Various speeds, massage heads etc battery needs improving to last longer before charges as the power is effected. I think the product can improve if it was more powerful rather than speed. I ordered this on a whim on prime day for my partner’s birthday- which was over a month afterwards. Upon opening we discovered that it did not turn on or charge. A few weeks later I eventually got round to messaging the email address inside and I got a response a few hours later – they replaced the faulty gun for no charge which arrived 3 days later. I am seriously impressed with the service I’ve received and the replacement works perfectly. Great gadget that works well, feels nice and is incredibly easy to use. Very happy.

Excellent. Great value, helped loosen my neck from 1st go. Used every day and helped massively. I very rarely bother giving reviews unless it’s an avoid at all cost or excellent and this only in small number!!!!! Lots of useful attachments and definitely goes to high enough for any needs, plus smart box. Only niggle is why does it run outta battery at 5 not zero!?, I’d give 4.5* but better than 4.

Worked at the start but broke after 6 months. Thankfully after raising this with Aldom they sent me a new replacement free of charge!
This product is well worth the money I conduct regular Physical training and works every time we’ll worth the price.
First impressions are great because it is housed in a sturdy case with a place for each head and the gun and charger, full instructions are included and the gun is fully charged. I have now been using it for e weeks and have no complaints as it doesn't rattle, isn't overly noisy and does a great job at half the price for the more famous model
First day I couldn’t get into bed because of my sore weak puny legs due to my leg day at the gym. Legs were still sore when I woke up and that’s when the massage gun came to the rescue. Honestly I slept like a baby that night and it helped a bunch.
As a side note, I didn’t know the power on the right showed “10” when it was on full power. I thought it just meant 10% so I thought I had a faulty product. Should really specify that somewhere (unless you did then maybe I should go to the GP to get my eyes checked out).
Bonus: The case it comes in looks sick. The massage gun also looks cool. Sometimes I hold it like a pistol when I’m watching anime, amazing.

Follow_up: After returning the unit I was contacted by the Customer service department and offered a replacement unit which I accepted. This arrived quickly and is working very well. I checked the charging and operation and am very happy with it. Cannot fault the company’s desire to offer a good service and their committment to keep customers happy. We found it easy to hard on our muscles. Not to say it is a bad product. It’s not for us.
I waited a while to write this review so that I can be sure of what I wanted to say. This massager is super dope. I first bought it to help my husband with his should pain. But it turned out to be very effective on him that I begin to use it on my own legs to increase circulation. That turned out to be a much needed task to decrease charlie-horses and muscle stiffness. There are several little attachments that are to be used on certain areas or points of your body or specific muscles. But really, I like using the flat head for my forearm muscles (I type a lot) and the front and back of my thighs and calves. Is it like having a personal masseuse? Nooo, not exactly, but kinda if someone does it for you. The battery time is awesome, no complaints at all. You can use it for a couple of hours and still don’t have to plug it in. The speed levels are reasonable and differential in relaxation. It goes up to level 30. I can handle only up to 5 in some areas of my legs, let alone my back. Of course, my husband is bigger so more is his thing. Overall, the massager is definitely worth its price and it’s an awesome and sturdy product.
So i have been an athlete for my entire life and spend a good amount of my time exercising. I have had back, shoulder, and neck issues for the past few years and have always been on the search for new ways to ease my chronic pain. After alot of consideration and reading, i decided to give the Aldom massage gun a :shot” (haha). After only 1 weeks of use, i can confidently say that it has been well worth the investment. I have been using it daily on myself and cant remember a time i was more loose. The interchangeable bits make for a unique experience and once you learn how to use each one, you can tailor your massage to however you’re feeling.
Compared to other massage guns, this one has a few features that set it apart. Most other guns only have a intensity range of 1-20, but the Aldom gun has 1-30, giving you more versatility. It also boasts the same battery life as its more expensive counterparts.
My only complaint is that it can be difficult to reach certain parts of your back without assistance from another person. perhaps an adaptive handle/grip or different head could help with this. Other than that, i believe this is a great product, especially when compared to others for the same price.
This massage gun is amazing. Comes with multiple attachments and various pressure. For me, pressure 1 is enough. My husband and I use it to massage each other and it helps to soothe the aches and knots in my back especially after a long day of work. We love this product and it’s really value for money!

