This is quite a simple design with few vices. It is easily installed however I was only able to screw on one of the mounting nuts. The bolts are simply not long enough. The nuts have the internal thread starting too far up the shaft for them to get purchase upon the end of the bolt. Best to find a simple hexagon nut from the tool chest as this may work better but not look as nice.
Nice looking lamp and easy to connect cable but designed for cable to come straight into the back put it onto a wooden block then cut a groove into it to allow cable to go side ways to connect to movement sensor.
Yes a lovely looking lamp when fitted. However as previous reviews have said the back bolts attaching the lamp to the wall fitting are too short to the point the front outer nuts couldn’t be fitted. However sourcing some longer nuts and bolts and drilling the holes out to fit the result is great! Thank god I used to fix b747s as a job! Seriously the lamp is great but might need a bit of “fiddling”
Very neat light, fitting below the guttering and above the door frame, only had 20cm. As another reviewer said, super glue the body bolts inplace on the back mounting plate. Very easy to change the light bulb if needed, just twist the light glass ( o’k plastic ) and it comes off.
Looks good, value for money and look the part. But, the screws on it are far to small and seems to be the only complaint on reviews. Other than that a good value outside light .
Needed a replacement patio light – this one was of the correct style and seemed to be very good value. Yes fiddly to install (not for complete novices) but once in place provides good light and seems to be waterproof. So excellent value
Good looking and good quality lamps. Dont have motion detection but I knew that and bought a pir to wire into the circuit. Easy enough to fit though did have a minor problem with the bolts you that attach the front of the lamp to.
Easy to fix. The bolts are quite short and they arent fixed to the back plate so when you come to screw the nut on the front it pushes the bolt back into the housing. I just superglued the bolts into the backplate and hey presto problem solved! Other than that no problem. Excellent.
Really pleased with this light. Great value for money & has really smartened up our front door. I’m so pleased with it that I’m going to order another one for the garden.
I asked my electrician to install it to a permanent feed, so no switch involved and it just takes care of itself. No complaints from my sparky either, fitted with ease in about 30 minutes (with a live feed just the other side of the wall already of course).
I’m tempted to change the bulb for a more subtle one, but there quite pricey. Something to get when the bargain one dies perhaps..
All in all, a great light fitting and I would highly recommend it, if it’s your style. I wish I’d found these when I had lighting installed on the front of my house, still tempted to swap them over!
Delivered promptly, unit looks excellent when installed. Indeed it looks far more expensive from a cosmetic point of view. As mentioned the mounting screws for actual unit could have been a tad longer, this really is a minor criticism. Would certainly buy again & recommend to anyone. Excellent value for money….
I have installed 3 of these lights in patio area. I am very impressed with the look and style. Good value for money. The bulbs give a nice soft glow without the glare of a normal high voltage bulb.

After much deliberation I bought this one and I’m extremely pleased. It’s not too big for the installation space and looks great in the back garden.
I bought this light for it at a bargain price of 4.59 from Amazon warehouse and it comes on at dusk and turns off int the morning.
