Really good and bright low cost PIR security light, could do with a longer power cable. I had bought this as a replacement for for an existing model and had to bridge the existing power connection with an additional 2 feet (65cm)
Something inside the unit on the glass thought it was a crack. If its plastic will it heat and cause a crack on the glass? Otherwise very happy. Thank you.

I was annoyed with AMAZON as they would not honour a 5 voucher they had given me to pay for this light.
Easy to install- settings though are extremely small to read.
I fitted it four days ago and it works fine and gives a good daylight white without being too bright, it’s too early to give an opinion regarding its sustainability, ask me next yea
Installed it quickly, surprisingly bright for only 15 watts, motion detection good, cannot comment on water proof quality as only installed a week, time will tell.
Instructions could be clearer for setting how long light should be on for. Only had it four days so can’t comment on longevity.
We have some older lights from Meikee. They’ve all performed farely well in a salty environment. But one failed after 5 years so we bought this one. Seems of good quailty, but it’s only been up a week. However, the controls behind a rubber seal is a nice touch, even though they’re switches not dials. Time will tell.

As you cannot replace the lamp itself but have to dispose of the whole uni
Replaced my old light with this one as I wanted it to come on when the dog went out the back door so we could keep an eye on him.
The old one was a nightmare to get the detection right and the buttons were hard to use.
This is the complete opposite. Great control over detection, time and amazingly bright!!

Cable isn’t too long but I guess most will just run it to a weatherproof junction box near the light anyway. The controls and the cover are a bit fiddly once in position and the bracket is a bit on the flimsy side but once up it works fine, motion detection works at fairly acute angles which is good. Nice and bright, time delay setting for the auto off is accurate.
The light arrived as expected and appears to be as described. In view of the current cold weather conditions, I decided not to fit it at present but made sure it works as expected. Obviously I cannot comment on the other factors (motion detection and water resistance) yet.

These motion detection security lamps are great to have installed in various locations around your property, they light up dark areas without the need to hunt for light switches.
I regularly install new lamps on my garage as this is the big drawback, they last on average about one year before the LED’s fail and when this happens the whole unit needs replacing.
Most of these type of lights can be adjusted in several ways – day and night operation or nighttime only, duration of lighting up time and sensitivity of motion detector.
This model is cheap and cheerful, easy to install, easy to setup to your requirements and reliable in use, just make sure that there are no plants that can waft around in its field of detection or the light will be on and off throughout the night.
This is the third one of these lights that I have bought. The first 2 I bought for my parents home about 1 year ago and they are still working well. I bought the one for my home to replace a solar powered one that lasted about 10 months and cost more than this one.
The light came well packed and with decent instructions. It is easy to install. The chances are that you will need to join extra cable to it as it has a short cable on it.
The light is bright and the motion detector works well. There are different settings for the time the light stays on once activated and also one to come on during the day setting (why you would want it to come on when its light outside I don’t know).
All in all a good light and I would recommend it.
Does exactly as it says. Very easy install, just add a plug, very bright and very easy to set up. Only been up a few days so hard to give an honest longevity review, but so far so good