I ordered this product mainly for my wife who has been experiencing muscle pains in her back and shoulders. My Children all in their 20’s do vigorous workouts and such as well, and they have really enjoyed its usage. The only problem was within the first 48hrs that we had the product, the LED light went out and it did not indicate that it was charging correctly, although the unit itself still held a charge and continued to work. (Its an electronic device, sometimes things like this happen) I notified the company right away and they were very apologetic and sent out a replacement which is working perfectly. I can’t say enough about how this product is a must for relaxation, and if it weren’t for the great customer service, I probably would have returned it. Thank You
I got this because my massage therapist had used several like these on me in the past to quickly break down the top layer of muscle so he could get into the deep tissue faster. I was not disappointed with this massage gun. It feels just as powerful as the Hypervolt brand that a major national massage membership service uses. So far, I’ve charged it once and used it at least 10 times, and it is still showing 9/10 on the battery meter.
What I really like about this one over a cheaper one my wife got me is that I can really press this into my muscle without it bogging down and loosing speed. The cheaper wand style one felt like it would eventually stop if I kept pressing it too hard. This one just powers through without missing a beat. In fact if you’re not careful you can cause it to bounce the massage gun up and down off your muscle, which might feel good but will leave you with bruising.
It has 30 speed levels, which is probably more than necessary, but it’s easy to control with the touch buttons. The speed increases and decreases fast enough to make it not a problem. For me, I just hold the plus button for a couple seconds while it ramps up to top speed, and I’m ready to go.
I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of heads that come with it as well. I’ve found a use for each one of them. I also appreciate that they sent extra rubber grommets, I guess to replace any in case they tear.
All I need now is a third arm so I can use this on my back easier.
When I was looking for a massage unit, I found quite a huge selection. Most of the prices were out of my range. This unit had very good reviews and at a considerably cheaper price than most of the other brands. I was amazed when I received this unit. It’s of professional quality and very durable with a great carrying case for it and its accessories. The unit works perfectly and has absolutely helped loosen my muscles and relieve pain in my legs. I love the fact that it has 30 adjustable modes, from soft to very strong. I suffer from erythema nodosum which causes swelling and painful nodules on my legs and feet and being able to have control over this large range of sensitivity is a great benefit for me. I absolutely recommend this unit if you are considering investing in a massager. You will NOT be disappointed.
First I’d like to address the delivery. For me this item arrived as scheduled. The boxed was wrapped nice and tight. Upon opening everything was wrapped and packaged very nicely. Next the item itself came nearly fully charged. I used it everyday for the first week for about 20mins to relieve should and lower back pain. It absolutely helped a ton and relieved discomfort, pain and soreness I was having. Prevented injury during work and a trip to the doctor. Even after continued use for a week the battery hasn’t dipped one bit yet. Its powerful enough even on low speed/gear. States to have 30 speeds and I’ve yet to use it past 15 it’s that effective right now. I chose this massage gun over others for its function, battery life, number of attachments and the stroke depth which was answered in a question while others didnt provide that information in their descriptions. I look forward to continuing to use this product for relieve and prevention.
This is the best massager I’ve ever had. I typically used the $5-$10 massagers from Walmart then, I came across this!! It was around father’s day and I had been working out everyday for months. I decided to buy my husband this for Father’s Day (so I could use it anytime I wanted ha 🙂 and so he wouldn’t mind the price.) He LOVES his massager. Told me it was the best gift he had ever gotten. At 4000 pulses per minutes and the 30 speeds, it’s perf for those who workout everyday and also for those who just want to relax and feel wonderful. My husband and I use this thing everyday. It stays charged for days (I only have to charge it once a week). After using it, it makes your body feel light. It relieves muscle pain immediately. I’ve had a few of my coworkers to go out and purchase this thing and I’m also thinking about gifting this to my personal trainer. That’s how awesome it is!! Best purchase I’ve made this year! Practically everyone in my family has muscle aches and pains in some way and, as a result, I’ve been eyeing a massage gun for a while. After looking through countless models and reviews, I opted for the Aldom because it seemed to have all of the featured I wanted while still fitting my budget (especially when I caught it on a lightning deal). We have yet to really use all of the heads that came with the set, but it has already been a big hit. I struggle with knots in my back near my shoulder blades. My favorite way to use it so far is to have someone hold the gun while it is turned on and then I am able to stand and lean into the gun to have it reach the perfect strength and location. I have also used it on my larger muscle groups after intense workouts or when I am overly stiff. It has worked out really well! Having everything in the carrying case is a nice bonus. Although we haven’t had the gun for too long, it feels very solid and well built. I highly recommend it!
