAA batteries with the adapter supplied if required though. Otherwise it’s a nice bit of kit for the money.
We have a variety of torches in the house (given that we walk our dogs when it’s dark in the evenings) and this torch set compares very well against the others that we have.
From my first photo, you can see that the torch arrived in a sturdy, padded box with all of its accessories. This is one tough box – not some cheap and flimsy rubbish. Put your torch into this box and it should survive just about anything.
The torch itself is only slightly longer than the length of my palm, but produces a bright, tight beam of light. Pull the back part of the torch away from the front and the narrow beam of light expands gradually. This zoom in and zoom out function allows you to either pinpoint something that’s quite far away or generally illuminate a wide area near you (which we find most useful when out with the dogs).
The rechargeable battery included in the pack has its own charging cradle, which plugs into a standard USB port. Alternatively, you can use regular non-rechargeable AAA batteries, but personally I can’t see that I would ever buy disposible batteries when I can recharge the one that was provided.
Overall, I’m quite impressed with this little but powerful torch.
It’s not so long since torches like this were advertised on the web as “The flashlight the government tried to ban!” which was total rubbish but made the adverts interesting. This is an excellent torch — very bright — with a great supporting kit, at a very good price. The torch is stubby, can fit in your pocket, but is equal to most larger sizes. The beam can easily be altered to suit your needs and will suit most people for a variety of uses. The torch is pretty solid — not cheap plastic and can take a battering.
The supporting kit consists of a wrist strap/cord, a belt pouch, a bike handlebar mount, a rechargeable battery (with charger) and a battery unit that allows you to use three AAA batteries instead. The supplied battery is charged through a USB cable and it all arrives in a neat little box. I really like this and I think it’s the size and brightness I find attractive. I don’t want a large torch, I want one that I can easily slip into my pocket or belt pouch. Out of interest it’s worth purchasing a more robust torch pouch (Leezo and Nite Ize are good makes) which will allow you to “Drop” the torch in (without a front flap) but will hold it firmly and the belt clip can be turned to 45 or 90 degrees if that suits you. It also means the torch can be fixed to a pack or bag instead of your belt and can be pulled off instead of unthreading it from your belt.

As soon as I put in the Rechargeable Battery (supplied charged) and switched on the torch; I was sold – it’s so bright and the adjustable beam size/focus, is great and works very smoothly – although I must say at this point that, as there were no instructions; I had to guess how things went together (this may seem obvious but – with some torches the battery goes in the top and others in the bottom – then there was the holder for 3 AAA batteries and a removable large plastic tube) The body of the torch is reassuringly weighty (410g) and makes the claim on the label of the ‘Military Box’ (Explosion Proof) fairly believable – it’s also stated to be waterproof (on the box) but on the web page (Amazon) ‘water resistant’. With no instructions; it was via the web page that I was made aware of the 5 modes High / medium / low / strobe / SOS – which made the torch even more impressive – the box contents also include a USB battery charger, AAA Battery Holder(AAA batteries not included), a Bike Mount Holder, Belt Pouch Holster and the ‘Military Box’ with cushioning foam inserts. Again without instructions I wrongly assumed that the Bike Mount was a clamp to allow hands free use of the torch? I’ve tested it with the Rechargeable Battery and 3 AAA Batteries and everything is working fine. I read some reviews that question the working life of the torch but only time will tell….

It`s good and bright with 5 different settings and a zoom function; a very practical item for outdoors or illuminating those dark corners in creepy old houses.

The box arrived and inside contents to allow this to be hooked to a bike handlebar, re-chargeable battery, battery charger or use the insert to use with 3 x AA batteries. I charges the largish rechargeable battery. When charged, undid the screw mechanism and inserted the battery, the positive end facing the bulb and the negative where the compartment is closed. Little fiddley in getting the screws cap on, but once or twice done its mastered. I pushed the button at the screw cap to turn on. I am very highly impressed with the very nice bright white light, its very powerful. I soon found usage to narrow the beam when not wanting to illuminate the whole area. I do also note that the light when magnified when using the narrow beam, so quite good for focus on smaller detail and illuminates really quite well at this setting. A very useful torch that I am well impressed with.
I wanted a backup for if the Lenser ever failed so whilst not wanting to spend too much money but also wanting similar features/specs, I went for this.
The torch is delivered in a plastic box with all the accessories including a larger battery and charger as well as an adaptor to use regular batteries. I have so far only used the included rechargeable battery and charger and it produces amazing light both ‘zoomed’ in and out.
When the beam is focused, it does appear as a small square which I believe is a result of the design but move it out just slightly and this goes, leaving you with a bright, well focused beam of light.
Works great. Very bright. Lasts a long time. One of the best I’ve ever had.