This is seriously the best purchase I have ever made! My chiropractor uses one of these and I asked him if it was something I could use at home and he said absolutely. So I went home and ordered this one and I got it next day. I immediately opened it and started using it and fell in love!! On the package it says for athletes and fitness lovers but everyone needs this not just athletic people. I highly recommend this product to anyone with old injuries, sore muscles, tightness, muscle spasms/knots or even just looking to relax a bit. I am a chiropractor and I use my hands for manual therapies ALL THE TIME. This handheld theragun is a game changer. We bought this massage gun at the recommendation of our doctor who felt it could help with persisting IT band (leg) pain after surgery. Using it on the adjoining muscles truly began to provide the first relief for this painful condition.
However we discovered that the “simple” concept of improving blood flow in targeted muscles proved to be a surprising relief for a number of issues. Tight sore muscles after being a weekend warrior on the tennis court. Hip soreness from compensating for a bad knee. Or releasing neck tension I didn’t really know I had.
My wife got this massage gun for a specific arthritis issue. We both have discovered that it can provide relief for a number of muscle and stress-related issues for us both.

I like the massage gun because the thing actually worked. I played basketball outside one time and my knees started to hurt. I used the massage gun in between games and noticed a huge difference for the better. I also like this product due to the different types of heads you can put on. Helps me get to areas I really need. This product is dope because yes it goes up to level 30 but I never really needed it. Highest I went up to is 15.
The one thing I dislike about the massage gun is the battery life. If the battery is full charge it will read number 10. But when the massage gun dies it was at a solid 5. I don’t know why but it sorta drive me crazy but I can’t really get upset because it’s at a good price. Works well.

With Covid we needed to find an alternate for getting deep tissue massage. My daughter is a coach and told me about her trainer uses a massage gun on her team. I purchased this Massage Gun and got it 5 days ago. I have been using it daily for 30-45 minutes to some areas where I feel it need it to relive some muscle pain. I’ve been taking physical therapy for two months and was introduced to the use of a massage gun by a professional, a physical therapist. Having experienced the benefits quickly, it was easy to determine that “I HAD TO GET ONE”. My biggest drawback was the $500 price tag for the one they used on me. The one they used on me was very powerful and I didn’t want to get one that would not do the job. So. I researched massage guns extensively. I decided on the ALDOM brand. I have not used it for a long period of time, but what I have used it so far, I am extremely impressed. One of the categories I checked out was called Stall Force, or the force needed to make the massage gun stall from pressing hard on the muscles. If the massage gun has a Stall Force, I could not determine what it is from product information. I had to press it hard on the floor carpet to get it to stop, much harder than you need to press on a muscle to make it stall. It comes with various attachments for use on all your muscles and a functional carrying case and not just a draw string bag. So far it has been very helpful to relaxing my sore muscles and I am exceptionally pleased having purchased the ALDOM massage gun. I’ve been sleeping on a floor mat lately to support my dog who just had surgery.
My dog was happy about this, but my back and shoulder began complaining and the muscle became quite tight and tense. Then I ordered my massage gun. I have been wanting to get one for awhile and had been researching the various brands. This one really hit the sweet spot between affordability and effectiveness. I could be happier with the results and got immediate relief from my tight tense muscles. Very pleased with the purchase with a price that comes in right at the cost of a 90 minute massage…but has the advantage I can use it many times.
After my physical therapist introduced a massage gun to my treatment, I asked about buying one for home use. He recommended I look on Amazon, and advised that while they used a particular brand – he had purchased a different brand for his home and found it just as effective. I landed on this product after much research and couldn’t be happier. The battery life is incredible – states 8 to 10 hours, and I haven’t timed it, but I’d guess we’re getting more than 8 hours. I like the digital readout that shows how much power is left (it starts at a 10, but when it gets down to a 3, I go ahead and recharge overnight). It is a very powerful massage gun, and not as noisy as I thought it might be. Works well – as well as the ‘name brand’ that was 2x or 3x more expensive!
I suffer from Spastic Paraplegia in my lower body. Basically, the muscles in my lower body are always tight no matter what I’m doing. This can be exhausting and affects my gait. As a result of my unusual gait, my lower back always hurts.
This gun is such an enormous relief for these spastic muscles. I mostly use this in the evening before going to bed to help relax the muscles and to offer some much needed pain relief. I’m particularly happy with it’s ability to get to the piriformis muscle thats hidden under the glutes. It hurts but hurts so good.
I like that you can adjust the power and the variety of heads is really good. I love that it’s rechargeable and seems to charge quickly though I just plug it in after use each night.
There are higher prices units but this one does the job at a reasonable price.
After seeing so many glowing reviews, and for under $100, I had to give this device a try. I do not have much for back pain in general, but I do push myself working out sometimes, and this thing is just perfect for relieving muscle soreness from overexertion. I also appreciate the hand and foot massages this is capable of putting out, and the relief from my hands and feet aching is immeasurable, and really quite priceless. When I also get an occasional cramped leg, this takes care of it almost instantly.
The huge range of modes means you can find the perfect setting, and the battery lasts forever! There is a whole assortment of attachments included to be sure you get the right pressure, and it all comes in a really decent zip-up storage case. This was truly an excellent purchase all around.
This is one of the best investments I’ve made this year. I SUFFER and have learned to adapt to neck/back/shoulder pain. I receive unsuccessful injections periodically and was advised to try deep tissue massages. During one session the massage therapist was in belief about the size and how solid the knots were in my neck and back. Because he couldn’t break them apart, he summoned a colleague to assist and still they did not succeed. I have been regularly getting massages from a massage therapist for many years. Recently, she recommended that I get a massage gun to use while we are under Covid restrictions. I compared many different models online and read many reviews. I decided to go with the Aldom massage gun. It had many good reviews and I liked the selection of different attachments. I received my massage gun late last week. My wife and I have used it multiple times. She likes to use it on her neck and shoulders. She likes the different speeds and the different attachments as she likes both relaxation and deep tissue massage. I have used it on my lower back, and legs several times and have experienced noticeable improvement in my range of motion.
I am also impressed by the battery life of the charger. It last multiple hours between charges and doesn’t take forever to recharge.
Overall, I have been totally impressed by this massage gun and highly recommend it. I normally travel a lot for work and when able to do so again, plan on buying another one.
After elbow and ulnar nerve surgery and ongoing physical therapy with message, I continued to develop scar tissue creating pain during workouts where my tricep or forearm were engaged. Daily use of the Aldom massage gun dramatically reduced the scar tissue and has led to elimination of pain. Although I am months away from full recovery, this product has been hugely valuable in eliminating the ‘popping sound’ that is associated with the scar tissue and numbness upon waking. The continuous, variable speed to increase the intensity has been extremely useful along with the multiple attachments to smooth out scar tissue, massage sore muscles, or pinpoint knots. My wife regularly uses the massager for her back and has had similar results reducing pain. This is a great product at a very reasonable price, comparable to the much more expensive Theragun products.
THIS MASSAGE GUN IS AMAZING! I saw this at a friends place and had to buy it immediately. It comes with a carrying case, the gun, and 6 different attachments used for different parts of your body/muscle pains. I’m continually finding ways to use it and I couldn’t be happier.

My old massager was corded and had a long handle. The cord was a pain and the results were marginal at best. An advertisement for a percussion massage gun piqued my interest, so I decided to give the Aldom a try. Wow! Night and day difference from my old one! I have small hands but this fits well in my hand, is light weight and doesn’t cause hand fatigue. Being compact in size, I can comfortably work on more areas. The ball attachment is my favorite. When I work on my ankles and feet, I immediately feel the increased blood flow. My arms and hands lose their tension and feel wonderful afterwards. I have a couple of areas in my lower back that tend to give me problems (usually piriformis related). Working on these areas each day has helped so much. I expect to reach the point where I’ll have minimal issues from this area. For me, the best time to use this is before bed because it relaxes me so much that I sleep really well afterwards. I have literally used this massage gun every day since it arrived and will continue to do so. A cost saving benefit — I won’t be paying for regular massages anymore.
I could not have been more relieved when I returned home from my 4th surgery since June 2nd to see my Amazon package has arrived! As soon as my family got me in bed I opened the box and have a quick read of the directions and got to it! The power! Wow! I was truly amazed! After a planed hip surgery and then taking an unexpected injury to my ankle and leg breaking both sides of my ankle as well as the Tibia and Fibula completely off my hip has become still and my physical therapy has to come to an abrupt halt. This Aldom gun is a bit much for my hip just yet but if I start at my low back and work into it I already notice a difference!
I called my dad in and tried iton his arm first to make sure he could handle the vibration and he sat on my bed and turned his back towards me. Even tho I wasn’t able to reach him fully he got up saying it was the best massage hes ever had! 5 stars all around!

Let me tell you, you won’t go wrong with this product. I am a 260 pound bodybuilder and this thing is strong! On it’s most powerful setting, it literally is tough to handle and feels amazing after. The battery seems great. We have used 3 days and it shows no signs of needing charging as yet. I could not be happier with this choice of purchase. The price point is perfect. Don’t go the super cheap route, you will be disappointed. I believe this thing will last for a long long time! Great job ALDOM team! I love this thing!
This product is an absolute “MUST HAVE” if you are in any line of work where you sit for prolonged periods of time. I am a truck driver and my wife is a stay at home mom and we both use this on a daily basis. All of the heads work for the areas they are specified for and unlike other massage guns, the back and forth motion of this massager doesn’t allow for the product slipping and hitting your spine, shin, or other boney areas. The adjustable power makes this perfect for all body types and it is easy to adjust up and down. The ergonomic design of this massager makes it easy to use on yourself without straining. The fact that this is a completely cordless option makes it a total home run choice, as you can take it with you on the road! I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone, from teen athletes, young adults, the middle aged and the elderly. It does seem to improve blood flow of arm and legs as well!
As a professional service provider, bending and crawling all day long, under decks, in crawl spaces and in attics, takes a toll on the lower back by the end of the day. This machine has delivered what no other “muscle massage device” could. Within seconds of its application to my lower back, I could feel the therapeutic pulses delivering a healthy and effective pain relief alternative to modern day chemistry. I really love this device. Both my self and my spouse are so glad we made the investment.
That being sad, I only wish it had a “squishier” attachment. Most of them are robust surgical hardened plastic, with the exception of the foam ball, which has very little forgiveness as well. For deep tissue massage, this device and its features are top notch… But for a “gentler” touch, they may want to consider a soft, air filled, and more forgiving tip for beginners. Other than that, so happy with this purchase.

Ordered this due to constant pain in my legs, back, and hips. My chiropractor had one and I wanted one to help with the pain. I didn’t know what to expect because it wasn’t really expensive compared to other massage guns but it’s amazing. The packaging is really nice everything feels expensive. It came with a really handy carrying case with slots for all the attachment heads and everything was protected for shipping. The gun is a lot heavier/sturdier than I was expecting. It feels well made and really ease to use. there’s the on switch on the bottom of the gun and the power button to make it start bouncing on the control panel, aside from that you just set the strength level and let it go. I don’t know if you could get your back by yourself but I tried it on my legs and hips and they already feel better. If the head pops out just give it a little twist when you put it back in, it only happened once but just in case. I put mine at 21 strength and it didn’t hurt, it felt like the perfect setting but it could go higher than that if you need it. I was afraid I would regret this purchase but it was worth it!
Wife has drop foot so she uses more muscles than a normal person to compensate. She’s a nurse and her back pain has gotten worse over the years as well. So I got her this as an anniversary gift.
I spent 30 minutes massaging her with it and she LOVED it. Mainly focused on back/side of her thighs and her lower back and buttocks. Started off on a 15 setting and gradually up to the 30 (max). Fellas, this thing is effortless with giving massages. Being cordless is a huge bonus. I was barely putting any pressure and it was working out the muscle knots. Eventually had to apply some decent pressure to get the deep knots but still did it with relative ease.
If your woman works hard and needs muscle relief, buy this product.
There are many models of percussion massagers out there. I chose this one because of reviews, and speed levels. There are 30 speed levels from 1800 rpm to 4800 rpm. Don’t you want that kind of control? Sometimes a muscle can be so sore you want to start rather slow and work your way up.
This thing packs a punch. I have been in iron construction for 32 years and needless to say, I have a few back issues. This is my new favorite remedy! Be careful because it is so powerful it can take your skin off! It happened to me. Use a lotion or oil when using the hard plastic tips.
My wife had this thing on my back for about 15 minutes starting out on level one and ended up on level 6. When it was on level one, I was confident that it was at least level 20. I’m thrilled at how powerful this thing is!
Spend $50 and get 5 or 6 speed levels or spend $99 and get 30 speed levels and a battery than can go for 8 continuous hours. Was not a hard choice after the research!

Buying this massage gun proved to be an excellent decision by me. There are no words to express the attentive level of customer service received from this seller!!!!! Had a slight problem with my order and sent an email late on the evening of my gun’s delivery. Sent an email and when I checked early the next morning lo and behold the seller responded and took care of my concerns. Was NOT expecting this! The gun is powerful and well made. It take care of my pain and stiffness issues associated with working out, arthritis and other gifts of being a mature active man. For younger possible buyers, you will be totally happy with this device. Here is a good suggestion…..go to YouTube and look for a series of how-to-use video demonstrations created for THERAGUN buyers, but every one can use to supplement the manual that comes with this machine. The videos covers the whole body and is more than a worthy competitor for the Theragun not to mention the tremendous cost savings with this purchase. Very pleased.
I knew I wanted a massager but I wasn’t sure which to buy. I read the reviews and this one seemed like a winner. I received it and it REALLY IS A WINNER! I won’t make my review lengthy because the pictures and other posts explain in detail. All I wanted to do was to join in and say this machine is great!
I’m glad I took the time to do the research because this machine is amazing! I love the fact that it has various heads for various purposes. I did note other machines have only one head and each additional one is at a price, so in my opinion, this was the better option.
The manual comes in various languages and it also explains what the heads are for. The machine is very powerful and it helped alleviate my pain. Also it comes in a nice case to store it and carry it so it’s convenient for me to take along when I travel. I’m in love with this machine!!! This is by far the best purchase I have done thus far and wish I had purchased it sooner!
I always wanted to get one of those HyperVolt massagers but it was a little too pricey. My aunt and uncle have a proclivity for massage places but those are too risky with coronavirus 2020 still out here. We decided to try the Aldom massage gun as soon as it arrived and wow. The case it comes in is very sleek as well as the equipment and materials, it feels like it should be way more expensive for the price to be honest. ($99 at time of this review 6/2020). We tried it and immediately felt relaxed. I was going to take a nap just from the initial setting alone. It goes from 1-30 and 30 is my speed for sure. It also comes with various edges to adjust the pressure and body parts you want to massage. Definitely one of my best purchases on Amazon.
A friend brought this product over to a girl’s night and OHMiGOSH… Life changing. My back is constantly sore and my hubby has many great traits but he is a lousy massage therapist. This product has been so awesome with relieving my pain and keeping me functioning during COVID when actual appointments with therapists are unattainable. I did have to return the first one because I thought it was broken, but it was only a bad charger. It was replaced free of charge but I felt guilty for ordering a new one after realizing it was just the charger. So if you have this problem, it’s probably the charger and not the massage gun. I wish the battery life a a bit longer but I use it so much that it’s probably just a me problem. 100 percent recommend!
So far so good – only had product for a week. Cannot comment on battery life yet. Nice compact device with 6 different massage heads and carrying case with handle. Not too heavy to hold. Only negative is that the heads fit so tight they are difficult for arthritic hands to change but this may get easier with use – perhaps a press button release would be better. Husband has been using it and says after use he feels some relief and is happy to be using it. Overall good compact device that is helping to relieve pain.
As a follow up my husband says this massage gun is helping him with his pain and is very happy with this purchase. We received our free charger base today after submitting a screenshot of our review and are very impressed with the speed and efficiency of this company since we received the massage gun on June 17 and the free charger base today July 3. We thank them for their quick customer service.
The wife is very pleased with this model and we have found settings between 10 and 15 give her the best results.
Although this model came with a better base head, the flattish round one, it is still a bit harsh on edges, so I bought a different head that has a more spherical form at the edges which takes the bite out when you are running along the bone lines.
This is certainly a keeper.
The only issue I have with it is that even after about 4 hours of usage the battery gage still says it is at 10/10 charge which is impossible. If it gave a more accurate reading of the battery I would give this little powerhouse a 5 of 5 stars.
Arrived in a timely manner, very impressed with the carrying case, a breath of fresh air compared to the drawstring bags you receive with most similar products. Also impressed with quality and ease of use, came fully charged and ready to try. I ordered this to help relieve my husband debilitating sciatica, we have tried everything to get him even short periods of relief. He has been seeing his chiropractor and actually the day this arrived his chiropractor used a similar message gun on him and he had high hopes that the one I ordered would work as well, and it has! He said it was amazing to actually feel periods without pain. Of course he has a ways to go with chiropractic care, decompression and stretching etc, but the Aldom message gun has definitely become a huge part of his sciatic treatment. Strongly recommend this message gun, at this price point one of the best we have tried. Have no concerns on durability based on what we have seen.
As someone who has dealt with a lot of sports injuries and having a lot of soreness in my neck and shoulders, this is great to have at home. My PT used one of these on me and I didn’t think about getting one of these thinking it would be too expensive to get. When I saw this at a reasonable price and with the extra heads to do different types of massages, I really felt this could help me deal with a lot of my nightly aches and pains. So far so good. Battery life is good. Noise level is not bad. And the speeds are solid with even low speeds providing decent relief. I would recommend to people who have sports injuries, aches, and pains that just seem hard to find relief for as this can help take place of trying to pay for getting massages on a regular basis.
The gun itself is a fair weight not to heavy but doesn’t feel cheap. Attachments insert easily. Screen is clean and easy to use. I appreciate the light indicating battery charge, it is a neat feature. Handle is comfortable to grip while using. The speeds are impressive you notice a substantial difference just holding it.
When it comes to the actual use this thing is phenomenal! My husband has chronic back pain due to physical nature of his job as well as the lack of discs in his lower lumbar region. I have an autoimmune disease with increased inflammation and pain. It doesn’t help that our 3 year old ends up in our bed and sleeps sideways between us. So it isn’t uncommon to wake up with more pain than we went to bed with.
We have had this for about 3 weeks and we have literally used it EVERYDAY! I have also introduced 2 friends and various family members who have since made their own purchase. In a 5 minute test run they can see how beneficial it is. I love that I can use it not only to work out tough knots but also just for relaxing massage the help ease sore backs after a long day. It helps sore feet, hands, muscles and joints! Could even be used for percussion over the lungs.
My favorite use is over my SI joints, around my knees and shoulder blades. When asked my husband laughs and says “everywhere. My legs, my back and my arms.” He was skeptical about using it on his chest but tracing intercostals is very helpful to relax the chest and shoulders.
Needless to say we love this thing.
Received my Massage Gun today. Used it right out of the box on my calf and ankle. It is absolutely amazing how this relaxes the muscles and helps the pain disappear. I first was introduced to one of these at my chiropractors office. After he used it on me I decided I had to have one! This product appears to be well built, very functional, Very effective, and extremely easy to use. I have received nothing for this review. I researched the products offered and decided this was the one I wanted. Ordered it and received it in two days with Prime shipping.
UPDATE: I have now used this Massage Gun for 5 days. Two of those days it has been used almost every hour of the day. It has held a charge very well and performed flawlessly! I received a charging stand today as they said I would. Impressed with their customer service and fast delivery!
Some of the best relief from muscle pain and tension I’ve gotten in years. I have had a lot of continued pain in my neck, back, and shoulder over the last 10 years from an accident in my teens. Out of all the things I’ve done to try to alleviate my pain (pain management, medication, chiropractors, and massages) this massager has helped more in the few days I’ve had it than anything else. I can reach any trouble spots with ease and the relief is immediate and lasting. Each day the pain that has built up in my trouble areas has felt better and better and I’m already sleeping better and have more energy. Truly a life changer and I would highly recommend to anyone who has experienced long term muscle pain or is looking for some relief from any muscle pain. This has already paid for itself in terms of the relief it has given me considering the thousands of dollars I’ve spent over the years trying to get some relief. The only small issue I have is the battery life. It does last quite a while and hasn’t died on me, but the amount of time I use it usually drains it about 25% in around 30 minutes and I tend to plug it in after use. Not a huge issue or really an issue at all, but just a little note about how the battery life is. If you plan on bringing it with you and have not fully charged it you might want to fully charge it since the manual says you shouldn’t use it while plugged in. Remember to drink water after using it as it helps you flush out the toxins released when you work your muscles and if the toxins settle back into your body it may cause more pain. If you’re even considering buying this, do it. The price is great when others are upwards of $300 and the quality of the build is fantastic. 5/5
I work out regularly (crossfit, sports, running, hiking) and often get sore. I just got this gun and it has been very therapeutic for me. It is much better and easier than a massage. And it does not require substantial force with your hand, which is what I was concerned about. Furthermore, it is VERY quiet (seems quieter than the videos I have seen for theragun and others). It is a good price and does the job well. It is high quality. I am a physician and had a substantial discount on theragun during the shelter in place promo, but I still believe this does the job and is less than 1/3 the cost even with my discount.
So far, I highly recommend. Will update review if anything changes.
I’ve only charged the battery once and the battery is still at 80%. My wife uses the Hyper ice on one of her patients and she likes this one better. The Hyper ice is heavier, but louder.
I am able to use this on most of my body myself. There are multiple attachments that come with this. I mostly use the ball and deep tissue attachment.
The only thing I am having a problem with is figuring out how to removed the battery. If someone has figured it out, I’d appreciate some advise.
Usually, this type of item would be an emotional purchase that if I could hold off a week or two, the excitement would soon dissipate and I would forget about it. However, I was reminded by every sore muscle and headache i got just how much I wanted one.
I felt like I did my homework which consisted of reading a lot of reviews and looking into the companies. The reviews won out even though I couldn’t find anything on the Aldom brand.
I’m impressed! For $100, this massage gun is worth it. It is a lot lighter and quieter than the brand I had demoed in the mall. Same result! I will be using be this a lot!
I was reading the reviews of this item and most were pretty good except one guy said that it was garbage or something like that. Not sure why he wrote that because as soon as u open the box u can tell it is quality made. It just feels well put together and has a nice weight to it. It has a brushless motor too. If u don’t know what that means just know it makes the battery life better and the motor will have feel stronger. Just look at ANY power tool that has is brushless or brushed options for the same tool. Brushless is almost twice the price (yes they are that much better). That alone makes it worth 100 bucks. On level 1 u can feel it pretty good, and level 30 is really almost too intense. The only thing I don’t really care for is the bright green led ring around the bottom, but at least it serves a purpose {it changes to orange then red, depending on how much battery life u have left. I have never owned one of these before so I don’t really have a comparison but I can’t imagine the $300 version is 3x better. U will not be displeased with this purchase, at least I was
I just used this massage gun for the first time, and it’s everything I expected it to be. I’ve only used level number 4 out of 30 for the larger muscles, and the soft tissue heads, and a lower level for everything else. Again I’ve only used it once. I just received it so I can only review on my first experience. Sometimes you know right away if something isn’t right. I’m giving everything five stars, because so far so good. I turned the gun on at 80% battery life, so no need of charging! I used it immediately out of the box. The instructions are simple. The instructions on how to remove the battery are simple, but the unit is equipped with a charging adapter, so I don’t know If there will ever be a reason for me to remove the battery, so I may never know how easy it is or is not to remove the battery. I will update my review in about a year, but if something horrible happens I will definitely let you know promptly, however I did purchased this product based on the reviews I read, and I am not expecting any mishaps. The instructions could be a little more detailed on how to place certain heads on your body for example the U-shaped head for your Achilles, neck and spine, and exactly how and where to place the other heads for best results. Regardless I used all the heads, and I felt good and tingly all over afterwards.
With coronavirus on the rampage and my attempts to, as they call it, flatten the curve, I could no longer go to the massage place to get a massage. My friends then told me about getting a massage gun. Well, they actually told me about these things a few months ago, but I didn’t think I would need one. After talking me down some more and also after seeing it being used at my gym (which I’ve also stopped going to), I decided to take the dive and purchased one and I am so glad I did!
I didn’t think I could give myself a good massage but this gun is amazing! To be honest, it was a bit intimidating at first; there were so many pieces (well, 6 heads) and I really had no idea what to do. I just used the round one and started using it against places that were sore and it felt amazing right out of the box! I played around with the speed until I found one I personally liked.
The only ‘complaint’ I have is that it’s a little big for my small hands so sometimes and at some angles, I need to hold it with two hands.
I’ve never had another one but this one feels great and sturdy. Love the case!
To sum it all up: Super easy to use. I have no idea if I’m using it correctly, but it feels great. I’ll update this if I find any problems!
